Barbara Bush has finally shown to the world she is as ugly inside as she is outside. I always thought she needed a total face makeover; now I realize that a couple of years on a psychiatric couch would be much more helpful to her. Her comments were reprehensible. These people have lost everything. Where does she think they are going to live and get the money to buy new stuff. Is she going to pay for anything; I bet not. She probably hasn’t donated a dollar yet. And what about the horror they have just experienced. That scare will stay with alot of them forever. She should be done there doing something to help, like Eleanor Roosevelt would have. Barbara Bush is anti-semitic and anti-black. She only cares about her rich friends here and her husband’s and son’s Arab friends. They are selling out America.

I re-written this a few times, and there is no way I can fit all of the hate and hurt I feel about some of my fellow AMERICANS. To think there are people who believe that ther was NOTHING wrong with the way this was handled, or the comments of the former first lady.
I am ashamed to say that I hope something of this nature happens to him and his immediate family, and the people who feels it’s okay.

Regarding the former first lady’s comments inferring the public largesse bestowed upon the Katrina evacuees: Mrs. Bush might take a moment to reflect that the ‘underprivileged’ inhabitants of Houston and the Astrodome have far more in common with her and her family than she may care to think. After all, the Bush family has received much in the way of accommodation — all on the public purse — for many, many years. Even as she spoke such thoughtless, cruel, yet revealing words, the American tax dollar was hard at work providing her security and accommodation. Mrs. Bush, I appeal to you to retreat within the privileged walls of comfort and safety you enjoy at the expense of the great working citizens of the US and restrict your words of bile to those nearest and dearest to you and not the undeserving victims of Katrina. Have you no shame, Mrs. Bush? Have you no shame at all?

Texas has a little more to offer then just what you named, not much but a little more. What kills me is Babs talks about ppl who might adopt Texas as their homestate and how that scares her.
