U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay on Thursday turned himself in at the Harris County sheriff’s bonding office, where he was photographed, fingerprinted and released on bond on state conspiracy and money laundering charges.
“He posted $10,000 bond and they have left the bonding office,” Lt. John Martin with the sheriff’s department said.

No joke, this looks like he had a professional headshot taken and then submitted it for his mugshot. This is bullsh!t.
Where is the OJ Simpson shot. The “I look like a criminal shot.” Why is this double standard being accepted?

Research has shown that genuine smiles are asymmetric (the left and right sides of the face do not match each other very well), while nongenuine/posed smiles are symmetric in their appearance. He sure looks happy here, but I have a feeling that his insides may not match his outsides.

DeLay I’m sure has a stack of $10,000 lying around that he rolls into cigerettes or joints. $10,000 means nothing to him, and he dosesn’t get any prison time so he can still communicate with the rest of the dirty Republican party.
Just will not be served until DeLay is behind bars for the crimes he will be convicted of doing.
PS: He’s smiling because we all knew DeLay wanted to aviod the mugshot, so he’s doing what he can to make it the best looking photo he can, since he knows he’ll have it in his history. Of COURSE he’s not actually happy about it. He even has his hair fixed nicely. It’s ONLY to save face, to not show weakness.

Shouldn’t the picture be from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department, and not Harris County? I live in DeLay’s District 22, and none of it is in Harris County. I know he was booked at the Fort Bend County Jail…So why a picture from Harris County?

How exactly did the attorney get a copy of the photo to hold up for the press? This is out right bullshit and the sheriffs department should be ashamed of itself for playing along. DeLay just made the Sherrifs look like stooges.

I also asked how it was possible that he was able to smile in his booking photo, considering the fact that my father just retired after 36 years on the LA Sherrif Dept. as a division chief in charge of the Twin Tower jails. October 20th, 2005 at 8:48 pmSo, I just got off the phone with my father, 36 year LA Sherrif vetern and for a long time in charge of the Twin Towers in LA. He said that there is no way that Tom DeLay should have been aloud to smile in his photo as it changes the facial features of the suspect.
I must also mention that my dad is a card carrying republican and he feels that what the Harris County Sherrifs Department did puts a bad mark on their record.

A man was arrested after neighbors reported seeing him sexually assaulting his family’s 10-year-old female Rottweiler, police said.
Ubaldo Vasquez Huizar, 39, was arrested for investigation of two counts of sexual assault on an animal, according to a statement from Ontario police Detective David McBride.
Detectives learned of the alleged crimes after going to Huizar’s home to notify him that he was required to register as a sex offender, the statement said. Huizar had been convicted last December of exposing himself to an 11-year-old girl, police said.
