  1. Gary Kleppe Says:

The video clipped the next thing he said, “…but it’s okay if you’re a Republican.”

  2. Don Davis Says:

His Momma always liked Jeb best and his Daddy didn’t like DUHbya(Hence the name) at all.

  3. theorajones Says:

I swear, they’re like a modern day House of Atreus…

  4. John the Elder Says:

And like he has no idea what his son and his old cronies from his administration have been up to since before day 1., and therefore he is innocent…Right! Watch out for those flying pigs!

  5. L.Madon Says:

I’ve read in a couple of different places (can’t remember where) that when Rove worked for Daddy Bush, he was fired by George H.W. Bush during his campaign/adminstration, for leaking information to Novak. Has anyone else seen this?

  6. Jon Says:

Poppy’s son has already said what he thinks about Rove and the PlameGate scandal.

    From October 7, 2003:

“I don’t know if we’re going to find out the senior administration official. Now, this is a large administration, and there’s a lot of senior officials.”

    From July 13, 2005:

“I also will not prejudge the investigation based on media reports. We’re in the midst of an ongoing investigation and I will be more than happy to comment further once the investigation is completed.”

  7. Terry C Says:

I wasn’t crazy about Bush pere, but he’s a saint compared to his son.

  8. Soprano Says:

Rove was fired from the G.H.W. Bush campaign for leaking detrimental information about Robert Mosbacher to Novak. Rove viewed Mosbacher–a powerful politician and long-time personal friend of the candidate’s–as a rival for G.H.W.B.’s attention and tried to eliminate him by revealing to Novak the goings on in a high-level confidential campaign meeting. Not a good move. On the other hand, Junior picked Rove up from the garbage heap onto which Senior had so blithely tossed him, and the rest is, goddess help us, our living history.

  9. Mark Adams Says:

Daddy Bush knew Turdblossom was worthless when he fired him back in ‘92 for — of all things — leaking.

  10. John Says:

Saw this on Democracy Now . Amy Goodman was talking to Phillip Agee( Former CIA whistleblower) about why the Intelligence Identities Protection Act was put in place. The above B1 comment was meant for Agee and his fellow reporters who outed CIA agents who were up to highly illegal activities.

  11. twc Says:

And here’s what he said in a handwritten note to Joseph Wilson on January 30, 1991 (in the midst of Desert Storm, the first Persian Gulf War): “Dear Joe — Both Barbara and I appreciated your note of Jan. 25. Even more we appreciate your service to your country and your courageous leadership when you were in Baghdad. Good Luck. Many Thanks. George Bush”
Secretary of State James Baker wrote this to Wilson on a photo of the two of them seated on a couch in the Oval Office briefing the President and his top advisors on January 14, 1991, 48 hours after Wilson had lowered the flag at the American embassy in Baghdad, and 36 hours before American bombs began Desert Storm: “To Joe Wilson, with deep appreciation for your outstanding service to the nation — and with warmest personal regards. Jim Baker”
And President George H.W. Bush wrote this to Wilson on a photo of the two of them walking and talking on the White House grounds that day: “To Joe Wilson - with respect and best wishes. George Bush”
I suspect he likes and respects Joseph Wilson a helluva lot more than he does Karl Rove.

  12. Brian Says:

I hope I never see the day when I am ashamed of my children.

  13. Don Davis Says:

Daddy’s been bailing his ass out of trouble since DUHbya first peed his pants. But I,m afraid, Daddy, your bucket finally got a hole in it. Bye, Bye DUHbya!

  14. calif4nian Says:

Would like to see someone go back and interview Poppa Bush this time around and see how he feels about the outing of Plame, Rove presently, the CIA, and his son and all of Poppa’s old cronies.

  15. bartkid Says:

No wonder Pappy got left at home when Junior needed a parent to chaperone him on the latest Social Security Snake Oil tour.

  16. pikachu Says:

Buckfush, your site http://www.boycott-republicans.com is not resolving correctly. Errors and 404’s..

  17. Ryan Neat Says:

GHB still feels guilty for driving Barbara to drink while she was pregnant with Shrub. That affair of his left a Fetal Alcohol Syndrome baby that borders on retarded - and he feels the guilt for that happening. Too bad the whole country has to to pay the price for his youthful indiscretions…

  18. Tosh Says:

Hey, no problems, we’re all Texans now.

  19. kindness Says:

    buckfish-

if you just did a href= to your website it would suffice. That you are copy and pasting that whole thing into every thread is not only a little annoying but also kinda dumb. If you want to turn people off, keep doing that. & I mean the people that support what you are trying to say. Please, for everyone here, stop cutting & pasting that thing everywhere.

  20. Christopher Says:

So Poppy has a sense of ethics after all?

Wonder why he failed to teach these values to his brat kid?

    . . .

  21. Jealous of Jeff Says:

Sorry sports fans, the last 11 years in Texas, the last 5 in the US and the world and for the next 3, we are all taking it in the shorts from Dubya’s inadequacies in front of his father.

  22. Jealous of Jeff Says:

He’s killed more people, ‘won’ more presidential elections, given away more money to the rich, run up a bigger deficit, created more narcotics-producing farms (see Afghanistan - Poppy only financed the Contras using LA crack dealers).

The only thing left to do: pardon more crooks than Poppy did for Iran-Contra.

  23. Paul E. Smith Says:

What I want to know is the names of the 16 democrats who voted for CAFTA so I can get in touch with them by e-mail and let them know no financial help is coming their way in the next election.

  24. doug Says:

so turdblossom is a turd blossom.and his master is just a turd. duh

  25. Jalapeno Says:

Poppy wrote a note to Wilson and expressed his sympathy over the outing of Valerie! At least somebody in the fam knows what’s right!

  26. Jalapeno Says:

Paul, they are listed on Franken’s site. Said the same ones voted for the bankruptcy bill and “Class Action Fairness Bill.” How much good are these guys doing us???

  27. Han Says:

Terry, His appearance is more saintlike, but that’s because he’s so much smarter.
He’s the one who was behind the assasination of JFK: http://madcowpolitics.com/jfk2bb.wmv
That put him in the driverseat of the US.

  28. citizenx Says:

“The most insidious of traitors”-couldn’t have said it any better myself. The most apt description of the bush family and it’s legions of miscreant minions as stated by it’s own patriarch.

  29. citizenx Says:

Having just checked out Han’s web link http://madcowpolitics.com/jfk2bb.wmv left me speachless. The Hoover memo “JFK assasination” is quite possibly the modern day equivalent of the holy grail
and every human being alive should be made aware of its existence and to understand its significance upon the world in which we live.CHECK IT OUT!

  31. Baby goat Says:

According to allot of people I’ve talked to: Bush is simply insane! ….He endangers all living things and obviously has a death wish …at least a meeting with Jesus…Hears voices??? Why try and impeach him? He belongs in a very secure mental institution! Don’t we have a Surgeon General-or- someone/anyone who can lock up this fool? Maybe the a rally of the Psychiatrists of the US or American Psychiatric Association -or- I surely cannot be the only one to recognize this (him) for what he is…a pathologic liar, fraud, delusional, menace to society, delusions of grandeur, etc….

  32. buba Says:
