  5. keba says:

The papers will be on his website at noon. Karl Rove must be indicted but Libby will bring up all questions of where he got the info.

  6. The Northeast Dilemma says:

Oh no – what will liberals do if only Libby is indicted? I mean, I thought Karl was guilty of something because I hate him so much.

You people are a pathetic lot. If Bush has any interest in remaining President, he better appoint a conservative we can strangle you with. Otherwise, we’ll let you impeach him.

  7. Mary Poppin says:

We need to impeach Old Bushie and take our country back from these RIGHT WING RELIGIOUS NUTS.

  8. RemoveBush says:

ND, you and SS are prime examples of why this country has sunken so low. You spew hatred all over the place. To you, your kind are the only people in this great country.

People who don’t think or act like you need to be killed. Your kind is sick. This country was built on differences and diversity, but all you want is a country who follows blindly.

Get a clue, people of America are different and this is our country not yours. Try and grow up and realize this, and I realize I am asking a lot here.

I am not affiliated with any party, and I think we need to do away with parties and hire only the qualified person. So don’t go and spew that hatred stuff at me that I’m a Democrate and all you want to do is strangle me.

Just reading these posts, the people who talk in suck a hatred manner are the Republican based people. There are a few Democrates that do that, but 80% of the poeple slinging hatred are the Republicans. This should tell you something about why our country is in the condition it is in. The morality of our country has been flushed down the toilet because of these kinds of views.

GROW UP, and think about the country for once instead of yourselves.

  9. Northeast says:

in re: Northeast Dilemma’s: “Otherwise, we’ll let you impeach him.” etc….

Truth got you down? Or is it the lyin’: The reasons for this war, justifications for torture, a staggeringly un-republican pissing away of this country’s finances, and all the other bait-and-switches you voted into office.

Keep hiding from the reality of your party, Northeast Dilemma; its critical mass is going to bitch-smack you any moment now. If not entirely today, soon enough. Tho’ it can’t be soon enough for me. You freakin’ idiot. You’re a joke.

  10. Mary Poppin says:

#8 RemoveBush I totally agree with you. We need to take our country back. This country belongs to all American.

  11. shmoe says:

Would it not be funny if he came out and said that there is no basis for any charges?

What would be the democratic outrage be if no charges are filled? and who would they blame?

  12. Drew Mackenzie says:

    “if only Libby is indicted”

For a party that has made cronyism a requirement for advancement, guilt by association can leave them very vulnerable.

Tell me, how does the White House distance itself… from itself? And in what possible way does it help the country?

It’s time to see some resignations.

  13. mmmm ... sultry says:

#11 … you keep clutching to that little wish, my friend … clap if you believe …

  14. RemoveBush says:

#11, No that would not be funny at all. One or more, probably more, people revealed a CIA operative and this is one of the most treasonus acts there are. IT IS NOT FUNNY at all.

I personally want to see an impeachment because this administration has falsified documents/information to get us into a war that was not needed. Was Sadamm a bad man? Sure! Did we need to invade Iraq? NO. So how is it funny?

2000 soldiers died. Were you in the military? I was and I can tell you that I certainly would not want to be in a war that was based on a lie.

Another example of how the Republicans think. A blow job is a crime, or at least lying about it, but altering or not providing all documents which lead to the death of over 2000 soldiers is OK.

Now I am starting to understand why the country seems to have more problems when managed by Republicans than by Democrates.

  15. ThomNYC says:

Sure, our friends on the other side of the aisle spew lots of hatred over all of us nasty “bleeding heart”, “baby killing”, “atheistic”, “race mixing” liberals.

    They talk about shirtless, hairy, lesbians being our base. But, I ask them this;

Explain to more than half the country and an overwhelming majority of the world exactly what you love about Bush and his administration.

Stop spinning everything for just a minute. Stop making up new labels for liberals. Stop obsessing on your weird secret discussions and strategies and tell us what it is you love…

Because, I’ll tell you what. We, the majority, don’t see what you Bush supporters see. Enlighten us.

  18. The Northeast Dilemma says:

Mary Poppin – you can only impeach Bush if people like me say so. I am holding judgement until the President names another replacement to Justice O’Connor. If the President gives in to the most hateful, anti-American elements in this country and picks a liberal for the seat, the best punishment for him would be to let those elements impeach him.

Interesting how much influence the right has – you people are just upset because you now have to compete. You don’t own the media anymore. Let’s hope Bush is smart and appoints Sam Alito to the Court.

  19. Northeast says:

Northeast Dilemma: “you can only impeach Bush if people like me say so”

Enjoy it while it lasts. 2006 is comin’ around the bend.

  20. The Northeast Dilemma says:

#19 – yes, it is. AND when Democrats go ape-sh*t over a conservative nominee and we use it against red state Dims, you won’t have as much success as you think.

It’s up to Bush – does he want liars like you people to be in charge or does he want to push a conservative agenda. It’s very simple.

Yes kevo, we most certainly will.

I’m hoping Mr. Fitzgerald breaks the lid off this corrupt neocon White House machine.

    He already has, my friend.

  22. Pete Bogs says:

MSNBC says this will be at noon…

NED, any indictment will hurt Bush’s already wounded presidency…

  23. AckSyn JAckSyn says:

Rove is guilty as Libby. He just Happened to Roll Over first.

Funny thing about crooks, if one Rats out the Other he gets a lighter, if any, Punishment though he is equally guilty.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Legal sources said Fitzgerald has informed President George W. Bush’s top political adviser, Karl Rove, that he will be spared indictment on Friday, although he will remain under investigation and in legal jeopardy. Rove’s attorney, Robert Luskin, had no immediate comment. Legal sources said Libby appeared likely to be charged with making false statements to the grand jury.

    See Karl Squirm?

Karl can stay now, Hes Toast anyway you look at it, as is Bush Cheney Administrations Credibility.

Karl has been Identified right along with the other Cheney Neophytes.

Discrediting Bush, Cheney and Kristolites has been Done. That was one Target.

Guess whos Next NED, you and your Corporate Masters?
    Senators?
    The Bankers?
    The Democrats?
    The Centrist Media?
    Hollyweird?

C’mon NED wake up Already. This isnt about Republicans Liberals or Democrats, or even your posts. Its about the Peoples Government and getting rid of Scumbags like Clinton , Bush and Porkbarrel Senators. Delay and Frist etc..

People are Fed up with Cronyism and Corruption in BOTH Political Factions.

Lets Take out the Trash, and Kick it to the Curb –AJ

  24. Pete Bogs says:

ok… details at noon, press conference at 2 PM…

  25. WC says:

    NED…

“you can only impeach Bush if people like me say so.”

People like you? Oh, you mean Republicans who are in the House of Representatives? Surely you don’t mean everyday ordinary citizens.

“If the President gives in to the most hateful, anti-American elements in this country and picks a liberal for the seat, the best punishment for him would be to let those elements impeach him.”

So impeachment would be OK if he picks a liberal nominee. Are you serious? How comical.

Tell me this, NED. I think you’ll agree that this investigation centers around the alleged outing of a CIA agent. You obviously believe there is nothing to it.

Question 1: explain why the CIA requested the investigation if there was “nothing to it.”

Question 2: why do you think administration officials would even BOTHER to discuss Joe Wilson’s wife (as “Ms. Plame,” “Mrs. Wilson,” or “Joe Wilson’s wife”) amongst themselves or to reporters if there was “nothing to this” and if Joe Wilson truly lied about his findings?

  26. WC says:

Awful quiet around here. Everybody must be at lunch…

  27. WC says:

Hey, NED, another question…and I admit it is a remote possibility. Call it hypothetical.

Suppose that indictments do come down and over the next few months, Bush continues to sink, and Americans continue with their apathy against the Iraq occupation and with the Bush administration. Then suppose the Republican members of Congress start feeling that the Bush administration is dragging them down with it, and decide to impeach hoping that it will save their arses in 2006. I mean, that would be “people like (you)” saying so.

Would that be a good reason to impeach? Or are you still limiting your acceptance of impeachment to the nomination of a liberal to the SCOTUS?

  28. ThomNYC says:

NED, you are being offensive. Why? Rove manipulating information – not a big deal. Libby attempting to shield his client – not a big deal. Cheney possibly trying to find ways to discredit those who disagree – in itself, not a big deal.

The “liberal” press playing the tunes of NeoCons for the past several years – not responsible – but stuff happens.

It isn’t one single little issue that is bringing America back to the center. It is the incredible disregard for America shown by most of this Administration since they got to DC.

You can’t escape their miscalculations. Even if you write untrue, rude, ugly comments about your opponent, the fact is Bush’s people have lost a great position of power.

  29. Sharon Cox says:

Yippie! Finelly some one of honor has steped up to the plate. We the people of America Thank You! Mr. Fitzgerald…….Blessings

I dont Know how many here have seen or read this Senate Inquiry.

Its a Year Old 10.2004 but not so well read.

Today it fits to post it Again.

    Kudos To Senator Levin –AJ

Official Inquiry (Pdf Format) into Under Secretary of Defense Doug Feiths OSP (Office of Special Plans); and How the Slanted Intelligence was used by Bush Co. to take us to War.
    http://www.globalsecurity.org/intell/library/congress/2004_rpt/102104inquiryreport.pdf

    In Short;
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This report is the result of an inquiry initiated on June 27, 2003 by Senator Carl Levin, Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), and conducted by the SASC Minority Staff. The report focuses on 1) the establishment of a non-Intelligence Community source of intelligence analysis in the office of Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith; and 2) the extent to which policy makers utilized that alternative source rather than the analyses produced by the Intelligence Community (IC) with regard to the Iraq-al Qaeda relationship. This report is highly relevant to the current Congressional consideration of intelligence reform. As the House and Senate consider legislation in response to the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, it is of critical importance that any new structure or organization correct, to the greatest possible degree, one of the most serious and persistent flaws of the current system of intelligence analysis and estimates: the politicization of intelligence, or, stated another way, the shaping of intelligence to support administration policy. This report shows that in the case of Iraq’s relationship with al Qaeda, intelligence was exaggerated to support Administration policy aims primarily by the Feith policy office, which was determined to find a strong connection between Iraq and al Qaeda, rather than by the IC, which was consistently dubious of such a connection. In order to present a public case that heightened the sense of threat from Iraq, Administration officials reflected more closely the analysis of Under Secretary Feith’s policy office rather than the more cautious analysis of the IC.
