  1. Pete Bogs says:

looks like Libby will have to scoot out of the White House… Rovey shouldn’t be too far behind…

  2. Rotwang says:

My guess is that Scooter was in Karl’s trunk this morning, and the Jag is halfway to Mobile by now.

  3. not_gonna_happen says:

Awaiting Bush to say how “disappointed” he is in Fitz and the grand jury….

  4. Tom Allen says:

This is just another example of the politicization of criminals.

Oh, wait, did I get that talking point backwards? It’s so hard to tell these days.

  5. Ugh says:

When was the last time Fitz held a press conference? This has me worried that this is the end, he doesn’t need to hold a press conference to announces Libby’s indictment and say Rove is still under investigation.

    And 2pm! Why not now!

  6. Leakin' Dick Cheney says:

I guess they got Scooter on a technicality.

    Four times.

    Sh*t.

  7. Pete Bogs says:

MSNBC says this will happen at NOON now…

  8. Paulette says:

Paper work to be release at noon, press conference at 2

  9. Paulette says:

I heard that Joe Wilson will also give a press conference?

  10. Jay says:

Well you know Paulette, according to our rightwing friends, Wilson is the real criminal in outing his own wife. Maybe he’s anouncing his guilt? :)

You have to admit, that line of reasoning from wingnutia was (in the words of Stephanie Miller): extra-crispy bucket o’ crazy!

  11. Paulette says:

    “Wingnutia” – That’s hysterical!

  12. Paulette says:

Even Faux news broke away from the fearless leader’s broken record “war on terror” speech. Doesn’t he make his own self nauseous already?

  13. mimalee says:

In answer to comment No. 5; I feel sure that Mr. Fitzsimmons understands what he is doing and that the conference being set for 2 p.m. had great significant.
Maybe a deal is still being offered to Mr. Rove, maybe not but it is something to think about. Rest assured Mr. Rove is thinking, and thinking, and thinking, and
    thinking——————-

  14. Rotwang says:

There’s no doubt in my mind that that Wilson’s behind this. I just can’t figure out how he managed to trick all these people into lying!

Damn, that guy’s slicker’n owl shit.

  15. Paulette says:

Can Bush pardon (G_d forbid) anyone who is indicted to prevent the flow of more information?

  16. Rotwang says:

#15 Not sure that’s an option at the indictment stage. I’m pretty sure he has to kill them.

  17. Paulette says:

#10 – Stephanie Miller, Keith Olbermann, Jon Stewart for ‘08!

  18. WC says:

Nah. You simply misconstrued yourself. (Oh…that sounds painful.)

  19. Sharon Cox says:

Yippie! 5 counts against Scooter…Let the games begin. Oh happy day!…Blessings

  20. Sylvia Zimmer says:

    # 15
I read on Sen. Conyer’s blog that he had collected up to 10.000 letters from citizens to Bush NOT to pardon anyone who might be indicted.
Don’t know if that would make a difference, given that Bush doesn’t give a …. what the American people want, but I think it’s still a good idea and great achievement.
By the way, I’m not all that familiar with all the Senators in the US: I’m not totally sure, but isn’t Mr. Conyers a Republican?
