The Securities and Exchange Commission has launched an official investigation into Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist’s sale in June of HCA Inc. shares.
Things are beginning to look better by the moment. DeLay – gone. Abramoff – gone. Ralph Reed – under investigation. Frist – under investigation. KKKarl Rove – under investigation. Dick Cheney – in his bunker, but perhaps under investigation?
Don’t you just love Conservative Christian values playing games in US politics? Not for much longer! :-)
It’s been a bad day for the Banana Republicans. First, House Majority Leader Tom Delay was indicted. Then, the SEC announced it is launching a formal investigation into Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist’s insider trading scandal.
For today at least, God is in His Heaven and all is right with the world.
Did you all hear that David Drier will probably fill Delay’s slot temporarily?
David Drier is like one of those little dogs that yap constantly and nip at your ankles. He is a pompous and obnoxious person (who will likely present a challenge to the religious right in defending him), but being pompous and obnoxious is prerequisite for being Republican these days.
On the way to slandering Gov. Blanco, the GOP run Red Cross is sitting their fat stupid asses on $1 Billion dollars while being utterly incompetent at virtually everything they touch! Clearly they’ve gone to the FEMA school of hiring for their management of late – could explain why all of their key management is republican. It’s all about the politics – screw the people. When did the Red Cross become such partisan fvckheads!
Oh Happy Day…
September 28th, 2005 at 1:59 pmChristmas already?
September 28th, 2005 at 2:03 pmNow only the entire administration to go! Hey great week!
And when do Rove and Bolton go to jail over Plamegate?
Come on investigators, put these crooks behind bars where they clearly belong. The gangsta neocons have looted america for way too long!
September 28th, 2005 at 2:05 pmI hope the SEC checks the *video* of Frist’s many lies about this issue.

September 28th, 2005 at 2:30 pmWhoop-de-doo!
September 28th, 2005 at 2:35 pmDelay indictment, Frist investigation — if Rove gets indicted — we will have a “trifecta” to use Bush’s phrase.
Did you all hear that David Drier will probably fill Delay’s slot temporarily?

Been a tough day for Delay, Frist, Brown and the Banana Republicans.

hurricanes, indictments, investigations. Whew! What a day. Grab your scorecards and let’s get to blogging.
September 28th, 2005 at 3:45 pmI can’t claim this to be mine, but its good enough to repeat here:
Maybe FEMA can save DeLay.
And if FEMA can save DeLay, maybe it can save Frist too! :-)
September 28th, 2005 at 4:00 pmBush said, thru McClellan that he still has the full trust and confidence in Tom Delay.
Of course. Why wouldnt he, both are crooks.
