When will this end? Their deaths are barely noted in the media who are saturating their reporting with Katrina coverage, leaving little or no room for other news.
A lot happened yesterday, but you have to be a news junkie to know it. These tragic deaths are reported as footnotes.
GWB cannot be punished enough to make up for the hell he has perpetrated on us and the world.
It’s time to bring our troops home. It is time for the American people to rise up and take our country back. We need to vote these Right-wing nuts out of office. Becaues of the diaster down in New Orleans we don’t get any news about Iraq.
Right again Marie, I had to realy hunt the new’s reports to get anything on Iraq. The Bush bunch want to keep our heads busy with crap while they empty our pockets and kill our people here and in Iraq. ” Some people down south still not getting help and more lost their lives in Iraq yesterday” was all I heard. Just to sad. The piblic is so slow to wake up…Blessings
As more and more Americans come home in body bags, the circle of people that has been touched directly by Bush’s war grows. Unfortunately, everybody knows someone (or has a friend who’s parent was) killed in Vietnam. Iraq will eventually be exactly the same. There is just no excuse for prolonging this disaster any further.
Once again, the asshoie Republicans that want war (greed, profit) should send their own children. Otherwise, they should shut the hell up.
I am positive that the number of American dead is much higher. They don’t count as KIA unless they die on the field in Iraq. Once they leave the country, head to Germany for recovery, they don’t count them. If they commit suicide, they don’t count. The 1905 as of this morning, doesn’t include Afghanistan.
im soooo sick of these frickin chicken hawks in the goober bush admin. not on fricking one of them or their spoiled drug addicted kids has ever served one minute. and yet they can send poor (yes most of the kids/soldiers in iraq come from poor families) to die
to bring ‘freedom’ to the iraqi’s. and i too hate those stupid ’support our troops’ car tags. lets support them by bringing them home now!@#$%^&&* people put those on their cars so they can feel good about themselves as they crack a beer and mindlessly follow!!
God bless everyone who is still there. I pray for them every night.
September 20th, 2005 at 9:51 amYou won’t see their flag-draped caskets on tv, though. However, you’ll see the flag wave on every good murkan’s car that drives by you on the street.
Go to you local Wal-Mart and buy another plastic flag made in China.
That’s what the good murkans do here in murka.
Chinese flags made in the US
Your murkan car flag made in China
I won’t try to figure it out. It makes no sense.

September 20th, 2005 at 11:41 am#9 Jay,
I agree with you. The Republicans should send their own children over to Iraq. Otherwise they should shut their nasty mouths up.
September 20th, 2005 at 12:07 pmI will bet you dollars to donuts right now that after this Iraq thing is done the DOD will find more dead bodies for you all to think about.
Me thinks the death toll of amerikan soldiers in Iraq is closer to 3,000 than 2,000.
Any takers you know it all wingnuts?
