Any word on a severance package?

  2. progressive and proud says:

If he worked for me he would be lucky to keep his teeth as severance.

  3. EasyRider says:

How long before he is on the payroll of some rich GOP supporter? Maybe a TV or Radio show of his own?

  4. progressive and proud says:

Next up for Brownie – lobbyist duties. You know it’s coming.

  5. Chris in AZ says:

For all who brought this to light, clap yourself on the back…they tried to dupe the public, unfortunately for them this and similar blogs helped expose the truth…kudos

  6. Zookeeper says:

    Bye Drownie. Get lost.

  7. Ellis says:

Keeping brownie on the payroll this long WAS his severance/buy-out/whatever. He is incompetence personified.

  8. Spudge_Boy says:

It’s about freaking time. The blogs ARE working folks.

People come on here and say that we don’t make a difference. They are dead wrong. It is form our continued pressure that things continue to change.

The average person doesn’t even know who Michael Brown is let alone read his shocking e-mails.

Keep up the good work TP and the posters that come here regularly to voice their oinions.

  9. Pete Bogs says:

I have an idea for a Brownie severance package: He should be handed both his thumbs in a box.

  10. blogenfreude says:

He should be handed both his thumbs in a box. true – he won’t need them at his new Halliburton job …

  11. progressive and proud says:

YES, thumbs, Pete. Good idea and it will serve as a deterrent for other Brownies. At least that is the republican method of stopping crime. It works so well too.

  12. WaltTheMan says:

What? He only has two thumbs?

  13. Brownie says:

FEMA, I’ll pick up my last paycheck in person, hold on though, I’ll need a bit more time to eat, change into something more fashionable, and roll up my sleeevies.

  14. Ringo says:

Actually, what happened with this moron was a good thing. Good that Bush kept him on. Good that Bush kept paying him even though he was exposed to be the arrogant, uncaring, unqualified f**k-up that he is. Bush’s actions in this regard pounded another nail into his coffin. Keep it up, Bush! Keep giving the finger to the American people! Because this time many, many more of us are watching.

  15. Marie says:

    #8, SB,
Yes, I agree that the blogs are having an effect. The bloggers are doing the research and the reporting that is sorely absent in the MSM. Note that CNN even does regular features from blog-reporters. Print media is suffering from falling circulation which means advertising $$ are down and they will have to sell more advertising as well as find a way to attract readership, likely opening the door for even less unbiased reporting. Bloggers are not under any restrictions presently, so it is an admittedly buyer-beware news outlet, but the proven websites and bloggers are well known and they are changing the way of news dissemination.

  16. Marie says:

Oops, on topic — It’s about time Brown is gone!!
Another one who shouldn’t let the door slam on his ass on the way out.

  17. The Northeast Dilemma says:

Drownie certainly gave the left alot of talking points. He is the Janet Reno of the Bush Admin except he killed women and children with water, not fire.

  18. Ringo says:

#17: Here we go again pointing fingers to the past. Now we’re going to go back to Janet Reno and try to deflect attention from what’s happening now. Not working!

  19. progressive and proud says:

The difference NeD is that Reno admitted her mistake and took FULL RESPONSIBILITY for it. What about Brownie? That, my little troll, is the difference between us. Aren’t you ashamed of your party?

  20. The Northeast Dilemma says:

PP – I am ashamed of Drownie and I am upset that Bush would go with such blatent cronyism. I have said as much. I have conceded to liberals on SOME of the Katrina talking points.

Ringo – I just like to say the phrase “kill women and children” – I guess it’s the liberal in me.

  21. Ringo says:

#20: You truly are disgusting. Go back into your Republican cave.

  22. Spudge_Boy says:

    #20

Likking women and children is a republican trait. Remember, we want to stop the illegal war, you a republican want it to continue. Women and children aren’t killed when there isn’t a war.

  23. Zookeeper says:

#22 – Killing ‘em, too. Sorry, Spudge, couldn’t resist. Keep up the good work.

  24. Ringo says:

Yes, let us not forget that in NeD’s world it’s okay to kill the Iraqi women and children. They don’t count. But then, that’s the Republican in him talking. Pig.

  25. Ryan Neat says:

    NED,

Republicans have talking points, democrats have ‘facts’. It’s why you’re inept and we’re effective!

  26. Ryan Neat says:

    NED,

How do you feel about the FACT that american troops have been using WMDs against iraqi CIVILIANS including CHILDREN? Does that represent your ‘values’ like torture – which you’ve already given the thumbs up on? You’re clearly the american judeo/christian taliban – and a moronic loser!

  27. The Northeast Dilemma says:

Ryan – why are you slandering the troops by claiming they are using WMD against Iraqis without evidence?

AND Ryan, the only thing someone like you is effective at is galvanizing the Republican base to GOTV. BTW, thanks for your help in Ohio. With all the $$ in the world, your boy George Soros couldn’t convince Ohio voters that the election was stolen. That’s offends people and might explain why Democrats haven’t won a single election in FL since they tried to steal it.

    Ryan is a liar.

  28. Ringo says:

NeD: The human answer to sleeping pills. Zzzzzzzzzz…

  29. The Northeast Dilemma says:

Ringo – sorry that I support the troops and love my country. You people should move to France since you seem to think they are so well equipped to manage govt. To be on the safe side, you should take a bike with you!

  30. Ringo says:

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…

  31. Ryan Neat says:

    NED, you’re such a retard.

    NED,

    You’re truly a whacko, a retard and a fool!

“The March edition of Field Artillery magazine, a U.S. Army publication, reveals that the U.S. military did in fact use the incendiary weapon white phosphorous in Fallujah, Iraq

    http://sill-www.army.mil/FAMAG/Previous_Editions/05/mar-apr05/PAGE24-30.pdf

Not only is there evidence, the MILITARY ADMITTED IT.

NED WHY DO REPUBLICANS HATE AMERICA?

  32. Ryan Neat says:

    NED,

How do you know Ohio folks weren’t convinced, considering they voted with the same machines that have already been proven to be fraudulent by GOP MEMBERS OF CONGRESS!

    You’re a FOOL!

  33. Ryan Neat says:

    NED,

You should move to Iran, their mullah controlled totalitarian government has identical values as Bush, although apparently Iran has never used WMDs, and bush has, so maybe Iran isn’t radical enough for a terrorist like you…

  34. Ringo says:

By the way, NeD, we do love our country. We just hate what you and your ilk are doing to it.
