I give 10% (varies, depending on my mom’s needs) of my earnings to causes that desperately need my help. These are various causes, some social, some animal, some ecological. I also practice what I preach. No one that knows me would ever call me greedy, especially since I will joining the PeaceCorp (thanks Kennedy) next year.

I spend countless hours working on the causes of others. I don’t get paid for that, nor do I want to (although I think community service should be as mandatory as phys ed in elementary school). Your argument suggests that I did something selfish with my money. I give everything (and I mean everything) that I do not NEED to others. So, when you ask what I did with that couple hundred dollars, now you know. That exact day, I filled my mom’s car up with gas and, actually, bought her new glasses. The glasses were over $300 so I had to supplement.

If Bush sent me RELATIVELY what he sent to his cronies, my mom could have Lasik and drive a new hybrid.
