    How is he ever going to find another nominee who thinks he’s just the bestest president ever!? ;-)

    Bush should make his choice with some kind of reality show. Throw in Judge Joe Brown and Judge Judy just for flavor. They could call it something like…’The Supreme Apprentice’.

    See The Master of the Senate, by Robert Caro, for a great description of the role of the South in the Senate in blocking EVERYTHING to do with civil rights, foreign affairs, labor, minimum wage, etc. that underpin the modern world.

    They are just stuck in another century.

    I agree with Sen. Feinstein, nominate the CJ of the California Supreme Court.
