Ever notice what happens after Bush calls someone “a good man”? They usually turn out to be scum.

Bolton, detested by people who had the misfortune to work around him, has the Bushco “selective memory”. I doubt very much he ever forgot any incident, or anyone he wanted revenge against.

His sole use seems to be that he is willing to try to dismantle the U.N. for Bushco. Are they really under the illusion that they can rule the whole world and create an empire that “will last for a thousand years”.

John Roberts forgot that he was a member of the Federalist Society. Rove couldn’t remember which member of the press gave him the info to “out Valerie Plame”. Do we really need people in power with such impaired memories?!! That is, of course, apart from the other million reasons we don’t need them.

I work around people like that, and to them (my coworkers) it is almost like religion, a matter of faith. Now honestly, these very same people hate democrats with every fiber of their being. We get along professionally, but no one would come over after work. When I ask them what they think, they knee jerk defend bushco and will literally say anyone critisizing this administration during times of war borders on treason. I kid you not.

They don’t know how close the are to the German people just prior to Hitlers rise. Good people who are unwilling to admit they may be seriously wrong and culpable in the rise of totalitarionism.

Kindness, I feel your pain. I asked this question on another thread to NED, Lyle, and their kind, but as I expected, the question was ignored. I’ve never heard anyone give a coherent explanation as to why they follow this so-called “leader” or voted for him in the first place, especially for the second term. I remain dumbfounded.

State Dept. spokesliar Sean McCormack, only appointed on 6/2/05, claims Bolton “did not recall being interviewed by the inspector general” when filling out forms for his Senate confirmation hearings.

More of the same b.s. from this administration. He “forgot” his interview — shades of Ronald Reagan!
Why cannot everyone see that no one in this cabal of criminals can tell the truth — their memories are so very convenient.
They are fascists. If you don’t believe so, look up the definition.
Look at quotes from Nazi German leaders. See if they don’t apply to this administration.
Read Orwell’s “1984″ and see if it doesn’t appear to be the playbook for Bush and Company.
If he didn’t own (through purchase, extortion and bribery) the entire congress, and were not aided and abetted by the corporate ownership of the media (supported by the FCC)he would have been impeached long ago. He is by far the worst president in history — thousands have died, billions have been lost, and the costs keep rising.
When Bush appoints Bolton to the UN next week, we will have an uncontrollable liar reporesenting the U.S. to the world. Between him and Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, we are doomed.

Maybe this Administration will shift our focus back to Rove to deflect it from Bolton. It worked Roberts over Rove… it should work Rove over Bolton right?! A Democrat, obviously being obstructionist, felt he had to point this out explicitly. When was the last time you had to tell someone, “Excuse me, I don’t mean to correct you, but you were interviewed as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. Remember? All those questions the Inspector General had for you? About that one crime?”

It’s not Bolton’s fault if he can’t remember something just because it happened. Sounds like sloppy research, or maybe he lost his daybook. Classic Reaganite Liar’s Loophole. It’s not a lie if you believe it at the time. Bravo Bolton! Well played! If we applaud loudly, perchance we’ll see a lamp-throwing encore.

At the very least, he’s getting a show on Fox News out of this (move over Ollie!). Though it’s looking more and more like an ensemble cast.
