  3. The Northeast Dilemma says:

    Give me a break.

The sheer fact that you fail to mention Roberts overwhelming victory in the Senate today shows just how out of touch you fools are. While you avenge second-tier Republicans, I’ll be busy making sure the Court gets packed with “right-wing” idealogues.

If you people had a brain, you’d be relevant.

  4. afterthought says:

    NeD still seems very worried.
I feel really bad about that NeD.
Don’t you need to help Frist with his
    corruption today?
    GOP, your corruption is showing

  5. The Northeast Dilemma says:

#4 – you can have Frist. I don’t want him anyway. As for DeLay – he will be vindicated.

    DELUSIONAL.

  6. Ryan Neat says:

    NED,

Roberts is a virtual exchange of Rehnquist. All you’ve won so far is the right to continue as is. The only critical replacement is O’Conner. Or had you missed that fact on your way to wasting your time on Roberts…

Oh well, long term tactics clearly was never your strong suit – that explains why you’re a stupid republican…

    Now back to the point!

The fact is this Death Star Enron scheme of campaign financing is going to get a LOT of politicians in trouble in 2006. I can see the democratic campaigns now. “My opponent is corrupt and dirty! He/She took money from Delay’s PAC who was CONVICTED for conspiracy around illegal money laundering with that PAC! Is this the sort of person who should represent our district?”

This one reaches MUCH further than Delay, it touches a LARGE portion of the recent and vulnerable congressmen that delay helped fund (illegally) into office!

Wow you described your opinions and yourself so concisely – the only accurate statement you’ve made all day…

  8. afterthought says:

    Sure, sure NeD.
Sure hope the Abramoff investigation does not
    head Delay’s way too.
How about that mob hit, huh?
I mean I knew the right-wing was criminal,
    but wow! Who knew?

  9. Ryan Neat says:

Oh, and I wasn’t entirely accurate in my last posting. When I said it was your only accurate statement today – I meant EVER!

  10. Ryan Neat says:

Oh, and NED. Were you on the grand jury that indicted? Do you have access to all of the evidence? How could you possibly know he’ll be let off unless your republican buddies are telling you the judge is dirty and the trial is fixed?

After all, just like all of your reichwing buddies were pointing out yesterday – the jury decides, we (that would be you) don’t… I see 3 previous convictions for ethical violations and with any other (honest) congress he would have been gone. So based on his past criminal behaviors, I’d say there’s a clear chance he will be convicted.

  11. MrsT says:

People, why do you engage this person? Comments sections for this weblog turn to garbage with this kind of dialogue.

  12. afterthought says:

    Hi Ryan,

I am thinking the trial will be real interesting
no matter what happens to Delay in the end.
Watching the “K Street Project” fall apart
    will be great fun.
    People returning money already, hee.

  13. Ryan Neat says:

    MrsT,

They keep writing whether you engage them or not, you might as well destroy their talking points so others can see how its done…

  14. Ryan Neat says:

It will be interesting – I hope it’s a VERY PUBLIC trial. I heard the weasel is trying to get out of getting fingerprinted (as I understand it a public event). Sounds like the photo-op of him getting treated like the criminal he is might be bad for the 2006 campaign – and he’d be right!!!

  15. The Northeast Dilemma says:

Ryan – yes, and while you people are wasting your ammo on DeLay, we will be fighting to get Bush’s next nominee confirmed.

Here’s something that must bother you people – Democrats won’t even have the votes to filibuster. lol!! Your party is such disarray and the MSM can’t even talk about it. So, please focus on Delay. We’ll hammer you liars on the Courts.

  16. progressive and proud says:

It doesn’t matter what happens next, Delay is over politically. He can go back to killing bugs instead of befriending them. You got 3 or 4 ethics violations, an indictment (would love a picture of that fingerprinting session) and Shaivo – BYE.

Dance as fast as you can trolls. There aren’t too many around that I can see (in East TN mind you) that would actually defend these scumbags. Right, trolls? I bet you don’t talk that goofy crap of yours in front of living, breathing human beings. Only in your virtual world of delusion do you act like this. Lonely trolls, *sigh*.

  17. Randy says:

What exactly is Delay being charged with that is criminal? Any good prosecutor knows that this case will be thrown out of court. This indictment is obviously politically driven that the blogosphere sees right through (not here of course) and main stream media is eating this right up.

  18. progressive and proud says:

    Supreme Court *squawk*
    Supreme Court *squawk*
    Polly wanna cracker *squawk*

    Silly trolls.

  19. Gary Kleppe says:

What exactly is Delay being charged with that is criminal?

For the 32,767th time, using corporate contributions for campaigns, which is illegal under Texas state law, even if the person doing it is a Republican.

Any good prosecutor knows that this case will be thrown out of court.

Where “good” in your tiny little mind means “partisan Republican.”

This indictment is obviously politically driven

As has been mentioned on this site, Earle has prosecuted three times as many Democrats as Republicans during his career.

  20. Hunter Morrow says:

Wow. You are really full of it. Delay is gonna get nailed. To the cross. Even if he doesn’t get crucified legally his career is still in the can. All the dirty deeds of the past 5 and 10 years are being exposed, the fraud is coming up, and insiders are distancing themselves. It looks, walks, and quacks like Delay is in it up to his eyeballs, and his is.

  21. progressive and proud says:

The trolls don’t care. If you notice, they only know a few sentences and they repeat them ad nauseum. It’s all they know and they sound like parrots. The talking point du jour is “we have the supreme court forever” and “delay is being smeared.” Even as I write that I laugh. They’re weirdos and like to be around people that find them merely silly “yap dogs.”

The trolls are pathetic anymore. They don’t offer anything but insults; and really dumb ones at that. They are not clever or articulate. But, as of late, it’s kind of funny watching them grind as their heros lose their jobs. They stay well hidden, though. You don’t hear their garbage on the streets; they are like drug dealers skalking about undercover.

  22. The Northeast Dilemma says:

P & P – looks like you’ll have to go back to the alleys to get all your abortions now. Also, you might have see the 10 commandments in public – oh, the horror!!!

  23. progressive and proud says:

NeD is a crass, ignorant and lonely little boy. Dance trolls, dance.

  24. progressive and proud says:

But, you are right, NeD; abortions are easier and cheaper than birth control. I mean, why take a silly little pill when I could just as easily get surgery. You are so smart, NeD. I hope one day I can meet someone with such high intellect and powers of reasoning. Ah well, I’ll have to get by with my MIT educated boyfriend. Until then…

  25. Gary Kleppe says:

When it comes to abortion, Neddy exemplifies George Carlin’s Law.

  26. Marie says:

It’ll be interesting to keep a tab on the number of pols who start edging backwards away from this bug man. Wasn’t there a commercial years ago about bugs encountering a giant can of RAID — I think Delay might feel some empathy for the bugs. TERMINIX!

  27. Elvis says:

    NED,

You assume that all the people on this site are Democrats. You are wrong, as usual. They (Democrats) are just as corrupt.

As far as abortion and the 10 commandments are concerned, and your precious “right wing;” if you are for taking away the rights and liberties of the people, and removing the separation of church and state, then what is your definition of liberty? How do you define freedom of religion?

“The leading self-delusion of proud people is their false security in themselves and their resources.”

  28. Hunter Morrow says:

Nice attempt to change the subject, but what does The 10 Commandments have to do with Delay and Frist getting investigated? These cases are likely career killers. on one hand is the majority leader giving up his position and basically admitting to racketeering and gerrymandering, and on the other hand is a guy who used to be a shoo-in for the presidential nomination going down over insider trading. Thats right, suck on it. Oh, and “We have the Supreme Court forever!” How about this talking point: “Bush below 40.”

  29. Ryan Neat says:

“P & P – looks like you’ll have to go back to the alleys to get all your abortions now.”

It worked for GeezassW when he got a back alley abortion for his girlfriend.

” Also, you might have see the 10 commandments in public – oh, the horror!!!
    Comment by The Northeast Dilemma”

I’m a hindu, you can shove those commandments of yours that you clearly don’t follow (the bearing false witness in particular ensures your place in hell) up your stupid fat ass!

Just because you’re willing to follow a book that teaches dinosaurs are jesus horses, don’t think the rest of us need to follow your delusions.

“The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus by the Supreme Being in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter.”

    Thomas Jefferson

  30. Dan Fero says:

Check out the Carney for Congress blog. They have a petition for the now incumbent GOP rep Don Sherwood to give the money back that he received from DeLay. Grassroots at its finest. Sign the petition, and let the GOP know that no one should take Delay’s dirty money.
