Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them. Seems like the Pentagon learned from the 1948 Chicago Trib poll declaring that Dewey would beat Truman by a landslide. Trouble is they only contacted folks with a telephone at a time when having a phone was mostly restricted to the wealthy. The big difference is that the newpaper at the time was really interested in the truth but inadvertently used a method to subvert it. No such desire to determine or broadcast the truth is found among the warmongers….

The Pentagon is doing this because the 9-11 Commission has evidence that the Pentagon knew the 9-11 planner was living in the U.S. one year prior to the 9-11 attack.

The 9-11 Commission is investigating why the Pentagon chose NOT to share their facts with other intelligence agencies.

This is another nail in the coffin and the Pentagon knows it. This is the evidence that proves that Bushie and Rummy knew about the 9-11 plot and did nothing about it.

I dunno, Liberal Progressive and Proud, that seems to me like a lot of pre 9/11 thinking, and this is a post 9/11 world. Now that we 9/11 in a post 9/11 world, we can 9/11 Iraq as much as we 9/11 want, because 9/11… and may I just further add 9/11.

But seriously, post those quotations everywhere. I would suggest that you leave off the preface that those illustrious politicians were speaking of Clinton’s intervention in the former Yugoslavia (which I did not support either. The Air Campaign killed more civillians than anything else). Just post one of those gems in Freeper land (if you’re not already banned). Something to the effect of, “Did you hear what Tom Delay said?” Then post the quote, and ask what they think. And then reveal he was talking about Clinton.

Eh, who am I kidding, as it stands Bush could stand on the White House steps while being fellated by Jeff Gannon, bragging that he lied and simply wanted to bomb Iraq for the oil, and half his supporters whould cheer, and the other half would deny it even happened.
