[...] There are a few instances in the indictments that point to a larger role that Dick Cheney may have played in the leak. Here are some examples: 1. Libby was “advised by the Vice President” that “Wilson’s wife worked” at the CIA in the Counterproliferation Division (see #9). The verb “advised by” is oddly-placed and echoes language from fact #16 when Libby “advises” Ari Fleischer about Plame’s identity. The verb seems to be synonymous with “instructed.” This discussion, referenced in fact #9, follows a staff meeting in the VP’s office the preceding day (see #8) in which Wilson was discussed. Was Cheney trying to emphasize what he saw as the most strategic attack to Pincus’s column? 2. While onboard Air Force Two with Cheney, Libby is reported to have “discussed with other officials aboard the plane” what to say in response to media inquires about Wilson (see #22). 3. On p.21 of the indictment, a transcript of Libby’s grand jury testimony is provided. The prosecutors ask Libby why he was telling reporters that his source of knowledge for Plame’s identity was “a reporter rather than the Vice-President.” [...]

QUESTION: If Bush and Cheney knowingly ordered or encouraged, in any way, Libby and/or Rove to leak the identity of CIA agent Valerie Plame-Wilson to the press, might that constitute charges of conspiracy against Bush and Cheney?

The most important point in the Frit’s talk was that Plame had been outted. This was passing on classified information. AND damage had been mode to national security. The wonderfully clear talk about the baseball player being hit in the haed by a pitcher [Libby].

Wow. I'm so glad I read the actual Indictments because, wow. This is going to be huge. This indictment clearly lays all of the neccissary facts to bring a future indictment about the acutaly leaking of Plame's identity. It states, she was undercover, breaking her cover was against various laws (love the open book) and most importantly, Libby knew that he was discussing classified information. Brillant. Charging Libby with obstructing justice gives Fitzgerald a reason to extend his investigation and gives him a great stick to beat Libby with. Libby can take the wrap and be charged with possible treason or he can spill the beans and place the blame higher up on the food chain.

SS says let the Fitzgerald lynching begin? So, there you are folks, THAT is exactly why I am not a republican. That angry vengeful attitude towards anyone who calls them on their bull is a serious mental defect. Not that it can't be overcome with some serious reading of some intelligent material, but one has to admit certain things about oneself. Introspection is key and the republican's lack of being able to step back and see what's in front of them keeps them from progressing. They just seem too self involved. It's not even about winning but beating the others.

Anyway, Fitz is the man. And, hey, not too hard on the eyes either. SCOTUS I say for this honest citizen!

That angry vengeful attitude towards anyone who calls them on their bull is a serious mental defect. Not that it can’t be overcome with some serious reading of some intelligent material, but one has to admit certain things about oneself. Introspection is key and the republican’s lack of being able to step back and see what’s in front of them keeps them from progressing. They just seem too self involved. It’s not even about winning but beating the others.

Anyway, Fitz is the man. And, hey, not too hard on the eyes either. SCOTUS I say for this honest citizen!
