    A tragic milestone is imminent.

  2. Drew Mackenzie says:

I remember them all. Not specifically, but in generality, as I prayed that the names of the dead were unfamiliar.

We could leave today if we wanted. Remember that tomorrow, when you finally want to leave.

  3. Pablo in Mexico says:

    SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

    PULL OUT OF IRAQ NOW

  4. Andrew says:

God Save America from its leaders. God Save our Brave Soldiers.

  5. Brian says:

I actually rather enjoyed watching footage of Iraqis voting. I DO think it’s a positive step. But it has been needlessly violent and unorganized.
Soldiers lives could have been saved with a sound plan/smarter people.

  6. Citizen80203 says:

To have used our young men and women in such a way is the real treason.
When I was used by Bush Sr., I at least knew that we had the proper equipment, allies, and goals to get the job done and come home. This president’s disdain for our military can only come from the free pass he received when he had a responsibility to serve.

It would be, if the votes were honestly counted, and if the elected government held actual power in the country.

A dreaded milestone indeed. It’s sad to me that most citizens need a wake-up call like this. We should be filled with the exact same sadness and outrage every day, whether it be the 80th, the 800th or the 1,996th soldier killed. Every death and every shattered life represents an unnecessary cost borne out of arrogant, blind Neocon recklessness. Shame on them all.

  9. Zookeeper says:

Their blood will stain George W. Bush’s hands forever. The shame of this war will be a shadow over the United States forever.

  10. Navy Vet says:

Bush will fieght to your death his right to his opinion. Now thats a leader.
