Doesn’t anyone realize that outing a covert CIA agent is considered treason? And, what is the penalty for treason during wartime? Execution by firing squad! Wouldn’t you love to see them frog marching Cheney, Rove, Libby, and anyone else found guilty, out to the Lincoln Memorial and lined up for an execution squad, televised on TV! To comment on anything O\’Reilly says, is like criticizing the babbling of a 1 year old. You can\’t take him seriously. Fox is just a propoganda arm of the Repubs and O\’Reilly is doing what any paid servent should do – promote his master\’s agenda. Taking him seriously and commenting on his statements makes it sound like we consider him a normal adult with an opinion.

Let’s see if I got this … Rove should be indicted because he reiterated a name to a reporter of a CIA employee who “kinda” was undercover (hadn’t been overseas in years) … and all her personal friends knew she was CIA, knew her name of course (big secret …ooooh) …. and Rove first learned from a reporter she had sent her dear hubby (an undercover Kerry operative) — and so Rove should be indicted?

Gee, couldn’t he at least get a Sandy Berger deal and just pay a 10K fine, and stuff his pockets with classified info on his way out of the White House?

Phone records … I want to see Joe Wilson’s phone records.

Upon reading more comments. The Brady Bunch rerun etc. . . If a cable news show beats the next closest every night by 2 or 3 times, what arguement do you really have ? Number 1 cable news show. Was Enron bad for the country ? I think so. Was MCI and Global Crossing bad for the country ? Yep. Was the UK bombings bad for our country ? Sure it was . . . look at the panic in NY when there was a scare. Spain and UK train bombs were “bad for the country” . . our country because of the fear that it instilled. Our President lying under oath about a stain on some girls dress was bad for the country. And having a top White House advisor would be bad for the country. Sad, so sad, that six words from O’Reilly caused this many people (including me) to waste this much time. Drink up – on this website the Kool Aid is free.

Ok, this is the 6th time I’ve heard “criminalization of politics”

Give me a damn break…how stupid are the sheep who buy this line of crap? This phrase basically means it’s just politics to give up a CIA agent’s identity in retaliation for a criticism of this Admin’s policies; it’s ‘normal’ to do such a thing because it’s in the arena of ‘politics.’ O’Liely and Krisol Meth are suckups of the worst kind.

Hey, how about this for a solution? What if Rove “resigns rather than putting th country thru this mess?” Or, maybe Bush could keep his promise and makes Rove “no longer a part of this administration.” After all, don’t Republicans “put principle above politics.” Also, if Bill O’Liely is “fair and balanced,” where are all of his misstatments that favor Democrats? To err is human, but to always err on the same side is the definition of bias.

Your argument makes sense to me; the pronunciation/spelling of Plame’s name is a dead giveaway. I also read a few months ago about a possible connection involving John Bolton. These guys are all in it up to their necks, they have been involved in this kind of work since the days of Reagan if not before.

It irks me that progressives keep talking up what O’Reilly says, pointing out his continuously hypocritical statements – It should come as no surprise to anyone that O’Reilly lies, obfuscates, distorts, and covers up for the Bush admin. Like them O’Reilly is also a criminal – as in sexual predator – witness the lawsuit brought against him by one of his employees at Fox news. If you read the transcripts from the trial, which are online, – where his taped phone conversations were entered into evidence – you get the sense that he is practiced at the art of sexual predation – so why do progressive blogs continue to even care what he says – it would be best to give him and his ilk no coverage at all. He will say and do anything to please himself and his masters. So just move on. And that the fact that he and Bill Kristol and tsk tsking over Rove’s impending resignation should not be the topic of discussion. What else do you expect them to say.

I don’t see any whining, crying or belly-aching going on here. Everybody seems to be in a great mood now that justice is being served. Indict the lot of them. I will be happily watching the court proceedings 24/7. This will be much better than most of the TV programming that is on. I will coin a new phrase: “Important Reality TV” or even better “Reality Based Reality TV”
