I’m not going to get too excited over it though, as there is certainly a long line of windbags ready to rubber-stamp their approval on idiotic policies. Of course, this was probably just an excuse for him to avoid answering questions about that little national security breach, and I expect to see a press release saying he was prepared to tell everyone the truth but that the evil liberal CNN wouldn’t let him speak because he was too conservative. Chalk up some martyr points for those poor oppressed repukes.

Wonder what Rush/Hannity/O’Reilly/Coulter/Savage/Graham/etc.. had to say about this? I’m sure they’re coming to his defense hook, line & sinker. After all, I’m sure it will ultimately be blamed on Carville for provoking him to say it – god knows repugnicans never accept responsibility for ANYTHING these days. For that matter, did they ever??

CNN can exhale now that they’ve found the obvious excuse to pull him. He has damaged CNN’s credibility but they couldn’t just fire him. It was a set-up.
