However, I think the idea that Chalabi is batting for the Iranians is a bit naive. Chalabi bats for himself. He probably did co-operate with Iran a couple of years back… in order to shore up Shi’ia support in Iraq. I’d expect he’s now doubling-dealing with Iran, just hedging his bets in case Dick decides on another military misadventure.

The Iraqi govt. claims that Halliburton owes them 208 million bucks. THey claim they paid Halliburton for services they never recieved. Of course, Halliburton denies that.

Personally, I think there is a hidden agenda here. McCain screams and yells about something that all of our elected officials (except nine stupid republicans) support, Bushie opposes, makes everybody outraged, huge media blitz, knowing McCains measure will pass, McCain brings a measure to the American people that a 3rd grader could have written, (To: CIA, no torturing people, okay) and voila! McCains a hero and the next Prez of the United States.

It is a disorder that can be treated but NED must ask for help first.
