Just stop and think about all this for a second or two . . . did the President just admit that for two years he’s lived with the allegation that members of his administration were involved in leaking a CIA officer’s name, of committing, in his words, a crime . . . and “he doesn’t know all the facts?” Either Rove is lying to Bush and/or Bush is lying to all of us. He should have said, “I don’t want to know all the facts.”

For those of you not privileged to have witnessed or understand the most amazing political spy thriller, All The Presidents Men, then you were not able to see an event that will live on forever in our history. I could only ask as a child, why did President Nixon have to resign? After all, it was not an easy thing to talk to a child about, but my parents did, and my father made sure we were very quiet when back then in the seventies when that movie played on the television. It helped me understand what real people whom many admire, and put their total trust unto, can really be.
It told the story, of a break-in at the National Democratic Headquarters in the Watergate Complex. Two reporters from the Washington Post, Bob Woodward, and Carl Berstein were up against the world, so to speak, but kept on pursuing the story, until something gave in. The Money! They followed it, and it led all to the real reason why this was all started. Control, and Power over all that do not agree with your agenda!
So Thirty three years later we have on our laps a real juicy story, that tops even Watergate, and it may take down even more people than the last great one before. The reason is, of course, that this current probe is really not about the leaking of a CIA agent. It is about much more, and more money than you can all imagine here. When Joseph Wilson wrote his op ed piece for the N.Y. Times, it challenged a war rant, and destroyed some very important people, who used the media to claim that it was for certain, those intelligence reports on Saddam were true.
True to the fact, as per their reports about the weapons of mass destruction! Wilson went to the African Nation of Niger, and with all his contacts, and with all his know how, as a former US Ambassador, found that this was not the fact.
There was too much at stake here, and the plan was already set, so when the Wilson opinion was released, heads were going to roll. Did they ever! The White House did some damage control, and in the process, created more damage for themselves, and the lives of many soldiers from our country.
Looking back now at that reaction, one can only wonder, why? As we learned from the Nixon years, being a bit overzealous, can have a negative effect later on down the trail. This is proving to be true today. Something very bad happened when Karl Rove, and company spit on the law that this country has, to protect of defender’s of this land of ours, a great land to be exact!
Wilson’s wife, Valerie Plame, should never have had to endure this kind of Saddam like torture. Killing off one of your own, and in her case, thank God we are only talking about her identity.She will have to live with this for the rest of her life, and so will the members of this current administration, who would like all of us to think, that they stood up to terror, without wanting us to witness the terror they have created in our very own history. This is, what it is, their legacy! They will always be remembered for it, and who, and how many of them pay, is all that is left to be played out now.
With that being said, I believe that all were involved in this horrible action. The President had to know, because that article was attacking him on his stance, and Rove was the man to put out the fire, he played a part in a retaliation against people who challenged his friends at Hispanic Braodcasting, and Univision, by seeking a court action against their merger. These people know how to abuse people here. Also, Vice President Cheney, had the most to lose here, because he had the most to gain, he promised so much business to Haliberton, and he came through, big time! So it would not be a surprise, if after all the laundry here was aired out, we find that it was President Bush who made the real order, or Cheney!
The fact that they are sending in the GOP to talk for them is odd, and the reason being is that next year all the Congress is up for re-election, do you really think they want to be involved with this? This can, and I believe will change the Congress, and could put the Democrats back in the majority again. The fact that they are trying to place the blame on mostly former members of their administration, should cause many people to wonder if they will not try to out someone like Colin Powell. They seem desperate, and they need a fall guy, or gal here, to squash this mess up.
Time Magazine reporter,Matthew Cooper spoke on Meet The Press, and may bring down the whole gang here! If the President knew, and withheld evidence here, then he should be impeached! If this is the way our Commander in Chief wants to be remembered as, then he better give up the people who leaked this, and end this fiasco now, or he will truly be remembered in our history books, as the Commander in Leaks! Then all we have to wait for, is the movie version.
