One observer of the scene, who considers himself a conservative, visited Crawford “to understand what was actually happening.”

Here’s what he was told:

“I found a well-funded, well-orchestrated public relations campaign, run by media professionals complete with the highest quality electronic equipment.

“Most of the Sheehan protesters were either professional (paid staff of a public relations group or radical organizations), or were long-time protesters, some admitting to beginning vigils against the government as early as 1965.”

When the talk turned to politics, “they all responded the same way: ?It is America’s fault.’ No matter what the issue, each and every one of them had the same default: Bad things are America’s fault.

“Cindy Sheehan spent most of her time huddled with VIPs in an air-conditioned trailer. When she ventured out it was for a scripted and often televised moment.

“During one conversation I had with her I tried to ask her a pointed question about how much time she would actually be on the bus tour to Washington. (I had discovered she would only be on the tour for two days, and would be away giving speeches during the rest of the trip … and I wondered if she was being paid for these speeches.)

“Her media person grabbed her arm and led her back to the trailer and away from me.

“But a few minutes later, she emerged from the trailer, smiling and performing for the cameras. Like the chicken at the local carnival that plays tic tac toe, she eagerly performs for any microphone.”

* Radi Slavoff, GOP Heritage Council’s executive director, and head of “Bulgarians for Bush.” Slavoff was a member of a Bulgarian fascist group, and he put together an event in Washington honoring Holocaust denier, Austin App.

* Florian Galdau, director of GOP outreach efforts among Romanians, and head of “Romanians for Bush.” Galdau was once an Iron Guard recruiter, and he defended convicted Nazi war criminal Valerian Trifa.

* Nicholas Nazarenko, leader of a Cossack GOP ethnic unit. Nazarenko was an ex-Waffen SS officer.

* Method Balco, GOP activist. Balco organized yearly memorials for a Nazi puppet regime.

* Walter Melianovich, head of the GOP’s Byelorussian unit. Melianovich worked closely with many Nazi groups.

* Bohdan Fedorak, leader of “Ukrainians for Bush.” Fedorak headed a Nazi group involved in anti-Jewish wartime pogroms.

Investigative reporter Christopher Simpson says in BLOWBACK that after World War II, Nazi émigrés were given CIA subsidies to build a far-right-wing power base in the U.S. These Nazis assumed prominent positions in the Republican Party’s “ethnic outreach committees.” Simpson documents the fact that these Nazis did not come to America as individuals but as part of organized groups with fascist political agendas.

The Nazi agenda did not die along with Adolf Hitler. It moved toAmerica (or a part of it did) and joined the far right of the Republican Party. Simpson shows how the State Department and the CIA put high-ranking Nazis on the intelligence payroll “for their expertise in propaganda and psychological warfare,” among other purposes…

Journalist Russ Bellant (OLD NAZIS, THE NEW RIGHT, AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY) shows that Laszlo Pasztor, a convicted Nazi war collaborator, built the Republican émigré network. Pasztor, who served as adviser to Republican Paul Weyrich, belonged to the Hungarian Arrow Cross, a group that helped liquidate Hungary’s Jews. Pasztor was founding chairman of the Republican Heritage Groups Council. Two months before the November 1988 presidential election, a small newspaper, Washington Jewish Week, disclosed that a coalition for the Bush campaign included a number of outspoken Nazis and anti-Semites. The article prompted six leaders of Bush’s coalition to resign.

Maybe this will help you understand why we feel a little distressed at being manipulated by lies into an illegal and immoral war by some zionist intellectuals who have managed to wrest control of our government through three fraudulent national elections and a massive propaganda and disinformation campaign by our Zion friendly corporate owned Goebbels machine called the media.

I personally believe that the people who perpetrated this war and benefited financially from it are traitors, murderers and working to make this nation less secure, less democratic, and less free. They have stolen hundreds of billions dollars from the treasury and have turned us into a rogue nation of terrorists and torturers.

What is so hard for those drinking the Kool-Aid to understand here?

The overwhelming majority of us who are left-leaning or progressive SUPPORT the troops. Our anger and frustration is not directed at them.

They are doing the most difficult job in the world. Many of the young men and women on the ground over there are stuck in this hell, a hell created by the Bush administration. We know the premise for going into Iraq is false. We know that Iraq was not connected to 911. The troops deserve our SUPPORT, it’s the GD administration that we are against.

I support our troops. I don’t support the SOB who sent them there.

How can a group of neo-cons who never served in armed combat carry out this war. The “Commander-in-Chief” can’t even run a business without running it into the ground. Regretably that’s just where this nation will be as a result of his *cough* leadership.

And WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, aren’t the REAL numbers of dead American soliders being reported and talked about? I suppose if you die from injuries sustained in battle but don’t do it on the ground in Iraq, your death doesn’t really count? The message to our soldiers is really this: If you are going to die and for your death to “count” so people back home get upset about it, you had damn well better do it before the wheels of the military transport plan lift off the ground at Bagdhad Airport wisking your body back to a hospital in Germany, else it was all for naught.
