April 14th, 2005 at 1:50 pmI have President Clinton’s “I Did Not Have Sexual Relations With That Woman, Miss Lewinsky” clip on one of my very favorite mixes for the car, and I love the guy. My favorite part is the one where he says “I never told anyone to lie, not one single time.” My ex and I turn to each other every time and say, “Awesome.”
One difference: Clinton lied about sex, which is pretty much natural in this society. Every time they tried to get him on fiscal ethics (Whitewater) they totally failed.
Me, I’d rather go with the guy who lies to protect himself and his mistress than the guy who steals and tries to cover it up, while busily violating federal law on CNN w/r/t threatening judges. HST, where are you? America has need of thee…
