War Protest – Nov 10 2005 Take a day off! – Please Read

If you feel, as the majority of Americans and people throughout the world do, that the war in Iraq is wrong, and you wish you had a way to show the Bush Administration, the Government of the United States, and the world, how you feel about it, then join us in our world wide walk out on November 10th 2005.

Show the world how you feel, and just how many of us feel this way. Let’s drive the point home by taking away from them their most precious item; money.

On November 10th 2005, unless you hold a position which people rely upon in the event of an emergency (you work at a hospital, a firemen, policemen etc), don’t go to work. Try not to drive your car; don’t watch T.V.; don’t use the internet. Stay at home. Read a book. Play with your kids. Engage in a hobby.

Plan a vacation day at work. Call in sick. Use your best judgment on how to take this day off.

If we don’t get their attention this way, we’ll just do it again, until we do.

If the people speak, and speak together, they have to listen.

Please email this to as many of your friends and colleagues as you wish/can.

  23. cmw says:

So when the hell is everybody gonna realize Judy Miller is CIA. For Chris’ sake people. Connect the dots already!

  24. cmw says:

Judy’s not the journalist. She’s the source. Surely everyone left or right that frequents here has heard of operation Condor was it? Some bird anyway. In the 60s – to get the media on board with the agenda of the security state. You think Miller knew about Iraqi intelligence due to reporting skills? Come on everyone. Let’s grow up. It’s time now to grow up and smell the coffee, or the stink.

  25. afterthought says:

    Well cmw,

I do know that Judy is a horrible
journalist, but she’s also seems to
be a horrible spy, so I think she
is just incompetent all round, which
likely makes her part of the Cheney
    Administration.

  26. cmw says:

And what say we hypothesize a bit – let’s suppose that Bush, as a member of Skull and Bones, the Yale secret society, believes that the Ark of the Covenant, long sought by the Knights Templar, is housed somewhere either in Palestine or in the Sudan, Egypt, or Ethiopia. And let’s suppose that as a member of the supposedly defunct Knights Templar, Bush and his family want nothing else but to possess the Ark of the Covenant. There’s ample evidence that whatever the ARk contained, it was valuable and it was powerful, and it was handed down from the Egyptians.

SO let’s just say that everything we’re told is bs, and that our leaders are living in another reality that we, the common folk know little about. And let’s just say that Bush is insane and is willing to sacrifice everyone’s children to finally possess whatever lies within the ancient box called the Ark of the Covenant.

It could be true. It makes as much sense as the nonsense that is spun out of the White House every day.

And if you want to investigate all these possibilities
read – “The Sign and the Seal” by Graham Hancock, a reporter for the Economist magazine who investigated the existence of the Ark of the Covenant. You may be very surprised to find out that reality is not what we’re told it is.

  27. Susan says:

CMW, I’m a bit confused. Are you saying that Miller was jailed in “protective custody”?

  28. SpudgeBoy says:

    #27

“There’s ample evidence that whatever the ARk contained, it was valuable and it was powerful, and it was handed down from the Egyptians.”

The Ark of the Covenant contains the tablets that the Ten Commandments are written on. That is well documented in the Bible. It is not a secret at all.

So, you are saying that George Bush and company are after the Ten Commandments?

Well, considering how freaking these a’holes are about religion, it might just be true. Think about how much these people place on faith.

Then again, I believe that Bush is just using the religious to do his bidding.

  29. cmw says:

    Spudge Boy
No you’re wrong – the ark didn’t contain tablets of stone written on by the hand of God supposedly
they contained something else – something coveted – tablets of stone with writing on them are not very valuable – but you need to read more – the bible is a fairy tale for children – you need to read between the lines – maybe that’s too difficult for you -

  30. cmw says:

    Susan
I don’t think she was in protective custody. I think she willingly went to jail to conceal her sources within the CIA, because that’s what she’s amply paid to do.

  31. cmw says:

    Spudge Boy
I apologize for being so harsh in my previous comments – i went back and read your entire post – and i see that you are not rejecting the notion entirely, just unaware of possibility that things are not as we have been told repeatedly, over and over, for hundreds and hundreds of years

  32. Smedley D. Butler says:

    Susan,

I didn’t know about the Nov 2nd one. Starting this one on my own. Posting on CraigsList and email…

    Spread the word.

  33. SpudgeBoy says:

    cmw,

It’s all good. I am very open to testing new theories.

You got any links I can check out?

    Bush is still a dick.

  34. Susan says:

Funny you’re talking about the ten commandments. On the Yahoo homepage there is a story about the latest Bushie poll. It appears the evangalists are not happy with him either. Maybe thats why these religious or valuable items are important right now. Bushie has to prove that if he can obtain them he is the messiah.

The polls also show that Bushie has lost 50% of his base. I guess that leaves the real freaks feeling quite lonely.

  35. cmw says:

    Spudge Boy

    Bush is a dick.

  36. cmw says:

    Susan
Maybe Bush has promised to deliver the messiah by capturing certain objects – now that would be the ultimate gig, and of course he can’t produce, so how will he “exit stage left” as Snaggletooth used to say (on that cartoon show for adults in the 60s the name of which now escapes me)

I’m all for the writ of habeas corpus being placed outside every Federal building, and being plastered to the front door of the white house

  42. SpudgeBoy says:

    cmw,

Looks like there might be some interesting stuff there. SHoot, the first story is very interesting.

A BBC story on DNA research of the common potatoe.

“US scientists have found that all modern varieties of potatoes can be traced back to a single source – a spud grown in Peru over 7,000 years ago.”

I find this interesting, because according to Bush and company, the Earth is only 6,000 years old. That is what “Intellegent Design” (yeah right) teaches. That is what they want our kids taught in school.

Now, riddle me this: How can people be cultivating potatoes that haven’t been invented for another 1,000 years?

    Answer: They can’t.

People have been on this Earth for well over 6,000 years. Maybe this is why Bush is so against science. Why? Because science proves that man made religion is a bunch of hog wash.

Bush is trying to kill science and put this country back into the dark ages. Everyday we get closer to discoverying the truth and they want us to not find out what that is. Why, because knowledge is power. Once we have the knowledge, we will have the power and these groups of religious whackos will loose it.

They don’t want to loose their power, straight and simple.

This same reason is why so many Democrats vote republican also. They don’t want to loose power either.

Sorry for the rant, but I have been wanting to say that for a while now.

  43. cmw says:

    SpudgeBoy
I think you are on to something there
Science, knowledge, investigation, freedom of thought – these things have been controlled and suppressed for centuries.
People have been fighting, giving up their lives in some cases to further truth and free investigation – and yet we are continually faced with the trash thrown up to us as our leaders, trash like Bush, by the ruling families and now the ruling corporations.

  44. SpudgeBoy says:

    cmw,

I think you will find that if you were to trace back the roots of many of the large corporations that around today, you would find that they are some of the same company, guilds and sects, that were around hundreds of years ago. These same people have held power than and they hold that power now.

The same goes for the religions of the world. They have always had a lust for power. They preach to the masses “Don’t be greedy, for that is one of the seven deadly sins.” and then turn around and teach “If you take the Lord into your heart, you will go to Heaven when you die. The streets of heaven are paved with gold.” Wouldn’t streets of gold be something a greedy person would want?

Besides, how can these people’s SUVs get traction on a street of gold?

  45. cmw says:

    Spudge Boy
It is interesting that the ruling families of England and US over past several hundred years concentrated their wealth gathering in transportation – East India Company – and the sailing ships that invaded China to trade opium – that is where they made fabulous wealth – in the US the wealth was in natural resources involved in transportation – steel, railroads, and then or course armaments – laying the rails into Mexico to bring in the armaments and armies followed by war to take the land permanently

    and one further note
on my trip to the monument in Houston to the battle of San Jacinto – most of the officers in that battle were masons – i remember looking at the plaques at the battle site and remarking that most of the officer class had the masonic symbol on their plaques.

  46. Jealous of Jeff says:

#40 …provided that the Federal Government agrees to abide by EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM – especially the ones about ‘false witness’, killing and ‘coveting they neighbors possesions’, Failure to do so results in an immediate election and jail for the perps.

  47. SpudgeBoy says:

    cmw,

So, what name do you think the Masons go by now? I have always found secret societies very intriguing. You know, like the Bush Skull and Bones or Bush/Clinton Carlye Group.

I mean, if you think about it, you could get a lot accomplished (like getting a moron elected president) if you had a bunch of people that were sworn under blood oath to always help each other “get shit done.”

That is why old Bushies comment about Harriet Miers “will be confirmed” and she will serve on the bench.”

  48. cmw says:

    Spudge Boy
My understanding now is that the Knights Templar morphed into the freemasons after suppression by the Pope in 13th century. They formed a secret society within the secret society. And it’s my opinion, though I have no proof that Skull and Bones is an offshoot of this inner secret society of rich, wealthy members who hold tremendous power throughout the world. I would suspect that Bush’s kissing and holding hands with the Saudi Prince had more to do with shared membership in a secret society than with sucking up for oil as the press claimed, or homosexuality, although that might be an additional reason.

  49. SpudgeBoy says:

    cmw,

Well, considering the fact that most of the ruling politicians around the world are men, could it be a secret cult of gay leaders.

You know, “Hold my hand in the rose garden to prove your loyalty.”

If you think about how hung up on homosexuality the feaks are, it kind of fits. They don’t want anybody to know.

    Heh!

  50. Left coast Mike says:

I’m all for the ten commandments being exploded into thousands of tiny pieces and used as Kitty litter.

  51. Sharon Cox says:

Dear Left Coast Mike and all posting to get rid of the ten comandments. I don’t agree. No I am not a christian but I believe in tolerance and honoring others beliefs. Distroying someones faith or dominating their ideals, supressing them in any way is exactly what this administration and all extremests do. Seperation of church and state is my thinking. Don’t want prayer in school, no ten comandments on the court house steps, but on church property or peoples yards and homes that’s O.K. by me. Don’t think we should distroy any old art work’s either, but there should be a place for it and not in public places suported by my tax dollars. You see if you support the thought of rubbing out someone elses faith or beliefs you go against our constitution and the same can be held for us, that is we would not have the right to not believe as we choose. I don’t think there should be nativity scenes in the court yards either for the same reason. Now if a comunity want’s to do all this they should honor all faiths, or none… That’s my thinking…..Blessings

  52. Marie says:

    I am with you Sharon.
“Don’t want prayer in school, no ten comandments on the court house steps, but on church property or peoples yards and homes that’s O.K. by me. Don’t think we should distroy any old art work’s either, but there should be a place for it and not in public places suported by my tax dollars….

People need to take a step back and look at the whole picture with a view toward fairness, impartiality, and separation of church and state.

  53. Marie says:

OOOPS! I think we are off topic.Sorry.

  54. SpudgeBoy says:

Yes, you are correct we are way of topic. SO let’s jump back on.

Hey Spudge, I love your posts but it’s DRIVING ME MAD that you always use “loose” when you should use “lose” – or am I missing some hidden meaning?
Sorry to be the spelling police, just curious if there is a reason…

  58. SpudgeBoy says:

    sara,

You are correct. I should have been using lose. I always type that wrong and then go “Grrrrrr, I type that shit wrong agian!”

  59. Pablo in Mexico says:

Judith Miller is not CIA. She is however, a star member of the Cheney-Rumsfeld-Department of Defense secret intelligence agency.

In fact, she may well be one of the founders of that cabal.

Cheney and Rummy were not satisfied with the intelligenc they were getting from the CIA because it did not prove what they KNEW to be true.

They needed someone to spell out and advertise their thoughts, and this was Judith Miller. What better way to get your message across thaa use a well known reporter from the worlds largest newspaper orgainizaation?

Naw, Miller is not CIA. In fact they have file cabinets of information on her, Cheney and Rummy. It will all come out someday, and Miller will be gone.

She went to jail to enhance her credibility, but that is not working, at least in my view. She used Cheney-Rummy to bolster her career, they used her to bolster their wild notions of what there was not in Iraq.

  60. Smedley D. Butler says:

I need your help, very badly.

I’m trying to get this war protest off the ground. I’m posting it as often as I can and as much as I can through CraigsList and email. But there is only so much I can do by myself…

If you would like to protest the war, by simply taking the day off of work on November 10th 2005, then please take my post off of this site that starts with “War Protest” and post it in as many places as you can. CraigsList, blogs, email, everywhere. Just take 10 minutes to help me get the ball rolling, and then take the 10th of November off. That’s all it would take. Anymore help beyond that which you think would be helpful, is greatly appreciated as well.

I can’t do it without your help.

    Please.

    Thanks

There is already a “sick out” planned for November 2nd. Your November 10th date is not going to happen. Stop posting the other date. You are only confusing a worthy cause.
