In response to this letter from Reps. Jane Harman (D-CA), John Conyers (D-Michigan), Tom Lantos (D-CA) and Rush Holt (D-NJ), Fitzgerald will release a public report on the investigation, MSNBC reports. (MSNBC just retracted this report.)
Watch 60 Minutes this Sunday, 10/30. Holt will be talking to Ed Bradley about the investigation. Holt is a member of the House Intelligence Committee and was the first Member of Congress to challenge the administration and introduce a Resolution of Inquiry that would have required the Bush administration to turn over relevant documents on this issue to Congress.
I thought he was going to do this at noon today anyway…
October 28th, 2005 at 12:12 pmMaybe I’m just cynical but I feel like the White House is going to get away from all of this fairly unscathed. No charges against Rove?
October 28th, 2005 at 12:13 pmExcellent news… I hope Congress can start their own inquiry some day…
October 28th, 2005 at 12:14 pmOh, spoke too soon ….
