re 45. At last after 44 comments Mike gats to the point, the outing of Plame is a distraction from the real World and is being used, the same as the Miers nomination, for taking the pressure of those seeking the truth behind what happened on 11th September 2001.
At least people in the USA are tackling the issue here in the UK we have a left that believes in George Galloway’s outpourings, which fall in really well with the aims of the neocons (formed by ex-trotskyites) plans.
Wake up PLEASE, before it is too late to save your Constitution, amongst other things.

Condoleeza disgusts me. I’m amazed they aren’t all in handcuffs yet…I mean the key figures in the current administration.

Do any of you still watch NBC, CBS, FOX (ugh), ABC, or…any mainstream media? The coverage is weeeeaaaaak.

OK, OK, but what’s to stop the following scenario:

1) Fitzgerald comes out his indictments.

2) Bush pardons everyone indicted. Maybe we get a token resignation or two, and another BS speech (”…mistakes were made, but we must stay the course…”)

The Republican-controlled Congress won’t allow an impeachment of Bush, and so it ends right there.

If the Dems regain some control in 2006, more might possible then, but that’s all speculation.

Remember how it went with Nixon. He didn’t resign until he knew he himself was going to be impeached. Knocking out a staff member or two won’t change things for us now. We need more.

I would just relish if Condoliar Rice herself is one of many indicted ones, and I believe it is a distinct possibility. I think it is likely at the vey least that the Dickster (Cheney) will be named as an undicted co-conspirator (unindicted only because he enjoys immunity while in office, but not from impeachment). If you recall, Cheney made some very public statements (”I did not ask Joe Wilson to go to Niger; I never met Joe Wilson”) which obviously smartly played right into the Rove-engineered smear campaign, even though Wilson never made any claim of receiving a personal request from Cheney to go to Niger, only from the CIA who got the request from Cheney’s office.

As to argument #2: You think Condi somehow indicated an indictment would be the result of this investigation because of her use of the word “report.”

I must point out your theory is entirely based on the premise that she KNEW a report would only be given in the case of an indictment.

You may be giving her way too much credit.

We also as a socitey have lost our backbone in that when japan bombed pearl we rose as a nation against them, when the cave dewller convinced people to fly planes into buildings we as a nation crawled into a hole after we wraped our houses in plastic and duct tape.
My point is it’s our fault their in there in the first place!
The House 2006= impeachment=charges of crimes against humanity,mass murder in that order.
With a standing order from the american people that NO PARDON is to be given to any of them!
Give them enough time and the total body count will excede WWII we cannot allow that to happen.

Anyone who thinks Condi would make a good president, please remember her words and attitude during the 9/11 commission hearings. This woman is a liar and stupid to boot. One of the stupidest lines I’ve ever heard out of this administration was Condi stating that “…our oceans no longer protect us.” First of all, Condi, they’re not OUR oceans. More importantly, how long have ICBMs been around? The ’50s or ’60s?

Also, you notice that Freeh didn’t bother mentioning this morning in his bitch session that the main reason that he didn’t get the funding he says he asked for so many times is because the Repugnicants controlled both houses? What a slimy rat! And Russert didn’t bother bringing up that, either.
