And if you want a more recent example, look to Kentucky, where Governor Ernie Fletcher (R) pardoned: nine current and former officials who have been indicted along with anyone who “might … be charged.†http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/12507804.htm
although he modestly has not pardoned himself.
