McClellan: Everyone in “the White House Has Been Cooperating Fully With The Special Counsel”
During a press conference this afternoon White House spokesman Scott McClellan repeatedly declined to comment on the leak scandal, citing on an ongoing investigation. Yet, Scooter Libby has been charged by the special prosecutor with obstruction of justice, and McClellan just said this:
The president directed everybody in the White House to cooperate fully with the special counsel…The White House has been cooperating fully with the special counsel, and we will continue to do so.
That is an explicit comment on the investigation. He is saying that everyone is cooperating and that would include Libby. The clear implication is that, despite the mountain of evidence Fitzgerald presented, his indictment is not well-founded.
The White House continues to comment on the investigation. They are just limiting their comments to denials.

Roberts asked if Alito could be seen as “sloppy seconds” after the Bush declaration that Miers was “the best.” It less than a few minutes before Drudge, Fox and other rightie-tighties took issue with Roberts slang expression, and Roberts has already offered an official apology. Aren’t they so quick to be offended? They are so very sensitive and delicate — the mudslingers, the liars who give bashing a bad name.

November 3rd, 2005 at 2:20 amYesterday in my country ( The Netherlands) there was a tv programm about the killing of Theo van Gogh, today there will be a program about the killing of Pim Fortuyn. Thre is a lot of prove that the secret forces such as your FBI and CIA knew about the actions against these two people and they didn’t do anything, they just let it happen. Now they say they lost the prove and e-mails of the organisation who did the killing. In the tv-program it was shown that the killer was cobnnected with the AIVD ( dutch cia ). It will be a hot winter over here as well as in your country. All over the world the dark forces have problems and are weakening everyday, see Italy with Berlosconi, Blair in England, they all have problems right now. Love will concur all and love will heal the world. Watch your news and see how they try to make you scared, don’t be, there is no reason. There will be no birdflue outbreak, there will be no nuclear war against Iran or Syria. All a matter of making people scared, gecause scared people need a hold on and geus who is giving that hold on, right, your and mine government. They will loose it all and justice will take its course!!
