From a statement from NATO, no less.

    Bush is f-*-c-k-e-d.

  2. The Muse says:

Bets that this shows that a guy on our payroll and who sat grinning with Laura Bush at the SOTU address, Mr. Chalibi, will be found up to his nipples in this?

Don’t wake me, this is the best dream ever…

Waiting to see on the SP’s Web site: Fitzgerald Issues Frog-Marching Guidelines

    WHOA.

Big time, as W would say.

  4. Andrew says:

I dunno, he hasn’t posted any documentation of permission to widen the scope of the investigation on his new spiffy website.

Think the W.H. may go down like in Nixon?

  6. Keith H. says:

The gallows on the old movie ‘hang ‘em high’ come to mind. The one where they hung like five guys at the same time.

  7. mimalee says:

    A presidential resignation is forthcoming

  8. Jay says:

Please Fitz, just make 20 copies of everything and be sure that they are distributed to various law enforcement officials so that in the event that you are “taken care of” (I bite my tongue as I say it)…..justice can continue to be pursued!

It’s getting extremely HOT in the capital!

  9. Mary Poppin says:

This is so much fun seeing the Repubs squirm. Of course they have no shame.

  10. Jay says:

Cheney’s fingerprints are all over this one. If Fitzgerald can get to the bottom of this…..it’s over for the Bush administration. Do not pass go, do not collect your stipend from Halliburton.

This thing may get extended, and make all of us puke for another few weeks. WTF? :)

  11. gary jarvis says:

If the Republicans fight these charges with most of the facts made public will this mean the end of the Republican Party? Would they reform as a more moderate association or as a wounded far right animal.

  12. Mary Poppin says:

This would be a great Christmas present.

  13. Madstork says:

WOW Fitzmas just keeps getting better and better.

  14. Drew Mackenzie says:

Rewriting history is like painting a fence. You can choose to color it however you want, but a nail is still shaped like a nail.

The facts will always stick out.

  15. cantstandya says:

FITZMAS, a festivus for the rest of us. Now we are waiting for the feats of strength Fitz. Put them away.

  16. Zookeeper says:

I hope it all comes down on my birthday, it would be the SWEETEST present ever!

  17. Terrytheturtle says:

This trail leads back to Cheney/Wolfy/Feith through Michael Leeden. This is where it gets interesting…

  19. Marie says:

Just tuned in here –#17 Terrytheturtle, I was going to post what I had heard, but I see you are ahead of me. The trail does lead to Cheney/Wolfy/Feith and it includes Ledeen, who leads to Bolton!
I can hardly wait to hear all the indictments this week.

  20. Bruce says:

I’m confused. I thought Wilson went to check the authenticity of the documents. The article indicates the documents came after his trip. Am I missing something?

  21. War4Sale says:

All roads lead back to WHIG and the OSP.

    Hang the bastards! Go, Fitz!!!

  22. Ryan Neat says:

Looks like XMas came early :)

  23. Marie says:

#21 Bruce, Wilson’s Niger trip occurred in early 2002. It was arranged via the CIA, after a poke from Cheney. Plame said her husband was former ambassador and was knowledgeable in mining which would come in handy in investigating whether the rumors of Iraq seeking yellow cake were true. Wilson came back and said it’s not happening. The neocons went ahead anyway and Bush mentioned the debunked documents in his SOU speech in 2003. Wilson went public after that and finally wrote his op-ed and went on MTP in July of 2003.
I think that’s the way it happened. Someone will correct me if I am mistaken.

  24. Tom Ronaldi says:

Get that champagne on ice folks! What a week for a frog-march. BRING ‘EM ON!!!

And this batch of crooked SOBs need to have REAL mug shots taken and made public, not some circus toothy-grin crap like the wingnuts in Houston got conned into felon-to-be Tom Delay.

    Can you say President Hastert?

  25. AckSyn JAckSyn says:
