Stevens made a fool of himself recently when he said “NO” I will not give back any money (pork) for the bridge to nowhere in my state of Alaska.
Today he not only cut the questioning by each Senator short, he refused to let the executives be sworn in (dare they look foolish and perjure themselves).
They can only conduct business through abuse of power (recall the one of Sensenbrenner turning off the lights and walking out) and bullying everyone who stands in their way.
They have forgotten that what goes around comes around and their day of reckoning is coming – sooner not later – and we will remind them of these times.

Yes, #13, I also should have said that these slime bags are already parsing their words, so there will be no laws broken. Wasn’t one of Bush’s campaign points that he would challenge the trial lawyers — yes, trial lawyers who fight corporations for the little guy, but not trial lawyers who fight to preserve greed in the corporate world and corruption in his own government.

They won’t testify under oath, because when they lie, it will be contrary to the oath. So, no oath for them please — then they can lie with impunity. No harm no foul.

The big oil companies lies anyways. Why would anyone believe them? Old Bushie and Cheney are corrupt oil people. Old Bushie and Cheney did not swear under oath when Fitzgerald question them. What do you expect from the Republican?

That’s telling. Why don’t these Republicans just reach directly into our wallets and pull the cash out themselves? Ted Stevens is a Cheney-like whore on the Big Oil front. BTW, he was one of the 9 Senators that were on the torture bandwagon. Despicable. Can anybody think of a an elected official with his hand in more corruption cookie jars than this guy?
