Whether he is convicted and sentenced or not, he will still be the ventriloquist behind the dummy. Don’t mob bosses still retain control while in federal prison?
Plame and the dems starting legal action after a Organized Crime DOJ is chosen is a little ridiculous and I don’t think any of them will be good at doing their time.
Why is this suprising? These people live inside a small bubble world that only allows affirmation of what they believe. To think elsewise is foolish.
The only way to beat these people is to reach the people who vote them into office. Of course, this will be a hurculean task of monumental proportions.
I would suggest finding messengers who possess charisma, character and lastly and most importantly, undisputable facts.
This administration believes their lies to be true. They have no shame.
Hopefully we have fighters who will take on and challenge the lies.
of COURSE it hasn’t curbed his influence… behind the scenes, he’s being congratulated for doing a terrific job and, based on what he’s there for, he IS doing a terrific job… bush has to be thoroughly delighted… rove hasn’t failed him yet…
Get ready for a push on Tax “Reform” this winter, whether Rove is in jail or not… follow Krugman’s advice:
“Forewarned is forearmed: the real goals of [tax] reform won’t be as advertised, the administration will say things about the current system that aren’t true, and the Treasury Department will function in a purely partisan capacity.”
Amazing. A post about Karl Rove draws almost no comment. Looks like he’s home free on the political front. Now we just have to wait for Fizgerald to drop the other shoe.
Even if Rove goes to jail he will still be just as influential.

August 22nd, 2005 at 4:51 pmCan Rove pardon himself if he gets convicted of obstruction of justice?

August 22nd, 2005 at 6:00 pmI wonder if someone with the initials “KR” was one of the sources?
Do they really have to waste precious trees with this tripe?

August 23rd, 2005 at 12:46 amTreason, lying, and covering-up crime are “noble” in this White House.
