Two points: one, I don’t care about race, gender, political affiliation, or anything else. Competence is what scores points with me. Rice is incompetent.
Second, I think affirmative action is no longer beneficial to our country. It served its purpose, but is being abused now. It needs revised or scrapped entirely. We need to protect people from discrimination, not hand folks jobs based on the color of their skin.
And yes, I’m a social liberal. I’m also fiscally moderate. I don’t affiliate with any particular party, because I’d rather vote for the person who knows what they’re doing than vote along party/ideological lines.
You seem to think that because I disagree with you, that I have to tout the extremist party line of the far-left or, at least, your vision of what that encompasses. I’m sorry to inform you, but that’s an absurd assumption to make.
