Thus far, the media coverage of the outing of Valerie Plame has focused on a few central figures, most of all Karl Rove. But the evidence that has come to light to date suggests involvement by numerous Bush officials at all levels across multiple departments.
Think Progress has created a comprehensive database cataloguing the connections of 21 administration officials to the outing of an undercover CIA agent. It will be updated regularly to reflect news developments on the case and will serve as a reference for anyone looking for the most up to date information on the investigation.
Here is what ABC’s The Note has to say about it:
In an age when the general public would be shocked at the degree to which major news organizations are wholly dependent on interest groups for their research, this one will get some Gang of 500 bookmarking.
Check it out and spread the word.
Very nice, Judd. This thread will break some records. My greatest fear is that Grand Jury will decline major indictments for fear that it is just too big, and therefore would hurt national security.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:04 amHere let me post for the right wing so we can get it over with.
you poor losers there is nothing to see here. why do you keep talking about this.
did that just about get it right?
August 12th, 2005 at 10:06 am#2-
August 12th, 2005 at 10:09 amWell, almost–except for the poor grammar, lack of punctuation, and blinding inaccuracy.
doh sorry I think I also forgot a snide comment about how stupid liberals are.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:14 amI think you got it just right Krazny.
Oh, perhaps you forgot one thing: you’re a bunch of liberal liars.
Gee, it’s fun to impersonate a neocon.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:14 amIt will be an INTeresting autumn in the Nation’s Capitol! I predict Powell will fold and start to spill his guts on this pack of numbnuts. All this BS has GOT to stop! Another prediction: watch the left make big gains in 2006…
August 12th, 2005 at 10:19 amAt least we haven’t had ned calling us nazi’s. I wonder if he finally got the boot.
On topic…When are we gonna see the perp walk? I want to videotape that one.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:21 amIndictments are on the way folks. This obscene house of cards is comming down.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:21 amI did suggest that ned should be booted. Mostly because he had abandonded debate a long time ago. would have been nice yesterday during cowgirls posts to have some shrill right winger screwing up her thesis though.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:25 amThesis? We don’t need no stinking thesis!
August 12th, 2005 at 10:28 am;)
a thing of beauty, I love the pics.
Can photoshop put them all in day-glo orange at the appropriate time?
August 12th, 2005 at 10:29 amNice work!
I particularly liked the sentence about junior retaining a personal attorney for the ‘interview’ with Fitzgerald. Squirm you bastard.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:35 amAs for Judith Miller, the jail bird who won’t chirp, it has been revealed that she worked closely with Republican operatives and has a lengthy track record of writing articles from the perspective of the right.
Those who blur the lines between calling themselves reporters and who, on the other hand, overtly champion one political party while denigrating the other in their reporting, are not reporters at all. Moreover, these so called reporters have no right to claim protection behind the mantra of protecting their “sources”. They are simply well placed mouth pieces for a political agenda.
The media in the United States has been politicized to the point where it no longer provides a service, but is, for the most part, a giant spin machine. Fox “news” is a case in point. Wake up America.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:41 amThis is the first time since Dubya’s…ahem….”re-election” that I can honestly say things are looking and feeling a whole lot better. Even if Fitzgerald gets spooked and fails to indict anybody, the cover has been blown off this can of worms and many true conservatives (not the phony ideologues with no conscience but that greedy little voice on their shoulders) are fed up with this criminal enterprise.
Thank you Cindy Sheehan.
Thank you Joe Wilson.
Thank you John Conyers, Maxine Waters and Barbara Boxer.
Thank you Al Franken, Randi Rhodes and Ed Schultz.
Thank you Larry Johnson and Ray McGovern.
Thank you Bev Harris and John Bonifaz.
Without all of them we wouldn’t stand a chance of reviving this democracy.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:43 amI dreamt last night that a group of men were building a modern replica gallows from the civil war era. It looked like it had at least 25 nooses tied and ready to go.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:47 amAnd to add to Jay’s list, thanks to Google and Lexis Nexis. Thanks to them, all these scattered news reports can be “data-mined” into one big fat INDICTMENT.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:53 amMichael Moore is fat and Al Franken steals monry from poor kids. The least he could do is cook Michael Moore. He could feed a village of idiots, like my red state home town for a month.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:17 amCard reminds me of Alf.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:18 amRepublican Patriot – Open mouth, insert foot. Typical.
“The least he could do is cook Michael Moore. He could feed a village of idiots, like my red state home town for a month. ”
So, you’re saying your town is a bunch of blood-thirsty cannibals? sheesh!
August 12th, 2005 at 11:22 amThis is impressive work, Judd. I have felt all along that this story was not just a witch hunt by the left but that there was some dirty dealing going on. I feel even more that way now. I am serious about this.
If it turns out that any of these people has broken the law they should get put in jail. No public is above the law.
See, sometimes us conservatives can agree with you guys!
August 12th, 2005 at 11:25 amoops, should have type “public official”
August 12th, 2005 at 11:26 amThese days I have so little faith in the political system. The Dems failed to fight the stolen elections in 2000 and again in 2004. I am looking forward to being proven wrong concerning BushCo’s Teflon coating.
TBR news over the past year or so has hinted at a possible military coup. It looks like one may (and I stress may) have been in the works. If Mr.Teflon Man and his band of Merry Henchmen aren’t rounded up soon, perhaps the US will see its first military coup?
I am hoping that the political system works. I would rather not see our military have to install someone sane just to bring things back from the brink of everlasting disaster.
For what little good it does us currently, the world laughs at the ReichWingNuts and Disciples of BushCo.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:33 amI don’t have anything against true conservatives, that believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights and Love God, Country and Family BEFORE Government.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:33 amnot really sure why republican patriot considers a sad micheal moore, al franken smear to be valid on this thread.
Back on topic:
I am not going to hold my breath that they will all end up in jail but it would be nice.

JC, just so you know, TBRNews is The Barnes Review, an anti-semitic, revisionist history, holocaust denial and misinformation front. Nothing you read there is worth spreading around. Some little flicks of truth jumbled up with bullshit and rumor and anti-semitic anti-Israeli disinformation and propaganda. I am neutral on the issue, as much pro-Palestinian as I am pro-Israeli, not pro-Zionist. There is a KOS post that has all the info and if I can dig up the link, I will. But take it from me, TBRNews is bullshit of the worst kind.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:44 amWhen handling a trained monkey, one thing you should always keep in mind: even trained monkeys are not always house broken.
It is a typical trait of monkeys to throw their waste. Duck boys in DC.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:46 amAnybody notice how slow this site is this morning? Methinks a lot of people are looking at this database.

August 12th, 2005 at 11:48 amEarlier someone suggested that Powell would be the one to spill all the beans as an insider in this adminstration. It would go a long way towards redeeming him as a human being, but does naybody honestly think he’s prepared to sing when it surely would land him in jail for life after the war crimes tribunal? I think it would take someone that far up the foodchain to bring the entire house of cards down….but we’re getting closer :)
August 12th, 2005 at 11:48 amThe slowness is more likely due to something else, like a DOS attack from the right.
August 12th, 2005 at 11:49 am#19 no he is saying his town is a bunch of idiots read the post carefully.
lol
August 12th, 2005 at 12:02 pmI think the protest the mothers of fallen soldiers are holding in Crawford plus the march on the White House on September 24th will put BushCo on the ropes in preparation for the conclusion of the Grand Jury’s Oct. deadline.
This country is finally fighting back and Fitzgerald will have no choice but to listen to the people.

August 12th, 2005 at 12:06 pmI higly doubt it is a DDOS attack. It wouldn’t take much completely shut down a site, if the DDOS attack is done correctly.

Powell will NOT sing. He said a long time ago that he wouldn’t run for public office because he didn’t want to expose his family to that process. This shows him to be a family oriented guy. Now considering that the modus operandii of the Right now seems to be to smear and attack the targets family, Powell will not risk it. He will continue to show that he has had his spine ripped out by the roots by the NeoCons. Sad comment on this ex-great man.
I similarly am cynical on the Democrats in 2006. They have shown no coherent plan, no shred of spine to stand up to the current regime. The bushites have provided an ample and target rich environment, yet the Dems seem totaly incapable of finding the mark. It’s almost as if after getting kicked in the jimmy in 00 and 04 they have just decided to curl up in a fetal position and suck their thumbs. It’s disgusting. I sincerely hope you are correct, but I’m not holding my breath. I would love to see the Repubs lose control of the Senate or House in the midterms. I just don’t think it will happen.
August 12th, 2005 at 12:14 pm“Michael Moore is fat and Al Franken steals monry from poor kids. The least he could do is cook Michael Moore. He could feed a village of idiots, like my red state home town for a month.”
That’s too funny. He did call his home town a “village of idiots.”
Hah ah ah hahahha ahhahaha

August 12th, 2005 at 12:21 pmWhat Did Bush Know and When Did He Know It?
So, what they’re saying is that if Rove directly lied to Bush, he could be in big trouble. But if he just gave a wink, wink, nudge, nudge, or if Bush stuck his fingers in his ears and laughed while saying “I don’t want to know Turd Blossom,” the Ro…
August 12th, 2005 at 12:40 pmWhat about John Bolton? Weren’t he and little Judy Miller close?
August 12th, 2005 at 1:03 pmThanx! Now, could someone put together a list of the know media folks who are also involved?
August 12th, 2005 at 1:06 pmI higly doubt it is a DDOS attack. It wouldn’t take much completely shut down a site, if the DDOS attack is done correctly.
Something must be going on. It’s taking two or three tries just to bring up the site.
I wonder if it’s a coincidence that the usual wingnuts aren’t posting here today?
Besides, those NeoCon morons only know how to manipulate the press, not PCs.
Well, some of them know how to manipulate PCs, or they wouldn’t have managed to steal Ohio.
August 12th, 2005 at 1:10 pmThanks for the hat tip Krazny… and in response to William R’s question about Bolton and Miller’s closeness, they may have been close, but Judy was much closer to chief Warrant Officer Richard Gonzales- the leader of the WMD hunting unit that Judy was embedded with in Iraq.
August 12th, 2005 at 1:31 pmI wonder if Richard will come visit Judy for a conjugal visit since her husband is too busy taking a cruise?
What is wrong with this site?
August 12th, 2005 at 2:14 pmNot able to bring up this site all day. I am on now and unable to comment. test
August 12th, 2005 at 2:32 pmOverall this is an impressive display of information. Hopefully it will help the Gang of 500 keep their eyes on the ball.
I have two minor quibbles, however. One, you refer to Valerie Plame throughout. In fact, she goes by Valerie Wilson and has done so since her marriage. It’s important, particularly when you refer to documentary evidence like the State Department memo, that you refer to her precisely as the document refers to her. As I understand it, the State Department memo uses the name Valerie Wilson. Correct me if I am wrong. Two, you refer to Ari Fleischer talking to Robert Novak on the phone as per phone records. As you know, Fleischer has stated that he received a phone message but did not return the call. What the truth is, I don’t know, but without some qualification, stating the Fleischer did in fact talk to Novak is not supported by the evidence as we know it today. Once again, correct me if I’m wrong.
I mention these two examples only because I admire what you are doing and don’t want you to set yourself up for the Matt Drudge’s of this world.
August 12th, 2005 at 2:59 pmSite seems to be fine, there is a disclaimer at the head when I logged in saying it was slow, but it’s no slower than usual now.
August 12th, 2005 at 3:04 pmI think we’re just getting a lot of attention!
Download the data and pass it on to all your contacts!
Let’s send the link to all the newspapers too!
The trained monkey was in on it from the get go. He and Cheeney probably cooked up the idea with rover and libby. It was a ploy smoke and mirrors to hide their lies.
Why do you think the FIRST thing the monkeyboy did was to classify all the documents of past presidents until 50 years after their deaths? Well:
Bay of Pigs
JFK
Watergate (rover was here with some of todays names too)
Iran Contra (some of the names today were here too)
Clinton witch hunt(s) (backed by gop wing nuts)
9/11 attacks and the lies attached
Bin Laden family – Bush Family – Carlyle Group
shrub the smarter – Bin Laden – CIA – Training
2000 stolen election
2004 stolen election
I am sure there is much more.
Bottom line, 21 is STILL not the magic number of people that have violated the law in this (uh) selected administration.
August 12th, 2005 at 3:08 pmA complete coillection of the essential PlameGate briefings, articles, statutes, timelines and other key resources is available in the Rove Scandal Document Center.
August 12th, 2005 at 3:22 pmUm, Dan Bartlett is really handsome. Seriously.
That doesn’t mean, however, that the thought of him doing a 10-15 stretch in Levenworth (sp.?) doesn’t make me warm and fuzzy inside. Oh no…..
August 12th, 2005 at 3:24 pmThe basis for my long-standing belief that it was our criminally-facilitated President who leaked the name of an honorable professional (Plame) to a dishonorable one (Novak) is twofold. Do you recall when he called candidate Kerry one night on his cell-phone? Who does that, but a lonely drunk? This signals a behavioral pattern. Then when the story first surfaced, his comment was that he didn’t think the leaker could ever be found. This signaled to me the confidence of one who is guilty, but believes he is immune.
August 12th, 2005 at 3:24 pmThey all put the CON in NeoCon.
The criminals running the government will eventually be caught and punished.
I suggest public stoning. Repuglicans love the Dark Ages.
August 12th, 2005 at 4:05 pmYou left out David Corn.
August 12th, 2005 at 4:20 pmI can’t help but to think bush and his cronies are going to get away with everything they’ve done… I sure hope I’m wrong.
August 12th, 2005 at 4:35 pm#14, you are right to thank those who are instrumental: I may be tardy, but I also thank them.
August 12th, 2005 at 4:52 pmA couple of comments have been made that the Dems don’t have a plan, spine, so on. You worry about the 06 elections.
I would vote for a spineless, unmotivated democrat before I’d even think of voting for a republican.
Whats the problem? Wouldn’t you rather have someone leading the country that doesn’t have the guts to lie and think they will get away with it? Wouldn’t you rather have leaders who are too spineless to attack innocent people?
Wouldn’t you rather have leaders who do nothing rather than leaders who destroy the constitution?
Think about it, I’d rather have a government that does nothing than a government that destroys the constitution and kills innocent people any day.
August 12th, 2005 at 5:00 pmThank you for the hard work; makes it a lot easier to follow with a score card (us dopey liberals need all the help we can get).
August 12th, 2005 at 5:05 pmThanks Progress for this organized list of likely criminals. This must be the reason your site was having problems earlier. This info was also mentioned in the “Note” the daily political newsletter from ABC. This may finally be the story that pulls these White House mafioso down.
August 12th, 2005 at 5:07 pmAll the previous stories, all the lies, all the memorized talking points delivered by the toadies, all the deception and misrepresentation, all the slime and slander, the shell game of Rove’s White House, all the dead, all the costs, all the losses are being joined now by this national story of a bereaved woman in Texas being dissed by Bush and this coherent summary of connecting the dots in the treasonous case of political skulduggery and this may be the start of the end of BushCo. The greatest satisfaction would be if they were all exposed and humiliated by the undeniable truth before they are all marched off to federal prison. We have never had a president sent to prison before — this could be an historical first. I hope I and the rest of us are not disappointed.
Blogging for the Masses
Friday edition of the 5:30 Report with Doug Krile features the usual roundup of blogs, including info about Tyson Foods (based in Arkansas) and more about Cindy Sheehan.
August 12th, 2005 at 5:08 pmSusan #57
Yes, I think the Dems are spineless. The went limp over the obvious BS “go to war in Iraq” and did nothing. They got rolled over on the 00 and 04 elections, and did nothing. They let Kerry get kicked around by a bunch of asshole liers (notso Swift boat vets) and did nothing.
What is worse? Someone who pisses on the constitution? or someone who just stands by and watches it happen and does nothing to prevent it? It’s like they are characters in that old parable about “when they came for xxx, I did nothing because I wasn’t xxx”.
I won’t vote for NeoCons, but I’m beginging to really have serious doubts about the Dems ability to do ANYTHING other than be doormats for the Repubes. I wouldn’t vote Repub, but I might vote Indy. The problem is that it’s almost the same as voting for a Repube. It’s a hard call, and one that I suspect a lot of Centrist folks are going to have to make in Nov 06 unless the Dems get off their fat asses.
August 12th, 2005 at 5:22 pmA GOP CORRUPTION QUINTET!!!
Whoooh, dawgie! The Republicans sure outdid themselves today. Not one, not two, not three or four, but FIVE marvelous examples of GOP malfeasance in Friday’s newspaper. Them Rove lovers are sure busy corruptin’ stuff these days, yessirree…
HEADLINE: CONSPIRACY CHARGES IN GOP VOTER FRAUD CASE
“The RNC has already spent $720,000 in legal expenses for the president’s 2004 campaign chairman relating to four felony charges…the RNC official is charged with conspiring to thwart Democrats from voting in New Hampshire.”
HEADLINE: KEY FIGURE IN DELAY PROBE IS INDICTED
“Jack Abramoff, a prominent Republican lobbyist and donor, is accused of using a counterfeit wire transfer to get financing…Abramoff is known for his close political and financial ties to Majority Leader Tom DeLay…for years DeLay blocked legislation which was strongly opposed by Abramoff’s clients.”
HEADLINE: FEC FINDS IMPROPER USE OF FUNDS BY DELAY COMMITTEE
“…The political committee founded by DeLay is said to have improperly spent $203,000 in unregulated “soft moneyâ€? on Republican get-out-the-vote and fundraising activities…The FEC audit also found that DeLay’s committee failed to report more than $300,000 in debts.â€?
HEADLINE: OHIO GOVERNOR MAY FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES
“Ohio Republican Governor Bob Taft may face criminal charges over his failure to disclose numerous golfing excursions accepted as gifts from supporters…â€?
HEADLINE: TABLOID’S DEAL WITH WOMAN SHIELDED SCHWARZENEGGER
“Just days after Schwarzenegger jumped into the race for the California governorship, a tabloid publisher wooing him for a multi-million dollar business deal paid a woman $20,000 to sign a confidentiality agreement about an alleged affair she had with the candidate.”
There go the Republicans, struttin’ down the street, showin’ off their pride. Funny thing is, they’re walking in the gutter, joyfully sloshin’ through the mud. I guess that’s just their nature…
August 12th, 2005 at 5:36 pmit would be interesting to apply some of the social network graphical tools to this information.

or the tools ibm touts for finding unlikely connections of information
August 12th, 2005 at 5:38 pm#61 The dems did not sit around doing nothing to defend the constitution. THATS ALL THEY HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE BUSHIE TOOK OFFICE!
They have spent every moment trying to undo what BushCo is doing to destroy this country.
That was Bushie’s plan afterall, keep them so busy fighting Supreme Court nominees, Bolton, Rove, voter fraud and so on and so on.
When have the dems had the time to work on domestic issues?
Giving up on the Dems is a vote for a neocon.
August 12th, 2005 at 6:23 pmYer gonna need a preeety big towel to clean up after this wet-dream. I think all you libs have just slipped into the realm of comedy. I know I’m laughin’!
August 12th, 2005 at 6:40 pmThe ‘L’ List, or the ‘T’ List
Think Progress has an in depth list of all involved in the Rove/Plame ‘L’eak.
August 12th, 2005 at 7:05 pmI call it ‘T’reason.
21 Administration Officials Involved In Plame Leak
The cast of administration characters with known connections to the outing …
What? Me worry? This will all be swept under the rug just like the other investigations. Who knows there might just be another 9/11 in the planning so Bush can strut his stuff and talk tuff again about terrorists and stuff. Treason ain’t nothing not after the overthrow of the government in 2000. What can really top that?
August 12th, 2005 at 7:13 pmGreat work! I’m especially enamored of the photo of GWBush holding the teeny flag, looking like he’s about to cry because his big sister has a bigger flag.
August 12th, 2005 at 7:14 pmA pearl necklace on Monica, funny, get out the towels .Treason and perjury, not so funny, towels won’t do the job when they sh*t their pants. Get out the pooper scooper, and the hose.
August 12th, 2005 at 7:24 pmso many pinhead, jackboot licking, dittoheads – so little time.
The fact is, you love those criminals. You love slavishly tonging the presidential exit sphincter. You like murder. You revel in torture and war. You are beyond my comtempt.
It is YOU that hate us for our freedom. You hate yourselves. You hate everyone. You are slaves and you want us to become slaves too. I despise you. You will be routed out.
Go fellate your Presidente and his minions. They like it. Just ask Jeff.
August 12th, 2005 at 7:42 pm#65 Zammer, I’m glad you think that treason is so funny. You must be one of the criminals listed and enjoy getting it up the ass.
You are a pathetic moron to condone the behavior of this administration. If you want to support these criminals then get your loose ass to Iraq and do your patriotic duty.
I’m sick and tired of you chickenhawks laughing at the destruction of America. You are a disgrace and should be deported.
If you do the right thing and sacrifice your life to the quagmire in Iraq I will forgive you.
August 12th, 2005 at 7:43 pmWhere is Bolton’s name? I think HE is the source that Judith Miller is protecting. She is in pretty thick with this administration, and the State Dept.
Who better than Bolton to leak the name of a CIA agent. The State Dept monitors all the PASSPORTS etc.
I’m not saying Bolton leaked her name to the press, but he COULD have given it to Rove to start the smear campaign against Joe Wilson.
August 12th, 2005 at 8:27 pmWhen will we hold these treasonous bastards accountable..? Cindy Sheehan has started a movement….will we follow through or will we shrivel up and die as so many of our Democratic leaders have…? I want justice…I want this vermin in prison..(GIT-MO, preferably) They have destroyed our country, our credibility, our liberty, our finances…if they did not orchestrate 9/11 they sure as hell knew, and LET it happen, for power, for greed, for their anti-democratic form of government… I will not vote for any Republican or Democrate who insists we must stay in Iraq….we are a peaceful nation…we do not condone pre-emptive attacks on innocent countries…..they broke it and they want us to pay to fix it…I say F**K OFF
August 12th, 2005 at 9:33 pmThey wanted to invade Iraq, because Saddam was going to start trading in Euros instead of Dollars, and was going to start “flooding” the market with oil..(bringing the price down) the oilmen of Texas could not let that happen….and the neo-cons just want to “rule the world” what a perfect marriage of insane ideals…money, blood and control..(LBJ was a Texas oilman, so are the Bushes..(and most the Republican Congress and House are connected in some way to either oilor arms for sale,….its not hard to figure out when you do some research)
Quotes from the chickenhawk treasonous:
VERBATIM QUOTES FROM WHEN CLINTON WAS COMMITTING TROOPS TO BOSNIA:
“You can support the troops but not the president.”
–Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)
“Well, I just think it’s a bad idea. What’s going to happen is they’re going to be over there for 10, 15, maybe 20 years.”
–Joe Scarborough (R-FL)
“Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?”
–Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99
“[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation’s armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy.”
–Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA)
“American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy.”
–Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)
“If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy.”
–Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W Bush
“I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning . . I didn’t think we had done enough in the diplomatic area.”
–Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)
“I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our over-extended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today”
–Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)
“Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is.”
–Governor George W. Bush (R-TX)
Ten Hut! Chicken Hawks on board! NO salute…
Just post these quotes continually and most if not all pro-war (occupation) will Sputter and die, or at the least… go away.
From ground zero in Iraq- Tim and the gang

With Mrs. Sheehan on the steps at Versailles, Americans are quickly rallying to her cause (or against it.) Her message is clear, she wants answers and wants them now. It is unlikely that she will receive her answer. For, if she were to receive her long deserved reparations, the entire administration would be forced to uncover many truths to all of us, which is obviously an impossibility as it would cause the institutional and political demise of a large and powerful constituency; one that reaches the very nexus of the conservative political structure.
What we must realize is that Mrs. Sheehan has placed this administration in an inescapable situation. As each day passes, more and more people want answers. The answers they demand go beyond a moral issue of his “noble cause.” They encroach on every tangible action that this President, his administration, and his party have taken. It is only a matter of time before we, in the greater public and of all parties, demand our representative government to investigate current issues and revisit past investigations, overturning every stone to discover any criminal acts, however great or small. It is an unavoidable problem for this administration and they are fully aware of it.
The second element of the “last throes” of this administration is the subdued, but not buried investigation into the Valerie Plame leak. Mr. Fitzgerald will return his case very soon. I am confident that there will be indictments, and they will reach high places, possibly the President himself.
And so, the end is drawing nearer as each moment passes. It is a factual inevitability. There is no single entity within the American structure that is immune to the rule of law. Mathematically, it is like a bell curve. There are statistical periods of success; but eventually, there will be a decay of the event until it ultimately reaches its collapse, thus beginning a new cycle.
Adversely, let us suppose for a moment that this opinion proves wrong. Suppose that Mrs. Sheehan is answered and satisfied with her answer. Suppose Mr. Fitzgerald returns no indictments. Suppose the House and Senate resist the request by their voters to investigate into perjuries and illegal deceit to their committees and bring no charges nor petitions for impeachment. Where will the President be? Will he claim victory? Will he be an effective leader? The answer is most assuredly no.
The President has lost already. There will be no act or measure for the duration of his Presidency that will be free of scrutiny or opposition. Both sides know this. For example, the President was sure to sign both the energy and transportation bill as quickly as he possibly could. Further, he has recess appointed the most contentious man ever to step foot into the United Nations since Khruschev. He may hold the office, but he is finished and everyone knows it.
Mr. Mehlman knows it. He has decided to ignore any current concerns on his GOP website, opting to fill his headlines with “in case you missed it,” slants on members of the Democratic party. Further, he is more than likely busy pondering how he can justify his organization’s decision to pay over $722,000 to help James Tobin’s legal woes.
All of the above is swiftly binding up into a snowball that will lead to a great avalanche. As we can see, they are caught completely unprepared for it. Their only method is to scramble and adhere to the same tactics of murk and unbearable repetition that has brought them this far. Unfortunately, it is too late. Consequence is unavoidable. Reality cannot be ignored for more than just a little while.
So, where does that leave all of us? What plans should we draw? The Democratic Party has been criticized relentlessly for “having no message.” Might I suggest that our message be to reverse every possible policy of this “dying king?” We must not wait to begin collecting our spoils. For, they are the very spoils that have been pillaged from us over the past six years. Let us all fight from this day forward to explore a universal and successful withdrawal from Iraq. Let us diligently pursue criminal indictments for all whom have served to perpetuate the lies that had placed these noble men and women there in the first place. Let us repeal the USA PATRIOT ACT and take the time to explore a beneficial plan that does not rob us of our civil rights (nor has to be distributed in the middle of the night to avoid debate.) Let us recapture our individual stake in our political structure. Let us prosecute all whom have taken action to defraud us from our vote.
Rest assured, my friends. The end is near for this President. Let us be ready.

August 12th, 2005 at 10:02 pmI’m with you Andrew. I was taught that the truth always comes out and right now the truth is drowning the administration.
I love your optimism. Applause, Applause.
Its time for action.
Cindy Sheehan has acted and deserves our support.
Ramsey Clark at votetoimpeach.org has taken action and deserves our support.
Patrick Fitzgerald has taken action and deserves our support.
Fight the good fight everybody, every minute, every day!
August 12th, 2005 at 10:21 pmThanks! I truly believe that we are on the verge of a great transition. I am hopeful that our leaders in the Democratic Party begin and continue to directly reflect our voices and capture our message.
Although there is no utopia, we must strive for a dignified nation, which will get us closer to it.
God bless!
August 12th, 2005 at 10:30 pmGreat Reference. I’ve posted a reference on Whiggate Update because of all the WHIGs among this group of potential leakers.
August 12th, 2005 at 10:30 pmI’ll bet there are exactly (at least) 6 more Bush crime family members involved that haven’t been identified yet.
“Genius Al” Yankovic fans will get the above joke. ;-)
August 12th, 2005 at 11:01 pmSo very sweet. Now people have to be able and explain it in simple terms to America. Why does this administration have so much to hide in an openly democratic government? I’m waiting…
August 12th, 2005 at 11:15 pmWhy isn’t Steed here to reply to post #74
He’s in the Drudge topic spewing his nastiness about Cindy Sheehan.

Breathtaking stuff, you all. I am always amazed when I venture into the swamps like this. (And I thought the left went off the deep end in 2002!)
An interesting thing: This rhetoric reminds me of the call to the faithful, the rapture is coming. Are you ready? Amen! Amen, brothers and sisters! We want to BELIEVE!!
I must say that I’m very excited that all this is going into posterity in some Google cache somewhere. Social anthropologists and psychologists will have a field day studying the mental collapse of a political movement, all blogged in their own words!
Thank you, all of you. I hope you somehow can have a not so rough landing when you come back to earth. Good luck, and have a nice day!
August 13th, 2005 at 12:33 amYes, do come back, Duckworthy, once all your Heros are locked away.
August 13th, 2005 at 12:40 amSounds like what happened to Nixon, eh Duckworthy? History does have a tendency to repeat itself. Just how long did that thousand year reich last?
August 13th, 2005 at 3:37 amThe GOP is down to two memes. They go like this…
Amazing then how the party is dominating state legislatures, governors mansions, the House, the Senate, the White House, and is rumored to control the Supreme Court as well.
Yer gonna need a preeety big towel to clean up after this wet-dream. I think all you libs have just slipped into the realm of comedy. I know I’m laughin’!
and this…

This is what the carefully crafted message of the GOP has degenerated into because the truth as it is now does not play well anywhere. And they think they can win future elections with this and few paperless and manipulated blackbox voting machines?
August 13th, 2005 at 3:45 amI forgot one other old fallback.
It’s all Clinton’s fault.
Good luck, GOP!
August 13th, 2005 at 3:47 am“… the carefully crafted message of the GOP…”
LOL *snort*!!! too much!!!

“I’m just an independent nobody…”
Well at least you got that part right.
August 13th, 2005 at 7:26 amMy fear is the Iran Contra scenario. Congress initiates hearings and grants immunity. The hearings are tightly controlled by a Republican lead Congress. The public does not get the full truth, and the prosecution of the key players is completely short-circuited. If this does not happen, it will only be because Congressional leaders fear they cannot control the hearing process adequately to limit the damage to their party — and they cannot afford to have all of this unfolding before the cameras as the election approaches. But I am deeply skeptical that Republicans will ever let this get past the early-indictment stage.
August 13th, 2005 at 8:14 amduckworthy,
Make no mistake about this, you are the deluded, dreaming, mentally handicapped fool. This administration has forced the hand of the Democratic base, the moderates, the centrists and the sane. Their crimes will not stand despite a docile Congressional opposition and a compliant media. The public has awoken and the more reality that takes hold the greater the spread of truth. Here’s the problem for you and your political soulmates: you live in the same bubble that the President does. You don’t pay attention to the reality on the ground or dissenting ideas and opinions and you only understand the portion of the story that suits your ideal. I have news for you, outside of the Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly et al. bubble that encloses your little fantasy world there is a massive shift in public opinion taking place. If you didn’t gather that from your visit here…keep poking around. Your little party is over. The GOP may manage to steal another election, may be able to hold on to their majorities with their redistricting and their lies…..but the will of the people will prevail. Sooner rather than later…..and you will be left wondering how it all happened. I feel sorry for you or anybody that is so detatched from the truth. Living a lie has its consequences.
August 13th, 2005 at 9:15 amIn a few months, when you learn no indictments will be filed, you all are going to throw this whole Cindy-meme down the memory hole as just one more useless cudgel.
One more thing: get help soon!.. prefereably from a licensed professional. It’s gonna be some bad ugly days when you each individually wake up from your collective nightmare and realise “It was all just a dream…â€
I’m sorry for your pain, and sad that you had to put yourselves through this.
First of all, if that happens son, blood will run in the streets, everyone’s blood. Second, your full of shit. Third, we’ll all need help, but you’ll be needing triage.
August 13th, 2005 at 9:36 amI’m quite flattered that you believe my little contribution represents one of the great GOP memes. If only!!!!
I don’t think he gets it.

It all started out with so much bluster, too. after the 2004 rip-off. And look where it’s come to, not even one year into his first year of the second term. He will never complete the full term. Now that they have no political capital to get anything done, they are just filling up there pockets with naked greed. Could it be they know legal defence costs will be high. Nah, they would do that anyway. They are just crooks.

August 13th, 2005 at 10:12 amWith 21 administration officials involved it seems unlikely Fitzgerald can wrap this thing up by the end of October. After all, that’s little more than 2 months out.
August 13th, 2005 at 10:54 amThank you Andrew, well written.
May Cindy’s courage ignite the passion of dissent in more of us, particularly the returning democrats in congress post recess. Fight for freedom and democracy everyday. Liberals will make this country strong and respected again.

I’d take TBR over SPL Center anyday!
August 13th, 2005 at 6:17 pmYou’d take TBR over SPL anyday? Fine. You are a nazi.
August 13th, 2005 at 8:59 pmI think I should first start with TBR News itself. From their website, in the About Us section, the editor calls himself Walter Storch and says that TBR News originally came from the Barnes Review magazine. I have since come to discover, through two sources (one from the CIA and the other from a historical revisionist named Germar Rudolf, that Walter Storch is one of many pseudonyms used by Peter Stahl, a.k.a. Gregory Douglas. So, who is Gregory Douglas?
Well, let’s just say I’ve waded through so many filthy revisionist websites today that I feel almost sick. In essence, it’s all about anti-semitism and the holocost was a hoax shit. Regardless, I plugged my nose, took some gravol, and plowed my way through to find some very interesting information.
It appears Gregory Douglas (or Peter Stahl, or Walter Storch, or ….) is a very elusive character. The following are a few of the things written on him:
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2005/5/4/15748/99064
It was this quote that made me realize that the Voice from the White House that TBR claims to get the information from is actually Stahl/Douglas/Storch himself. Here is a quote from the February 28, 2005 installment, where the “source” says:
Here is the Guckert/Gannon website that sets forth both his fury at being tossed out of the White House like a dog that pissed on the floor and his monumental ego. These following rants sound like something concocted by failed British revisionist, David Irving, who used to put out a pathetic website as well, that informed dozens of people about his daily meals, pets, bowel habits and favorite television programs.
This, along with other things, leads me to believe that Stahl/Douglas/Storch is actually writing these things himself. There is no “source” in the White House sending e-mails to TBR News. This whacko is making it up as he goes along. Why? God only knows….
Finally, his connection to Willis Carto, owner of the Barnes Review, an extreme right wing hate-type site, is not in dispute either. Although his association to Carto seems to be exclusively through the pseudonym Gregory Douglas. This article fron the Southern Poverty Law Center really says it all: ever wonder where the theory came from that Bush knew about 911 ahead of time? Well, here you go. A real group of crackers here.
In the end, it worries me that this twerp is getting in there on the Gannon story. I would caution anyone who is seriously interested in the Gannon investigation to COMPLETELY AVOID citing anything from TBR or the so-called “Voice From the White House”. There is nothing that will discredit the Gannon story quicker than having these people invlolved.
Thank you….

Please keep my identity a secret. Double super Secret. I could call in and have my voice disguised or and my face blocked out. Please call me or send me an email if you plan to use this. Thanks. I am a Rove-ing reporter leaking a fictional copy of the Grand Jury testimony of Robert Novak. Now posted at:
http://novaksayswholeakedfirst.blogspot.com/
Novak: Well Fitzgerald, You know Carl Rove, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff (of the United States) [COSTUS]. The media gave me a job as Journalist for as long as I want. How much will COSTUS cost us?
Fitzgerald: Look Novak, if you’re a journalist, you must know all the players.
Novak: I certainly do.
Fitzgerald: Well you know I’ve never met the guys. You are under oath so you’ll have to tell me their names, and then I’ll know who’s involved in the leaking of a CIA officer’s name.
Novak: Oh, I’ll tell you their names, but you know it seems to me they give the players now-a-days very peculiar names.
Fitzgerald: You mean funny names?
Novak: Strange names, pet names…like Deep Throat…
Fitzgerald: His brother Daffy.
Novak: Daffy Throat…
Fitzgerald: And their French cousin.
Novak: French?
Fitzgerald: Goofè.
Novak: Goofè Throat. Well, let’s see, we have on the list, Who leaked the name of a CIA officer first, What leaked it second, I Don’t Know leaked it third…
Fitzgerald: That’s what I want to find out.
Novak: I say Who leaked first, What leaked second, I Don’t Know leaked third.
Fitzgerald: Are you a government employee?
Novak: Yes.
Fitzgerald: You gonna be a political consultant too?
Novak: Yes.
Fitzgerald: And you don’t know the fellows’ names?
Novak: Well I should.
Fitzgerald: Well then who leaked first?
Novak: Yes.
Fitzgerald: I mean the fellow’s name.
Novak: Who.
Fitzgerald: The guy who leaked first.
Novak: Who.
Fitzgerald: The first leaker.
Novak: Who.
Fitzgerald: The guy who leaked first…
Novak: Who leaked on first!
Fitzgerald: I’m asking YOU who leaked first.
Novak: That’s the man’s name.
Fitzgerald: That’s whose name?
Novak: Yes.
Fitzgerald: Well go ahead and tell me.
Novak: That’s it.
Fitzgerald: That’s who?
Novak: Yes.
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: Look, you gotta first leaker?
Novak: Certainly.
Fitzgerald: Who leaked first?
Novak: That’s right.
Fitzgerald: When you talk about the first leak, who gets the credit?
Novak: Every bit of it.
Fitzgerald: All I’m trying to find out is the fellow’s name on who leaked first.
Novak: Who.
Fitzgerald: The guy that gets…
Novak: That’s it.
Fitzgerald: Who gets the credit…
Novak: He does, every bit. Sometimes his wife acknowledges it.
Fitzgerald: Whose wife?
Novak: Yes.
PAUSE
Novak: What’s wrong with that?
Fitzgerald: Look, all I wanna know is when you refer to the first leaker, how does say his name?
Novak: Who.
Fitzgerald: The guy.
Novak: Who.
Fitzgerald: How does he say…
Novak: That’s how he says it.
Fitzgerald: Who?
Novak: Yes.
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: All I’m trying to find out is what’s the guy’s name who leaked first.
Novak: No. What leaked second and confirmed what who said.
Fitzgerald: I’m not asking you who leaked second.
Novak: Who leaked first.
Fitzgerald: One source at a time!
Novak: Well, don’t change the leakers around.
Fitzgerald: I’m not changing nobody!
Novak: Take it easy, buddy.
Fitzgerald: I’m only asking you, who’s the guy who leaked first?
Novak: That’s right.
Fitzgerald: Ok.
Novak: All right.
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: What’s the guy’s name who leaked first?
Novak: No. What is leaked second.
Fitzgerald: I’m not asking you who leaked second.
Novak: Who leaked first.
Fitzgerald: I don’t know.
Novak: He leaked third, we’re not talking about him.
Fitzgerald: Now how did I get the name of who leaked third?
Novak: Why you mentioned his name.
Fitzgerald: If I mentioned the third leaker’s name, who did I say leaked third?
Novak: No. Who leaked first.
Fitzgerald: What leaked first?
Novak: What leaked second.
Fitzgerald: I don’t know.
Novak: He leaked third.
Fitzgerald: There I go, back to the third again!
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: Would you just stay the third leak and don’t go off it.
Novak: All right, what do you want to know?
Fitzgerald: Now who is responsible for the third leak?
Novak: Why do you insist on connecting Who with the third leak?
Fitzgerald: What am I connecting to third.
Novak: No. What is connected to the second leak.
Fitzgerald: You don’t want who implicated in the second leak?
Novak: Who is implicated in the first.
Fitzgerald: I don’t know.
Novak & Fitzgerald Together: Third leak!
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: Look, you got a staff?
Novak: Sure.
Fitzgerald: The senior staffer’s name?
Novak: Why.
Fitzgerald: I just thought I’d ask you.
Novak: Well, I just thought I’d tell ya.
Fitzgerald: Then tell me whose is the senior staffer.
Novak: Who leaked first.
Fitzgerald: I’m not… stay out of the office! I want to know what’s the guy’s name in who is the senior staffer?
Novak: No, What leaked second.
Fitzgerald: I’m not asking you who leaked second.
Novak: Who leaked first!
Fitzgerald: I don’t know.
Novak & Fitzgerald Together: Third leak!
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: The senior staffer’s name?
Novak: Why.
Fitzgerald: Because!
Novak: Oh, he’s the junior staffer.
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: Look, You gotta Whistle Blower on this team?
Novak: Sure.
Fitzgerald: The Whistle Blower’s name?
Novak: Tomorrow.
Fitzgerald: You don’t want to tell me today?
Novak: I’m telling you now.
Fitzgerald: Then go ahead.
Novak: Tomorrow!
Fitzgerald: What time?
Novak: What time what?
Fitzgerald: What time tomorrow are you gonna tell me who’s blowing the whistle?
Novak: Now listen. Who is not blowing the whistle.
Fitzgerald: I’ll break your arm, you say who leaked first! I want to know what’s the whistle blower’s name?
Novak: What leaked second.
Fitzgerald: I don’t know.
Novak & Fitzgerald Together: Third leak!
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: Gotta an attorney?
Novak: Certainly.
Fitzgerald: The attorney’s name?
Novak: Today.
Fitzgerald: Today, and tomorrow’s the whistle blower.
Novak: Now you’ve got it.
Fitzgerald: All we got is a couple of days on the team.
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: You know I’m an attorney too.
Novak: So they tell me.
Fitzgerald: I get behind the desk to do some fancy investigating, Tomorrow’s blowing the whistle on my team and a heavy hitter gets up. Now the heavy hitter punts. When he punts, me, being a good attorney, I’m gonna connect the guy to the first leak. So I pick up the questioning with who?
Novak: Now that’s the first thing you’ve said right.
Fitzgerald: I don’t even know what I’m talking about!
PAUSE
Novak: That’s all you have to do.
Fitzgerald: Is to pick up the questioning with the first leaker.
Novak: Yes!
Fitzgerald: Now who’s got it?
Novak: Naturally.
PAUSE
Fitzgerald: Look, if I question the first leaker, somebody’s gotta go next. Now who is it?
Novak: Naturally.
Fitzgerald: Who?
Novak: Naturally.
Fitzgerald: Naturally?
Novak: Naturally.
Fitzgerald: So I pick up the questioning with Naturally.
Novak: No you don’t, you question Who.
Fitzgerald: Naturally.
Novak: That’s different.
Fitzgerald: That’s what I said.
Novak: You’re not saying it…
Fitzgerald: I throw the questioning to Naturally.
Novak: You throw it to Who.
Fitzgerald: Naturally.
Novak: That’s it.
Fitzgerald: That’s what I said!
Novak: You ask me.
Fitzgerald: I direct the questions to who?
Novak: Naturally.
Fitzgerald: Now you ask me.
Novak: I direct the questions to Who?
Fitzgerald: Naturally.
Novak: That’s it.
Fitzgerald: Same as you! Same as YOU! I direct the questions to who. Whoever it is drops the ball and the guy goes to second. Who picks up the questions and throw them to What. What points his finger at I Don’t Know. I Don’t Know blames it on Tomorrow, Triple play. Another guy gets up and pleads the fifth for Because. Why? I don’t know! He’s on third and I don’t give a darn!
Novak: What?
Fitzgerald: I said I don’t give a darn!
Novak: Oh that’s our intern.
Who’s on First by Novak and Fitzgerald
And at the first game, Judith Miller will throw in the first pitch. Ambassador and Mrs. Wilson will sing the National Anthem. Matt Cooper will be selling beer in the bleachers. Novak will be scalping tickets outside the main gate and Rove will get 20% of the door.
Note that leak and leaker have multiple meanings. You could also change this to refer to the testimony of Rove instead of Novak.
Please keep up the good work. We need you now more than ever.

August 14th, 2005 at 12:29 am“…if anyone in this administration was responsible for the leaking of classified information, they would no longer work in this administration.“–Scott McClellan, October 6, 2003
August 14th, 2005 at 12:32 amMore Bush double speak. 1 – violated the law beyond preponderance of evidence or beyond a reasonable doubt, or perhaps some higher standard?
2 – be taken care off. Does that mean a consulting job for the Carlyle Group or Halliburton; perhaps a cushy government pension or a platinum parachute, administrative leave without pay, perhaps selling some property at 10 time its market value? We may never know. Casper Weinberger and Oliver North and Kathryn Harris were all taken care of weren’t they.
Like OJ, they will not be able to convict Rove at the criminal level but what about a civil level. Perhaps Common Cause, the Taxpayer’s Union, and other groups should file a taxpayer lawsuit alleging abuse, misuse, and malfeasance in office of government paid for information. Mr. And Mrs. Wilson should also join a suit to get a conviction under the Hatch Act (engaging in political activities) or Federal Privacy Act laws. It is a crime to violate any citizen’s Privacy by divulging information to groups or individuals without a need to know or without the appropriate clearances. Whenever any agency . . . fails to comply with any other provision of this section, or any rule promulgated thereunder, in such a way as to have an adverse effect on an individual [the individual may bring a civil action].” 5 U.S.C. § 552a(g)(1)(D).
I do not believe that Mr. Rove was a Federal Government employee at the time he talked to Matt Cooper. He was a political consultant. I assume he did not have the need to know in his official capacity and he did not have the clearance to know about Mr. Wilson’s wife. Whoever provided this information to Mr. Rove should also be investigated. This might be a clue about why Rove was made Chief of Staff of the United States (COSTUS). It appears that he and others working with him and perhaps the RNC had access to information protected by the Privacy Act and National Security regulations while Rove was still a political operative. And were his staff, office, and travel expenses paid for by government funds before he became COSTUS. Now that he is COSUS, it might be easy for his lawyer to confuse whether the actions were taken before or after he was appointed. Can NBC get a copy of the oath of Office of COSTUS and post it to their web site? Since he is now Chief of Staff, does the Hatch Act allow him to be involved in political activities? No matter what the final outcome Rove, the COSTUS, will COST US in the long run. Costs including deaths in Iraq, high gas prices, expenses for lawsuits, and the slow weakening of Freedom of the Press. Which is already on life support. Don’t let them pull the plug on you.
As Daniel Schorr explained in his comments on NPR’s ALL Things Considered on 7/13/05:
…the real issue in the Karl Rove controversy is not a leak, but a war, and how America was misled into that war.
Moreover, the real question is not whether Mr. Rove or anyone at the White House has violated any specific laws; they have betrayed our trust by not answering truthfully when the question of Roves’ involvement was originally posed to them. They could have explained then that Rove made a reference to Mr. Wilson’s wife but did not violate any laws. If it walks like a cover-up, talks like a cover-up, and smells like a cover-up, the American public will assume it is a cover-up.
Finally, a similar civil suit might be in line for the Vice-President. What does his oath of office say? It appears that he may also have violated provisions of the Hatch Act and Privacy Act laws. He has assumed powers well beyond his official duties as VP and had access to information protected by the above laws without the official need to know. Please post his Oath and Position Description.

Thanks for all of your kind (and not so kind words about my post.)

There is no conspiracy nor crafting on my end; however, I am flattered that you find my remarks “breathtaking.” This was my first visit to this “swamp.” I’ll be sure to revisit soon.
Lastly, I am impressed with most of the debate that I have read on this topic. I’m new to blogging, but I have seen some garbage. And, brother, this ain’t garbage!
Thanks, Everyone.
August 14th, 2005 at 12:41 pmPlamegate is not a catchey name. I have found a re-framing as “Traitors gate” seems to get people’s attention in the right direction. FYI, Traitor’s gate is the ancient name for the entry to the Tower of London traditionally used when imprisoning enemies of the crown.

August 14th, 2005 at 5:34 pmHas anyone seen some of the reports about Judith Miller going on assignment in several countries as a “journalist”, while the real journalists have to find their own accomodations in ratty places, Miss Priss gets to stay in the personal homes (palaces) of VIPS.
She does not travel with the real journalists, she instead has personal drivers and escorts. The article I found made it seem like the “escorts” were SS, I mean seceret service.
I found this on the net somewhere, and still haven’t found it again. Help.

What are your views on Farenheit 911?
How do you feel about Civil Rights?
How do you feel about the shrub family’s support of Hitler during the 1930-1940’s?
Bet you don’t have a comment you spinless a-holes.
August 15th, 2005 at 3:56 amDOES ANYONE FIND IT ODD THAT:
shrub family supported, and financed the rise of hitler in the 1930’s and 40’s.
shrub family and friends had their financial assets frozen in october 1942 for violation of trading with the enemy act.
shrub family (#41) was appointed to the CIA in the 50’s, and recruited and trained terriorists to take out castro.
When that failed they magically appeared (the recruits) in dallas in 1963? and we ALL KNOW THE COVER UP THAT FOLLOWED.
That on of the FIRST things shrub (the dumber) did was to classify ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SEATED AND PAST PRESIDENTS until 50 YEARS AFTER THEIR DEATHS.
That #41 was involved with the Iran Contra affair, and was instrumental in the pardons that followed.
That Rover was involved with dirty politics before and after the 2000 election scandals.
That ROBERTS WAS INVOLVED WITH THE IRAN CONTRA AFFAIR AND COVERUP??????
That Rover is responsible for the current TREASON INVESTIGATION????
40 years plus and the same ass holes are involved in the illegal war, torture and deaths of innocent people……
THE CLUE PHONE IS RINGING, AND IT IS FOR THE U S A.
August 15th, 2005 at 4:26 amP.S.: I PERSONALLY WILL CELEBRATE WHEN ALL THE SHRUBS ARE DEAD FOR 50 YEARS, AND WE CAN CLEARLY SEE ALL THEIR DIRTY DEALINGS, AND ILLEGAL ACTIONS!!!!!
I would be celebrating even 49 years, 364 days before the declassification of the documents of their hatred and intolerance!!!!!!!!!!

August 15th, 2005 at 5:12 amIn the entire history of steel frame high-rise buildings, only three have collapsed due to fire.
All three collapsed on one day – September 11, 2001
Larry Silverstein owned all three.
In the documentary “America Rebuilds”, aired September 2002, Silverstein makes the following statement;
“I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, ‘We’ve had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.’ And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse.”
What do you suppose he meant by “Pull it

August 15th, 2005 at 8:54 amothers in the Bush camp. This information should give Democrats a wonderful opportunity to go on the offensive, but once again from what I am seeing it is only John Conyers(already involved in revealing election fraud) and a FEW others who are pursuing this, therefore as a blogger it will be my responsibility to spread the word. Movement on this issue is going to come from bottom to top and not vice-versa.
See the reports that a number of administration officials have been indicted, but the indictments are sealed due to their sensitivity. For example, go to “Federal Whistle Blower Claims Chicago Grand Jury Indicted Bush And Others For Perjury and Obstruction Of Justice; U.S. Attorney’s Office Says ‘No Comment,’ Refusing To Confirm Or Deny Alleged Indictments” at http://www.arcticbeacon.citymaker.com/articles/article/1518131/30722.htm. August 16th, 2005 at 12:47 amElection Fraud Continues in the US
New Data Shows Widespread Vote Manipulations in 2004
By Peter Phillips
In the fall of 2001, after an eight-month review of 175,000 Florida ballots never counted in the 2000 election, an analysis by the National Opinion Research Center confirmed that Al Gore actually won Florida and should have been President. However, coverage of this report was only a small blip in the corporate media as a much bigger story dominated the news after September 11, 2001.
New research compiled by Dr. Dennis Loo with the University of Cal Poly Pomona now shows that extensive manipulation of non-paper-trail voting machines occurred in several states during the 2004 election.
The facts are as follows:
In 2004 Bush far exceeded the 85% of registered Florida Republican votes that he got in 2000, receiving more than 100% of the registered Republican votes in 47 out of 67 Florida counties, 200% of registered Republicans in 15 counties, and over 300% of registered Republicans in 4 counties. Bush managed these remarkable outcomes despite the fact that his share of the crossover votes by registered Democrats in Florida did not increase over 2000, and he lost ground among registered Independents, dropping 15 points. We also know that Bush “won” Ohio by 51-48%, but statewide results were not matched by the court-supervised hand count of the 147,400 absentee and provisional ballots in which Kerry received 54.46% of the vote. In Cuyahoga County, Ohio the number of recorded votes was more than 93,000 greater than the number of registered voters.
More importantly national exit polls showed Kerry winning in 2004. However, It was only in precincts where there were no paper trails on the voting machines that the exit polls ended up being different from the final count. According to Dr. Steve Freeman, a statistician at the University of Pennsylvania, the odds are 250 million to one that the exit polls were wrong by chance. In fact, where the exit polls disagreed with the computerized outcomes the results always favored Bush – another statistical impossibility. .
Dennis Loo writes, “A team at the University of California at Berkeley, headed by sociology professor Michael Hout, found a highly suspicious pattern in which Bush received 260,000 more votes in those Florida precincts that used electronic voting machines than past voting patterns would indicate compared to those precincts that used optical scan read votes where past voting patterns held.”
There is now strong statistical evidence of widespread voting machine manipulation occurring in US elections since 2000. Coverage of the fraud has been reported in independent media and various websites. The information is not secret. But it certainly seems to be a taboo subject for the US corporate media.
Black Box Voting reported on March 9, 2005 that voting machines used by over 30 million voters were easily hacked by relatively unsophisticated programs and audits of the computers would not show the changes. It is very possible that a small team of hackers could have manipulated the 2004 and earlier elections in various locations throughout the United States. Irregularities in the vote counts certainly indicate that something beyond chance occurrences has been happening in recent elections.
That a special interest group might try to cheat on an election in the United States is nothing new. Historians tell us how local political machines from both major parties have in the past used methods of double counting, ballot box stuffing, poll taxes and registration manipulation to affect elections. In the computer age, however, election fraud can occur externally without local precinct administrators having any awareness of the manipulations – and the fraud can be extensive enough to change the outcome of an entire national election.
There is little doubt key Democrats know that votes in 2004 and earlier elections were stolen. The fact that few in Congress are complaining about fraud is an indication of the totality to which both parties accept the status quo of a money based elections system. Neither party wants to further undermine public confidence in the American “democratic” process (over 80 millions eligible voters refused to vote in 2004). Instead we will likely see the quiet passing of legislation that will correct the most blatant problems. Future elections in the US will continue as an equal opportunity for both parties to maintain a national democratic charade in which money counts more than truth.
Peter Phillips is a Professor of Sociology at Sonoma State University and Director of Project Censored. Dennis Loo’s report “No Paper Trail Left Behind: the Theft of the 2004 Presidential Election,” can be viewed at http://www.projectcensored.org/newsflash/voter_fraud.html
What about John Bolton? Does he have ties to Judy Miller?
August 17th, 2005 at 1:51 amYES HE DOES!
that is the million dollar question…
It seems that miss priss does not have to travel with REAL JOURNALISTS.
SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO make plans for her lodging like the real journalists…. she stays in the private homes and palaces of VIPS….
That would explain why she only reports thing that are FAVORABLE to edgar burgen and charlie mccarthy.
when miller cracks… THE WHOLE HOUSE OF CARDS FALLS…
I LOOK FORWARD TO IT.
August 17th, 2005 at 3:39 amEver notice that EVERYONE associated with the shrub administration has a questionable past?
Ever notice that the shrub family had it’s banking and all financial asset siezed by the U.S. Government for violation of the trading with the enemy act in October 1942?

August 17th, 2005 at 3:49 amExcellent summary of the possible perps.
Of the 21 on the list, I think we can totally rule out Gonzales, Matalin and Buchan. They’re the only three that have been straightforward with the public so far. I also think it’s highly unlikely it’d be Powell given how much out of step he was with the rest of the Cabinet during the first term. That leaves 17.
If Fitzgerald is doing his job properly, he has nothing to fear. And the Grand Jury will issue indictments because that’s one of the few rights they have in the District, since Congress treats them as second-class citizens (no voting reps in either House).
As for the possibility that GWB may want to try to short circuit the investigation, I think he knows better than that. No President can get away with another Saturday Night Massacre. If Dubya tries a stunt like that, even many diehard Repubs will demand he resign because it’ll be proof he knows something about this he isn’t saying.
August 17th, 2005 at 12:12 pmGWB (Grand Wanker Boy) will never give up the WH without a fight. You saw how he fought for it in 2000. He simply does not have the class to step down gracefully. I expect a scene like the warden in shawshank redemption. If that happens, I sure want to see it!
August 17th, 2005 at 1:52 pmGWB is the Bill O-LIE-lly with connections.
August 17th, 2005 at 1:54 pmTake a look at the layout of Air Force One here:

Imagine a binder with information regarding Joseph Wilson and his wife being circulated, and the excited, gossipy strategizing that is most likely taking place on this plane about how to best get back at Wilson. Now imagine the President not being privy to this converation…
Interesting, isn’t it?
August 19th, 2005 at 2:15 pmHave you heard that the BBC planted a bomb in Chicago under Fitzgerald? Have you heard that some CIA agents died because of the leak? Have you heard that 50% of the military wants to coup? Keep us informed! Thanks.

August 27th, 2005 at 9:22 pmAmazing how many radical right wing nuts will follow Bush and his henchmen. Kinda reminds me of old Adolf!
August 29th, 2005 at 9:32 pmThey followed him into destruction. These neo-cons are doing the same thing with “W”.
Throw them all in jail and throw the key away -these people are a danger to society.
September 20th, 2005 at 12:37 pmWhere’s Bolton”?
September 27th, 2005 at 12:15 amWhy worry! Let’s just hang all the dirty crooks. Maybe we can give Colin Powell a little room ’cause he was a good guy until his niece, Harriet, asked him to change his name to “Tom.”
September 29th, 2005 at 11:06 pmWhere is Boltion? Oh yeah – he visited Miller on his way to the UN. He’s in DEEP.
October 3rd, 2005 at 5:59 pmPlease add him in. It was his assistant, I believe, that sent/wrote the memo to AF1 mentioning the lie that Plame recomended Wilson.
When it comes right down to it, running your pie hole to the world about a CIA agents identity is TREASON !
October 4th, 2005 at 8:03 pmThe A-Hole’s responsible need to go to jail at the very least, shot would be better !!!!!!!!
I keep dreaming of seeing that nit-wit Bush stumble while coming out of Air Force One and do a full gainer down the steps to his next photo Op and snapping his scrawny neck as he meets the apron.
ahaaa, we can dream !!!!!!!!
October 4th, 2005 at 8:13 pmDuring the S24 weekend in DC, I spoke with a woman from Ohio, a Judical law professor and lawyer (her son is on his third tour, one in Afghanistan, two in Iraq, he’s a National Guard). She said that there were at least twenty people at or near the top of the misAdministration that were liable to charges centered around a conspiracy to commit treason. She didn’t name names, thank you for the list, BTW, but she did point out that treason is not pardonable and there is no statute of limitations. The not pardonable part precludes the type of pre-emptive pardons that Poppy Bush used in Iran/Contra/Coca that bought him silence. The no statute of limitations part means we can hunt them down, no matter how far they run, however long it takes. Keep watching for Fitzgerald’s report and the follow-up.

How about send them to Guantanamo? Fitting, no?
October 5th, 2005 at 1:08 amMaybe return the base to Cuba, while we’re at it, give the keys to Fidel with them in it, Shrub, Dick, Rummy, the whole lot, ya?
Another ironic twist; If they stand trial under US law, they face the death penalty, however, if they stood before the World Court, they would not, but Bolton gleefully “un-signed” the Rome document, didn’t he?
Just don’t nobody off any of them extrajudicially. NeoCon Martyrs we don’t need.
Peace

There will likely be NO INDICTMENTS I’m very sorry to say. Bush’s move to put two CRONIES Roberts and this latest nothing will guarantee that even if there WERE, nothing would be done.
If you’re hoping in indictments from FRAUDULENT stories from sources like Tom Flocco, Stew Webb or others… KNOW that they are COINTELPRO FRAUDS and these are likely LIES to keep people from rebelling long enough so Bush SENIOR can prepare the MURDER of most of U.S. with this concocted FLU VIRUS.
Summaries of Webb and Hartwell are here:

#20 Thanks for your comments Concerned Conservative. As one who did not vote for Clinton, then did not vote 2000 (personal reasons) and then voted for Kerry in 2004, I can only say my label is CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICAN, as you and most bloggers sound like. Americans , regardless of labels, simply want our leaders to follow the Constitution and honor their oathes to us, the American constituency, NOT to special interests and cronies and military/industrial complex.
My first warning about Bush and Cheney came in the form of a book “Worse than Watergate” from another concerned conservative, John W Dean. I will be forever grateful to him for opening my eyes regarding the PNAC, Project for a New American Century.

October 13th, 2005 at 1:54 pmGreat list but with one major oversight. John Bolton is the link that provided the Plame info to the white house. Plame was known a month before Powell got on Airforce One. Powell is being used as a scapegoat, again.
October 14th, 2005 at 3:15 pmYou need to include John Bolton, and Frederick Fleitz.
Other than that omission I think you have a very comprehensive list of conspirators.
