What exactly did Rove tell the president?

The AP wants to know.

  1. Anonymous says:

IRAN IS NEXT. NEW TERROR ATTACK IN THE U.S. WITHIN MONTHS TO BOLSTER SUPPORT, NOTICE THE MEDIA/BUSH ADMINISTRATION IS TURNING UP THE RHETORIC ON IRAN! THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT, THE NEXT 9/11 IS GONNA HAPPEN WITHIN MONTHS.

  2. Brian says:

    Bush knew everything.

  3. Brian says:

Congress has learned it’s lesson, Anon.

  4. later says:

No 9/11s. It would not serve OBL’s interests.

  5. Anonymous says:

yes, it would serve PNACs interest. Cheney and them NEED another 9/11 just like they needed the first one.its not about serving Osamas interests, once you wake up to that you’ll see who your real enemy is……

  6. Brian says:

I agree, later. But Zawahiri said to expect an attack.
Something is going to happen(but where? Here?). I’m sure they’re rather enjoying watching our divided country in the meantime…

  7. Anonymous says:

yeah, cause Zawahiri is so capable of doing anything right? gimme a break, al-qaeda can only hit us hard if we allow it to happen again.they can pull London style backpack bombs and shit, but they cant pull off another 9/11 without help again.you put too much stock in the bit myth of al-qaeda. yeah, they exist, but not on the scale the fear-mongers would like you to believe.

  8. later says:

We have the power to destroy the world. They have us right where they want us. I doubt there will be another strike on U.S. soil, but WTF do I know? About as much as any of the boobs running this freak show, that’s all.

  9. Chris says:

there will be another attack.they need Iran, so they will get Iran. if that means allowing a large scale terrorist attack to happen,im convinced they will.

  10. Susan says:

Didn’t you all hear that Chicago, New York and L.A. have been threatened again, supposedly? Of course it’s only the blue states that get threatened/attacked. And of course there are no details of the threats credibility.

I’m in total agreement with Anonymous and Chris. Watch your back blue states, a tanker truck is supposed to be the weapon of choice this time.

Later, you are absolutely correct when you say we have the power (nukes) to destroy the world. Thats why Iran wants the same power.

  11. Savant says:

Marshall law is the goal. Permanent police state. Round-up of dissenters to frighten, and curb free speech. Then it is all their way,all the time.

  12. Marie says:

Anonymous, I am afraid you may be right. The noise about Iran is getting louder and it seems they are laying the groundwork for another invasion.

  13. Susan says:

Hey, you just described Iraq under Saddam’s leadership!

  14. Susan says:

Yet Marie and Anonymous, Bushie has invited Iran’s new leader to the U.S. Guess he can’t be that big of a threat. Bushie probably just needs another robe wearing fella to hold hands with.

  15. Brian says:

Our gov’t knows our military can’t win a war in Iran or Iraq.

  16. Chris says:

Susan, keep telling yourself that. Iran is next, is it not obvious? Cheney has already written up plans to attack Iran right after the next “9/11 style” attack. wake up people, 9/11 was no accident, it was the pre-text for war wih Iraq just like the next “attack” will be a pre-text for war with Iran.PNAC is alive and well and the fact that this is Bushs second term makes it that much more probable we will get attacked to serve their needs.

  17. Keith H. says:

I’m kind of crossed up on what to think about the potential Iran attack. On one hand, I know they want it and I feel pretty sure they are capable of creating another ‘terrorist’ attack on us to supposedly give reason for attacking Iran. But then I think of all the lying that seemed to be necessary before the Iraq invasion and how everyone now knows about the fixed intel. With those thoughts, I can’t see them being able to get away with it again. I don’t think they would be able to lie about public support, lie to congress and to the u.n… Along with what is reported to be an over-extended military and the way Iraq has been such a success for them. Sh$t, we’re bankrupt now, how the hell could they borrow any more money?

  18. Chris says:

true Keith, but who has had to pay for those lies? not the administration, and its Bushs second term, so they want to strike Iran while they still have the white house.if they let another 9/11 happen , they will easily get away with attacking Iran. remember how “patriotic” everyone was after 9/11? fear is a very powerful tool that this administration uses very effectively.we are on the verge of something huge.our world is about to change dramitically.

  19. Keith H. says:

I’ve been afraid of it Chris, from the first words about it.

  20. Chris says:

dont be afraid, just tell everyone you know about it. tell everyone you know about the crimes of 9/11 and the media blackout, tell them about PNAC, tell them about Cheneys new plans to “nuke” Iran after the next “attack”. dont get scared, get angry. they cant ignore the truthseekers forever.there may only be thousands of us right now that demand truth, but soon there will be millions.especially after the next attack……….

  21. kindness says:

It is funny you never hear them threatening Dallas or some other such red-city.

I don’t know about the above. I have to think that OBL & co will try more terror attacks in the US. It won’t be by plane cause no one is gonna let hijackers take over a plane anymore. (that’s cause it isn’t a free trip to Cuba anymore).

I don’t know that they have any nuclear stocks. Sure they have the expertise, (Pakistan’s main nuclear expert is currently under “house arrest” for SELLING nuke bomb production to N. Korea, Libya and who knows who else)but I don’t think they have the fissionable material, yet.

They do what is easiest & cheapest. I mean last time it cost them 20 recruits (one is still in jail), 19 airplane tickets and a couple months rent for each. That’s nothing to take out a few buildings. Bang for the buck? Probably refineries, bridges, power plants. Things that will cause major disruptions economically.

That is really how Osama & the mujahadeen got the Soviets out of Afganistan, they bled them dry. That is probably how they would like to do us here.

  22. Anonymous says:

kindness, those 19 hijackers could NEVER have done what they did alone. please dont be so naive. you think those 19 hijackers knew EXACTLY where to fly those planes without the help of NORAD? you really think thats possible? ask yourself, why in the year prior to 9/11 there was about 100 planes diverted from restricted airspace, and it took our air defense an average of 10-15 minutes to intercept those flights. now why on 9/11 were the 4 hijacked planes flying in circles for HOURS off course on 9/11? you really think those 19 arabs brought our country to its knees and sent us into war all by themselves?i wish i had as much faith in those in power that you do. i see right through it though.

  23. Anonymous says:

you need to open your mind and realize what our government is capable of.the ends justify the means to these people. staged terror attacks have been used by governments forever. al-qaeda are patsies that could NEVER have done 9/11 all alone.they were ALOOWED to do whatever they wanted. CIA agents lived literally NEXT DOOR to Mohhammed Atta.go look it up, its true.

  24. Anonymous says:

  25. Susan says:

Hey Chris I’m totally with you and Anonymous. I was just putting it out there that Iran’s leader is coming to the U.S. and to me that is Bushie’s way of saying that he is trying a diplomatic approach.

This time Bushie has Britian, Germany and France on his side. Iran continues to state that they are enriching uranium to use for energy not weapons. Even if they are wanting to make weapons they won’t suceed while the world is watching. (Just as Saddam would never have suceeded) I think Germany and France should continue to stay alert but jumping on Bushie’s bandwagon would be a huge mistake.

If we attack Iran, we are ultimately attacking Iraq again. Iran and “the new Iraq” are one of the same. Both countries are now dominated by Shiites and do share the same political and religious beliefs.

  26. Susan says:

Kindness, the fact that blue states are the only states that get threatened/attacked is what makes the threats so fishy. If Al-Queda uses the internet to get info (which I’m sure they do) they would know that the people of the blue states do not support the invasion of Iraq. It stands to reason that they would target a red state.

Funding is not a problem either. Billions of dollars are missing in Iraq. Nobody knows where this money went but I have a pretty good idea. Iraq has bred more terrorists and produced more funds for their cause and Bushie is allowing and helping that cause.

  27. Chris says:

oh, sorry, great point though, they gotta make it look like they tried, good point.did you hear about Cheneys plan to attack Iran after the next “9/11 style” attack? scary shit. the writing is on the wall, and you’ll notice the media is pumping up the Iran threat a lot lately. theres a reason for that. Iraq met with Iran a couple weeks back about training military, so good point on that as well.im no conspiracy theorist, i never have been, but i expect a terrorist attack to be allowed within about a year or so.

  28. Anonymous says:

911truth.org (good site, doesnt fall for dis-information like some other crackpot, government plant 9/11 sites, it sticks to the facts which by themselves are damning).
prisonplante.com(this site is a little out there, but there is a huge 9/11 section, and while you should take a lot of it with a grain of salt, this site is still very informative.)

  29. Anonymous says:

  30. kindness says:

Sorry, I think you’re over thinking the conspiracy aspects. They (al queda) aren’t that sophisticated, nor do they have any inside pull. I disagree with your take.

But I do think they’ll try other stuff, as I stated.

  31. Anonymous says:

i didnt say they had inside pull, i said they were ALLOWED to do basically as they please. case in point:Weldon, who has championed the use of data mining as an intelligence tool, first alleged that the Pentagon had identified Atta before the hijackings in a speech on the House floor in June. He wrote in a letter to the Sept. 11 panel on Wednesday that its failure to fully investigate the claims ”brings shame on the commissioners.”

Weldon recently published a book alleging that Iran is hiding Osama bin Laden, is preparing terrorist attacks against the United States, and is the chief sponsor of the Sunni-led insurgency in Iraq. Many of the allegations are based on information from a source who has been discounted by the CIA as a fabricator.
what a convenient thing huh> Iran has Osama and is behind the insurgency. all we need now is a nice “terror attack” in the U.S. to blame on Iran, and we have ourselves another war. keep closing your eyes though, they love people like you.

  32. Susan says:

Kindness, you must have heard about the info that the 9-11 Commission chose to exclude from their report. Right now the story is about the 9-11 Commission but the info they excluded is the info Anonymous is talking about.

Atta who supposedly planned the 9-11 attack and all of the highjackers were under the Pentagon’s survellence for a year prior to 9-11. CBS News did a peice on it the other day. They showed video clips of the Pentagons charts of the movements and whereabouts of each highjacker. They knew where these guys were and what they were up to and did not share the info with any other intelligence agency. Thats your intelligence failure, the Pentagon not the C.I.A. The Pentagon allowed 9-11 to happen and that is a fact. Their only mistake was they didn’t shoot down the plane that hit them. They did manage to shoot the one down in PA.

Investigate what were saying Kindness, this excluded 9-11 Commission info is in the news and shit is about to hit the fan. It’s not a theory, its facts

  33. Anonymous says:

so they aren’t that sophisticated, but they pull off something as huge as 9/11? do you know NORAD was crippled that day? do you know anything about aviation, air defense, NORAD, and how complicated all of these things are? so is Al-Qaeda sophisticated or not? you only know as much about them as your bullshit media tells you. you probably had to learn online fom an alternative news site that Bin Laden was a CIA asset in the 80’s, cause facts like that get buried by the media.there is so much you dont know about the bin laden family connection to the CIA and the Bush family.they all knew 9/11 was coming, and they know about the next one too.stop being a pawn and open your mind to the possibility that these people are capable of some very sick things.

  34. Anonymous says:

true story, CIA agents lived literally doors down from Atta before 9/11, they were tracking him, as well as the Mossad.look it up and stop believing fairy tales like the 9/11 Omission Report.

  35. Chris says:

Susan, this is our problem, some people just dont want to believe that their government is capable of allowing something so disgusting as 9/11 to happen. you can throw fact after fact, and anomaly after anomaly at their face, they just dont want to believe their government is that fucked up.the ends justify the means to these people, and they dont believe that we deserve, or can handle the truth.

  36. Susan says:

I didn’t hear that the C.I.A. lived next door, I just heard that the Penatgon did not share the info they gathered from Operation Able Danger (?) I think thats what the Pentagon operation was called.

  37. Chris says:

read the book “Crossing the Rubicon” by Micheal C. Ruppert. lots of good info there, he used to work for the LAPD and was courted by the CIA. the CIA knew exactly where Atta lived.in fact, Atta has some pretty deep CIA ties……..

  38. Susan says:

So the CIA is to blame then? I thought that they were blamed only because Wilson wouldn’t be a part of the “fixing of intelligence”..

This country is in worse shape than I thought.

  39. Susan says:

Speaking of air defense, the last I heard our missle defense system is not working. That was about 6 months ago and I haven’t heard that its been repaired.

  40. Susan says:

Speaking of Iran, the latest neocon talking point is that Saddam hid his WMD’s in Iran and thats where they remain today.

If Saddam were a smart man he and his sons would have worried about getting themselves out of Iraq before we started bombing.

Save the WMD’s, sacrafice the son’s lives, yeah right.

  41. Susan says:

Speaking of Weldon, he’s a Republican. He’s demanding more investigation into the 9-11 Commissions exclusion of the Pentagon intelligence.

  42. TAC says:

    A GOP CORRUPTION QUINTET!!!

Whoooh, dawgie! The Republicans sure outdid themselves today. Not one, not two, not three or four, but FIVE marvelous examples of GOP malfeasance in Friday’s newspaper. Them Rove lovers are sure busy corruptin’ stuff these days, yessirree…

HEADLINE: CONSPIRACY CHARGES IN GOP VOTER FRAUD CASE
“The RNC has already spent $720,000 in legal expenses for the president’s 2004 campaign chairman relating to four felony charges…the RNC official is charged with conspiring to thwart Democrats from voting in New Hampshire.

“Jack Abramoff, a prominent Republican lobbyist and donor, is accused of using a counterfeit wire transfer to get financing…Abramoff is known for his close political and financial ties to Majority Leader Tom DeLay…for years DeLay blocked legislation which was strongly opposed by Abramoff’s clients.

HEADLINE: FEC FINDS IMPROPER USE OF FUNDS BY DELAY COMMITTEE
“…The political committee founded by DeLay is said to have improperly spent $203,000 in unregulated “soft money on Republican get-out-the-vote and fundraising activities…The FEC audit also found that DeLay’s committee failed to report more than $300,000 in debts.

HEADLINE: OHIO GOVERNOR MAY FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES

There go the Republicans, struttin’ down the street, showin’ off their pride. Funny thing is, they’re walking in the gutter, joyfully sloshin’ through the mud. I guess that’s just their nature…

  43. Chris says:

Susan, the CIA is ALWAYS to blame. they are deep into the international drug trade among other things, and they practically run the ISI(pakistans CIA) which means they had heavy contact with Mohhammed Atta.now ask yourself, if the CIA had such close access to the main 9/11 hijacker before Sept.11, what could they have known about 9/11 before hand?the CIA knows all.

  44. Susan says:

Chris, do you think the CIA is feeling betrayed that Bushie blamed them for 9-11 or do they accept the blame?

  45. Chris says:

they got away with 9/11, its happiness all around when it comes to that subject. they fooled america. George Tenet, the so called fall guy for the “bad intel” on Iraq got a medal of freedom. you have to understand that the CIA is the biggest criminal organization on the planet, so taking a little public lashing for 9/11 failures is nothing to them. so no, i dont think the CIA feels betrayed by Bush.they not only accept the blame, they laugh in americas face as most of us take the governments account of 9/11 as fact.

  46. Chris says:

go to norad.mil and contact any of the Lt. on that site and ask them why there were wargames on 9/11 that mirrored the attacks themselves. ask them why they didnt scramble jets that day in time to stop the hijackers from reaching their destinations.ask them why they stood down on 9/11 when we needed them most. ask them who told them to stand down, and who set up the wargames that day.good luck getting an answer to any of those questions, and good luck getting the media to ask them.

  47. Susan says:

Chris, I guess it is safe to assume that Valerie Plame Wilson was outed because she wouldn’t play ball? I thought Bushie and Company were the only ones involved in the outing but now its looking as if the C.I.A. approved of the outing. I wonder if there are more like Valerie who won’t play ball and have something to tell us.

I just saw a report of the Pentagons Able Danger investigation and after further review I notice that they are saying only the FBI was not given the intelligence info. That verifies that the CIA certainly did know of the al-queda cell in the U.S. and did nothing to prevent 9-11.

So now what, how do we deal with an administration and an entire intelligence agency that is against the freedom of America? Tall order to take on thats for sure.

  48. Chris says:

she was outed over purely politics, it had nothing to do with 9/11 per se,but with the Iraq war(if you can seperate the 2 unlike conservatives). she was outed to punish Joe Wilson for telling the truth on Iraq.its that simple and disgusting.they outed a CIA agent to get revenge against her husband. disgusting.as far as the CIA being a part of it, i dont know about that, the higher ups in the CIA that call the shots, maybe, but the typical CIA agent in the field HATES Bush for outing her. she is like family to them, and it just as easily could have been them.Bushs own father made the comment that outing a CIA agent is the actions of the most insedious of traitors.Bushs dad ran the CIA so i take him for his word on that statement, and only that statement.oh, and when he talked about the “new world order” im sure he meant that as well.every neo-cons dream.

  49. Susan says:

Well, I’m glad to know that some members of the CIA are really here to protect us.

I understood that Valerie was outed as a part of the “fixing of intelligence” but what you are saying is that there are high level CIA officials eg. George Tenent that ALLOWED the 9-11 attacks. Is that what your saying that a portion of the CIA is dirty?

I’m convinced the Pentagon was instrumental in allowing the 9-11 attacks but I’m still “thinking” the CIA connection.

What you say about Bush Sr. doesn’t hold water with me because I dont trust him any more than I do his criminal son.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate all you have.

  50. Chris says:

yes, Al-Qaeda could NEVER have done 9/11 without the help and oversight of some factions of the CIA.thats what im saying.they literally lived doors down from Atta in florida.they were tracking at least 8 of the hijackers and knew where they were and who they were prior to 9/11. i urge you to search the internet for EVERYTHING you can read about 9/11, put all the facts into context and make your own desicions as to what happened.and you dont have to trust Bush Sr to know that what he said about a “new world order” is absolutely true, your seeing it sprout before our eyes right now.the CIA has always been the governments gang. they do all the dirty work. there are MANY good CIA agents that work for the agency, but many of the most powerful in the CIA work for the PNAC agenda, which is how 9/11 was allowed to happen.

I don’t trust GHW Bush any more than GW either. This was brought home to me again recently when Poppy was interviewed on TV and claimed memory loss for so many incidents of the past, except when it came to bashing Democrats (Kerry, Clinton, Gore etc.)

  54. David B says:

I’ve read several posts recently about Cheney’s plan to attack Iran after the next US-terrorist attack. This is like waiting to watching a train wreck happen. Is there anything that can be done or is it too late because events have already begun to happen?

  55. Susan says:

I’d like to know more about Cheney’s plan too. Chris, can you help us?

  56. Chris says:

go on google and type in PNAC-the project for a new american century.read all of their documents, look at how the noe-cons were salivating for a puppet like Bush they could control and allow horrible things like 9/11 and Iraq happen.Cheney has indeed written up contingency plans on attacking Iran after the next “9/11 style attack”. as far as stopping it, thats impossible with a complicit media. all you can do is open peoples eyes to who is running our country and what they are doing. the key with most people is getting them to realize how much the media hides from them.without the internet, we would have never known half the stuff we know, case in point Cheneys plans for Iran.Paul Wolfowitz, who is a part of PNAC once famously said something along the lines of-”the only way we could put into place our plans for the middle east is if we have a new pearl harbor.” that new pearl harbor was 9/11, but as we can see right now, Iraq is a mess, and PNAC and Cheney are gonna NEED another “terror” attack to get adeqaute support for an attack on Iran. look for it within a year or 2.the writing is on the wall, just like it was for 9/11. Susan, inform yourself fully about 4 things:the media and how bullshit it is and how consolodated it is, 9/11,PNAC(and other neoconservatives like them),and peak oil.peak oil is among the main motivations for 9/11,which was a PNAC type plan and idea(with the help of some muslims with CIA ties).the media has ZERO interest in telling any of us this.look at who owns them.you’ll see.

  57. Susan says:

Hey, I believe you Chris. I looked at the PNAC website and gathered that this organization is full of freaks.

I also understand that without the internet we would be clueless.

Today, speaking on Israeli radio Bushie says that attacking Iran is definately an option for him.

We cant give this admin another year to apply their plans, they must be impeached.

  58. Chris says:

yeah, full of freaks that currently run our government and have great influence over other governments.scary.yeah, i heard Bush talk about “all options are on the table”. sounds kind of like the same crap he said about Iraq huh?
