I wonder if it is five people, or one person on five counts?

  2. Pete Bogs says:

it’s got to be more than one person… we can probably guess that Scooter is one of them…

  3. Pete Bogs says:

who’s having the press conference, Fitzy or the indicted?

  4. wisedup says:

    I am having a grrrrreat day!…please join me! 5…hmmmm
which 5….or 5 holes in a sinking ship. Ahhhhhhhh

  5. SpudgeBoy says:

5 is my lucky number. Now I just need 5 convictions.

  6. Jon says:

For a complete collection of the latest PlameGate news, briefings, timelines, statutes and other essential documents, see:

    “The Rove/PlameGate Scandal Resource Center.”

  7. QUALAR says:

Get your list of the White House Iraq Group (WHIG) and be ready to check them off for criminal conspiracy. Just like an indictment for a organized crime family. Card made a big mistake in forming this group. The CIA will be popping the champagne shortly.

  8. BelmontShore says:

    I wanted more. :(

But, I’ll be happy with the “right” five.

    Guesses?

  9. Drew Mackenzie says:

    Libby. Bolton. Rove. Cheney. Card.

Well, probably not Card. It would be nice though.

  10. Stubain says:

Anyone care for a prediction? Probably not, but here goes…

Dick Cheney will be one of the indicted and will immediately resign. The next two in succession (Dennis Hasert and Ted Stevens) will decline the job; Condi Rice will become Vice Pres.

Anyone care for a conspiracy theory? Probably not, but here goes…

When this story was just barely taking shape back in ‘03, Rove and Cheney put their heads together to see how they could capitalize on it. Knowing all the dirty laundry would eventually come out and the fit would hit the shan, and knowing that Condi Rice would have a better chance than anyone of beating Hillary in ‘08 if she was the Vice Pres than Sec of State, they both set into motion deliberate events that would secure an indictment for Cheney. Repubs love Cheney, but losing him as a heavy hitter in the party would not be an end-game and Rove and Cheney both knew this. In ‘03, when the White House was unsure of reelection, plans none the less had to be made for the good of the party “just in case” because a “Pres HR Clinton” would be devastating for the Repubs. Pure genius strategy got GW Bush in the Texas State House and then twice in the White House. This is political strategy, plain and simple.

  11. blogenfreude says:

We need at least 52 indictments so we can have a deck of cards to play with. Libby = Queen of Hearts. Cheney is the King of Clubs. Bush? You be the judge…

  12. Clyde the Ripper says:

    #11

You are close but it must be carried to its logical conclusion. Once Condum is VP, Bush pardons everybody including himself and then resigns. Condom becomes President and names DUHbya as the VP then resigns. DUHbya then names Cheney as VP and rehires all those he pardoned. Same old, same old and every body at bushco is happy!

  13. not_gonna_happen says:

    Arrange your bingo cards everybody!

  14. Ryan Neat says:

CNN is reporting that Cheney will resign tomorrow.

Also, apparently the Fritz investigation is widening to the Deputy National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley – Condi’s former deputy – which means it will probably open up a can of whoop ass on Condi eventually. Any ‘hopes’ stubain and the other rednecks had of Condi ever being anything more than an historical footnote appears to be coming to an end! Actually she’ll probably be infamous in history, as the woman who allowed 9/11 to happen, and then who helped to illegally trump up a war of aggression. Get ready for the ride folks – this is liable to get bumpy!

What Stubain and the other under-read morons of the reichwing don’t realize, is that which lifts you up, usually takes you down. The tactics of Rove that got Bush elected, are the very tactics that will destroy the republican machine. It’s called Karma – and it IS a natural part of existence. Those ignorant of it, always pay eventually, and in ways they never imagined!

    1) If I am such an ignorant, racist, loser, bigot, redneck, how could I possibly “hope” for a black woman in the White House? Seems like you are tripping over your own words.
    2) I never said I approved of it, nor did I try to justify it, I merely “call like I see it.”

“Actually she’ll probably be infamous in history, as the woman who allowed 9/11 to happen, and then who helped to illegally trump up a war of aggression.”
    Comment by Ryan Neat

Huh? Come on Ryan, how could you possibly justify this statement? Aside from your gutter mouth, I respect your opinion, but the above statement is a tough sale.

“Get ready for the ride folks – this is liable to get bumpy!”
    Comment by Ryan Neat

    Indeed.

One more thing Ryan… I see you have not response to post #81 under “DeLay Flies Corporate Jet to Arraignment”

  16. Bowdler says:

I think they would need at least 53 cards to include bush. Normally I would wish gitmo on no one, but it would be apropriate for these guys.

  17. Tommy The Tiger says:

    Ryan,
Maybe its because your taking the typical Republican line of skirting the issues while pointing out your patriotism?

  18. progressive and proud says:

Ryan, I always respect your posts and agree with you. I too, don’t go over old threads unless I’m looking for something.

You know, all, Condi or Hillary will not NOT become president in 08 or 12. It will just not happen. I’m in the south right now and believe you me, NO. Rednecks ain’t gonna’ do it. This is a dead issue. I don’t mind any minority being president, but I know of which I speak and all the troll’s Hillary bashing is a waste of their time. Time in which they could be trying to give their party a little fall cleaning.

I believe there would be an African American in the office well before a woman of whatever color. OBAMA is my choice.

  19. Pablo in Mexico says:

Most of you are barely scratching the surface here. This is deep, deep shit.

Remember please that Tenet resigned. Why you ask. Because he saw what was coming and wanted out from under it.

Then Bushie boy appointed Goss to head the CIA. Why, you may ask. One reason and one reason only. Goss is a fellow neo-con and Bush wanted the CIA brought down.

Look at what is happening to the CIA under Goss. It is torn to shreds. It is a mere shell of its former self. Bushie boy wanted in this way, because he KNEW what was coming. A wounded duck cant fly.

This leaves all the power of intelligence gathering in the hands of who else but Rumhead. This again is exactly what bushie boy wanted. The Rumhead agency is bigger than the CIA, I will bet on that.

But remember folks, Military Intelligence is an oxymoron.

The point of all this is that the shrub wants everything in the hands of the military so that he can effectively call for martial law at any time he wants and it will be executed by a loyal fellow neo-con idiot by the name of Rumsfeld.

  20. progressive and proud says:

So first thing on our agenda, as citizens of America who believe in their rights as citizens, to impeach this freak. I’m all for it.

  21. Electric-Escape.net says:

    Countdown to Fritzmas

By all accounts, Patrick Fitzgerald will announce his decisions in the Valerie Plame/CIA leak case either today or tomorrow — and the odds-on favorite says that indictments will be issued for Karl “Turd Blossom” Rove and I. Lewis “Scotter” Libby, …

  22. dsx says:

I don’t get it. Wilson has been misrepresenting his story from day 1. Why such a big deal over the wife who hadnt been undercover in like 7 years. Wilson lied about what he found (or didn’t find) in Niger, he lied about discussing with his CIA debriefers certain documentation and signatures he never saw, and he lied about the CIA telling him of certain classified documents and sources. His New York Times op-ed was fiction, as was information he later leaked to the Washington Post, information he gave to other media outlets, and significant aspects of his book.
