October 18th, 2005 at 8:31 amYou know, I want to hope this is true. I dearly pray that it is… but. There’s aways that niggling little doubt. These guys are the slimeiest of the slime. They are like slugs, leaving a trail of slime where ever they go. I hope they get nailed, but I’m just waiting for them to get off some how. Pardons, fleeing the country, something.
Until the indictments are handed down, I’ll keep the cork on my Champaign bottle. I may even chill it, but I won’t open it unitl the deed is done.

I once had an FBI agent explain to me his definition of conspiracy. He said that a conspiracy was like a train rolling across the country. Some of the people ride the train from the beginning to the end. Others get on and back off again in a short distance. The general idea being that depending on the length of your ride, you may be indicted, or you may not. They may have no intention of indicting you, but if you were on the train for a while…

Oh, there have been your rank and file murderers, rapists, child molestors, etc. but, as bad as they are, they pale in comparison to the lowlifes in this administration. Bush and his criminal toadie’s actions and indifference (whichever the case may be) have a dramatic effect upon hundreds of millions of people practically on a daily basis. And unless you happen to be one of the tiny fraction of people that has millions or even billions of dollars those effects are almost always negative.
The destruction of our middle class, the outsourcing of most of our manufacturing jobs, the insourcing of cheap labor. Are these things that make and maintain a strong populace? What about the cost of health care, auto insurance (most states require you to have this so you have to pay whatever they demand or you don’t drive). Has anyone notices that gas in this country has doubled since Bush took office in 2001? And he barely discusses the subject. I guess it’s because he and Dick(head) are making a killing (literally and figuratively).
These people are powermad, sinister scum hell bent on control. I hope in the coming days the entire country finally realizes just what kind people they really are. And sends them all to the slaughterhouse!

I wonder why? Does anyone know if this is true? I am not trying to start false rumors; I just want to know if my hearing is as bad as my wife tells me it is. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Vice President Dick Cheney’s chief of staff first learned about the CIA officer at the center of a leak investigation in a conversation with Cheney weeks before her identity became public in July 2003, The New York Times reported.
Notes of the conversation between Cheney’s chief of staff, Lewis Libby, and Cheney on June 12, 2003, put a spotlight on Cheney’s possible role in the leak and appear to run counter to Libby’s testimony to a federal grand jury that he first learned about the CIA officer, Valerie Plame, from reporters.
Plame’s identity was leaked to the media after her diplomat husband, Joseph Wilson, challenged the Bush administration’s prewar intelligence on Iraq.
Libby’s notes indicate that Cheney got his information about Plame from George Tenet, who was then the CIA director, according to the Times, which attributed its report to lawyers involved in the case.
