  1. Rotwang Says:

    “BEAUTIFUL MIND” ALERT:

Moms Bush says there’s nothing wrong with these shiftless bastards that being washed out of their homes couldn’t help. Why, it’s a step UP for most of these slaggers.

  2. Bob Says:

Gosh, if this is so swell, perhaps she would change places…. I wonder how long she would think it is working if she spent a few months in their place. But, I’m sure her beautiful mind would deal with it very well!

  3. Marie Says:

She is a real piece of work!

  4. cynical ex-hippie Says:

Uh uh. She did not say that. No way. I can believe starting a war on false pretenses, underfunding protection measures and infrastructure, appointing incompetent friends to positions of tremendous responsibility costing thousands of lives, but I cannot believe his mother would look at the results and say that.

No way. Not in the darkest depths of human immorality.

  5. Count DuMonet Says:

Sire, I’ve just received news. The peasants are revolting!

  6. cmw Says:

They are in very comfortable centers now

Her father-in-law said that about Aushwitz too

  7. Ancient Purple Says:

No wonder George W. Bush acts like he does. Breeding will tell.

And a bitch like Barbara Bush would certainly know about breeding.

  8. Brendan O'Maidian Says:

Good ol’ Babs Bush. What a character (slight chuckle, chuckle)…what a disgrace, just like her husband and all of her sons.
One wonders how any man could get into bed with such a wicked, wacky witch. It would seem the only way she could have conceived is through In Vitro, for how could any man, even her unattractive husband get it up for such a person with such an ugly mind, and such an ugly puss? The more one looks her over, the more one has to believe she is, indeed, the mother of the Boys from Brazil.

  9. Paulette Says:

She could have just said what she meant: “there goes the neighborhood!”

  10. Barry Says:

Look at the demographics…… who cares

  11. cmw Says:

The mayor warned that more than $1m (about £540,000) worth of natural gas was leaking into the gulf creating fresh hazards.

  12. cmw Says:

The Chicago Tribune reported that a huge assault ship, the USS Bataan, had been deployed in the Gulf of Mexico when the hurricane struck. Despite the fact it had six operating rooms and 600 hospital beds, and was willing to help, Fema did not use it all week.

  13. Bob Says:

#15… Yes, an information officer erred by saying they were waiting for the president to direct them to take action. Surprise, surprise, it didn’t come…. (Oh the information officer will probably be reassigned to Iraq without body armor….war is hell.)

  14. Marie Says:

I heard the same story on tv in addition to the Tribune story.

  15. Clyde the Ripper Says:

Here is a statement (author unknown) from the beginning of the Hitler Era and has reference to Germany in WWI. I have long compared DUHbya to Adolf but this is just too coincidental given the latest revelation to ignore. “We fought together and defeated the bastard but the bitch that bore him is in heat again.”

  16. Paulette Says:

As I posted elsewhere, it would be poetic justice if the Messiah is black - and poor. Ya never know!

  17. Arlene Golden Says:

We need to refresh ourselves of the words to the old labor song, Solidarity Forever, sung to the tune of the Battle Hymn of the Republic (be sure to read each verse, they are so true!)

    When the union’s inspiration through worker’s blood shall run, There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun;
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one, For the union makes us strong.

Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, For the union makes us strong

Is there aught we hold in common with the greedy
    parasite;
Who would lash us into serfdom and would crush us with his might?
Is there anything left to us but to organize and fight? For the union makes us strong

Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, For the union makes us strong

It is we who ploughed the prairies, built the cities where they trade,
    Dug the mines and built the workshops, endless miles of railroad laid;
Now we stand outcast and starving ‘mid the wonders we have made, But the union makes us strong!

Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, For the union makes us strong

All the world that’s owned by idle drones is ours and ours alone
We have laid the wide foundations, built it skyward stone by stone.
It is ours, not to slave in, but to master and to own. While the union makes us strong.

Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, For the union makes us strong

They have taken untold millions that they never toiled to earn,
    But without our brain and muscle not a single wheel will turn;
We can break their haughty power, gain our freedom when we learn; That the union makes us strong!

Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, For the union makes us strong.

In our hands is placed a power greater than their hoarded gold,
    Greater than the might of armies magnified a thousand fold;
We can bring to birth a new world from the ashes of the old, For the union makes us strong.

That the union makes us strong

Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, Solidarity forever, For the union makes us strong.

Time for us to rise up and FIGHT! for our country and our place here.

  18. MrTimPA Says:

#19: But remember, the Messiah (at least in the Jesus frame of reference) was a poor person. As a matter of fact, if you look at history and biblical accounts, Jesus walked among the poor and down-trodden and railed against the wealthy. While I don’t believe in this whole Messiah or savior thing - historically I can accept that there was a Jesus type person who did walk among the poor, preaching peace and love and it pissed off the Roman Empire who had him killed.

Of course, perhaps Jesus was a space alien who was visiting and just dressed for the occasion. In any case, what is clear is that what “religious” baffoons pontificate about now isn’t what Jesus supposedly taught way back then.

(Money and wealth are the core of the “religious” nutballs - witness these mega-churches collecting from their flock - it’s all about greed, and fleecing the flock for their own advancement…)

On topic: Barbara Bush is a “bitch” - people like her just don’t get it. Kissing babies isn’t going to address the severe problem of poverty in this country and her remarks just demonstrate how disconnected she is from reality. It’s just amazing how these “concerned” folks can take a few minutes out - away from their mansions to mingle for a photo-op amongst REAL people.

I feel so sorry for Tent Lott (NOT) - he lost his house (well, one of his homes) - how many people in this country can say I have “homes” - not many. And, while he can probably write a check to rebuild, how many others can’t?

  19. Alma Kesling Says:

The Bush’s seriously do NOT have a clue!

  20. Alma Kesling Says:

I kid you not, I just listened to the audio and threw up. My GOD, we’re in so much trouble!

  21. Steven Souter Says:

Alma - no your not. With Republicans having a firm grip on govt, you’re not in trouble. The only problem is in areas like Louisiana where Democrats are in power. There not up for the job and that’s why we have this mess. This will become more apparent after conservatives point this out in a debate. The MSM will be exposed.

  22. Rotwang Says:

That’s a lovely dream, Steven. Sleep tight!

  23. Paulette Says:

#24 - Classic Rove - when all else fails, blame it on the liberal media - like Shepard Smith and Geraldo Rivera. I guess pictures lie, but the powers that be always tell the truth. And I guess we enjoyed peace and prosperity during the Clinton years because why?

  24. Paulette Says:

#21 - Very well said, and I wish these so called Christians would really follow the teachings of Jesus. Dream on, right?

  25. Dumb Fox Says:

#24 - Bush is in power. That’s what is troubling. His inclination to appoint dopes to important federal positions is deeply troubling.

The head of FEMA was literally unable to put on a horse-show without running into legal problems. And Bush trusted this guy with preparing responses to Katrina-style natural disasters and terrorist attacks.

Oh, sorry, my mistake. I thought for a moment Bush appointed suitably qualified people to top jobs. Of course, he just appoints fixers and friends. And rubes like you think he’s acting in the best interests of the country.

You’ve been duped, pal. You and millions of other suckers who bought Dubya’s cheap talk. But now’s the time to stop throwing good money after bad. It’s helping no-one.

  26. Jay Says:

    Steven,

How many more people have to die or be killed before you realize that Republicans are about waging war, stealing tax dollars and funneling them into “rebuilding” (to the tune of over $200bn in Iraq)……oh forget it, your just an idiot.

  27. Rotwang Says:

Dubya once vowed to “export death and destruction to the four corners of the earth.” Obviously, he wasn’t exempting OUR particular corner. Boy means what he says.

  28. Ron Says:

She was very polite when she make the quip, so, I can’t really fault her for pulling her foot out of her mouth first.

“I can’t help it if the guy (Bush I) married his mother.”- Richard Lewis

I’ll forgive them all for not knowing what they do.

    Now, that’s compassion.

Jesus and his band of disciples were not poor. They had plenty of money on hand all of the time. Paupers they were not. Judas Iscariot was the treasurer.

  29. Leatherneck Says:

Steven (#24), you are so full of crap your breath stinks.

  30. Keith H. Says:

    Unbelievable.
Sept. 24 you son of a bitches, we’re coming.

  31. Marie Says:

Our Congressman have an opportunity to stand up now and declare that the emperor has no clothes. If they don’t have the spine to do so, they wil hear it loud and clear on 9/24.
BTW, any talk from Rumsfeld and his pro-war rally scheduled for Sunday? Is he cancelling it?

  32. Hank Says:

I wonder how many displaced families the Bush families are going to take in? Barbar’s mansion I am sure can hold several. And Laura can put one or two up in the extra bedrooms at Crawford. Lets not forget Tom DeLay, as he lives pretty well and also has lots of room but plenty of $ to help out.

After all, I just think that those that are more well to do should not only tell us what we should do, but step up and set the example. Show the rest of us how to open our hearts and be charitable.

I have a question: Are those photo-ops to New Orleans by the Bushes and their entrourage being paid for with precious FEMA and taxpayer funds or is that coming out of their own pockets?

  33. Ron Says:

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”—Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

Obviously, he is getting the job done. His mother is giving him all the help he needs.

Like I have said here before, George Bush will be his own undoing.

  34. Chairman Says:

I have chosen NOT to have a photo op or media event in connection with this tragedy.

But I want to the American people to know that on this Labor Day I directing all of the institutions that I can influence to help deal with the crisis.

    1. With Bill Clinton’s help we are asking regular working Americans to pay for the costs of this disaster.

    2. We will continue to cut taxes so that those with money can spend it and give everyone else jobs taking care of lawns, building yachts, cleaning buildings and so on. This will help keep the economy moving.

    3. I will be taking all possible steps to make sure this tragedy does not have any adverse affects on the ability of our nation’s wealthy to make profits.

As Ayn Rand and I have always believed, the salvation of our people is through greed and more greed.

“..it is precisely the “greed” of the businessman or, more appropriately, his profit-seeking, which is the unexcelled protector of the comsumer.” “[The Assault On Integrity,” Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal, page 118. Alan Greenspan]

  36. progressive and proud Says:

When Bush has no ideas left, he brings in a pro - Clinton. And, of course, daddy again. Barbara Bush should go down to the Astrodome “Regency Inn” and volunteer.

  37. Jay Says:

Loathsome aristocrats all of these Bush scumbags. May they spend their remaining days in the hell that they have so cavalierly bestowed upon their least fortunate subjects.

    I hate Republicans.

  38. wisedup Says:

#32…SIMPER FI…next Babs will say “Let them eat cake”

  39. Ron Says:

wise up, wiseup, it’s Semper Fi. geesh

  40. Pablo in Mexico Says:

Barbara Bush, for years and years now, hass been one of the most frustrated woman in Amerika. All of her married life her husband was cheating on her with his secretaries, his neighbors, his associates wives and daughters.

That was back in the days when no one reported such dalliances.

Mrs. Bush is an alcoholic old crone beaten down by years of sertitude to her aristocrat husband, and she is one bitter woman. The woman has a sharp tongue, and uses it. Her IQ is not much more than heer sons 91. Her father-in-law and her husband are Nazi sympathizers and she took up the banner and mores herself years ago. They donated heavily to the Nazi causes back in the 30s.

    She is one deluded bitch.

  41. Ohioan Says:

Lieutenant Commander Sean Kelly, US Northern Command
    BBC World News interview, 9/3/05:

“We had the USS Baton sailing almost behind the hurricane so that after the hurricane made landfall it’s search and rescue helicopters would be available almost immediately. So we had things ready. The only caveat is, we have to wait until the President authorizes us to do so. The laws of the United States say that the military can’t just act in this fashion, we have to WAIT FOR THE PRESIDENT TO GIVE US PERMISSION.”

Perhaps at a later time when it’s more appropriate, I will say Article 3 Dereliction of Duty, President Bush resignation is in order…

  42. Zookeeper Says:

Mama B & her baby — Stupid is as stupid does.

  43. Albert Says:

See Kristof’s piece in today’s NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/06/opinion/06kristof.html?hp). The fact that people are better off in shelters is an indictment of this administration’s policies that have been driving more and more people into poverty. The next time Bush drives by en route to one of his Potemkin town halls chant “Baby killer!” at the motorcade:

“The national infant mortality rate has risen under Mr. Bush for the first time since 1958. The U.S. ranks 43rd in the world in infant mortality, according to the C.I.A.’s World Factbook; if we could reach the level of Singapore, ranked No. 1, we would save 18,900 children’s lives each year.

So in some ways the poor children evacuated from New Orleans are the lucky ones because they may now get checkups and vaccinations. But nationally, 29 percent of children had no health insurance at some point in the last 12 months, and many get neither checkups nor vaccinations.”

  44. Ron Says:

vaccinating for chicken pox is stupid, Albert. You want your children to have chicken pox. It provides life long immunity and women won’t have to fear German measles during pregnancy.

    Vaccinations are linked to autism.

  45. WaltTheMan Says:

    Re: 47
And the lack of vaccinations causes death - ust a matter of priorites.

  46. WaltTheMan Says:

    Re: 48
    ust should be just.
Also, Chicken Pox is caused by the Varicella virus which hqs a different genetic footprint then the Rubella virus (German Measles).

  47. progressive and proud Says:

History will give W just what he deserves.

  48. WaltTheMan Says:

    Re: 50
Unfortunately, the rest of us and perhaps the world will be snared in the web that he weaves.

  49. Ron Says:

my bad, wtm, I was wrong. everybody makes mistakes.

  50. David B Says:

What a detached bitch. Why would anyone interview this old crone anyway? She has always been irrelevent and still is. Babs, go find your rock and crawl back to the dark side.

  51. Sharon Cox Says:

In all my viewing for over a week missed mamma B’s showing. Good thing too, I would have blown up my T.V. Great posts here from all. May I add one tiny little thing, genetics. Now we are seeing what dominate and recessive genes can do.Or not. To much inbreeding or ( line breeding ) if you are rich, causes this problem. Nature has it’s own way of selection, the strongest survive. What we are seeing here is recessives that can reproduce. Sadly we are stuck, temporarely, with a genetic throw back like grandpa. Mentioned in another post Barb kept the wrong thing when gw was born. What nature would have done in this case of the bush genetic problem we must now do. That is remove from office and shun to extinction….Blessings

  52. Marie Says:

#50 “History will give W what he deserves.”
I am sure you are right, but meanwhile, how many will suffer and die in the present?

  53. TAC Says:

BUSH LOVES NICKNAMES. DO YOU THINK WE CAN MAKE THESE STICK IF WE USE THEM ENOUGH?

    1. NEW ORLEAN’S new name: LAKE GEORGE
    2. KATRINA relocation centers, with a nod to Herbert Hoover: BUSHVILLES
    3. DICK CHENEY, who supported slashing flood control funds and refused to leave his Wyoming vacation once the deluge began: DICK BAN DIKE
    4. MICHAEL BROWN, FEMA Chief, an incompetent Bush crony who was previously fired from his gig at a horse owners’ association: BRONCO BROWN, MISMASTER OF DISASTER
    5. MICHAEL CHERTOFF, Homeland Security Chief: MISLEADING MIKE, THE HOMELAND HUCKSTER
    6. CONDI RICE, preoccupied with a thousand-dollar shoe buying spree in Manhattan during the crisis: IMELDA RICE or NO SHOES, NO SERVICE
    7. The act of reflexively defending Bush: BUSH FLUFFING
    8. Those who engage in same: BUSH FLUFFERS
    9. When Bush hallucinates about “mandates” or “political capital”: FLUFFY BUSH MOMENTS
    10. Repealing the ESTATE TAX, which is levied only on the richest 1% of estates yet is the GOP’s top priority in this time of crisis: THE PARIS HILTON TAX CUT

ONCE AGAIN, DO YOU THINK WE CAN MAKE THESE NICKNAMES STICK IF WE REPEATEDLY USE THEM?

  54. Jay Says:

TAC, I saw your earlier post on this (cats and dogs:) and I loved it. Good stuff!

  55. Jay Says:

    Especially Dick Ban Dike….LOL!

  56. John Says:

BB is just revealing a bit of how the Bush’s, and their crowd, speak amongst themselves. Her words, every now and then, pass by her internal speech sensors and this is what you get; her real feelings.
Maybe she could donate a few of her matronly dresses, as they might provide shelter to a family of 6 as a tent.

  57. David B Says:

Babs, go bake some cookies for the twins. Stay in the kitchen and bedroom like all good republican biatches.

  58. wisedup Says:

    Ron…I stand corrected…SEMPER FI…
    wisedup…spelling challanged.

  59. John Says:

That is how momm eduducaded his Son… with a strong Family values.

  60. Ron Says:

sorry, wisedup, it was a typo and not intentional.

  61. Linda Says:

The Bush dynasty is truly a painful one. I can proudly say I have never voted for a Bush. We need a new party, one for the working folks - working and middle class. Then we can finally run the country after all we are the majority of voters. The Republicans can’t see past the end of their own nose and the Democrats let my deadbeat healthly ex get disability so I have to support my two children alone. The moochers vs. the aristocrats…yuck…neither party works…

  62. Linda Says:

It is not a typo, I heard the words come out of her mouth too, it’s recorded.

  63. Marie Says:

At his mother’s knee — we see where Bush learned his social skills in compassion and in communicating. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
People who know say George is much more like Mama than Poppy. She raised a few real losers didn’t she — but they all know how to screw people and get what they want.

  64. Clyde the Ripper Says:

I used to say “My Momma only raised one fool and he lives in…(Where ever the sibling of ridicule was at the moment). I guess the Bush family equivalent would be “My Momma raised nothing but fools but Daddy stole enough for us all.”

  65. SpeachlessInSeatle Says:

This is a downright scary crowd!! Lets PAY ATTENTION… she’s Jeb’s mom too…. ya gotta know he’s running next. Heaven help us.

  66. Travis Says:

There’s one member of the Bush family that’s unelectable - she’s too honest! ha ha… Maybe if they stay in Texas the place will have more nightlife and better music… That is, unless you call steakhouses, rodeos, and Rangers’ games ‘culture.’

  67. Shadow Says:

The whole family should be in prison..without a doubt W is ruining the American way of life..A great man once said “there is a special place in hell for those who do nothing during a crisis” wake the F*&K up people..its getting worse..

  68. Sara Says:

I wonder how Ann and Michelle and the rest of the Bush Sluts and the Pigboy in Florida are spinning this one. God help this country.

  69. Beth Says:

    Travis,
Texas has a little more to offer then just what you named, not much but a little more. What kills me is Babs talks about ppl who might adopt Texas as their homestate and how that scares her. Now she knows how I feel everytime her son tells the lie of he is from Texas.Sure we have our own homegrown idiots, all states do. But George is not one of ours, we don’t grow’em that stupid around here.

  70. M. Jupp Says:

Regarding the former first lady’s comments inferring the public largesse bestowed upon the Katrina evacuees: Mrs. Bush might take a moment to reflect that the ‘underprivileged’ inhabitants of Houston and the Astrodome have far more in common with her and her family than she may care to think. After all, the Bush family has received much in the way of accommodation — all on the public purse — for many, many years. Even as she spoke such thoughtless, cruel, yet revealing words, the American tax dollar was hard at work providing her security and accommodation. Mrs. Bush, I appeal to you to retreat within the privileged walls of comfort and safety you enjoy at the expense of the great working citizens of the US and restrict your words of bile to those nearest and dearest to you and not the undeserving victims of Katrina. Have you no shame, Mrs. Bush? Have you no shame at all?

  71. so-called-poor AMERICAN ? or REFUGEE ? Says:

Bitch {barb-UGLY bush}, Man looking beast,
the people who lost their life base are
human beings! Bitch Bush One is Ugly
    sloppy thing.

  72. Scott Says:

Why can the whole Bush clan not be put on a raft and pushed into the Gulf of Mexico with no option to ever return here? It’s better than what they deserve but I wouldn’t want such a monstrous bunch force me into suspending my humanity.

  73. ken Says:

The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.

  74. Jen Says:

she’s one cold hard up woMAN

  75. Aaron W. Says:

My GOD, Barbara Bush is such a cruel, heartless BITCH. I literally spewed chunks when I heard that clip.

  76. Aaron W. Says:

Babs should really put the crack pipe down before talking to the press. UNBELIEVABLE.

  77. Carol Says:

Barbara Bush should be put in,head down, into the dirty waters, of New Orleans and eaten by the next alligator that swims her way. This is a disgusting statement but reflects what she and her family think about people who are less fortunate.

  78. JASON TROTTER Says:

I re-written this a few times, and there is no way I can fit all of the hate and hurt I feel about some of my fellow AMERICANS. To think there are people who believe that ther was NOTHING wrong with the way this was handled, or the comments of the former first lady.
I am ashamed to say that I hope something of this nature happens to him and his immediate family, and the people who feels it’s okay.

  79. Scott Says:

I don’t believe in hell, but in this case it’s a shame; if it exists, George W. will burn in it for the many disgraceful ways he has relinquished his humanity, and his mother will be there to hand him his pitchfork.

  80. Mara Says:

Barbara Bush has finally shown to the world she is as ugly inside as she is outside. I always thought she needed a total face makeover; now I realize that a couple of years on a psychiatric couch would be much more helpful to her. Her comments were reprehensible. These people have lost everything. Where does she think they are going to live and get the money to buy new stuff. Is she going to pay for anything; I bet not. She probably hasn’t donated a dollar yet. And what about the horror they have just experienced. That scare will stay with alot of them forever. She should be done there doing something to help, like Eleanor Roosevelt would have. Barbara Bush is anti-semitic and anti-black. She only cares about her rich friends here and her husband’s and son’s Arab friends. They are selling out America.

  81. Kari Says:

Bar Bush is a hog or what ever female pig is called. She fat, she ugly and she ain’t had no man for long long time. Why else would Gampa bush be nailing that former admbassor and that secretary and god knows who else he’s been porkin. Bar your a hag, even your own children and grands think you are. Climb back in your troff and wallow with your next o kin. An right on to the post about taking her matronly dress an making a few tents to provide shelter, damn you could recover the entire Superdome with her girdle alone better yet use her adult diapers to stop the leakage. maybe they should stuff one in her pie hole to stop the leakage!!!

  82. Joe Says:

    re: 85 - Kari - a female pig is a sow……and yes, Barbara is one! :-)

  83. Kari Says:

Joe, thanks. I should aplogize to all sows cuz she should be so good herself. I just cannot accept her meanness. Why she is so without a heart for those who are kicked down? Its not right.

  84. Aaron W. Says:

Not to change the subject, but did anyone hear the interview when Laura Bush kept referring to the disaster as ‘Hurricane Corina’? She’s so out of touch that she can’t even get the damn name of the hurricane correct! Duhhhh…

  85. charles Says:

Does anyone have an e-mail for Bitch Barbara Bush?

  86. barbara bush Says:

Didn’t any of you hear?!? Barbara Bush is the reincarnation of Hitler’s late mistress, Miss B.J. Allday. George Junior is Hitler’s son. Hitler and George Senior are identical twins, making his father his uncle and vice-versa. Either way, his father, uncle, mother, and the rest of the gang all are relics of hell and need to return quickly. Where is Dick Cheney with his gun when you need him?!?
