He could have run in 2000 and he would have won hands, feet, toes down. I think he's still a good man. He's got a lot of personal honor. I think in the end he was sick to death of being the stooge for the Chickenhawks. Powell wasn't a chickenhawk. He was a true warrior. He's seen the ugly end of the stick, and he wouldn't be so fast as the current crop of weekend warriors, and awol flyboys to send our kids to their deaths. I wouldn't vote for him now. Not since he sold his soul to the devils. He'll have to square with that one day. It will bother him for the rest of his life, given his personality I'm sure that it actually will.
