LEAKED: How The Right-Wing Will Spin Tonight’s Speech

ThinkProgress has obtained talking points distributed to right-wing pundits in advance of tonight’s speech by President Bush.

Our favorite:

Many parts of this will be chalked up to the fact it was one of the worst storms our country has ever faced.

So much for “full responsibility.” Check the rest of the talking points here.

    Finally, there is hope
    for the Democratic Party.

  2. progressive and proud says:

Blame it on the rain, eh? Just as bad as when Milli Vanilli did it.

  4. dumbstruck says:

Just had to get in a mention of 9-11, just had to.

  5. cynical ex-hippie says:

No way. Vanilli was the talented one.

  6. Sean Hannity says:

You are either with us as we respond to Katrina, or you are against us.

  7. carsick says:

I loved the no “same-o, same-o” line particularly after he appoints Rove, someone with no reconstructive experience at all and someone who in fact is a political strategist, to be in charge of reconstruction of the Gulf Coast. Of course that’s not the “same-o” as appointing an Arabian Horseowners Organization’s director to run FEMA.

  8. Rev. White says:

Going to cut spending huh? Gee, I can’t imagine that’ll be for anything but programs like education and the environment. I’m sure those programs that *can/should* afford the cuts will be left alone.

You know what’s tough? The Fox News correspondents in NOLA can’t even go out for a latte.

  10. Bob Davis says:

  11. Ugh says:

Why do they need to spin? It’s George’s frickin’ speech.

  12. Amazed says:

Hastert wants us to believe he’s interested in any sort of investigation? Hastert, the bloated bag of pus, who I will remind everyone said about NOLA, “It looks like a lot of that place could be bulldozed.” That’s “conservative compassion” as its finest.

  13. Bush Basher says:

You are either with us as we respond to Katrina, or you are against us.

    Comment by Sean Hannity

We are always against you. You are the enemy that let the “terrists” win.

  14. Susan says:

#12, Just got an email from Dupage Against the War Now (Dawn) about Hastert. Last week Marie joined Cindy Sheehan in front of his office in protest. Hastert had counter protesters. We found out today that Hastert had to bus these protesters in from other precincts. He does not have enough support in his precinct to win another election.

    Cool.

Most important speech of monkey boy’s stellar career. If he doesn’t come off looking chimp like (which seems likely) it will stop the bleeding, which will start the real fun, full attack mode.

If he is chimp like, the rats will be a running for the mooring lines.

We shall see, light incense to the god of justice (and chimpboy god).

Great line. But nothing is reality based until the skels tell us it is so.

  20. spyder says:

Bush is willing to make the tough choices??? Really??? OOohh i get it; he is going to ask us all to sacrifice for a better nation through encouraging our congressional delegations to vote for the elimination of the inherited wealth tax. That’s the tough choice. Oh yeah, he is also going to ask that we give up on health care while supporting subsidies for the energy companies so that they can hire crews at below minimum wage to repair the infrastructure to insure that the children of the board members will inherit even more money to create new what???? Ooh jobs overseas when they build their multi-million dollar estates outside the US.

  21. Susan says:

The reports I see coming in about NO are better than predicted. I’m sure thats because we demanded that the city reopen as soon as possible. I’m sure thats because the victims of the levee breech know that we the people are 100% behind them.

Note the spin will come out of NO only. There is were the charges of negligence come from. Who cares about MS.

Bushie will make it look as if NO cannot survive without Haliburton. We know that NO will do fine without the scumbags.

We are tempted to watch the spin doctors as we always hope that Bushie will drop dead in front of the cameras but do your best to switch to the cartoon network.

    #12 Susan
Thank you so much for the info on the counter protesters of last week. They were so obnoxious, loud and rude. They wouldn’t quiet down when parents of dead soldiers were speaking. Nicely dressed, carefully coiffed women were there with signs promoting “democracy” in Iraq. There was the “token” African-American. I have been in demonstrations before, and in one this small I was surprised at their behavior — your info explains it.
They were the hired contractors — Hastert’s Blackwater.

  25. Marie says:

Who wrote those talking points!? Are they usually so incoherent?
“shirts of their backs spread throughout the country.”
“why it took place and how it took place” referring to the hurricane.
If points are written like his speeches, this is a case of the stupid being led by the dummies.

  26. Hank says:

Let me guess: Bush will be wearing a blue shirt with his sleeves rolled up for tonight’s BS speech to the nation. Got to look like a hard-working, blue collar type of guy, you know.

  27. the spook says:

n Senator Frist and Speaker Hastert have indicated that Congress will conduct a thorough investigation modeled after some of the most serious investigations that Congress has ever undertaken: the 1973 Watergate Committee, the 1987 Iran Contra Committee, the 1994 and 1995 Whitewater Committees and the 1997 Campaign Finance investigation.

Hmmm. What’s different about the investigation the GOP Congress proposes to conduct into the botched Katrina response and those others?

  28. Susan says:

Marie, we were not surprised that Hastert couldn’t muster up any support in his own precinct. Put a fork in the pig, its done.

  29. Marie says:

It won’t be enough to have Bush impeached. He and the administration each should have to stand trial for his/her part in treason, perjury, malfeasance, dereliction of duty, and war crimes.

It won’t be enough to have Bush impeached. He and the administration each should have to stand trial for his/her part in treason, perjury, malfeasance, dereliction of duty, and war crimes.

    Comment by Marie

You really don’t know much about anything do you pumpkin. If that were possible JFK would have been impeached for screwing every broad he could get his hands on. LBJ would be dug up and hung for stealing his election and escalating the war while tying the hands of the military. Jimmah “Peanut” Carter would be examined, determined to be legally retarded and excused for his part in staring the Global Jihad. Bill Clinton…Oh my, let’s talk about Bill. Let’s talk about military secrets, hardware, cutting edge technology he gave to the Red “Shoot the prisoner, sell his liver” Chinese. Not to mention the 60 dead people he’s credited with.

Bush is a bad guy? All I can say is…Marie…you ignorant slut.

Oh, you mean Cindy’s pals? Screw them. Just because they lost a son or daughter doesn’t mean they deserve the respect due a soldiers parent. Not when what they do is designed to get other soldiers of other and better parents killed. I say take them off the coast of Club Gitmo and feed them to the sharks. You too by the way.

  34. Sharon Cox says:

Yep! I agree Marie. Another night of crap on the T.V. Better listen though cause in these speaches rehersed or off the cuff are hidden clues as to their next ajenda. ……Blessings

  35. BriVT says:

What do all those “important investigations” in recent past have in common?

    Opposition control of Congress.

If they slip that past any journalist, that journalist is a dope.

    Uh oh …

  36. Bobby says:

Screwing broads = impeachment according to Reichwingers. A most heinous crime!!
Stealing elections and escalating war while hamstringing the military — sounds familiar in the present.
Retarded has been used more than once to describe the ill-educated,malaprop afflicted GWB.
60 dead — how about 1900 Americans dead.
    Iran-Contra
Military secrets – a debunked tale – but sales of WMD to the dictator Saddam, you’d have to ask Rummy and Reagan.

  37. Terrytheturtle says:

IRI – careful, your misogyny is showing…

  38. Joe Sixpack says:

Hey, Right, #30, I see you are still hanging around trash-talking for the rightwing. Us conservatives have got to stick together here. That cheap shot you took at Marie was pretty good. Some here would say that was a low-down, dirty, chickenshit thing to do, to call her an “ignorant slut” but that’s just tough, huh? Those words reveals character, if you know what I mean.

But tell me if I’m wrong, bringing up LBJ, Carter and Clinton is pretty old shit, isn’t it, even if only half true. Even Sean Vannity and Rush are starting to say “Kerry” or “Hillary” every other breath as a way of bashing the democrats so you have got to get with the rest of us.

By the way, did you ever post your address to call the bluff of that pissed-off Marine who wanted to kick your ass the other day? Just wondering.

  40. Jane E. Schneider says:

I like the way that the eighth talking point mentions a strategy for education (and “heath” care,) and manages to illustrate the need for that education by being the worst-written talking point in the bunch.

  41. Nick Caine says:

    Except Milli had more talent.

    Comment by progressive and proud

It’s a brilliant comparison of George W. Bush and Milli Vanilli.

Both were believed to of been talented in their own chosen fields, (well Bush was after 9/11). Then it was found that they were untalented frauds. They were there to sell a product. But were really just the front men, for their true backers.

Milli Vanilli had the looks and the charisma, to sell records. But they didn’t have the one thing that all singers need to be credible, a singing voice. The record company manipulated them, had somebody else sing on their records. And mimed along to backing tracks, when doing live performances. The record company needed somebody to sell their product. It worked for a while, but they were found out in the end.

Was George W. Bush the accidental President? He had a name that was recognised in the world of politics, (well he had his Daddy’s surname, which was enough). The Bush family and George had the corporate contacts that were needed to bring in the money, to put into Bush’s election war chest. But behind the scenes people were lurking in the shadows. And were controlling everything that Bush did or said in public. Bush may have been the Republican Presidential nominee, or a front man would be more apt. But he was being were controlled all along.

Just like Milli Vanilli who had record executives, controlling everything that they did. So that the perfect persona was portrayed to the record buying public. George W. Bush is no different. He has people in the background, which controls everything that Bush does and says to the American electorate.

George W. Bush has been found out. He needs people to feed him the answers when he debates in public. He is unable to think for himself. Does he have the ability to think for himself? Is George W. Bush really running the country? He’s been caught out miming all along, and he’s been found wanting, by the American public. Bush needs to be put in the bargain basket, where he belongs.

  42. cynical ex-hippie says:

So Jimmy Carter, not Reagan, started and financed the global wahabi jihad to the tune of billions, what an interesting version of history.

  43. Jeff says:

“Hmmm. What’s different about the investigation the GOP Congress proposes to conduct into the botched Katrina response and those others?”

Ooooh! Ooooh! I know this one! What is ‘an investigation not run by the opposition party?’ What do I win, Alex?

Actually, my guess is that it will be about as investigative as the second part of the WMD investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee. That was the one looking into White House misuse of the Iraqi WMD intelligence. The one that Senator Roberts promised to hold before the 2004 election. The one he said wasn’t necessary after the election.

  44. cynical ex-hippie says:

Screw them. Just because they lost a son or daughter doesn’t mean they deserve the respect due a soldiers parent.

If you could get every Republican running for office to make that statement, it would help us out a lot. Thanks.

Not when what they do is designed to get other soldiers of other and better parents killed.

Killed due to lack of armor, for example? Or killed because they’ve been put in the middle of hostile territory with no clear mission, no clear path to victory, and a leader who sees a rapidly receding light at the end of the tunnel?

Or killed on the subway by terrorists trained in Pakistan because we don’t fight them there?

  45. Joe Sixpack says:

Hi, mighty aphrodite, #39. When me and you going to get together and drink some my “pissy beer” as you put it? I really like that stuff. As one redneck conservative to another, I promise not to pass out and piss the bed with you in it, OK? However, make sure you keep those pig knuckles and hard boiled eggs on the bar away from me so I don’t throw up in your lap.

But tell me if I’m wrong, but just when did you and my bud, I-Right-I, become friends? I mean, I kind of feel left out, being both racist and pompous like you two. Does this mean you won’t go out with me?

Funny you should mention that. My high class, in touch with her femininity, materialistic to a fault ex wife introduced me to that word a long time ago. I think she got it out of Cosmo. I was there and very square at the beginning my friend. I can write the book on it and explain in detail why it is just another “made up” word to keep the white, black, red and yellow man down, like homophobic. Of course a little t(w)erp like you just eat that shit up and have no idea from what rectum it emanated. You wouldn’t be “gay” would you?

One of the reasons we win, loser, is that we don’t have a “revised” history. We know what happened and are prepared to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Thus, the re-education camps in the West Texas desert I keep telling you about. I’m pretty sure there’s a bunk with your name on it.

  50. to the right of you says:

    Joe,
Those that don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Since part of our enemy, you and yours are among us, others have unlimited wealth and near unlimited passion to kill us we can leave no stone unturned to seek the correct path to survival. Part of that path is learning, finally, to call nominal Americans, like yourself, traitors and deal with them accordingly. Make no mistake, one of these days I’m afraid we’re going to have to hang you from the nearest lamp post.

By the way dumbass, the “insert name here”, you ignorant slut” line is an old SNL tagline. Being the lamer that you are, you should know that without me having to tell you. Loser.

Oh, almost forgot. Nope, the loser that called himself “leatherneck” turned out to be exactly what I said, your anemic sister.

  60. Ryan Neat says:

It’s interesting that Mr. Wrong would quote history repeating itself and the fact people don’t learn anything. Too bad he and his reichwing didn’t learn the lessons of Franco, Musolini and hitler when they set off to transform america into a corporate state. Not only does this political system work, it backlashes eventually into a very liberal society.

In the case of Spain for instance it took 50 years, but now they have gay marriage as a result of overly religious and those like mrwrong who disconnect their cerebral cortex in favor of a delusional experience…

  61. Terrytheturtle says:

IRI, you’ve got it all worked out haven’t you?

I think there’s a few of these you have not yet demonstrated for us yet – what do you say? By my count you’ve done 1-4, definitely 5, 7-9 you did last week, 11 and 12. Add to that your penchant for telling fibs and you have a big future in fake Texan Dubya’s Brave New World. Congratulations.

    http://www.oldamericancentury.org/14pts.htm

  62. Ryan Neat says:

    Terry,

I believe it was IRI who publically stated earlier this week that he/she had no problems with NAZIs in america – just goes to show you how real the reichwing really is in america. 20 years ago the supreme court was more liberal than most americans realize or could imagine in the future. The reality is that the fascist takeover of the american psyche has been so creeping and complete that most american fascists are fully unaware that they are in fact nothing more than modern hitlers waiting for the ‘correct’ jew to kill. Considering that aproximately 100,000 Iraqis were killed during the invasion, and the average american seems to have no awareness or care for this, I’d say that the ‘terrorists’ are the perfect scapegoat group for this administration to further execute its transformation of our system into a police state run by corporate interests, religious fanatics and blithering yes men like MrWrong. They’re too stupid, too entrenched, and too ignorant of what it even means to have american values to realize what has come before us, and what we’ve lost and how much more we probably will lose before the radicals will eventually be stopped…

Unlike the nazis, this group has the ability to destroy all life on the planet, and frankly their ignorance, arrogance and ineptitude may yet succeed in delivering that final solution…

  63. Terrytheturtle says:

The final solution is one step closer:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/10/AR2005091001053.html

    comment by rectal cancer

Spain has been a third world shithole for two hundred years. Homosexual unions, they can never be called marriages, are the result of the ongoing decline of the moral fiber of her citizens. That kind of debasement goes hand in hand with their capitioulation to the Islamist threat. All Europe is in a tailspin because God has left the house. Rome wasn’t built in a day and it didn’t fall that quickly either but, it did fall due to the interference of her citizens to moral order.

The Filthy Left in this country is a cancer and The Vast Right Wing Christian Conspiracy is the cure. We’ll win because we’re smarter and better than you. Oh, and we have all the guns. Losers, all your ass are belong to us.

Hey, Right, my man, what it is? I mean, I’m on your side here. I guess someone must have jerked your nazi-assed chain, huh? That Barbara at #57 was certainly original: “pimpley fairy with a tiny little pencil dick” was pretty funny. I bet she was talking about you so no wonder you are pissed—I mean challenging your manhood and all.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I guess I can cross off getting into mighty aphrodite’s pants, huh? Just when I thought I was making some headway with her, too, you come horning in. I’ll tell you what I think. I think corrupt degenerates need a little fascism. Better that than debauched anarchy. The Founders were serious when they told us that this Republic could not survive without the moral religious man as the backbone. You and your kind have been proving them right for the past forty years. It’s time for a change. It’s time we took out the trash.

You know, IRI, I’ve suddenly been struck by the thought that you are a plant by Think Progress to get the posters wound up and you put this ‘Texas oil man, NRA, Filty Left’ thing on to get a reaction. I mean, you can’t be real can you? You are taking it right out of ‘Mein Kampf’ now….wait a bit, I’ll see if I can find the chapter and verse after I’ve looked at Nick’s link.

  74. Shaun says:

Well I watched the speech. Can’t say I watched Bush because you could have put anybody up there to be a “reader”. It was really wierd watching someone who never looked into the camera, only down at the teleprompter, and ultimately pathetic that Bush has nothing to say from the heart. You might as well had a sock puppet up there mouthing the words. You know he didn’t write those sentences with descriptive adjectives describing rumbling street cars and the music of jazz musicians. What a sham.

  75. Terrytheturtle says:

    How about this one:

The Government, being resolved to undertake the political and moral purification of our public life, are creating and securing the conditions necessary for a really profound revival of religious life…. The National Government regard the two Christian Confessions as the weightiest factors for the maintenance of our nationality. They will respect the agreements concluded between them and the federal States. Their rights are not to be infringed…. It will be the Government’s care to maintain honest co-operation between Church and State; the struggle against materialistic views and for a real national community is just as much in the interest of the German nation as in that of the welfare of our Christian faith. The Government of the Reich, who regard Christianity as the unshakable foundation of the morals and moral code of the nation, attach the greatest value to friendly relations with the Holy See and are endeavouring to develop them.
-Adolf Hitler, in his speech to the Reichstag on 23 March 1933

-Adolf Hitler, in his speech to the Reichstag on 23 March 1933

    comment by Comrade Terp

Whenever I read that kind of thing from your uncle Adolf I’m reminded of Bill and Hillary going to church. Bill, with his Bible big enough to be caught by the smallest camera lens and Hillary all dressed in pink. Ten bucks to the first loser among you that comes up with a Bush photo op in a church setting.

  80. Shaun says:

Just go to Google images and search for “bush church”. Which of the thousands would you like.

I’ll be danged, there’s one with “my husband didn’t do anything wrong because he said so” Laura Bush in a pink dress. Toooooooooooooooo eeeeaaaaasssssyyyyyyyyy!

  81. Hank says:

Well, well, well. I must correct my post (#71). I predicted earlier on post #26 that Bush would have on a blue shirt and the sleeves rolled up for tonights speech, showing he is working hard and in touch with blue-collar America. I was right, but it was so easy to see through the same old, worn-out pattern.

What a phony, predictable, two-dimensional man. Cheney and Rove need to get some new ideas on how to dress up their punk.

  83. WaltTheMan says:

In answer to prior posts where some people are trying to implicate Carter in the funding of The USSR/Afghan war. Carter, in the last year of his presidency basically allowed the CIA to help the rebels in their struggle against a Soviet puppet regime as an extension of the cold war. It took the Reagan/Casey/Bush 1 team to take it to the extremes – paying salaries, supplying modern arms including shoulder fired ground to air missiles and anti-tank weapons.

    Excerpted via the URL:

    http://www.globalissues.org/Geopolitics/MiddleEast/TerrorInUSA/Anatomy.asp

“In 1980, not long after Soviet forces invaded Afghanistan to prop up a sympathetic leftist government, President Jimmy Carter signed the first — and for many years the only — presidential “finding” on Afghanistan, the classified directive required by U.S. law to begin covert operations, according to several Western sources familiar with the Carter document.
The Carter finding sought to aid Afghan rebels in “harassment” of Soviet occupying forces in Afghanistan through secret supplies of light weapons and other assistance. The finding did not talk of driving Soviet forces out of Afghanistan or defeating them militarily, goals few considered possible at the time, these sources said.”

The entire article is a study of how the mujaheddin were supplied, paid and trained by the Reagan administration.

    comment by Walt the ?

So Walter…you think taking the necessary measures to defeat the Soviets was taking matters to the extreme?

Let’s see a show of hands. Who wanted the Russian Communists to win that one?

And by the way…it was only because of our tactical and technical skill the “unbeatable” Afghans were able to drive out the Reds. Something the Filthy Left failed to consider when they told us all we’d never whip the Taliban. Bush was right again.

  85. cynical ex-hippie says:

Oooo, a tough choice! Russians espousing a failed economic system, or suicide bombers who behead kidnap victims for entertainment? Hmmmm… which one would I choose? An orderly military stand off, or random bombings? Which one which one… a Russian prison or desert gang-rape and torture party? If I were Ollie North I know which side I would choose between Islamofascists and Israel. Hey Righty, you think those Israeli tank crews enjoyed Ollie’s special delivery? ‘Cause I don’t.

In any event, we know which one Reagan chose. And Bush sure pals around with his KGB friend, doesn’t he? Funny how things turn out.

  86. cynical ex-hippie says:

Actually, #85, mostly it was our small arms, the Mujihaden never really picked up on the tactics all that much. They became good helicopter hunters, once they got the Stingers. But mostly they shot the place up with $8 billion worth of bullets.

Who exactly is the “Filthy Left,” btw? I was never real clear on that.

  87. WaltTheMan says:

Read the article, the mujaheddin were also supplied satellite technology, modern telecommunications and all of the other accouterments that allowed them to carry out 9/11. The Reagan team gave them the ability to takeout the USSR, but the skills and wherewithal were left behind to take on the next infidel. Unfortunately, the next infidel was we.

I thought that your point was that Carter was arming them to the extent that the righties were.

  88. Susan says:

Hey Marie, I see the wingers couldn’t handle the fact that Hastert is on his last leg. When we get a response from them it means we are getting to them.

Ha, Ha, stupid republicans, your slob had to hire counter protesters. Those who oppose came out willingly and did not have to be paid.

    See ya fat slob.

Dumbya doing an ivestigation is like Maxwell Smart doing it.

    Missed it by that much!

I saw how the senators voted on the independent investigation. Buzzflash has the link.

All the Democrats voted yea, except for the one that didn’t vote.

And, as you would expect ALL the repugs voted no, except the repugnican from LA that didn’t vote.

    No suprises there.

Buzzflash also has a link to The New York Times article:

NYT’s Brooks revealed that “from Day One,” the Bush White House “decided our public relations is not going to be honest” — why hasn’t he written about this?

It is a good read with links.

Also, Buzzflash has links to interviews of 2 survivors that said they heard a big boom after the hurricane had passed, and afterward St. Bernard’s Parrish began to flood. The head of St. Bernard’s Parrish gave an interview and also said he heard the big boom after the hurricane.

Dumbya doesn’t want an ivestigation into 9/11 (’cause his brother Marvin’s company was in the twin towers 9/10 installing “security devices”. When Marvin’s nanny (not his, his childrens) threatend him about coming forward, she was crushed by her car in early October 2001. Google Bertha Champagne.

Terry, it’s tonight’s programme. The relevant story starts at nearly thirty-two minutes. And then the parents want them to enter Republican politics, and eventually lead the country, to keep it a Christian country. Just follow my instructions Terry.

  94. kjlovell says:

I have seen the bible thumping, head burying, inbred, zealots in action for years now. I knew this was happening. I see it in the vacant, uneducated eyes of people that spout wrong-wing talking points.

I can’t fix stupid. But still I try. I hate it when they tell me they voted for dumbya because someone told them to do it. It proves they are too uneducated to think for themselves.

It is always always the poor that should vote dem or ind that say those things. I have converted about 1000 but it is a slow process. They must be deprogrammed like moonies.

Booga-booga..HA! It’s interesting to me that a sissy Brit living out an Orwelian Nightmare is worried about the way Chrisians in America choose to raise their children. Perhaps you’d put a stop to it if it were up to you? Oh, you do know who George Orwell is don’t you?

You’re really not that stupid are you? Escape his responsibilities? I suppose you’re speaking of our President? What were his responsibilities Walt? Appease the Islamofreaks? The Euroweasels?

I don’t believe you didn’t vote for Klinton or Algore but I do believe you voted for Cabana Boy Kerry, Vietnam war criminal and traitor to his country. I don’t think you had a problem at all voting for him.

  98. kjlovell says:

#81 they did have other ideas on how to dress up their punk. Flight suit wouldn’t work here, and since this is about the time of the gay Southern celebration they did dress chimpy in drag, but had to scrap that one too. Mainly because try as he might dumbya couldn’t manage the fake eyelashes.

Sissy Brit, Wow, I think I’m going to cry. Did you think that insult up all by yourself? Or did you use your right-wing book of insults. I’ll come over there and kick your arse you inbred redneck. I-Right-I, see if you can count to six on one hand.

You do know whom George Orwell is don’t you?

What a toughie, what a toughie. I’ve watched the American version of who wants to be a millionaire. This would be a $500,000 question, on the US version, of the show. The Americans don’t like to be made to look dumb, on TV.

I’ve got to go now. I’m listening to my 1984 hits CD. Then there’s a TV show I want to watch about a farm, and its animals.

IWI: “Pssssst, mouse. The guys on my side are the Capitalist Imperialists, the guys on your side are the Marxist/Stalinist Ratbastardcommiemofos.”

Partial credit Yes, your “side” is blatantly imperialistic. But claiming to be capitalists is just one of the lies you Stalinist antiChristian Repugnant scumbags spread. As for my ’side’, you have no clue what that is. Hint: I strongly oppose a big spending, intrusive, abusive, big government. You know, that thing you “conservatives” and your butt-buddy Bush are so busily implementing.

    IWI – “How’d I do loser?”

My guess is you were describing yourself, since none of what you wrote is true wrt me. Sorry, I am not your soulmate, go find some other guy. Oops, sorry again, forgot that closet types like you do not believe in souls, or an afterlife, or judgement.

I am not a conservative, liberal, moderate, Demonkrap, or Rethuglican. I am all too aware that in your narrow ‘our team their team’ worldview there are no other categories. News flash, I do not fit in one of your pissant little pigeonholes.
