A good question

for John Roberts. UPDATE: That was fast. Apparently, he was just asked and refused to answer.

How about: What’s wrong with your eyes?

  2. Ugh says:

Apparently someone just did, and he declined to comment (prompting SCOTUSBlog to say that that was the first time he thought Roberts was ducking something).

  3. Darth Filibustrous says:

I was thinking why Dems weren’t asking him about Bush v Gore, but I think Sen. Kohl just did. Bush v Gore needs to be extensively probed.

  4. Pablo in Mexico says:

Robertsbeing the egotistic ass that he is, more or less told Biden that he did not have to answer to him, and did not have to answer to the amerikan people. He said he was appointed, not elected, so didnt have to listen to the voters.

  5. Michael "SCREW DUE PROCESS" Luttig says:

Ah! The trick question! Bush v. Gore…
Hmmmmm….I might get a SCOTUS nod after all…

  6. KG Prophet says:

Caught Roberts this morning playing a cute game. He was first asked whether he agreed that Reagan broke the law by defying Congress with the Iran-Contra scandal. He replied he couldn’t say because he hadn’t studied the case, it was to narrow of a question.

He was then asked, in general, does he believe that it is wrong for a President to defy a Congressional order or some other law. He replied that it was too general of a question to answer. Slippery!
