Kristol: If The White House Manipulated Intel, “It Might Well Be An Indictable Offense”

Even Bill Kristol admits that fabricating intelligence for a war is wrong. From Kristol’s Weekly Standard column, posted 11/5/05:

Last Tuesday, Harry Reid took to the floor of the Senate and asserted that the Bush administration had “manufactured and manipulated intelligence in order to sell the war in Iraq and attempted to destroy those who dared to challenge its actions.” This is a serious charge; if it were true, it might well be an indictable offense. But it is, in reality, a slander.

Kristol calls it “slander,” but it looks like he spoke too soon. The day after Kristol posted his column, the New York Times reported on an al Qaeda official in U.S. custody, who was, according to a February 2002 report, “intentionally misleading the debriefers.” Months after the report, the administration continued to use his evidence as “credible.”

Check your next Weekly Standard for Kristol’s principled call for indictments.

Will someone, please, lock these lying bastards up and throw away the key. BushCo = Death & Lies

  2. Darth Filibustrous Says:

The Republican talking point is whether intelligence was "manipulated". That's not the charge. Our charge is that the CIA product (which was itself wrong) was EVEN FURTHER "cherrypicked" in public statements, thus taking the country to war. It's not that the Energy Dept and State Dept were "manipulated". It's that their dissent was IGNORED.

Don't trust Kristol, that's all I have to say.

  3. Andrew C. White Says:

I think Bill Kristol is a fantastic comedian. His stuff makes me laugh all the time.

  4. I-RIGHT-I Says:

With Democrats stepping up their attacks over prewar intelligence on Iraq, the Republican leader of the Senate Intelligence Committee said on Sunday that the panel's initial work had found no evidence of "political manipulation or pressure" in the use of such intelligence.

Excuse me. I have to go laugh my ass off now at the thought the Filthy Left could out fox stupid old George.

So the President MUST take the advice of the diplomatic corps? Really? Is that part of that living breathing ever changing according to circumstances US Constitution you Leftist Losers are always talking about?

DESTROY THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM! Pass it on.

  6. Darth Filibustrous Says:

#5 - ooh, the Republican leader said so? It must be true then! Has Pat Roberts attended Harriet Miers' "Ethics 101" class yet?

  7. Bob Davis Says:

I find it hard to understand how the Republicans were able to manipulate the intelligence to the extent that they were. It is a mystery, indeed. While it would not take much intelligence to get the intelligence wrong, it would certainly take some intelligence to manipulate the intelligence, wouldn't it? Well, I guess nobody is claiming that Bush manipulated anything - therefore he must have been susceptible to the manipulations of the Cheney cabal.

  8. Jay Says:

I'm pretty sure once Colin Powell admitted that the intelligence case he sold the world was a pack of lies that it more or less blew the administration's case for war out of the water....but that's just me. Leave it to the "filthy" wingnuts to deny reality so often that it makes my head hurt.

  9. Darth Filibustrous Says:

#6 - No, never said that. First of all, the diplomatic corps was right, and the neocons were wrong about WMD. But when you face the public & congress, you cannot make up crap that you KNOW are strongly disputed. That's in the constitution.

Enjoy your narrowing majority while you can. And then crawl back under your rock and sleep off the next 10 years while we put back together the country that you and your fellow hate-mongers have torn apart in 5 short years...

I think that as the noose tightens the Bush team will want to avoid a Milosevic trial so they will blame gold old Vice President Dick. Old Manipulating Dick as I call him. Dick was twisting. Dick was bending. Dick was hiding. It was Dick, Dick, Dick.

So, now we have the figleaf to give the Republicans in Congress. We know they won't inpeach unless a Dick was invloved.

My cousin just died in a single car accident- on his way to work as a recruiter. He did two tours in Iraq, as a Marine near the Syrian border.

I want to know HOW MANY of these people come home to die in single car accidents? Is anyone able to track this down? It seems pretty unusual to me that there are under-reported head injuries and post traumatic stress that goes without mental health care. Even recovering from one of these problems- suicide not withstanding- there is a difficulty in processing thoughts, which could lead to more "accidents." How many healthy 34 year olds (or figure 20- 40 year olds even) are there ususally in single car accidents?

Could someone in the think tank that is American Progress please check this out?

Here is how hypocritical the left is: A recent study of 538 movies found 74% had shown the actors smoking in them and study also found that 38% of young smokers took up the habit because of tobacco use on the big screen. Thousands and thousands of people die each year due to lung cancer caused by smoking, yet Hollywood turns a blind eye toward it. If liberals really cared about our well being, they would put out smoke-free movies.

  22. Joe Sixpack Says:

I have a fairy tale for you.

Once upon a time, there was a little prince who, because he was from a royal family, became king of a huge kingdom. The kingdom was not only huge, it was rich and for the most part, happy. And all the people lived in relative peace and security.

The king was wasn't as happy as his people. He paled in the shadow of the former ruler in both intelligence and prestige, and stood in the shadow of those kings who had come before him. He vowed that if ever he had the chance, he would make a name for himself for all the ages to remember him by.

The king and his henchmen set out to destroy the lower classes and raise the wealth of the barons and wealthy landowners. He corrupted the laws that protected the environment and hindered the rich, or stood in the way of the most powerful families from which he drew his support.

The king changed the meanings of truth, honor, and justice to fit his fancy, running roughshod over the peasants while he spent many months whiling away the time on his brushy estate. The people grew restless and began questioning his misuse of power and the long months he spent far away from the castle and taking care of the people's problems. However, enemies in far away lands attacked the kingdom and scared the people, who now looked to the king for protection. But the king was reading a book about goats, and didn't know what to do.

Regaining his composure, the king had his high sheriff scare the masses into submission with screams of terror and hate, and then bullied the people's representatives into becoming his lackeys.

The king took the kingdom to war, chasing the evil enemy who had attacked the kingdom across the wastelands and into dark caves, far away in distant mountains. Then he waged another needless war, leaving the kingdom still exposed to the evildoers hiding in the far away caves. The costs of that war drained the wealth from the kingdom and brought its once mighty army of courageous knights to its knees.

The people grew increasingly disillusioned. The king even went so far as to use his court jesters to spread hate and discontent against those who disagreed with him. The masses, struggling under the weight of heavy debt and despair, finally saw the king for what he really was: a ideological despot----and they rose up and threw his court into the castle's dungeons and the evil king fled from his office for the hinterlands. Things immediately got better and they lived happily ever after.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I told you it was a fairy tale.

  24. Randy Says:

    Joe,

Cute story - sounds like you have way too much time on your hands though. Its too bad your side wastes all of its time on such pleasures. You should be developing a agenda not based on hated of Bush and where your side would take this country. Bottom line, the dems will never again regain their power unless they drop the extreme left wing fringe death hold it has on the party.

  25. jjw Says:

Right. The left wing has a fringe death hold. That's why Clinton passed welfare reform, etc. etc. What planet are you from?

Well, Randy, I do have a lot of time on my hands lately, and evidently you do too or you wouldn't have read my silly post. As a rightwinger myself, I can't speak for the liberals here---other than to say that their agenda is already developed: just undo all the laws and damage Bush has already caused. I do agree with you about the left wing fringe holding the party.

But correct me if I'm wrong, I think the masses will prefer the left for a healthy change and refreshing breather, instead of another dose of the rightwing idealogue agenda controlled by the religious right and corporate bootlickers. You like bottom lines, try that one.

I mean, if I was a liberal instead of a conservative, I would be rubbing my hands together and grinning in the wake of the 2006 elections----no agenda even needed.

**** Jay, OIL is ONE of the true reasons we invaded Iraq. (And for that, I am THANKUL - it is a national security issue; but maybe not for the left.) You might prefer tallow making and burning fat for candles - the other reasons for going after Iraq include:
a.) Saddam's breach of the cease fire agreement
b.) Saddam's assasination plot against the first Pres. Bush.
c.) Saddam's corruption of the UN Food for Oil program - giving him unfettered access to bilions of $$.
    Any more q's???

Here's how I dare: There had been many rumblings about the Holocaust BEFORE we got involved - that was NOT FDR's focus. He would have been content arming Britain throught the "lend-lease" program but Pearl Harbor got in the way. With the US declaring war on Japan one day and Germany declaring war on us, we were now in the fight of our lives. We are in WWIII even if you are too stupid to see it. This worldwide war is different than any war in modern history countries and ideologies are blended or separate depending on locale. This war was declared by radical, extremist Islamofascists - didn't you get your invitation??

Right Wingers are terrorists by nature, no matter whether they're muslims, jews (Light MightyWindbag) or Christians (Like MizzWrong).

  74. Ringo Says:

Yo, mighty lunatic loser and Ann Coulter wannabe, you still smell as bad as the BS you're trying to peddle here. WWII was not a "preemptive" war started by the United States. Still no comparison to Iraq in any way, not matter how you try to frame it. As far as you calling what's going on in Iraq "WWIII," I want to thank you for showing unequivocally that you are indeed psychotic. Get back on your meds now, loser, and let the nurse strap you in for the night.

  75. Innocent Bystander Says:

    Miss Mighty-

So your THANKFUL that we've lost 2000+ Americans in an elective war, while the Bush family and associates have profited to the tune of $1.4BB by keeping us dependent on ME oil over the past 30 years?

Why do you hate America so much?

  76. mighty aphrodite Says:

RyANNE, You must have forgotten the portion of your history class about President "Cardigan" Carter. Repeating myself for your sake is just too boring for others - be considerste and keep up!!

  77. Ringo Says:

Mighty sack-of-s**t you're already boring to others. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

  78. AvengingAngel Says:

Only days after a bludgeoning behind closed doors in the Senate, Republican Senator Pat Roberts is insisting that there is no evidence of "political manipulation or pressure" in the use of pre-war intelligence.

Unfortunately for Roberts, a growing mountain of evidence suggests otherwise...

    For the full story, see:

    "Roberts' Iraq Stonewall Crumbles."

  79. mighty aphrodite Says:

P.S. I know your attention span is limited - but you "forgot" to address your "progressive/traitor" status in #61 - I know it's a little over-reaching, but ever the optimist.....

  80. Ryan Neat Says:

    MightyWindbag,

Would that be the part of the history where Carter inherited a REVOLUTION caused by the oppressive tactics of the REPUBLICAN INSTALLED DICTATOR of Iran? Yeah, that's the one.

Republicans always produce the problems, and leave democrats to pick up the pieces.

You're the one that should 'keep up', you're rehashing debunked and irrational 3rd grade talking points.

You went to private school? Man your momma must be one stupid HO to send you wherever she sent you. You came out retarded!

  81. Ryan Neat Says:

[The] Iraqi bioweapons program that President Bush wants to eradicate got its start with help from Uncle Sam two decades ago, according to government records that are getting new scrutiny in light of the discussion of war against Iraq.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent samples directly to several Iraqi sites that U.N. weapons inspectors determined were part of Saddam Hussein’s biological weapons program, CDC and congressional records from the early 1990s show. Iraq had ordered the samples, saying it needed them for legitimate medical research.

The CDC and a biological-sample company, the American Type Culture Collection, sent strains of all the germs Iraq used to make weapons, including anthrax, the bacteria that make botulinum toxin, and the germs that cause gas gangrene, the records show. Iraq also got samples of other deadly pathogens, including West Nile virus.

The transfers came in the 1980s, when the United States backed Iraq in its war against Iran.

  82. Ryan Neat Says:

Republican ineptitude didn't begin with Katrina, it started a century before.

  83. Marie Says:

#23 Nice fairy tale, Joe. It sounds a little familiar though -- is it not original? Hans Christian Andersen or the Brothers Grimm?
Will Disney be making it in a DVD for the kids at home? Alfred E. Neumann could play the King.

  84. Susan Says:

Why isn't the hermaphrodite in Iraq? He/She is manly enough to tie a guy to a chair and beat him to death isn't he/she?

  85. Joe Sixpack Says:

Thanks for the complement, Marie #84. Yeah I made that silly stuff up. Who else would put something down here without editing it for grammar and content?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't feel very lighthearted right now. Are you following the posts here? I think Ryan, Ringo and Innocent Bystander have just about shot my chances of scoring with mighty aphrodite tonight. I mean, right when I was starting to make my move, too.

  86. mighty aphrodite Says:

Susan - I spent 12 years in the military, Mr. Aphrodite is a veteran, too. You're too BIG of a loser to even pass the physical - but a towel on your head would improve your appearance. Unfortunately, you'd probably would fail the security clearances along with other enemy sympathizers.

  87. Ryan Neat Says:

    MightyWindbag,

You've been here for all this time, and this is the first time you ever admit having served? How old are you 60?

You've got college, law school, and 12 years in the military.

Why do I have trouble believing this 'lie' as much as I don't believe the rest.

Although it would explain it if you're part of the pentagon propaganda group. You weren't part of the Iraq Group that fabricated the intelligence were you? I heard there were lots of israeli spies in that mix, it would explain your loyalities to israel.

  88. Ryan Neat Says:

    MightyWindbag,

I've heard that most females in the military are bull dykes, it would explain your particular 'masculine' style, and complete lack of lady like traits. So is your husband the top or the bottom?

  89. Ringo Says:

Joe 6pack: We saved you, man. There isn't air freshener enough in this world to arm you against the stench that is "mighty afrodite." Now she's claiming to have been in the military! Too much! Like all Republicans, that broad will make up any lie to sell her case. Just a bunch of worthless, good-for-nothing liars. And it's all coming out now. All of it. It's going to get real ugly before it gets better, perhaps as ugly as mighty douchebag, but in the end, the world will be a better place once the truth is out, and we've rid our country of the Republican stain.

  90. Ryan Neat Says:

    Ringo,

In another thread, the MightyDyke admitted she'd been in the military for 12 years. Clear sign that the lady looks like a dude, and probably 'is' one. She seems like the 'top', although she keeps referring to her 'husband', so maybe she flips for the bedroom...

  91. Ringo Says:

Ryan: Clearly, like most Republican households, there ain't no throw-down going on in mighty's bedroom. Might explain the angst she displays in every post. Needs to get herself some, but since she's married to a Republican, her husband doesn't have anything to work with down there. She probably served in the military the same way Bush served in the National Guard. Not at all. She's just a liar. We should all pity her. Her Republican BS way of life is about to be a distant bad memory. Tsk.

  92. Ryan Neat Says:

    Ringo,

No kidding. She claims to be a lawyer, yet I caught her in several junior mistakes that clearly show either she's incompetent enough to be disbarred, or she's just a lying sack of crap. I think the lying one is the easy and most likely candidate.

Most republican partisans are just easily described as pathological and psychotic. They just don't possess the normal programming that functional person has. To them violence, pain, suffering and any number of other abhorent items aren't even felt in a negative way. And the few emotions they do have (hate, greed, defensiveness) are so overexagerated that they're just truly non-functional emotionally and mentally.

  93. Susan Says:

Hermaphrodite, when you enlisted did you state male or female on your enlistment papers? Or both.

  94. Susan Says:

Hey, Hermaphrodite, if you have military experience then why are you typing away when Rummy needs you so badly?

Normal thinking people refuse to enlist and your his only hope..now go and do your duty chickenhawk.

  95. Innocent Bystander Says:

Does Miss Mighty's Tightie post here?

I'll bet he's #2 on the home computer access pecking order. Probably has to get the housecleaning done before he's allowed his 5 minutes on the net....

  96. RunningDogLackey Says:

I think MA's confused. There is no Global War on Terror. There is, however, a Unilateral War Against International Law & the Sovereign Rights of Nations. Maybe that's the one she's talking about.

  97. Ringo Says:

Mighty A--hole is talking about the war in her deluded lobotomized Republican brain. The one that makes her claim to have served in the military, the one that makes her think Bush is the best president this country has ever seen, the one that makes her continue to try to sell her BS even though she and every other Republican psycho has been exposed for the lying frauds that they are. Keep gnashing those teeth, Mighty! We're loving it!

  98. Terrytheturtle Says:

#97 you are on to it there RDL. I think MA is either an orthodox Christofascist or perhaps a Zionofascist.

  99. Mini D. Says:

    #91
Ryan, Ringo, we all know "Mr. Aphrodite" takes AA batteries and was manufactured in Osaka. Possibly government issue.

  100. SpudgeBoy Says:

Hey now, stop calling that b!tch names.

  101. Marie Says:

#86, Joe, Sorry your dreams of scoring MA have been dashed but I think MA is not in your class. Your comments are witty and sarcastic -- hers are repetitious and adolescent.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she is too old for you -- she's been around the block a few times considering what I pick up from her resume`.

  102. SpudgeBoy Says:

Now, if you think about it, MA said she went to law school (doesn't seem like it with her writing style) and was in the military for 12 years.

    1+1=2

    Paid propagandist?

    Hmmmmmmm.

This would also explain her husbands complete lack of balls.

  103. Rich McVey Says:

    Think Progess has this piece:

Kristol: "If the White House Manipulated Intel, "It Might Well Be an Indictable Offense".

Well do you really think so?

Could you be sued if you yelled, "FIRE" in a crowded theater and someone died and you knew there was no fire? If prosecutors could show that you had a reasonable expectation that not only would someone get hurt but someone would get killed do you think you could go to jail? How much of a stretch is it to go from that scenario to creating a war based on false evidence? If you create a war do you think anyone will get killed? Duh!

If you can indict a ham sandwhich I sure as hell hope you can indict those responsible for taking us to war under false pretenses! If our system of government can't do that it can not provide for our security and something needs to be changed.

  104. mighty aphrodite Says:

Jay and Spudge - Your combined naivete about our involvement in WWIII was once again confirmed tonight on the nightly news.
A.) Australian authorities arresting Muslim extremists in plot to attack Sydney and Melbourne
B.) France lit up like a bonfire thanks to Muslim "youth" - add Belguim and Germany to the list.
C.) recent transit bombings in London
D.)Irans' call to exterminate the US and Israel
In addition to these incidents in the last few months add: the arrests of Lakawana NY cell members, the continuing Hamas attacks in Israel, the assasination of the Lebanese politician at the hands of Assads' henchmen, the attack on the USS Cole, the Bali nightclub bombings, Indonesian market bombing, the US embassy attacks in Kenya and Tanzania, the assasination plot against George H.W. Bush, September 11, the vicious behaedings of Nicholas Berg, Daniel Pearl and others, airplane explosion over Lockerbie,Scotland, the arrest before the millenium of plotters against LAX, nightclub attacks in Hamburg, the hijacking of the Achille Lauro and the murder of Leon Klinghoffer, continued suicide bus and restaurant bombings in Israel, attempted shootdown by rocket launcher of Israeli tourists, massacre of Israeli Olympians in Munich, and on and on, ad nauseum. Those of you who are so numb or too dumb to see the threat of radical Islam, deserve to be overun by these fanatical cretins. Those of you who condemn this "immoral war" should be ashamed of yourselves for your selective memories. You are pathetic and pitied -and nothing is worse than the pity of your ideological opposite.

  105. SpudgeBoy Says:

    #104

"A.) Australian authorities arresting Muslim extremists in plot to attack Sydney and Melbourne

C.) recent transit bombings in London
D.)Irans’ call to exterminate the US and Israel"

Yep, fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them here. Just keep telling yourself that over and over.

Click your heels then go fvck yourself with a broken bottle.

  106. The Bible Sez Says:

    The Bible Sez:

(Mat 5:29) And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

(Mat 5:30) And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

The “right” is an offense to God. Pluck it out! Cut it off! And cast it into Hell!

  107. RunningDogLackey Says:

nothing is worse than the pity of your ideological opposite
    ________

Obviously, you've never seen the touring company of "Cats."

  108. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

#105 And you think more killing is going to bring all this to an end?

Why do you conservative types hate living people so much? Why do you want to see people die? Is that what makes you happy? Seeing people die at someone else's hand? Is that why you enjoy capital punishment? (Witness President Bush's positively gleeful assertion that James Byrd's killers were going to get the death penalty; he was ecstatic about it!) I am not for a second defending any of the people who did all those horrific things; I just believe that responding to it by killing people does not prove that you are better than them.

In truth, it is you and those who think like you who should be pitied.

  109. Terrytheturtle Says:

Interesting racist diatribe from MA there. Mixing political assassination from secular muslim regimes like Assad and Hussein, with economic misery inspired rioting in a fiercely secular nation, France, with armed resistance against Israel. A rough history which somehow fails to take into account any of the causes of the unrest - the Six-Day war, the apartheid regime of Israel in the Occupied Territories, their invasion of Lebanon, Shatila and Sabra massacres, Black September, US funding for terrorist groups like the Contras, the IRA, Al-Qaeda itself. US funding for Saddam Hussein and the supply of the weapons technology he used on Iran and on the Kurds....

Selective history, incorrectly assigned motivations - I call it ignorant racist stupidity. Thanks for being part of the problem, MA. Its people like you that have put my family at risk today.

  110. Jeremy Says:

    #105

Bush is doing a good job on the war against terror, LOL!

What you posted shows that why we are losing the fight on terror with this chimp in office. You guys are creating more terrorists than we have ever seen before. You can keep killing them, but remember, everytime you kill a terrorist, you create maybe 2 more! Or 3, or 4 or 50. Killing does nothing to address the real problem, the REASON that they become terrorists.

Global terror attacks tripled in 2004 - http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/0428/dailyUpdate.html

Bush critics say US is losing war on terror - http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051101/pl_nm/security_terrorism_dc

Insurgents' ranks are being replenished as quickly as they are depleted - http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader/news/world/13084531.htm

The terroist plot that was foiled if proof once again why the war in Iraq is not helping our situation. The question now is when will the next terrorist attack happen in the U.S?? The war in Iraq is not related to the war on terroism, this was a seperate agenda that was on the Bush administrations mind. It is a crime that just less than 2 years after 9/11, Bush made Iraq his new priority. It's a slap in the face to the 9/11 victimes and their family.

You support a traitor. You and your republican cronies should be charged on sedition and abetting the enemy because of your reckless handle on foreign policy and because you guys have created more terrorists than before...therefore, creating more chances of being attacked and losing the war on terror.

mighty aphrodite = TRAITOR to our country.

  111. Jeremy Says:

And those on the left would take the priority away from Iraq and focus it on the war on terror. For too longthe Bush administration has has ignored Osama Bin Laden, it's time that we protect our nuclear and chemical plants against a terrorist attack instead of bowing down to them and letting them take care of security. Just this fact in itself shows that Bush doesn't care about our security, it's big bussiness first for him. Another reason why Bush should be impeached.

Treasonous bastard republicans (shakes my fist)

  112. progressive and proud Says:

FYI - President Carter is 1000 times more intelligent than you could even wish to be you trolls. He is also still working to make our PLANET better even into his 80s. You should read his brilliant new book. It will enlighten you on religious zealots (the wackos Delay & Co. refer to when mentioning your vote). It will give you a glimmer of reality with respect to the faux evangelical christians, which have been "working" you idiots for years now. He, being an evangelical christian, has vast insight into the business of christianity; how it has degraded into a Jim Jones atmosphere where people are doing A LOT more than "God's work."

They have totally roped you in and told you of the sweet sugary bliss that war will bring us all. They have fed you the gruel that you eat up with glee so you won't have to read those pesky newspapers. You can just turn off that NPR and listen to your Britney or your "old time rock and roll" and get on with your lives worrying only about yourself and how dirty your SUV is.

This way of (non)thinking has turned our American children into greedy young people who somehow believe that they are entitled. Entitled to what? When I was a kid I knew I belonged to a larger effort than my little ole' family.

  113. snortyflorty Says:

"...someone please lock these cretins up and throw away the keys", and then seal the room and fill it with white phosphorous.
Some say that these scum will die a horrible death some day.

  114. Terrytheturtle Says:

#111 - Jeremy, another data point. Examination of the motives of the London bombers found that they were radicalized by their government's participation in the Iraq invasion. Without the Iraq invasion there would have been no London bombings!

Thanks for nothing MA, my family is at risk today because of people like you and your racist delusions.

  115. Margo Says:

Complaining about liberal movie makers promoting smoking is nothing. The repugs scape goat, Libby, and his lame attempt at fiction is downright disgusting. It involves sexual abuse of young girls and locking them into a cage with a bear trained to copulate with them (Daily Show, 11/7). If this man represents the best thinking of great policy wonks on the right, it's no wonder that our country is disinegrating before our very eyes.

  116. Margo Says:

Does anyone know how it is that our satelite technology can apparently identify a mole on an ant's ass in Africa, but we can't find a six-foot arab dragging around a dialysis machine in the Pakistani/Afghan mountain ranges?

Bushwacko planned to invade Iraq before 9/11. He exploited the tragedy for this own agenda and now thousands of US soldiers and their families have paid the ultimate price along with even more numerous innocent Iraqis. We are no safer now than before 9/11 and I would argue even less so since we've pissed-off just about everyone else along the way and blown huge sums on money on crony contractors who haven't delivered squat in terms of real Homeland Security.

  117. mighty aphrodite Says:

#89 - Maybe RyANNE, if you weren't so busy re-reading your own "contributions" you may have been able to keep up. I have often mentioned being a veteran - now you know how long I served. You don't have to be masculine for JAG - but I'm sure you'd have a tough time with any physical exam or training. And your service record is....non-existent????

  118. Ryan Neat Says:

    MightyHermaphrodite,

Most of your typing is so irregular and whacko, I often skip your rants - they're just too unlucid.

Ah, a JAG, you might like Colin (Coverup Mai Lai) and the rest of the republican RAG core. Figures. I've never had trouble passing any physicals, something I doubt you could say :) Aren't JAGs the fat assed nerds of the military - yeah I see you...

I did civil service for several years, and had to deal with republican cheats daily trying to bilk american tax dollars. I've done my duty in my own way. And unlike you I did civil service because I cared about the country, you I'm betting signed up for free school - right aren't I? Funny how republican whackos always suck juice out of the system but wanna complain about 'welfare' moms. You're all such retarded hypocrites.

  119. Innocent Bystander Says:

If one knows that the Republican Party Line MA spews on this board is false, why would anyone believe anything about his/her background? Given the quality of her posts, she may well be Sateesh, an Indian in Bangalore, making $.75/hour posting fax'd RNC talking points on progressive boards.

  120. Andrew G. Says:

    #118

They tried to recruit my sister for JAG.

I guess hers wasn't one of the law schools that have banned the armed forces from recruiting their students.

She said no, in case you were wondering.

  121. Andrew G. Says:

    #118

Tell us about Articles 107 and 131 of the US Code of Military Justice.

  122. fede Says:

US used white phosphorus on Iraqi civilians-report

    By Phil Stewart

    8 November 2005

    Reuters News
"...A RAI documentary showed images of bodies recovered after a November 2004
offensive by U.S. troops on the town of Falluja, which it said proved the use of
white phosphorus against men, women and children who were burned to the bone....."

RAI posted the full report, including television images, at
    http://www.rainews24.rai.it/ran24/inchiesta/body.asp

  123. mighty aphrodite Says:

#122 - Andrew, theres's an excellent resource for you to look up ALL the Articles of the UCMJ - http://www.usmilitary.about. Hope this helps!!

  124. Mark Marco Says:

#113 progressive- you are fast becoming my favorite blogger to laugh at...and THAT'S saying something considering Ryan blogs here!

  125. Amy Says:

If ever there was a time to impeach a president it is now. Unfortunately, we can't evict them from the congress, senate and house. They can no longer blame the democrats. Although there are some that call themselves democrats when they are actually GOP to the core. The 14 that are backing Alto for example. If they want to be with the GOP then they should switch their party. Hold them all accountable, the media, the president, vice-president and all that proudly supported them. They should all be ashamed for turning America into a third world country. Our dollar is so low that soon we might as well call it a peso. Everyone of them that has the blood of dead and wounded should be held accountable. They know who they are and I hope that it haunts their every waking moment. It is not hard to spot them so keep your eyes open. Cut back on your spending and show them that they can't buy you.

  126. Amy Says:

Keep up the good work and don't these morons that call themselves Republicans stop you from speaking what they know is the truth. Let them give you atleast one thing that they are proud of that their party has done for our country and we will give them atleast 100 that show that they are rotten to the core.

  127. mighty aphrodite Says:

"I did civil service for several years, and had to deal with republican cheats daily trying to bilk american tax dollars. I’ve done my duty in my own way."
    Comment by RyANNe
*****BA HA HA hA hA......And EXACTLY what type of Civil Service did you do, besides harassing others??? Sounds like you loved your job at the IRS. The people you worked with, though, said you had a "defensive attitude and didn't play well with others". I said that was the RyANNe I knew, too!!!

  128. Kuvashan Says:

    Kuvashan

I just wanted to write to say that you have a great site and a wonderful resource for all to share.
