Last Tuesday, Bill O’Reilly encouraged terrorists to target San Francisco because he was upset that the city voted to ban military recruiters from high-school and college campuses. O’Reilly said “if Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything about it. We’re going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco.â€
At first, O’Reilly defended his comments as “not controversial.†That didn’t seem to work, so tonight he claimed the whole thing was a “satirical riff.â€
In O’Reilly’s view the only real problem is the “internet smear sites†drawing attention to his comments:
Some far left internet smear sites have launched a campaign to get me fired over my point of view. I believe they do this on a daily basis. This time the theme is O’Reilly is encouraging terrorist attacks. Unbelievably stupid. Not unusual with these guttersnipes.
Fairly typical comments from O’Reilly. But he added an unusual twist. O’Reilly promised to publish the names of everyone who supported these “internet smear sites†on his website:
I’m glad the smear sites made a big deal out of it. Now we can all know who was with the anti-military internet crowd. We’ll post the names of all who support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com. So check with us.
It’s unclear where O’Reilly would find such a list. But since he has labeled everyone who supports websites like MediaMatters.org and ThinkProgress.org as “anti-military†it seems to be an effort to intimidate and shame our readers.
At the time this post was published, the promised list doesn’t appear on billoreilly.com. Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: Crooks and Liars has the video.
Why does this NOT surprise me? That man is boringly obnoxious…
As for his list…PUT ME ON IT OLD BOY, I could use the help in spreading my views on Bushy Boy, Refied Rice and Scooter Pie boys…bring it on you FAT FAKE!

Seriously, everyone, listen up. This is all about “Factor Gear.” When he keeps sending people to his web site to vote on polls, to read about some scintillating sex crime, or, in this case, to find out who’s on the “enemies” list, they see all the fun items you can buy.
I’m not making this up, the son of a bitch has the icon for passing “Jessica’s” law in between offers for O’Reilly ballcaps and “memberships.”
What’s next? O’Reilly falafel makers?

November 14th, 2005 at 9:49 pmI think it would be a good thing. Maybe some FOX readers will check it out and relaize the truth is out there. Doubtful, but..
November 14th, 2005 at 9:54 pmI have just e-mailed O’Reilly and Fox to ask them to please put me on his “smear” list, telling them it would be an honor.
November 14th, 2005 at 9:54 pmWhy aren’t we continuing to call for his arrest, instead of reverting to HIS ATTACKS, HIS NEW AGENDA?
F**K him, basically.
Why lower ourselves to HIS level?
We have a VERY GOOD ARGUEMENT that he should be ARRESTED!!!
Don’t deviate!!! Keep the pressure on him!!!!
November 14th, 2005 at 9:54 pmDon’t fall for the deflection!!!!!

November 14th, 2005 at 9:57 pmIf vouchers are permitted which require taxpayer money be diverted to ‘religious schools’, then are military recruiters allowed to operate freely on those campuses?
inquiring minds want to know…
November 14th, 2005 at 9:58 pmWhy does BO hate freedom of speech? Why does he want to see millions of innocent Americans die? Why does he prop up an administration that lied about the causus belli in which 2000+ young Americans died? Why do you support an administration that ignored warnings of an AQ attack and 3000 Americans died?
Why do you hate America so much, Bill?
November 14th, 2005 at 9:58 pmBring it on, Bill.
November 14th, 2005 at 10:00 pmMe too — put my name on it! A list of anti-O’Reilly’s sound a lot like a list of level-headed, truth-loving patriots. So put me on it!
November 14th, 2005 at 10:02 pmThat list won’t be published anytime soon. I’m sure it’s very long and will take him a quite a while to type up – considering it grows longer every day. O’Reilly’s a cartoon character.
November 14th, 2005 at 10:03 pmwe hope he lists skippy! we suggested google-bombing him two days ago!
ps. if you look at the fox page for o’reilly’s show, it claims his remarks were, quote satrical, unquote.
at least we know how to spell!
November 14th, 2005 at 10:06 pmO’Reilly is a sad, whining baby who can dish it out all day, but can’t take it worth a damn. He should be no more than the butt of our jokes.
Let me start:
How many Bill O’Reillys does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
One to scream about the pinheads in Washington who let the light go out
One to claim that the “far left” wants to keep children in the dark
One to make obscene phone calls to an employee while no one can see him
One to bitch about the “lightbulb assassins” who tried to make the light go out sooner
And one to scream “shut up!” at the other four.
OK — It’s not funny. But I’m no commedian. Bottom line: screw this A-hole!
November 14th, 2005 at 10:07 pmd’ya suppose this site will make his list?
November 14th, 2005 at 10:12 pmhttp://sweetjesusihatebilloreilly.com/
scroll down to the bottom and you can listen to bill read from his smutty book…
I would love to be on an “anti-military” list. I have 8 years of active duty under my belt and now serving in the reserves…. Good luck proving that one.
November 14th, 2005 at 10:12 pmUnlike McCarthy, O’Dickface doesn’t have immunity while speaking on the senate floor. If he publishes a list, I hope they all sue is friggin ass.
November 14th, 2005 at 10:14 pmOmigod! Now I’ll never be able to get a job or a restaurant reservation under the name of “RunningDogLackey”!
Damn you, Felafel King!
November 14th, 2005 at 10:19 pmThat’s it! NOBODY calls me a “guttersnipe.”!
Let’s get Bill shitcanned!
November 14th, 2005 at 10:22 pmOh, yes I do, guttersnipe!
November 14th, 2005 at 10:26 pmWhy you, I oughtta — !
November 14th, 2005 at 10:33 pmNixon, McCarthy, Bush, O’Reilly…why is it always the Right Wingers who create enemies lists? Bunch of paranoids…I wonder if they check under the bed before they close their eyes at night?
November 14th, 2005 at 10:40 pmWhat, precisely, does he hope to accomplish by doing this? It’s not like he’s going to get us all blackballed from Hollywood.
November 14th, 2005 at 10:44 pmDid O’Reilly discuss:
- his selective editing of Biden video clips
November 14th, 2005 at 10:58 pm- his short-lived career writing soft-porn prose
- FOX being nailed by the conservative Parents Television Council for showing 4 of the top 10 “Worst Shows for Family Viewing”

Bill O’Reilly has refused to take back his hate speech encouraging the terrorists to bomb San Francisco. Now, he has become even more brazen, threatening to publish the names of the people and left-wing websites who discuss his smear.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:06 pmLittle Billy and Little George have reached the end of the line. It is now time for their mothers to send them to bed without the dinner.
Do they really believe that anyone pays any attention to them.
Please Billy get you pacifier and blanket and crawl in a hole.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:09 pmHow do I get on this list? What a resume-builder! “Emeny of Bill O’Reilly.”
November 14th, 2005 at 11:10 pmThat list will never appear. It would just be a blogroll of intelligence that would give his lost admirer’s far too many places to go and have their heads opened up for a frontal Billotomy. The sharks in San Francisco Bay are waiting for Kim Jong Bill. They like his crazy ways. They want to eat him.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:12 pmDear Bill O’Reilly,
Please put me on your list, ya big loofah you.
Sincerely,
Ed Bastard
November 14th, 2005 at 11:15 pmOh, please, Bill, post my site…I could really use the traffic, and would consider it the greatest honor my blog has yet received. (Okay, the only honor…)
November 14th, 2005 at 11:16 pmWELCOME O’REILLY VIEWERS!
BOY are you in for a treat! All this time you thought you were in a no spin zone while watching Bill. But now, he has kindly directed you to Media Matters and ThinkProgress where you can REALLY see no-spin!
This is going to open up a world of new information to you, and I think you’ll find it very exciting and eye opening.
I’m not upset at you for beliving Bill. If that’s all you’ve watched, than thats all you know, and Bill spins so much in his no spin zone that there really is NO WAY of knowing if he’s lying.
Unless you come to a site which corrects him… like this site. And he’s been kind enough to lead you right here! So… WELCOME!
You might be releaved to see that none of these sites he has lead you to advocate killing Americans. You’ll be glad to see that these sites don’t sit arund trying to defend themselves from attacks, rather they use their oppertunity to report the news and help people. You’ll be glad to see that all the points made on these sites are backed up with countless links and proof! It will almost feel like eating declious candy after years of being fed stale food.
So again.. welcome! And thank you Bill for aiming your viewers to this site. It doesn’t matter how much you bash it before you send your viewers over here, because the truth is a BEAUTIFUL thing, and there is no way your viewers will want to turn back to your lies, your hate, and your spin.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:16 pmDear Bill O’Really,
Please honor me by including my name on your “enemies” list; I’d really, really, really like to be on it. My qualifications are:
1. I live IN San Francisco.
2. I voted FOR proposition H, banning the possession of handguns in SF.
3. I voted FOR proposition I, opposing military recruiting in our public schools.
4. I’m PROUD to call myself a Progressive and a Liberal (that dreaded “L” word).
But since you proved yourself to have no backbone by first indicating that you really meant your rants encouraging a terrorist attack on SF, and then you wimped out and said it was a “satrical riff”. So now I can only assume that your threat to create this list of “enemies” is also an empty promise. Why golly gee, I would guess that you must be a Democrat since you have no backbone.
Why do you hate us for our freedoms in San Francisco? Is that why you encourage terrorist activity on U.S. soil? Why do you hate America so much?
I don’t hate you, Bill. Hate is self destructive, as you can see, this is what is happening now to the Republicans. Too much hate.
Have a nice day, Bill!
November 14th, 2005 at 11:17 pmPlease put me on your enemies list, Bill, right near the top!
November 14th, 2005 at 11:18 pmBill O’Reilly is a Terrorist sympathizer.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:23 pmWhy is everyone upset that O’Reilly is going to copy Atrios’s blogroll?
November 14th, 2005 at 11:25 pmTypical behavior for the bully/coward O’Lielly. Was he crying when he said it?
November 14th, 2005 at 11:25 pmNo, it’s me! He’s gotta be talking about me! I totally smeared his ass over that idiotic statement of his. Check it out, and just try to tell me that he wasn’t talking about me. I even wrote a bonus quiz covering O’Reilly’s recent sexual harrassment lawsuit. I’ve gotta be on that list.
And if he could read it on the show, that’d be even better. My mom always watches that jerk, and would get a big kick out of seeing my blog name mentioned.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:26 pmStop bitching.
Lets all sign up!
Bill!! me too! too!
November 14th, 2005 at 11:29 pmPUT ME ON THE LIST!!
Bill, please, please, please put me on your smear list. Nothing would make me prouder than to be the enemy of a pervert.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:35 pmO’Reilly’s an asshole.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:36 pmPeriod.
Oh, please please PLEASE add me to the enemies list, Bill!

November 14th, 2005 at 11:38 pmCan someone post the Factor’s or BO’s e-mail address?
November 14th, 2005 at 11:41 pmI think I’ll donate a couple of bucks to everybody Bill names.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:44 pmOooh.. Bill O’Reilly Has A List
I will wear that scarlet ‘O’ with pride.
November 14th, 2005 at 11:47 pmI love how Bill O’Reilly was so embarassed by getting called out on this that when he played the clip for his television viewers on “The O’Reilly Factor”, he completely omitted the part where he said “Al-Qaeda should attack San Francisco and blow up Coit Tower”
That omission was instant proof that he knows he went over the line. Thank god that guy who wrote the proposition confronted him about leaving out the most incendiary part of his comment!
This guy deserves all harm that comes to him. Fricken loofah-loving slice of feces-coated toilet film
November 14th, 2005 at 11:50 pmGUTTERSNIPE AND PROUD OF IT!
November 15th, 2005 at 12:05 amWhat a RIFF OFF.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:12 amWell, I just emailed him and asked to be included on the list. Wonder if I’ll get a reply or not…
November 15th, 2005 at 12:13 amI blogged Yesterday’s Posting in some fairly strong terms, it still bugs me that some people who aren’t as connected as Mr. O’Reilly are rotting away in american custody for less direct actions in support of terrorism. I do think that compiling lists of political enemies is the act of a desperate loser, and I’m surprised he still draws enough of a crowd for Fox to keep him on the air (OTOH, Jerry Springer).
November 15th, 2005 at 12:19 amI would be stunned by O’Reilly’s diatribe if I were not already convinced that O’Reilly is a complete crackpot!
Republicans liked this creep? Now I wonder what the Republicans think of him?
November 15th, 2005 at 12:35 amI’m making a list, too!
So far, it’s got Bill O’Reilly and that bitch down the street who keeps ragging me about the porch hedges. And I say unto both of them — BEWARE MY LIST!
November 15th, 2005 at 12:38 amAn enemy’s list? And here I thought Tricky Dick was dead. All that plastic surgery must have hurt like hell.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:38 amI think you guys are missing the point. Read it again. He said he will post a list of “all who support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com”
I for one never support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com. Why would I? I do, after all, have a sense of decency.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:42 amI could use the free advertising so add me and my blog Bill. If it helps any, I cannot stand you. Instead of giving your dispicable show any ratings, I’ll watch clips online and laugh at your back-tracking, lying lunacy.
Party at my house when you get canned, or sued, whichever comes first (and second).
November 15th, 2005 at 12:54 amTell him to post the list in Denver where his radio show just got cancelled
November 15th, 2005 at 1:06 amCan someone fill me In, What does Filth O’Liely mean By We?
November 15th, 2005 at 1:17 amThe MAN has Lost it. He has Finally Gone Apeshit Crazy.
Just Like them Damn Nutty Ass Teachers ya Git In Skool Sum times.
I guess Barbara Bush Will be Next to Publish a List, of Course she will have to write Georges for Him, and Wimpy Sr. Too.
Now, Its REALLY Time TO:
November 15th, 2005 at 1:20 amPICK ON Ol FILTH O’LIELY RACIST RANTS!
the bigger the list, the more the publicity. you WANT to be on this list. go ahead, O’Liely, publish this list. PLEASE. give this site and others all the pub we can possibly handle….
November 15th, 2005 at 1:23 amby the way…i find it halirious that EVERYONE calls him “O’Liely”…i wrote #65 prior to reading any comments, and now i see that 1/3 of the comments refer to him as such. Too funny. Too sad?
November 15th, 2005 at 1:28 amHey, O’ Lielly,
Felafel biy, put me on the list. That way I can find a way to kick your ass, then sue you financially and morally for psychological distress, mental anguish, harassment, invasion of privacy and threatening to murder me by having your facist viewers come down on us.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:35 amI’m not surprised by O’Reilly. He typically go off on rants and raves when he’s on to something. It shows what kind of city San Fran is to be so abusive to the military that protects their right to vote. But instead of flipping out at San Fransisco over this, O’Reilly should focus on the unconstitutional ban of guns they also approved.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:36 am“San Fran”?
November 15th, 2005 at 1:51 am#68–Ha! “abusive to the military”??? uh huh. Tell that to the veterens that have fought a worthless “war”. Most of them understand that what they did was fruitless. San Fran realized it long ago. To state in no uncertain terms that they will no longer contribute to the solider death list is admirable. I wish every city did this. Maybe Mike should go volunteer if he’s so worried about recruitment in the military. Yeah, put up or shut up.

68: And how is it “abusive” to keep military recruiters out of public schools? Do you have teenage sons, sir? Perhaps you believe we should allow recruiters access to our boys when they are home and we – their parents – are not. Would that be ok with you? Or are you one of those Republicans that believe the government only force your daughters to obtain your consent for life-altering decisions?
If you think San Francisco is hostile to the military, then you have not been there for Fleet Week.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:00 amI remember when Nixon’s List was *the* list to be on, for any liberal-thinking person. I’d love to be on this one, since I missed my chance once before.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:04 amI wonder if Flush DimbulB will Put His Maid on His Not DO Anything “List”.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:09 amSo he said it was “satire”, huh. What a wimp. Man, just once, I’d like to see these hate mongers stand by what they say rather than wimp out like Bill or claim “they didn’t mean to offend anyone” like that gutless cracker Trent Lott.
And why is it dingleberries like #68 froth about “state’s rahts” except when it comes to stuff they don’t like? The people of San Francisco decided to not allow recruiters on schools grounds, but the military is by no means run out of the town. Hypocrites. Jerks. Crybabies.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:23 amHow dare the liberal blogs smear Bill O’Reilly by posting video and audio clips of what he actually says.
You think pigs like O’Reilly and Limbaugh forget there’s technology that records what they say in their own voice when they cry about being misquoted.
They’re not only 100% wrong politically, but just basically stupid.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:43 amHow do I get on this list?
November 15th, 2005 at 3:11 am“Tell that to the veterens that have fought a worthless “warâ€. Most of them understand that what they did was fruitless. San Fran realized it long ago. To state in no uncertain terms that they will no longer contribute to the solider death list is admirable. I wish every city did this.”
There it is, finally: The one person who spoke the truth for all of you. There’s the Democrap Agenda: outlaw the military and leave the nation defenseless. This shows their hatred for America.
Finally, one who admits it.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:16 am“Well funded” What the hell. I think it’s just a bunch of folks who read the blogs writing and calling his advertisers. Oh, and I hate that mthrfckr and I hope I make his list.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:30 amNew nickname for hizzoner Mr. O’Reilly:
HillBilly O’Reilly
I think it has a nice ring to it, don’t you?
HillBilly O’Reilly sounds more and more like he’s been up in the hills hitting the moonshine a little too heavily. In fact, maybe HillBilly O’Reilly is supplying our Glorious Leader with the hootch, as reported in the Globe article. Of course, this hitting the hootch by our Glorious Leader could explain his recent bail-out at that South American conference. You know, he might have been a wee bit hungover. Or maybe he left because he was thirsty. Real thirsty. Hmmmm, just a thought.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:36 amI personally e-mailed the Falafel King and asked that he include my site on his “hit” list since we take aim at him and all the other cowardly chickenhawk bastards sending everyone else to die in Iraq. This phony bastard needs a serious reality check.

November 15th, 2005 at 3:41 amDear Bill, please add me to your Enemies List.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:46 amLooks like Bill O’Reilly got some inspiration from the back of Michelle Malkin’s book. Unfortunately, publishing websites will just promote them, rather than denigrate them.
If, as they are hoping, some republicans start Dossing the site or trying to deface it, rememmber to redirect traffic from your site to … you know who!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:49 amPut me on your list, too, Bill “Put Down That Crack Pipe Baby and Get My Pipe Up” O’Reilly!
Geez! What do you supposed happened in old “Spectacular Boobs’” childhood that made him turn out like this? Did his mama stop breastfeeding too soon? Did his winkie not fully deveop? I mean, what is up with the man?
November 15th, 2005 at 5:59 amEver since Frankin started criticizing O’Reilly last year Bill seems to be going over the edge with anyone who mentions his stupid comments. He’s headed for the funny farm.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:11 amSeriously has anyone called Dept of Homeland Security on this guy-they say they welcome tips on terrorist threats
November 15th, 2005 at 6:36 amWhat’s that email again? My blog could use the publicity.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:52 amThe new McCarthy: Bill O’Reilly plans to publish
He must be off his medication or something. Bill O’Reilly with each passing day seems to be plunging deeper and deeper into insanity. He’s taken a page from the administration by trying to rewrite the history surrounding his remarks, unrepentant defe…
November 15th, 2005 at 6:55 amSomeone has to purchase the parisbusinessreview.com and make it an “Anti-Oreilly” site so it makes the list. Then O’reilly would have used one of the so called “smear” sites on his own show to further his rhetoric.
November 15th, 2005 at 7:38 amSo, how many at TP have served vs. O’Reilly and friends?
November 15th, 2005 at 7:48 amOut of curiosity, when did Bill O’Reilly start to be equivalent with “the military?” Unless I’m reading it wrong, he really does seem to be conflating criticism of him with criticism of the military. Is he that delusional?
November 15th, 2005 at 8:05 amO’Rilley, Roberts, Bush and all their kids to the front line, NOW!
November 15th, 2005 at 8:06 am#81, have you seen the “Is Bush Drunk?” video at crooksandliars.com? This video was made at the Kilgore rally in VA. Everyone should see this. It originally came from canofun.com.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:11 amTo Bill O’Reilly, please put my name on your website. I, unlike you, served my country proudly. I, unlike you, served my country in time of war. Freedom of Speech means that you can say what you want. Sir, you are a hypocritical piece of crap. The spinning wheels of the Republican media(talk radio and FNC) are falling off.
You, sir, should be fired for the bloviating threats against the city of San Francisco.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:14 amAs Bill should know, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:28 amOOO, I’m scared. The only thing scarey about Mongoloid Bill is his ignorance.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:30 amI’d love to see some of his sexual harassment conversations published… or did he pay to make that all go away?
Purpose of the Blog; About APAF. APAF is a nonpartisan.
You’re kidding right?
Face it, he wasn’t issuing any threats. Your constant attempts to remove the competition aren’t working. His advertisers are laughing at your attempts to censor him by misrepresenting the events.
Daily WaKos states their motives best by:
November 15th, 2005 at 8:35 am“We want to get him off the air”
They always did.
How does he read the teleprompter out of those beady squinties?
November 15th, 2005 at 8:42 amMy grandmother used to say,” beware of people who’s eyes are not open(literally and figurativly) to the world”. What perverted and monstrously angry thoughts lie in those tiny black marbles.
“misrepresenting the events”?
November 15th, 2005 at 8:44 amGee, I thought I heard him say to go ahead and blow up Coit Tower.
Bill O’Liely,
Please add this liberal, Star Trek-loving veteran that keeps writing to you calling you a coward for not facing David Brock to your Enemies List. I would consider it an honor. And I consider you to be one of the biggest cowards ever to disgrace national television and radio.
BTW, Bill, do you know anything about the Coit Tower that you famously invited al Qaeda to attack? I think you were thinking it’s something else and, boy, how wrong you were. Are you going to go to San Francisco and personally apologize to the firefighters there?
November 15th, 2005 at 8:47 amSometimes a punch in the mouth is the most effective way to shut someone up.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:48 am70 – Punchy: I wanted to enlist as an officer in the Air Force after 9/11 when my wife was nearly killed in the WTC. I’m too young to have kids old enough to fight, but would be proud to have them serve if it was their choice. I have many friends who are in Army and Air Force and tell them how proud I am of them all the time.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:55 amYou got it exactly right, Wayne. The Coit Tower was built as a monument to San Francisco firefighters. However, an apology isn’t enough. O’Reilly should be arrested and charged with inciting a terrorist attack on an American city.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:55 amLet us know where he posts the sign up form. A lot of us would like to register our dissent. Accordinh to recent polls he may need to make room for about 180 million names.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:56 am72 – Pragmatist: Absolutely not. Recruiters should not have access to anyone’s home without permission. That certainly violates many rights, including parents rights to raise their kids the way they so choose.
Incidentally, I’m libertarian and don’t believe all of San Fran is hostle to military. And no one can come up with a rational reason against parental notification of abortion (unless abuse or rape or something is alleged). You can’t give a minor an asprin without notification, abortion should be no different.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:04 am#104 purvis,
I live in New York State. My father has been a volunteer fireman for over fifty years. And I’m an Air Force veteran. I take great offense at O’Liely’s remarks. And for him to try to pass it off as some kind of “satire” only after getting thousands of complaints is just even more insulting. If at all possible, he should try to think before he opens that mouth of his. I know, that’s asking a lot.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:06 amhave you no shame, sir? have you NO shame?

November 15th, 2005 at 9:19 amI live in New York myself. Can you imagine O’Reilly calling for an attack on the Empire State building because New Yorkers voted overwhelming against Bush?
Just sent Billy an e-mail:
Hi Bill!
I support both Media Matters for America and ThinkProgress. Please put me on your list.
Sincerely,
November 15th, 2005 at 9:19 amThomas Allen
I’m not surprised by O’Reilly. He typically go off on rants and raves when he’s on to something. It shows what kind of city San Fran is to be so abusive to the military that protects their right to vote. But instead of flipping out at San Fransisco over this, O’Reilly should focus on the unconstitutional ban of guns they also approved.
Comment by Michael — November 15, 2005 @ 1:36 am
The city hasn’t closed down the recruiting offices or stopped the military from running their ads on TV. If you actually think the military is protecting your right to vote, you must think their are fleets of commies and islamo-fascists right off the coast waiting to invade. It’s the little green men you should be worried about. The military can’t stop them frm landing. Furthermore, take your NRA dues and enroll in a junior college so you can get some accurate information with respect to the SCOTUS’ rulings with respect to the 2nd amendment. It is the SCOTUS that determines what is and isn’t constitutional, not the NRA, and since the 1930s when these laws first came befre the court, they haven’t had a problem with municipalities banning handguns within the city limits. Sullivan act in NYC ring a bell? In fact, laws like this have been around since before Wyatt Earp did it in Dodge City and Tombstone. That’s what the shoot out at the OK corral was about, dumbass. And you knw how that turned out for the Clanton’s and McLaury’s and the other cowboys.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:22 amthis should have been done long ago… the military should not be permitted to market to anyone who is not old enough to serve… that’d be most high school students… no more of this “sign up now and start in two years” crap! look, people know the military is out there, and anyone can visit a recruitment office if they wish… but they shouldn’t be calling up kids and getting in their faces on campus… what happened to the concept of “no soliciting?”
November 15th, 2005 at 9:36 amPurvis,
I’d love to see him try. If he did do something like that, he wouldn’t even make it very far out of the studio to the cab waiting at the curb before New Yorkers really let him have it. There’s only so much bullshit that we’re willing to put up with in this state, and especially in the city.
But even I can’t believe that he would be that stupid. Would he?
November 15th, 2005 at 9:37 amoh billie, please don’t put my name on the list…ohh I’m shaking in my boots…..ohhhhhhh, and by the way…YOUR FIRED.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:41 amPlease Bill, go ahead and publish names. I’ll will personally send my name it just in case you missed it!
November 15th, 2005 at 9:48 amI just love O’Reilly! Don’t you?
November 15th, 2005 at 9:50 amWe should make a concerted effort to call in on his ahow, and ask him about some lame right wing propaganda. And while he answers, have a shaver/vibrator at the phone mic so he can bring back his fond memories of his telephone conversations with Andrea Mackris.
November 15th, 2005 at 10:10 amI suppose I’ll have to email him this bit, Bill O’Reilly Stalks AFLAC Duck. A girl can dream, can’t she?
November 15th, 2005 at 10:10 amWhere’s O’Reilly’s Nephew?
O’Reilly’s upset about pushing recruiters out of schools in San Fran. O’Reilly recently claimed his nephew has joined the military (unlike O’Reilly, who in the Vietnam years, headed to Merrie Olde England). Funny thing, nobody has heard a thing about this nephew, what service this “nephew” has joined or where he is. Does this “nephew” even exist? Anybody know one way or the other?
November 15th, 2005 at 10:21 amThis is a little off topic.
Has Bill O’leilly every been in the Service? Does he have children old enough to be in the military? It is amazining that Bushie daughters and congress children are not in the service. If they had to enlist we would not be in this war.
The recruiter shouldn’t be able to go in the high school. If anyone is interested they can go to their recruitment office to sign up. This is none of o’leilly business how the american voted in San Fran.
November 15th, 2005 at 10:24 am[...] Good Night, And Good Luck. O’Reilly is really starting to go over the deep end now. First he encourages a terrorist attack on San Francisco because they’re banning recruiting tactics in their high schools. Then he blames left-wing websites for taking his comments and raking him over the coals for it. Some far left internet smear sites have launched a campaign to get me fired over my point of view. I believe they do this on a daily basis. This time the theme is O’Reilly is encouraging terrorist attacks. Unbelievably stupid. Not unusual with these guttersnipes. [...]

November 15th, 2005 at 10:30 amI may be mistaken about this (and I apologize to all if I am), but doesn’t the “No Child Left Behind Act” require schools to hand over personal data on their teenage students to the Pentagon if they want to receive funding under the act? Something like that? Was I way off in my hearing on this one?
If this is true, then it is yet one more reason to repeal this stupid, fraudulently promoted piece of legislation.
November 15th, 2005 at 10:33 amWe’ll post the names of all who support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com. So check with us.
Anything for a little pub., right Billbo?
November 15th, 2005 at 10:34 amPlease, sign me up, I support all that expose your lying spin.
Just as soon as the Dild creates his enemies list, someone should make a website named something like “EnemiesOfDildO’Rielly.com so that we can create a master list of people who dislike Dild’s McCarthyite tactics.
November 15th, 2005 at 10:41 amI’m sure we could create a list 100 times larger than Dild’s simply by having people volunteer their names.
Oh! Oh! Pick me! Pick me!
November 15th, 2005 at 10:50 amPerhaps an artist can create a “badge of honor” for sites that make it onto O-Reilly’s list. I’m envisioning a piece of falafel with ribbons or some kind of fancy embellishment…
November 15th, 2005 at 10:54 amUnfortunately you can only e-mail Bill directly to ask to be put on his enemies list if you’re a “Premium Member.”
http://www.billoreilly.com/pg/jsp/general/contact.jsp
He rips progressives and liberal every day on his television and radio shows, and he’s making enemies lists because he’s ripped right back on the interent?
As with all bullies, he’s just a spineless, pathetic coward.
November 15th, 2005 at 10:59 am#124 – yes that’s true… part of that provision also states that schools must notify parents that their kids can opt out… many schools are doing the former (providing lists to the military) but not the latter… I’ve been emailing my local school to ask if they’re in compliance and they’ve yet to respond in any way…
November 15th, 2005 at 10:59 amYou have to be a paid subscriber to EMAIL him on his site!!!
Wow… also his photo looks like he may have something pleasuring him… Maybe a new staffer is working on him?
November 15th, 2005 at 11:06 amI want to be on the list … it’s like the 100 People Who Are Screwing Up America … an honor. We have to figure out a way to punch through.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:11 am#131 Or just e-mail him at oreilly@foxnews.com .
I do it once a week or so to remind him that he’s a coward. And an idiot. A boorish jerk. A pervert. A hypocrite. Other things, too. It’s fun, and it doesn’t cost you any more than any other e-mail costs to send.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:12 amActually, you can just email him here: oreilly@foxnews.com
November 15th, 2005 at 11:12 amPlease add me to the list of people who support the smear merchants.
Thank you for your kind consideration.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:16 amMary Poppin-
O’Reilly somehow mysteriously managed to avoid getting drafted during the Vietnam War, even though he had played a year of college football. He certainly did not volunteer to join the Army during that time, in spite of his inference to how patriotic he is and his quickness to label others who dare to protest the war and call for withdrawal of U.S. troops in Iraq as being unamerican. His children are too young to be in the military, both of them being about three and five years of age, but with the U.S. stuck in the quagmire of Iraq, their opportunity to fight on the fight lines and erase their father’s guilt could happen in about fifteen years, if not in Iraq then in another country that the U.S. chooses to invade.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:19 amIf he doesn’t put News Corpse on the list, I’ll sue him.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:23 amSign me up, BO, teeny tiny falafel boy.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:36 amI sent Bill a nice email at oreilly@foxnews.com thanking him for promising to post a list of sites that will actually be honest about what Bill says. It will be nice to have all the great sites in one place as anyone who views Bill O’Reilly with a critical eye instantly earns 1000 bonus points for credibility.

November 15th, 2005 at 11:45 amOÂ’Reilly Resorts To McCarthyism, Plans To Publish Online Enemies List

Hey falafel man!
Don’t forget to add ME to your list you big headed sex pervert.
This is one of those “list’s” I’d be PROUD to be on. you asswipe.
Take your fascists McCarthysim and stick it right up your self righteous, “holier than thou” ass you pumpkin head. Just for the record the name goes with “at-excite” for email.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:12 pmThis kind of free publicity will be good for the sites he lists. This is almost as good as the 50 cent “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” movie poster snafu that kept the movie’s name in the news leading up to the opening of the flick. Thanks, Bill!
November 15th, 2005 at 12:14 pmI told O’Lielly that he can’t leave me off his list: knowing how much he HATES the ACLU, I mentioned that I’m a card-carrying member. That ought to guarantee that I get on the list!
I used oreilly@foxnews.com, because if you go to his own website, you have to JOIN UP – ugh!
November 15th, 2005 at 12:15 pmBring it bitch.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:16 pmSay didn’t Homer have a list too?
November 15th, 2005 at 12:39 pmWhen O’Reilly originally made his comments about San Francisco, who was the “we” he was talking about? “If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, *we’re* not going to do anything about it.” ??? He’s not in the military. He’s never been in the military. … I hate it when conservatives claim to be part of the military when most of them are about as connected to the military as Pee Wee Herman. Word.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:41 pmIf BO’s really going to create an “Enemies List”, I have just one question: How do I sign up?
November 15th, 2005 at 12:42 pmWhy is o’leilly making a “Enemies List” because we are all entitled to our opinions. He just has a big mouth. I cann’t believe Fox has not fired this guy.
November 15th, 2005 at 12:50 pmWhat about the non-serving people speaking against a section of the military that doesn’t agree with them for the war. Take your pick, they all fall in the same category. Where do you have the right to speak against the soldier that believes in what he is doing if you haven’t served?
November 15th, 2005 at 12:54 pmI sent him an email asking to be on it because, well, I think he is a talentless hack and a blowhard.
I can dream, can’t I????
Frank
November 15th, 2005 at 1:00 pm‘Obese, fear filled, under-educated masses serving billionaires and Communist China’ is over if you want it.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:04 pmO’Reilly is ugly and has an irritating cadence. Oh and not to mention that little “falafel” incident he bought his way out of. All in all, an inconsequential twit of the first order.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:04 pm# 121: O’Reilley has a nephew who just joined the Army. You can read about it (and watch the video of Reilley flipping out at Donahue)
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2005/09/22.html
“And he’s a patriot, so don’t denigrate his service or I’ll boot you right off the set!”
November 15th, 2005 at 1:10 pmlock him up for inciting violence over the air in the public domain. He is a public nuisance and (bull)shit disturber…or force feed his meds to him (like the horrors he supports at Gitmo/Abu Gharib)and stick him in the rubber room, then off to surgery for a lobotomy.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:11 pmAnyone know where I can sign up to be added to his list?
November 15th, 2005 at 1:12 pmBring your list on BO. While your at it start another list and label it “Anti-American” and put your handle first out. You and the administration are so low they could sit on a dime and swing their feet.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:13 pmHe’ll post the names of the people directly behind the sites he dislikes. He won’t post the names of the sites. That’s a guarantee – he’s not going to want to point his readers to sites that show him for what he really is. Hey, maybe you’ll get your physical address and telephone numbers posted. That’d be great, FOX would have to fire him.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:15 pmI’ll gladly add my name to this jackass’s list…hope he spells it correctly: it’s B I L L R O Z E N
hope he adds my lefty website: http://www.trueblueliberal.com
November 15th, 2005 at 1:16 pmI’m sorry, WHAAAAAAAT???? Anyone who does not encourage/invite al Qaeda to blow up American cities is “anti-military”?! How does this idiot’s mind work? He’s utterly insane. Everything that spews from his mouth is not just untrue, but flat-out nuts. Imagine having this creepy, perverted, mentally unhinged lunatic calling you up and talking dirty to you?
November 15th, 2005 at 1:16 pmRepublicans claimed that Bill Maher didn’t deserve to be on the air because he dared say that perhaps some american policies deserved terrorist attack. And here we are with a REPUBLICAN commentator who says that some ‘american’ policies (yes San Francisco politics ARE american politics) such as challenging laws and their constitutionality deserves a terrorist attack.
This is just the sort of hypocrisy that shows how truly unamerican, and unjust republicans are. They’re selfish, evil and immoral people, and their shameful actions are our national disgrace! Republicans dishonor us all!
November 15th, 2005 at 1:17 pmWhat? You mean the guys in the white jackets haven’t managed to corral B.O. yet? Amazing! Hey Bill, if we ever succeed and get you removed from the media, you can always apply for the job of Iraqi information minster. You skills at denial are about the same as the last guy to have that job and its safe to say you are every bit as funny (and credible).
By the way.. can I please, please, pretty please be on your list?
November 15th, 2005 at 1:18 pmWhat a bunch of whiners!
November 15th, 2005 at 1:22 pmoreilly@foxnews.com
I just asked if i could be on the list. You should too. Give your name and State. Be proud.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:23 pmI just posted a piece on my website concerning the BUSH PROPAGANDA CHANNEL. It’s about me and my buddy, Motel Todd, watching FNC and some of the comments we make as we witness direct falsehoods and bigoted speech by these obnoxious assholes. Click on my name to go there.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:24 pmI enjoy keeping track of what liberals do. I belong to a site that does nothing all day except troll at DemocraticUnderground.
Yes, I’m a loser with no life.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:25 pm#124: As #130 correctly responded to your question, NCLB does require student data be provided to the military AND it does provide the option for every parent to “opt out” of having their student/child included on that list. Every parent should take the moments that #130 did to call your school district and ask what outreach they are doing to ensure parents realize their child’s personal information can be excluded from disclosure to military recruiters.
Americans of every generation will sign on to fight in defense of the founding principles of this great nation — but that’s not what’s going on in Iraq.
O’Reilly is a dangerous man prone to criminal conduct. Not because I think so, but because our laws and democratic tenets say so…based upon his behavior.
Support the elimination of O’Reilly as a “media personality.” And support an arrest warrant being issued for his “invitation” to terrorists to attack an American city and its residents, without fear of resistance or reprisal. Being a big-mouth with a small intellect does not absolve him of responsibility for having endorsed terror on American soil. He’d spew for weeks if Al Franken had made any remotely similar statement. We don’t need to wish O’Reilly dead (nature will take care of that chore), just do all we can to help him move ever closer to being poor while he’s still above ground.

November 15th, 2005 at 1:31 pmWhat do Bill and Arnold have in common? They are both actors ‘playing’ at being both informed and intelligent. Bill worries more about his make up (don’t tell me you haven’t noticed it!)getting the lighting right on his face and his script, than the real world he is reporting on. The guy is a clown with no real power. Murdoch would sack him in a second if his ratings weren’t so high….so the logical extension…..let’s begin a boycott of watching his show. I am starting now. If only 100,000 people join me for one month – he’s toast. (ratings are still so backwards this will work)
November 15th, 2005 at 1:31 pmHave any of you actually watched O’Reilly? While he shouldn’t of made the SanFran comment, he did have the guy on last night who “authored” the ban on military recruiting in SanFran (the guy challeneged O’Reilly to a debate actually). While O’Reilly certainly leans right, he hasn’t been particularly kind to the Bush administration lately (again, if you watched, you’d know this). In general, I’ve found he at least invites both sides of any issue on his tv show to debate …
November 15th, 2005 at 1:36 pmI’d consider it to be a mark of patriotic honor to be included on his list of enemies.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:38 pmtoo bad that all these posts can’t be automatically forwarded to someone@foxnews.com.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:43 pmI made a trip to my local Comcast office yesterday and disconnected my Extended Basic Cable in protest to Fox. I’m enjoying your hysteria.
Yes, you are traitors. When you get together with your friends at parties and drop the pretenses, you admit it.
November 15th, 2005 at 1:46 pmIf Al Qaeda comes in here and blows me up, we’re not going to do anything about it,†he continued. “We’re going to say, ‘look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except my face. You want to blow up the my eyebrows? Go ahead.”

November 15th, 2005 at 1:50 pmYes, Stephen, we’re traitors. We don’t believe al Qaeda should blow up American cities, and we don’t invite them to do so. In your video-game, Unabomber mind, that makes us “traitors.” If we were *real* Americans, we’d *want* al Qaeda to blow up any Americans who don’t agree with Bill O’Reilly.
Talk about hysteria.

I watched this last night. Usually, I can’t stand to see the sight of BO’s face (almost as much as I can’t stand to look at Bush [George W., that is]), but I had to see how he would try to weasel out of it. Well, as we all know now, he didn’t. He owned up to it and loved every second of his anti-American rant. Of course, he tried to pin the whole thing on disrespecting the troops. When are he and his ilk going to drop that lame position? Everything is not about disrespecting troops. BO hadn’t even read the initiative that San Franciscans voted on. He didn’t even know that part of it included bringing the troops home. He embarrassed himself to no end, as usual. I for one will continue to write Fox News and demand that BO be terminated. Since he wouldn’t apologize for his inflammatory comments, he needs to go. I will also continue to write Fox News advertisers and urge them to discontinue their support of this very UN-American “news” channel.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:00 pmFox derives a majority of its profit from advertising which they can sell at a premium due to the amount of viewers they command. You guys aren’t watching Fox as it is … so disconnecting your cable won’t really do much to “hurt” … maybe a dent in their subscriber revenue.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:00 pmYou’re right Giacomo, however a personal savings of $44 plus dollars if you do not subscribe to any other premium channels and maybe make a dent in subscriber revenue. Advertising revenues will drop if we make this a movement!
November 15th, 2005 at 2:04 pmIt’s a pile on for the shit list! Is there a submission form to be considered for it? Just in case O’Reilly’s people are checking this out: PLEASE have a peak at my comments!

November 15th, 2005 at 2:08 pmOne would think that as a confirmed sexual libertine, O’Bill would be all for San Francisco and what it symbolizes. Come on down to a bar in my town Billy, see how long you last before your blabber mouth gets your head caved in by a Vietnam Vet.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:08 pmRemember the NRA’s blacklist a few years ago? A movement started to get on the list. Everyone wanted to be on it, celebrities were signing up to be on it.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:09 pmHow much more of this asshole do we have to take?
November 15th, 2005 at 2:11 pmStephen,
Sure, you throw out the name ‘traitor’, but you are nothing more than a coward. The lowest form of coward. The most frightened chicken boy that lives. Like all the Chicken Hawks who’ll send anyone to war, except themselves, you are bravest when you are not at risk. Big talk when you can hide behind your computer and let others do your dying.
You want to be a patriot? Go enlist in bush boy’s war and see all the freedom and democracy first hand. But that would take courage and conviction on your part, and the fact that you support the war on blog sites tells us that you are just one more of many Republicowards.
bok bok Chicken Hawk
November 15th, 2005 at 2:11 pmJust drapped this in ol’ Bad Billy’s mailbox…
Wow, Billy…this is the KEWELEST thing yet…a chance to be on yer “enemies list” would be, like, the AWESOMEST thing in the world! I can’t WAIT to tell all my friends that YOU have added my name, and that you may even mention it during one of yer spittle-flecked diatribes on yer little teevee program! SCHWEET!
(And if you could manage to choke to death in an empurpled rage *while* saying my name between clenched little rat teeth, that would be even BETTER!!)
Bestest, d00d…

November 15th, 2005 at 2:12 pmI will agree with Bill O’Reilly on this one, his piece about San Francisco was satirical, that is the explanation that he presented himself and any educated adult should know by now that O’Reilly “bloviating” is a comedy piece, a long, ostentatious, stupid joke..
November 15th, 2005 at 2:13 pmI just sent the following to Bill via his website. I hope he reads it, and I urge everyone here to send their own such letter.
Dear Bill O’Reilly,
Please add me to your upcoming Enemies List.
I heartily support MediaMatters.com, ThinkProgress.org, a wide variety of liberal causes, and last but not least the principles of the American Constitution upon which our government is founded. I strongly believe that all citizens have the right to self-determination, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of conscience, and freedom of association. I believe that our government is accountable to the people of the United States, and that transparency in that government is essential to our continued liberty.
I also vehemently oppose the war in Iraq and the treasonous bastards who have wasted so many American lives and so much American treasure there. Our military should be hunting Osama bin Laden and other terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan, not making and training hordes of new terrorists in Iraq. It is because I care for and support our valorous sons and daughters in the military that I condemn the waste of their lives and limbs in the fool’s errand in Iraq. I urge all eligible youth to stay far away from the military, until the present period of madness has passed away, and we can all be assured that their talents will once again be used for just purposes.
Your incessant, nationalistic bloviations against thinking people of conscience who oppose our present scurrilous and cowardly administration makes it an honor to be your enemy.
Yours most sincerely,
Steven Cason
November 15th, 2005 at 2:17 pmFreeland, Maryland
I don’t know what’s more pathetic, O’Reilly’s comments or that he thinks people will believe he’s capable of satire.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:18 pmSay Bill: In the interest of getting your list up and running as soon as possible… just write down the names of each and every American here and abroad… then scratch out about 30 percent of those names. Now you have an acurate reflection of the number of people that disagree with you. (Give or take a few hundred thousand)…
November 15th, 2005 at 2:21 pmI sent O’Reilly an email actually requesting to be on his enemies list. And I requested that he spell my name correctly.
His email address is oreilly@foxnews.com.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:25 pmThe only way to put an end to the crazy old coots rantings is to choke off his funding. His sponsors are:
Equifax
Life Quotes, Inc.
EmigrantDirect.com
Tempur-Pedic
Write to them and let them know how you feel about Bill’s treasonous call for an attack on an American city. Let the sponsors know they are also responsible for allowing this crime to be aired. Let all your friends know who his sponsors are and encourage them to take their business elsewhere. Money is the only thing that talks to the right wing.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:34 pmFox’s Orwellian “war-is-peace,” “tolerance-is-hateful,” “smart-is-stupid” dogmas.
I made a trip to my local Comcast office yesterday and disconnected my Extended Basic Cable in protest to Fox. In exchange I took home a cable box that allows me access to BBC, Discovery, etc. AND the best is that I will save $30 a month on my cable bill. O’Reilly may have a right to Freedom of Speech but folks if you really disagree do you want to continue sending them your money?
Basic Cable $16.69 per month
Extended Basic $44.59 per month (this is where Fox is)
Any of the packages that require the cable box are roughly $10.00 – $14.00 per month.
You need not subscribe to Extended Basic to access premium movies, educational, etc.
SAVE MONEY, STOP SENDING YOUR MONEY TO FOX! Turn off your Extended Basic – there is no fee to do this!
Newspapers, PBS, CSpan, CBS are all terrific news sources and are available on Basic Cable! DISCONNECT YOUR EXTENDED CABLE AND STOP SENDING YOUR MONEY TO FOX! This is how we will get results!

November 15th, 2005 at 2:39 pmThis article in the Nation says everything about SanFrancisco. The Bay area refuses to be brainwashed.

November 15th, 2005 at 2:43 pmPlease o please put me on the list!
November 15th, 2005 at 2:43 pmI wrote Bill (oreilly@foxnews.com) the following:
Dear Bill,
Rumor is you’re putting together an “Enemies List”. I know we don’t really know each other, even though you work in the building a block away, but I would really be grateful if you included me on your list. Every day I wish you get hit by a bus while crossing Sixth Avenue (or better yet choke on some falafel while eating lunch!), but then I hear you’ve successfully navigated to the studio and called for yet another terrorist attack on a great American city. Dang!
Oh well, you’re in my prayers every day—Please God! Let today be the day! Amen.
Very sincerely,
Ari Reyes
Here’s to hoping he puts me on the list!
November 15th, 2005 at 2:45 pm“We’ll post the names of all who support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com.”
Dear Bill,
Please add me to your Enemies List. Nothing could make me prouder than to be counted among those who reject obnoxious, petty bloviation.
Have another falafel, Mr. Peabody.
November 15th, 2005 at 2:46 pmAnyone have an E-MAil address to sent to Fox News to fire Bill O’Reilly. Thanks
November 15th, 2005 at 2:59 pmAt Agitprop, we call on all bloggers to email O’Reilly and DEMAND to be included on the Enemies List. There’s a link to his email.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:01 pmWRITE FOX NEWS CHANNEL ADVERTISERS AND DEMAND THEY DISCONTINUE THEIR SUPPORT OF THIS ANTI-AMERICAN “NEWS” CHANNEL. A quick search for “Boycott Fox News Channel Advertisers” brings up several websites that contain contact information (email and snail mail) for these entities.
A sample letter below that I have used:
As you are no doubt aware, Bill O’Reilly of Fox News Channel recently called for a terrorist attack on the City of San Francisco because he did not agree with the voters’ decision to ban military recruiting on San Francisco high school campuses. Rather than be a gentleman and apologize for his remarks, Mr. O’Reilly instead decided to defend his anti-American speech and call for terrorism. Mr. O’Reilly has clearly developed amnesia regarding the affect September 11 had on our country and the American people. Your continued support of Fox News Channel equals support of Bill O’Reilly. As an American citizen of this great country, I ask that you withdraw your support from Fox News Channel. Show Americans that you care for us and our country by discontinuing advertising on Fox News Channel. There are hundreds of cable outlets in which to spend your advertising dollar. The American people deserve better. Advertise elsewhere, and NOT on Fox News Channel. Thank you for your anticipated support in this regard.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:05 pmO’Reilly is so entertaining. It’s just so sad so many people soak up all his bs.
I emailed him to “congratulate him” about his cool enemy list and to ask that I be included. I reposted it on my blog. You know, if you’re into that kind of thing.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:07 pmO’Reilly has now become the Bette Davis of pundits.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:11 pm[...] Last night, Bill O’Reilly referred to his comments approving of a terrorist attack on San Francisco as a “satirical riff.” We’re not sure President Bush would agree. [...]
November 15th, 2005 at 3:19 pmBill, Keep up the good work, their so confused, they might actually put the brain in gear. It’s doubtful as to whether or not the body will just spin to the left. But, it’ll be fun to watch. Maybe some day they’ll get to 2nd grade.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:35 pmBill O’Reilly:
“I will not EVER trust the Bush Administration if weapons of mass destruction are not found in IRAQ”
Nuff Said!!!
November 15th, 2005 at 3:38 pmEww, Mr. O’Splotchity, you’re scaring me, stop it.
Or at least promise that when your crusade against those who would dare align America with its espoused founding principles is crushed, you will do as your role model, Mr. McCarthy, did– that is, crawl the rest of the way into the bottle and rot.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:47 pmThis patriotic liberal retired army officer, a veteran of special ops in Vietnam DEMANDS to be put on the O’Reilly enemy list. What better place to be than together with comrades who oppose fascists like O’Reilly.
He is nothing but a coward and bully, a member of the Rush Limbaugh Chickenhawk Brigade, who talks tough but avoids service to his country if it calls for placing himself in harm’s way.
Where were you cowering during my two tours in Vietnam, Bill?

An “Enemies List”,
November 15th, 2005 at 3:49 pmOh, really O’Reilly!!
Please put my name on the list O’Reilly, really!!
What a great compliment it would be to be on your “Enemies List”. My grandchildren could read your list and see my name on it, and swell with great pride that I desired to be an enemy of yours. I was an enemy of your mentor “Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy” even though I was only 10 years old at the time.
Looking forward with great anticipation to see if I make the cut. If it will help to get me on the list, I think you’re silly ass who loves to hate, because you are a clown a buffoon.
I would like to write Mr. O’Reilly and ask him to include me on his list. I am not anti-milltary, but I don’t believe that if the people in any given community support a prohibition on millatry recruiters on college and high school campuses then that’s their perogative. Isn’t that one of the hallmark’s of Republicanism? I’m not sure why Mr. O’Reilly is upset over a community excersizing its soveriegn power.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:49 pm214 Maybe some day you will learn the difference between they’re their and there… I would imagine by the time you reach 5th Grade you should know…
Z.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:52 pmIt would be a great honor to be on his enemies list
November 15th, 2005 at 3:52 pmFound this on DailyKos and thought it hilarious:
“Dear Bill O’Reilly. Please put me on your Enemies List. It’s “Hunter”, H-U-N-T-E-R.
As for the reason, please put down “thinks it would be hysterical if al-Zarqawi beat you to death with a shovel.”
November 15th, 2005 at 3:54 pmI just tried to send an e-mail message to Mr. O. from his website (my god that many needs to organize his site–what an eyesore!) but in orfer to do this, you have to become a Premium Member! So, in essense, like his hero, W. he is not going to hear from anybody except those who affirm their loyalty first. What a jerk!
So since I can’t, or won’t, be on Bill’s Premium Member list, I may as well ask to be added to his enemies list.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:59 pmBill O’Reilly is a educate fool, and every time he open his chicken hawk mouth proves it.I hoping he put me on his hit list so I can show him how it feel to be hit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:01 pmKAH-CHING! JACK POT!! CLASS ACTION SUIT plus PUNATIVE DAMAGES against FOX NEWS and Bill O’Reilly… Just get your name on the “No Spin” hitlist, sit back, and the lawyers will do the rest.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:03 pmBy the way, if I could ask Mr. Bill a question, it would be since he is so gung ho to allow military recruiting on school campuses, why doesn’t he set the example and sign up? Or if any children were so unfortunate to be his, why not trot their asses down to the recruiting station.
Or is he just like Rush, Chenney, Wolfowitz, and all the rest of those chicken hawks who think they can better serve their (correct usage) country here at home?
November 15th, 2005 at 4:04 pmIf I read this article correctly, it seems that Mr. O’Reilly has a problem with the result of an election. I always thought that this is how a democracy works. Is his problem with the democratic process? I have always been taught that in a democracy, the majority rules and that peopole need to work through the system to change. I guess that folks like O’Reilly and Pat Robertson just have a real problem with democracy.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:05 pmDoes this man (detached from any but his own reality as he may be) not know that the last time they tried to purge this country of those impure of patriotic thought (as determined by THEM), it, er, ended very badly… for THEM?
Maybe he’s planning on milking the homegrown fascist McCarthyite thing for all it’s worth, and then bailing to the mountains of Montana, never to be seen again? Because he can’t possibly believe this is gonna work out. History is NOT on O’R’s side.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:10 pmI just landed the contract to supply material for the new Bill O’Reilly Loofah Products!
For an extra $5.00 . . . I hear he’ll even load up your loofah with his personal DNA!
Hey Billy! I’ll take mine with a side of falafel!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:14 pmSome far left internet smear sites have launched a campaign to get me fired over my point of view, i.e. advocating a terrorist attack on a major US city. I believe they do this on a daily basis, but I don’t know for sure because I’m only on this planet a few days a week. This time the theme is O’Reilly is encouraging terrorist attacks. Unbelievably stupid, in other words, typical O’Reilly. Did I mention unAmerican as well? Not unusual with these guttersnipes.
So, there you have it: anyone who dares to point out that Bill O’Reilly is an seriously unhinged wingnut is, according to the man himself, a guttersnipe. Well, it takes one to know one Bill. Would you recognize a terrorist if you saw one in the mirror? I doubt it.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:16 pmSubject: Please list me on your defamation “Hit List”
Date: 11/15/2005 4:24:48 PM Eastern Standard Time
From: XXXXX
To: oreilly@foxnews.com
At 52, I’m currently unemployed and although I don’t have liberal tendencies. I was wondering if you would nevertheless consider listing me on your No-Spin Defamation “hit list” so that I might be able to join the many others who intend on filing a class action law suit against FOX NEWS and O’REILLY.com for defamation of character. By the way, I am a vet and the punitive damages would help me pay to get my teeth fixed.
Thank you.

November 15th, 2005 at 4:30 pmI went to change my blog name to “far left internet smear site” but its taken.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:32 pmHey Bill, put my name on your list please. Pinhead.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:33 pmI suggest they change the name of O’Reilly’s show to truly reflect what a viewer should expect…I vote for “Sick, Sad World”…with apologies to the creator of the animated series “Daria”.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:34 pmBill O’Reilly’s hate list! Count me in!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:37 pmI’m in.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:40 pmCount me in!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:50 pmPut my blog on your list Bill. Please, oh please… I can’t stand you, really I can’t. I smear you every chance I get. Honest.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:55 pmIf you hate O’Reilly and I hate O’Reilly we are friends.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:57 pmO’Reilly was a seed for the neo-con agenda.
I wrote to O’Reilly and begged the loofah loving phone perv to put me on his enemies list, I can’t think of a better place to be!!
November 15th, 2005 at 5:03 pmWhy does anyone take this decadent showbiz fossil seriously? And…look: I know it’s wrong to diss anyone because of how they look, but he evokes a middle-aged drag queen who finally took off his make-up after thirty years of foundation, Judy Garland lip-synching, and mascara, and is now trying to “cross-over”. Laughable. He’s just a shameless showman. He’d say anything to stay in the (s)limelight. At this point he is a liability to any of the decent Republicans left out there in the morass of neo-conistas.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:04 pmIf O’Rielly posts a list can we file a class action suit for slander? If we band together and each contribute a small amount we could raise millions. It would be delicious to sue his as*? Ya-hoo!!! How about hiring Boice?? (He defended Gore) Can’t wait!!

I sure hope I make this one.

Maybe some commentators should watch some of their own mouths instead of the raving Bill O’ Reilly’s. Really, what he said is mild compared to what has come out of some of your mouths on this comment page. Shame, shame, shame.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:25 pmTen pounds of shit in a two pound bag.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:30 pmIs this the We repeort..you decide network.
“a campaign to get me fired over my point of view.”
I thought a journalist was suppossed to report the facts.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:32 pmDoes anyone have instructions for being included on O’Reilly’s list. I’d be kinda proud.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:47 pmSo what type of list shall we put O’Leilly on? Who else would be on it? Here are a few that come to mind:
1. Ann Coulter — now she’s a positive American role model with her bright and sunny personality (lol!), and she loves McCarthy and war too!
2. Sean Hannity — loud, bullying, closet racist, and open warmonger
3. Pat Robertson — wacko “minister” calling for assassinations and such (Jesus would be so proud!)
4. Rush Limbaugh — drug addicted, lying, blustering, pompous loonie toon, and chickenhawk who loves war
5. Big Dick Cheney — 5-time Vietnam War service evader, possible treasonist, propaganda slinger, protector of the wealthiest Americans, greedy fat cat who also loves war
6. Dubya — the list is sooooooo long — proud war president in a war of his own creation, awol during at least a year of Vietnam War, blindly stubborn, propaganda slinger, unconcerned with the poor and working class, rich boy, protector of the wealthiest Americans, war lover, environment hater…
(don’t forget Bolton, DeLay, Frist, Rove, Libby, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz!!!)
I see a bit of O’Leilly in all of these shining stars of the right! Ha! This list makes me proud to have my name on the antiwar, peace, intelligence, and thinking man’s list, aka O’Leilly’s list!
November 15th, 2005 at 5:49 pmEmail Bill to join the enemies list today! Maybe he’ll even say your name on the Factor and plug your blog!
Come join the Bill O’reilly enemies list! Send Bill an email to join!
November 15th, 2005 at 5:49 pmIf I’m on the list, will this mean I can get into all the good clubs and restaurants?
November 15th, 2005 at 5:51 pmO’Reilly is following in the footsteps of other neo-cons who become gradually nuttier each day. The poor man is clearly beginning to overheat. On his website he’s selling every bit of apparel other than a jockstrap and that’s likely to follow. When you need a chuckle be sure to go to the BillOreilly.Com site and check out Bill’s thumb-up portrait while wearing a faux-military flight jacket emblazoned with “No Spin” and an American flag.
Hmm, flight jacket, thumbs-up, patriotic pose of someone never in the military….it reminds me of someone I’m sure.
And as echoed throughout, put me on your list Billy, I’m just scared to death.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:52 pmLeave it to the intolerant hate breeding left-wingers to show their true side.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:52 pmDoes he need the full spelling of my name, address and all contact information? If so where do i need to forward. This is one list I want my ass on! What a honor to be on an enemies list of this thug. Just let me know what I have to do to “make it”….
November 15th, 2005 at 5:54 pmPersonally i think the guy is an idiot. He should get his rear-end kicked for all i care. (I was going to use foul language but i decided not to).
November 15th, 2005 at 5:57 pmIt’s amazing that people who claim the media is biased will support morons like this guy. What was that trash show he started out on? A Current Affair?

November 15th, 2005 at 6:19 pmSpeaking of “lists” ……If there is ever a “SCUMBAG HALL OF FAME”….for certain ….the first two inductees will most certainly be O’Reilly & Bush.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:24 pmBush …is very fortunate that he strongly resembles a chimp…..Most of the 35% of his current approval rating is from Anumal rights groups.
I just told Bill to make sure my name was on that list and to make sure that he lets the viewers know that “I’m a proud American who believes that dissent is the highest form of patriotism and that it is our duty and responsibility as citizens to question EVERYTHING our leaders and government officials do with our taxes, with our civil liberties and most especially with our LIVES!! So you just make sure that when you put all our names on this list, that you put the whole reason why were on that list and not just your own selfish, ignorant version of it.”
November 15th, 2005 at 6:31 pmI found it amusing that Gasbag O’Liely wanted to blow up Coit Tower in San Francisco…a memorial to fire fighters. We all know how subversive and un-American THEY are.
What can I do do get on his list? I would proudly put my name there.

November 15th, 2005 at 6:50 pmImagine how long his list will need to be. If anything, it will show his drooling red-state zombie followers just how many people in this country are sick and tired of his brand of hate-mongering. My guess is old ‘vibrator’ Bill won’t have the guts to post such a list.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:54 pmhttp://amconmag.com/2005/2005_11_21/article.html
Here goes the Kristol Media Nose Dive….
November 15th, 2005 at 7:05 pmTried to reach Bill at his Fox email address about making the Enemies List — mail delivery to that address was turned off.
November 15th, 2005 at 7:09 pmHe can put me on his list. He is one of the most obnoxious people on the box. If it wasn’t so serious I would only watch him for a laugh.
November 15th, 2005 at 7:26 pmBill O’Reilly is a bombastic jerk who believes he holds a position of great power to influence Americans – most see right through his “holier than thou” stance. But, I have to say he pales against Fox’s Brit Hume who is the epitome of pompass ass. Bush could murder his mother Babs and Brit (along with his pal F. Barnes) would spin it into a positive move for the Country.
November 15th, 2005 at 7:32 pmMr O’Reilly may never see the following e-mail sent this afternoon, due to staff screening out all of his “hate mail.”
November 15, 2005
What you said (and I read) about inviting terrorists to attack San Francisco, and specifically inviting them to bomb Coit Tower (I believe it is a Memorial to the firemen who died in the 1906 earthquake) solely because of current activities around this landmark, is a felony crime, Mr O’Reilly.
Shouting “Fire!” in a crowded theatre is still a crime. These comments were not an exercise in constitutionally-protected free speech, but a moment of publicly-recorded hate for certain segments of American citizenry, wrongfully conflating homosexuality with liberal/progressive politics.
It is not even darkly humorous to invite a terror group to destroy a population of Americans who dare to live a lifestyle you find offensive.
It is not hyperbole to suggest bombing Coit Tower just because it is frequented by the gay/lesbian population you so despise (keep in mind that our Very Principled Dick ‘I had other priorities’ Cheney has a daughter included among that group).
I suspect I would then be subjected to an announcement on ‘Fair and Balanced’ FOX News in which it is reported: “97 dykes and faggots died in the bombing of Coit Tower by terrorists last night. Many hundreds of innocent victims also died.”
It is not a satirical riff. You don’t understand satire, Mr O’Reilly, because you have no sense of humor.
It is a treasonous act to invite terrorists to attack any portion of these United States of America, Mr O’Reilly. I don’t know why the FBI or DHS has not approached FOX News about your open invitation to terrorists to commit a felonious crime on American soil.
I was in high school when Senator McCarthy first held up his list of 205 names of American communists (which quickly shrank to 81); in Korea during the Army-McCarthy hearings of 1954; and I have heard Mr Nixon tell the American people in 1971 about his Enemies List of 500-600 constantly changing names.
Mr O’Reilly, I would be pleased to be placed on your Enemies List, even though I have no website or blog.
Thank you.

O’Reilly doesn’t surprise me in the least. I’m sure I’ll
end up on his list and frankly all I can say is “bring it on!” BO is a slug and that’s putting it nicely.

November 15th, 2005 at 9:04 pm[...] Fox News pundit and all around blowhard Bill O’Reilly, who recently suggested that Al Queda terrorists should strike the city of San Francisco (”[I]f Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything about it. We’re going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead”) has now promised that he will expose his enemies on the Internet with a listing on billoreilly.com of “all who support the smear merchants.” This is aimed, of course, at all the folks who run left of center blogs that criticize him. I’ve never felt the need to criticize Mr. O’Reilly on this blog before, mostly because I could simply care less about him. I manage to make it through my day quite well without devoting much thought to the insane ramblings he tries to pass as news in the No Fact Zone. [...]

November 15th, 2005 at 10:10 pmTypical of all the Right-Wing scum in the media today, O’Lielly is so far gone in his hatemongering and lies I think he actually believes the majority of Americans support his brand of lunacy.
Here’s hoping this “GUTTERSNIPE”, which is an apt word to describe him, is off the air soon. Anyone who encourages terrorists to bomb an American city, is in my view, and I believe the VAST majority of Americans, nothing but a sick, pathetic lunatic at the very least, and very likely a terrorist himself.
Thank God for sites like Media Matters, which expose the filth and lies this man and his ilk spout every day.
As for his list, my only comment is hahahahahahaha.

November 15th, 2005 at 10:11 pmYou guys are mean. If you could just see me right now, you would see me shaking my index finger right about now. Oh, you plebians. Sure, I resort to sexual harassment from time to time and perhaps lie everytime I open my mouth, but I’ll be a monkey’s uncle if I allow these outrageous assaults on my good name to continue. Point #1-I have never had sex with a goat. It was clearly a sheep. Point #2- I did not say the terrorists should blow up the Coit Tower. I clearly said the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s ugly. Point #3 and perhaps the most pivotal, I did take a shower with a falafel. It was actually baklava and some white rice. Hey, don’t bash it until you try you pinheads.

November 15th, 2005 at 10:46 pmBill,
Please! Please! Please! Place my name on your enemies list. I would consider this a great honor to be among a large and diverse group of intelligent individuals who believe strongly in American freedoms, the Constitution, civil rights, truth and honesty, and yes, values. I would prefer to be associated with those who are willing to stand up and fight for these principles instead of staying silent and quietly (and cowardly) acquiescing to those, including yourself, who would like to see our form of government replaced by a monarchy of another king george.
By being included in your distinguished list, I hope to be joining the ranks of those whose names were on similar enemies lists compiled by Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, and others who have tried to suppress the voice of ordinary Americans who had the courage to simply say and do what was right.
I believe that the citizenry not only have a right, but a moral obligation to question and challenge tyranny at all levels of government. I truly believe that such people are the true patriots this country so desperately needs. As Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence (I strongly suggest you read it for a change), “A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.â€
To this end I humbly submit my name.

As many of you may question the authenticity of this list, you might as well please us by getting your very own copy of it. It is right there for you dear friends, lol! It is for any American citizent to see. Just wright to your Federal office and ask to have a copy of the entire list of enlisted Mayors, Governors, Senators, Capital Hill and white house polititians sitting and now serving. You can also get it by directly asking your Countys or States Federal office for the full covering list of the specific party that you are interested in investigating. Buty we assure you, this list is of the most undisputed credibility, cause you see, It is your very own goverment through the Armed forces of the United States that files it.

Fire goes out more elegantly by removing oxygen…we progressives are elegant….sufficate the bastards. SHUT UP!

And O’Reilly is extreme right? WTF are you people talking about? The guy worked on RFK’s campaign and is anti-death penalty.
O’Reilly’s just a really loud gadfly. Don’t blame him on the right.

November 15th, 2005 at 11:47 pmIMPORTANT … PLEASE READ
Dear friend,
I shouldn’t have to write an email like this. It shouldn’t even cross George Bush’s mind to pardon Scooter Libby. Yet George Bush refuses to come out and just plainly tell the American people, if Scooter Libby or anyone else is found guilty of a crime in connection with Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation, he will not pardon them.
Last week, myself, and Senators Durbin, Schumer and Biden, sent a letter to George Bush asking him not to pardon Scooter Libby. So far the White House has not responded. Now it’s your turn.
Sign our emergency petition telling George Bush: You must pledge not to pardon Scooter Libby or anyone else convicted as part of Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation:
http://giveemhellharry.com/page/petition/libby
Scooter Libby cannot rely on his close relationship with George Bush or Dick Cheney to obtain the kind of extraordinarily special treatment unavailable to ordinary Americans. To put it simply, a pardon in these circumstances would signal that this White House considers itself above the law. Only swift public action by George Bush will make clear that he takes seriously perjury and obstruction of justice at the highest levels of our government and that he meant what he said about bringing honor and dignity to the White House.
Sign the emergency petition by visiting:
http://giveemhellharry.com/page/petition/libby
Thank you,
Harry Reid
PS Here is the letter my fellow Senators and I sent to George Bush:
November 8, 2005
The Honorable George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20500
Dear Mr. President:
The indictment of I. Lewis Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney’s Chief of Staff, marks the first time in 131 years that a senior White House official has been charged with a crime while still serving in the White House. The charges, while not yet proven, are extraordinarily serious and deeply disturbing.
Although it is too early to judge Mr. Libby guilty or innocent of these particular charges, it is not too early for you to reassure the American people that you understand the enormous gravity of the allegations. To this end, we urge you to pledge that if Mr. Libby or anyone else is found guilty of a crime in connection with Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation, you will not exercise your authority to issue a Presidential pardon.
It is crucial that you make clear in advance that, if convicted, Mr. Libby will not be able to rely on his close relationship with you or Vice President Cheney to obtain the kind of extraordinarily special treatment unavailable to ordinary Americans. In addition you should do nothing to undermine Mr. Fitzgerald’s investigation or diminish accountability in your White House. A pardon in these circumstances would signal that this White House considers itself above the law.
We also urge you to state publicly whether anyone in the White House including White House counsel Harriet Miers or Vice President Cheney has already discussed the possibility of a pardon with Mr. Libby. Particularly given that the American people are still in the dark about what precisely transpired in the White House with respect to the CIA leak, it would be highly inappropriate if there were such discussions going on behind the scenes.
Swift public action on your part will make clear that you take seriously perjury and obstruction of justice at the highest levels of our government and that you meant what you said about bringing honor and dignity to the White House. We eagerly await your response and hope that you will announce your intentions promptly.
Respectfully,
Sen. Harry Reid, Democratic Leader
Sen. Dick Durbin, Assistant Democratic Leader
Sen. Debbie Stabenow, Democratic Conference Secretary
Sen. Chuck Schumer, Chairman of Campaign Committee

November 16th, 2005 at 12:15 amTHE RAPTURE LIST?
I know I’m just an individual “smear merchant” who fancies truth, liberty, civil rights, human rights, peace, negotiation over sabre-rattling, responsibility in journalism and all that other retro-hippie “anti-American” stuff. It’s not like I’m a whole city or an entire liberal blog or anything, so maybe I’m not worth your time. But sign me up too Bill.
Put me on the list because I’ll sing it loud, I’ll sing it proud and I want everyone to know it (and not just my fellow man if you know what I mean. If not, see below). Please? Please? Pretty please? Come on, Bill, you can do it. I know you can! Just Google me. I come up #1. Or better yet. Here’s my name: Raphie Frank. That’s me. Yup. How hard can that be? Tell me you’ll publish my name too?
Why so adamant about this?
Well, here’s my thinking Bill. It’s my own little special communique with the Great One (not Bush, and… no, no no, not you either! I’m talking about God here, Bill!). Now, look, I don’t think He really wants us to go about upping the Rapture Index (see “There Is No Tomorrow” by Bill Moyers) to force Last Judgement on our asses. I don’t think he much cottons to wars of choice, willful ignorance of the harm we’re doing to this ‘lil ‘ol globe he put together for us in his spare time, that kind of thing. I don’t think God really likes to have his hand forced on these kinds of end-of-the-world issues. Know what I mean?
BUT. Just in case I’m wrong and Judgement Day really does come sooner than later, what happens if I’m not on your list? I might have to convince ‘ol Saint Pete or something that I should still be allowed through the Pearly Gates. Being that I’m an American and all that, Saint Pete might actually think I’m a pro-torture, pro-deception, “give to the rich and send the poor to the Astrodome or Iraq” bully without thought or concern for my fellow world citizens. I’ll tell him, “oh, no, that wasn’t me” but one might forgive him for not trusting an American these days… Or, even if he believes me, what if he says to me “Well, what did you do to stop it?” I’d hate not to have an answer for him or have to say “nothing,” Because, Bill, see there’s this little thing called COLLECTIVE GUILT. Maybe you heard a little something about that back after WWII?
But with just one small act of good will you, you Bill, can redeeem me. You and you alone. For I am sure that anyone on your list is on the sail-past-the-velevet-rope, do-not-pass-hell, go-straight-to-paradise guest list of Heaven. So when Pete asks me “What did you do?” I’ll just pull out your list, call it the Rapture List, and he’ll see my name and say, “Oh, okay. You’re one of the smearful ones. Cool.” and I’m pretty damn near certain he’ll just wave me straight on in.
Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay! You got me. God knows EVERYTHING. And He’ll get it right in the end. He’ll know my heart and He’ll read this post eventually even if you don’t. But God’s going to have his hands full at the End of Days and Peter ain’t all-seeing God and I lived in Eastern Europe in the early ’90’s and, truth be told, I’ve really got this thing about standing in lines ever since. Still, think you could see your way to helping me out here?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:10 amBilly you little Bush butt boy. You phony little loud mouth Sissy. Please, please, please put my name on your list. How dare you call a strike on your own country!!!! You know we live in a treacherous world. Particularly those of us in the public eye. And I talked about this a little bit but not a lot over the past year or so, that we get lots of threats against me here at FOX News and Westwood One [syndicator of O'Reilly's radio show]. And most of the threats come in [a] physical manner, we’re gonna kill him or hurt him or get his family or burn his house down, and — you know, whatever.

Murdoch Media and Fux news are part of the Main culprits as the Neo-Cons never had much of a ‘Grass Roots’ following, they are Pure Media Hyperbole, as is iRVING fASCIST Kristol LIE-O-CON StrAussian religionless medai, thats in short, how we got , here, today, with O’Liely and Fux News. –AJ
I have two questions:
1. Does O’ Reilly have children?
2. Are any of them signed up for the service?
If the answer to both those questions is “NO”, then he can kiss my fat ass.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:28 amBill O’Rielly is correct to publish the list of political cancer centers. These reactionary malcontents appear to be attending a septic systems seminar because all they want to do is stir shit up. They represent a malignancy that will destroy our country. If their dreams and goals are realized and Al Qaeda, or the equivalent, take over they will be the first to complain.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:42 amI suggest we start an “Enemies of Freedom” or perhaps an “Enemies of Democracy” list. Or how about the “Hack Journalist List”? Or the “Directory of Crypto-Racist Media Personalities”? Or any creative title we can come up with. Here are a few entries to get us started:
1. Rush Limbaugh
November 16th, 2005 at 9:45 am2. Ann Coulter
3. Michael Savage
4. Bill O’Reilly (boy will he be pissed that he is not #1)
5……..just keep it going!
It would be an honor to be on O’Reilly’s list. I am not “anti-military.” I am anti-O’Reilly.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:55 am–is anyone yet selling t-shirts saying “i’m on bill’s list”, or something to that effect? i’d like to buy one.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:56 amI’d start a web site just so I CAN be on the O’Reilly blacklist!
November 16th, 2005 at 9:58 amWhat a lame-o!
November 16th, 2005 at 10:06 amThese right wing “commentators” Drudge, Lame-baugh, O’Reilley (Oh-Really?), Gannon are boring me to tears with their pseudo-patriotism. I attended UCBerkeley in the early 70’s and we kept military recruiters off there. What San Francisco is doing is not new per se but the whole City taking a stand is great and I highly support their decision. Our city Council here in Sacramento recently passed a resolution calling for the removal of American troops from Iraq (7 to 1 in favor) with only further funding for non-military reconstruction. More cities need to make a stand on these issues. As far as his list, Hey, Billie, put me on, you weiner! Jacques Graber, Rancho Cordova CA.
And as far as lists? A “Businesses Who Support This Administration And All its Right Wing Hacks to Boycott List” should be created and we stop buying from those companies, pronto. And Terminate the Terminator in 06!

“this is Bill O’Reilly a common New York Irish street thugâ€
Really. I thought he was an L.A. Black Queer Jew street thug.
Thank you for the poignant and relevant data point (and expressed in such an ‘elegant’ manner).

November 16th, 2005 at 10:21 amIf O,reilly is such a patriot, how come none of his sons are in the military? Do you think that he will include their names on his list?? He is just another war supporter that supports war as long as it’s your kids and not his that are doing the dying!!
November 16th, 2005 at 11:31 amI used to get angry at him but now I just feel sorry for him. What an ass.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:31 amI think its a great thing Bill O’Reilly is publishing the name sof web sites like Media Matters. I see articles published about him that are rediculous (like the SF article and the recent article regard Weihl dancing).
November 16th, 2005 at 12:37 pmYeah, and I dont think your personal blog on Blogspot.com is going to get attention. Congratutions on getting hits from 2 friends and a rendom google referal.
No one hates America more
November 16th, 2005 at 12:45 pmthan “bitter bill” O’Lielly.
great comment Nikto. You are not only insightful, but also creative. (For those of you who have trouble with tone in text, that was sarcasm)
November 16th, 2005 at 12:51 pmI don’t give a shit if he did anything or not. I just like many of my friends want him off the air so we need to use anything we can. He’s a loser and needs to go.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:11 pmI will gladly let my name be put on that list. Just be sure to spell it right, Billy Boy…. Kara Bergeman, “anti-military” internet crowd, here and accounted for.

November 16th, 2005 at 2:14 pmDO SOMETHING – Deny Clear Channel’s license renewal!
Go to http://www.bethemedia.org to file an Informal Objection to Clear Channel’s radio station license renewal for KNEW-910AM – the station that broadcasts Michael Savage and Bill O’Reilly.
For convenience, I created some boilerplate ‘informal objections’ for people to send in to the FCC, specifically regarding Bill O’Reilly’s anti-American hate speech.
However, these need to be filed BEFORE DECEMBER 1, 2005.
Go to http://www.bethemedia.org now!
November 16th, 2005 at 2:20 pmPut me on the list, you irrelevant old gasbag!
November 16th, 2005 at 2:35 pmPut me on the list too! I voted against the USS Iowa memorial too, Bill!
Mark Pritchard
November 16th, 2005 at 2:36 pmhttp://www.toobeautiful.org
Good call Mr. Mathison. Send the FCC a bunch of boiler plate complaints and then when they hear the remarks they will laugh at you. You want the FCC to deny an gigantic corporation’s license renewal because one on air personality said something that offended you (It wasn’t even offensive).
November 16th, 2005 at 2:42 pmWhile your persistance is admirable, you have a snow ball’s chance in hell. Besides, i am willing to wager that you have no heard the clip, and if you have heard the clip, you are over reacting. Why to stand up for free speech, siliencing some one you disagree with. I am sure that ACLU card is burning in your pocket.
All I can say is why can’t conservatives design websites? or for that matter ‘do comedy?”
November 16th, 2005 at 2:43 pmAll: I have already gotten email responses from several of the Fox News advertisers I wrote. They respond they are looking into it. Does this mean they will pull their advertising? I don’t know, but it does mean they are being made aware of the public’s discontent with the Fox News smear campaign against America.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:51 pmit means you got brushed off. Sorry.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:52 pmI sent Bill the following e-mail message:
Hi Bill,
Getting a little shrill, aren’t you? You’ve always been a muddle-headed, all-spin-all-the-time blowhard, which is shrill in its own way, but you are now getting officially shrill. An enemies list? Uh, Bill, it’s been done. Didn’t work out too good for the last guy–you remember Watergate, don’t you? Or the guy before that, back in the Red Scare, which is a lot like today’s Terror Scare, don’t you think? — maybe that’s why you came up with the list idea, huh? But it comes across as unseemly in a “free” society, you know? Sooner or later it’s just shrill.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:20 pmMichael Goldberg: Well, certainly, that’s what YOU hope it means. Go away kid, you’re bothering me.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:29 pmWhy don’t you include the full text of his comments where he first says this will be the scenerio if California secedes from the union. Selective editing is cute, but hardly effective on those with brains.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:40 pmI’m sorry Ringo if i bothered you. i am interjecting some reality. If you want Bill off the air, this is possibly the worst approach. Sending Boiler Plate emails never works. And telling an ad company about how offended you are will not work either (unless you are offended by something truly offensive like Bill Bennet’s commets or Sen Lott’s). Otherwise, trying to be offended by every little comment taken out of context or taken seriously though meant as a joke will only deligitimize your cause.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:46 pmThis is possibly why Fox has the ratings it does. People read on similar web sites how Fox is the devil, O’Rielly is hitler, and such. This causes them to watch. People expecting the worst get something that may be a right wing, but seems infinately better than it was described.
And Ringo, what I hope happens is that if something is said that is truly worth being offended over, that organizations such as this web site have not lost all credibilty when they report it.
#345: MG: I think if a Democrat-supporting media spokesperson had said what BO said, the Repubs would be on that person like stink on s**t, or worse. So, the Dems need to squash BO like the good-for-nothing bug that he is. Kerry and the Dems made the mistake of playing nice with the Repubs in the 2004 election. So, sorry to say, it’s payback time. Nice doesn’t fly with today’s Repubs and this “president.” Now’s the time to get mean and play dirty. The Repubs have proven in the last five years that dirty-pool is the only way to get things done. Gotta be the playground bully. I don’t like it, but if that’s the way Repubs want to play it, then they are simply going to have to get a big gulp of their own poison.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:59 pmLeave Bill alone, he is a great author and a champion for free speech. I hope he lets me make a movie inspired by his ALLEGED (arggg) perverted conversations.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:04 pmHas this guttersnipe O’Reilly ever been in military or serve in one?
November 16th, 2005 at 4:06 pmRingo, Both sides were nasty in the 2004 election. I wouldnt focus on the Repb and Dems as much as i would towards the PAX and 541 organizations. Both candidates were attacked mercilessly.
And yes, Charlie Rangle called Bush a Red Neck. Repb did try and stir that up, btu as seeing that it was not an offensive term, no one cared.
Also, Dems did offend me recently in the State of Maryland. People threw Oreo Cookies at Lt Gov Steele merely becaus he is a black Repb. I didnt hear much about this (even on Fox News). I garruntee if a bunch of Repb threw cookies at a Black Dem with any racial overtones there would be a lot of media coverage.
Gerry, O’Reilly was never in the Military; however he did serve as embedded journalist in South America during military action (faulkands?). I am sure you can find this online some where.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:17 pmIs O’Reilly Headed for a Meltdown?
I can’t explain my fascination. Maybe it’s like watching a car accident. Or an al Qaeda attack on San Francisco.

November 16th, 2005 at 4:20 pmGoldberg,
Randy Rhodes isn’t against free speech. She’s against someone who is encouraging Bin Laden and his imps of Satan to perform a 9/11 on another American city. A city built on diversity, intellect, history and innovation.
Please don’t suck up to that philosophy as an apologist for Al-Queda. All I can tell you is that you better pray that nothing bad happens to the people
November 16th, 2005 at 4:29 pmand the city of San Francisco.
what the old fart really cares about is that there are 351 comments on this entry and o’reilly- like limbaugh , hannity, coulter, and others- feeds off the recognition and controversy.
IF ONLY 351 PEOPLE WOULD WRITE EVERY O’REILLY ADVERTISER- NOT E-MAIL, WRITE- enclosing labels and lists of products made by competitors of o’reilly’s advertisers; as well as copies of letters sent to those competitors explaining their favor was due to not booking time with o’reilly… that would get some attention.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:38 pmI really really REALLY hope that O’Reilly’s serious about publishing names. Do you think I’d have to do something extra-liberally to get mine in bold? ‘Cause I’ll do what it takes; I’ll step up to the plate.
In all seriousness, though, while it is heinous and ridiculous and clearly McCarthy-esque, I’m not sure too many people really care who is opposing the war.
I grew up in a town that thrives on the space and defense industries, and when I visit I run into countless “W”-sticker-on-the-SUV types that are ready to get the hell out of Iraq, if only to focus on ‘Merica for a change.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:39 pmJumbo – I believe O’Reilly’s remarks were made as satire. He was simply pointing out that by taking the stance of opposing military recruitment in the SF Schools (a valuable sorce of man power for the military) DF has slapped the military in the face. Thus, who would SF call on to defend them if (and i hope never happens) there is a terrorist attack on the Colt Towers. The military. The sam military that was weakened by the SF vote.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:42 pmThe military defends us (whether the politcal cause is just is a debate, but the military follows orders), so why does SF try to hurt military recruiting? By having less enrollment, there are logically less soldiers to defend us. Correct?
Ms. Rhodes is definately not against free speech. Without it i dont know who she could get by.
Ohhh! I want on the list! O’Reilly is a blowhard most of the time tho at other times, he makes some comments that are on the mark.
Anyways, I have no problem with San Fran’s decision since military recruiters are hardly the most honest or caring individuals. They do have to meet marks to get paid folks.
Did I mention that Im enlisting soon? The recruiter promised me the DI would bring milk and cookies to my bed every night! :)
November 16th, 2005 at 4:59 pmChris, what are you trying to say? Military recruiters have Quotas or they dont get paid? Do you have any evidence of this? If so I would like to see it.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:09 pmAre you also saying the Military Recruiters lie? Also, i would like to see evidence of this. Perhaps a CNN article. I dont know where you levy these statements from. The military recruiters are there to get people into the army. The army teaches high school graduates skills and pays for college for some people. please do not demonize their tactics. I do not see how the recruiters are being bullies.
#349: Dems through Oreo cookies at a black Repub? I find that difficult to believe, or impossible actually. Are you sure that wasn’t the KKK? Or was it Repubs masquerading as Dems to make Dems look bad? Don’t buy it. No matter who did, however, it’s horribly offensive.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:37 pmChris, what are you trying to say? Military recruiters have Quotas or they dont get paid? Do you have any evidence of this? If so I would like to see it.
Are you also saying the Military Recruiters lie? Also, i would like to see evidence of this. Perhaps a CNN article.

thank you Mr. Samsa. It appears that, yes, there have been some Recruiter Misrepresentations. And for this the army should be ashamed. But they are trying to correct it (Complaints of aggressive recruiting tactics prompt Army review http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/ html/ nationworld/ 2002271731_recruit12.html). However, entering the army is still a voluntary activity and the contract is plain and clear. Before signing it, a recruit should discuss the issues with the recriuter.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:12 pmHowever, entering the army is still a voluntary activity and the contract is plain and clear.
Comment by Michael Goldberg — November 16, 2005 @ 6:12 pm
I absolutely agree… and I am happy to see that the Army finally addressed the issue. However, it is very difficult to say that joining the military still “is a voluntary activity” when people are not given enough information to make a decision. A decision made on false and/or misleading premises is not really voluntary. Deception is a more appropriate description. Who reads the fine print? Certainly not a high school kid.
Before signing it, a recruit should discuss the issues with the recriuter.
Comment by Michael Goldberg — November 16, 2005 @ 6:12 pm
That is the reason recruiters target low-income youngsters, and high school kids: they are less likely to ask questions and challenge the recruiters on what they say. These groups are –usually– less informed. Do you remember how much you thought you knew back in high school?
November 16th, 2005 at 6:29 pmOK, I just listened to O’Reilly’s comments. Clearly the guy is not serious about inviting an attack on San Francisco, but rather ineptly pointing out the benefits of the military to inhabitants of San Francisco.
This statement — “Last Tuesday, Bill O’Reilly encouraged terrorists to target San Francisco because he was upset that the city voted to ban military recruiters from high-school and college campuses” — is false and probably intentionally misleading.
Intentional mistatement and sophistry seems the main strategy of progressives these days.

CACCIOPPOLI CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE FIRING AND ARREST OF BILL O’REILLY
Talk Radio Host Recently Invited al-Qaeda to Attack an American City
FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – Arizona Democratic Congressional Candidate Mike
Caccioppoli today called for the immediate firing and arrest of Fox News
host Bill O’Reilly. O’Reilly, talking about San Francisco, said on the
November 8th broadcast of his nationally-syndicated radio show that “if
al-Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything
about it. We’re going to say, look, every other place in America is off
limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go
ahead.”
Caccioppoli reacts to O’Reilly, saying, “Bill O’Reilly went too far when he
called for the destruction of the Coit Tower in San Francisco. What he did
was incite and promote a terrorist attack on American soil, which is a crime
that needs to be punished. If something bad happens to San Francisco, Bill
O’Reilly needs to held personally accountable. It is this kind of ‘hate’
talk, like we hear from Osama bin Laden and Bill O’Reilly, that is creating
more and more terrorism. O’Reilly needs to be fired by Fox immediately and
arrested at once. This is not free speech, but rather a direct threat to a
great American city and a threat that endangers the welfare of its
citizens.”
# # #
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Mike Caccioppoli is running for the United States House of Representatives
in Arizona’s Congressional District 1. Mike has a background in talk radio
and has worked for numerous prestigious media outlets, including WABC in New
York City. Mike, 34, resides in Flagstaff, Arizona, and is currently
dedicating all of his time to his race for Congress.

November 16th, 2005 at 8:00 pmCaccioppoli and Ringo, consider the case of Mike Hodges of Air America Radio who said “I think they should be responded to, the way Hunter responded to Peggy Noonan’s little boy here… uh just beat the crap out of them. If you can do it with the pen, fine. If you need to do it with the sword, that’s ok, too.”
If you are to be consistent, something progressives often have difficulty accomplishing, then you must call for the arrest and imprisonment of Hodges [not you Ringo], which of course would be absurd.
Moreover, while this Think Progress article complains of McCarthyism by O’Reilly, the reaction of progressives is much worse. This comment board contains serious calls for coercive government force to be used to censor speech. Try visiting an anti-war rally in San Francisco, where it is routine to advocate the violent overthrow of the US government. Surely, an ironic statement by a talk show host doesn’t sink as low as direct and serious calls for political violence. Yet we have no calls from progressive to censor that kind of speech.
While I’m at it, liberals use the term ‘McCarthyism’ far too easily. Non-coercive criticism isn’t McCarthyism, using the force of the government to silence critics is McCarthyism. So it seems that O’Reily’s list is an example of free speech, while Caccioppoli’s press release might have made even McCarthy blush with embarrassment.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:16 pmYea put me on that list you fake irishmen. Ill bitch slap you harder than the IRA because republicans these days are pathetic. Go back to the catholic church to learn morals (excusing those priests).
November 16th, 2005 at 8:44 pmHe is just a loudmouth that needs to be off the air however we see fit and my friends agree. Then maybe we can get a liberal voice like Franken out there more.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:46 pmIt occurs to me that my late mother was passing ‘Joe [McCarthy] Must Go’ literature in our Wisconsin neighborhood when Bill O’Reilly and I were still in diapers. Therefore, even though my site covers news from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, I think I deserve to be on the list.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:56 pmI never pay any attention to Dick O’Reilly, he is as worrisom as a cloudy day. Remember his call to boycot
November 16th, 2005 at 9:04 pmFrance, and his threat to distroy Canada’s economy in the same way. He just has to stamp his feet, hold his breath for attention.
Just keep up your vile commentary – you and that religious quack Pat Robertson. You two are the best weapons the progressive people in this country have. To paraphrase Mr. Kruschev years ago “You will bury yourselves.” And not a moment too soon. Take that phony administration that you so love with you.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:05 pmPLEASE GOD… How do I get on that lousy pri**s enemies list…So want to be on it.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:00 pm“You ask who I am? I am Legion.”
Hey Rosco…I speak russian among other langs. Khrushchev said …”We will see you buried.” Old Russian cliche which means and meant by him that the Commie system will be at the funeral (will outlive) the Capitalist system… We saw him buried. Sorry for the off topic post.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:04 pm“You ask who I am? I am Legion.”
I just tuned in but who is this moron Mike Goldberg? And since when is saying, “You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead,” “satire”? Asshole.
November 17th, 2005 at 2:39 amyou silly billy are a weeny. you take that list and put it where the sun don’t shine. oh, well, your enemies list will be so big, it won’t fit. but then again you are such a BIG ahole maybe it will. now i am putting you on my enemies list. you are in good company with the beltway crooks.
November 17th, 2005 at 2:41 amScrew HIS comments… Isn’t the larger question, “Why isn’t it OK for the military to recruit in SanFran?”
I say let ‘em. San Fran needs military protection, doesn’t it?

November 17th, 2005 at 10:13 amI’d love to be included on his ‘unamerican’ list. It’s actually worth starting a blog to get included. Any indication that i could wear around my neck that shows immediately that I am nothing like Bill is worth the price of admission.
November 17th, 2005 at 10:23 amThis guy reminds me of the schoolyard bully that everyone has had enough of.There finally comes a day when no one is going to take his crap anymore and decides to beat the bejesus out of his empty skull. When said bully sees this coming his reaction is to run home to mommy and daddy and complain that everyone is picking on him.At this point mommy and daddy have had quite enough of the little bastards shit too and decide to beat the bejesus out his empty skull and saves the kids in the schoolyard from having to do it.Oh and by the way, while you can’t email dildo through his website, you can complain about the dildo at foxviewerservices.com.This is where i lodged my rant against this malignancy.

November 17th, 2005 at 11:02 amI can’t all these people who hate good old Bill watch his show. They make it the best rated show on TV.
Bill knows that, dunb like e “FOX”
November 17th, 2005 at 11:29 amMan, look at the vitriol, hate, and the immature debasement being spewed out on this board. In all objectivity, is it any wonder why mainstream America can’t stand the radical left. 383 comments that sound like highschoolers blogging about their evil PE teacher. It used to be, when words meant something, that terms like “hate” and “moron” were used in extreme cases, to say nothing of the profanity that is every other word of these posts. Guess what? Mainstream America doesn’t like this. And the fact that the White House, Congress, and the majority of the Governerships are under Republican control reflect that.
I’m sure this post will be met by more of the same, but please, consider what you’re saying. Stop villifying people. Most people aren’t haters, despite what this board says.
November 17th, 2005 at 12:40 pmI would think that everyone who is blasting O’Reilly would want his name posted on the list.
I think O’Reilly is right. Citizenship is not just a bunch of privileges that you get without responsibilities.
It really is ironic, that if Islam ever became a dominant force in this country, SF would be the first target.
Christians may not approve of gay lifestyles, but they don’t kill you as happens in the Middle East if your gay.
I don’t understand this invective directed at Christians when it is the Muslims who truly want you dead.
November 17th, 2005 at 1:14 pm“I suggest we start an “Enemies of Freedom†or perhaps an “Enemies of Democracy†list.”
Yeah, and you can top it off with Bush followed by Cheney, Rice, Rumsfield and the rest of them.
November 17th, 2005 at 1:29 pmWho Says Dems Don’t Have a Plan?
November 17, 2005
——————————————————————————–
by Lee Duigon
——————————————————————————–
Contrary to what you’ve been hearing lately, the Democratic Party really does have a long-term plan for America.
Party leaders won’t talk about it, or lay it out as an electoral platform. They wouldn’t dare. This plan won’t be carried out until they control Congress and the White House.
But they do have a plan. And to find out what it is, we must turn to other sources: lawsuits filed, and court rulings handed down; proposed legislation (much of it repeatedly voted down); newspaper and magazine editorials, radio and TV commentary, Internet blogs; and, of course, lobbying campaigns by such left-wing stalwarts as teachers’ unions, Planned Parenthood, etc.
In advance, I extend sympathy to those many Democrats who have not signed on to this agenda and would stop it if they could. As a New Jersey Republican, I know what it’s like to have leaders who refuse to listen to you. These Democrats have lost control of their party–and through no fault of their own.
Here is the Democratic Party’s agenda for America.
1. Restrict Free Speech. We’ve seen the beginnings of this in California, where Democrat legislators last year enacted a hate speech law which gives a virtual “license to kill” to any atheist or gay activist who takes offense at anything he might hear or read. Hate speech laws make debate impossible. If you can’t defend marriage without committing a hate crime, where’s the debate?
Then there’s the so-called “Fairness Doctrine,” a not-so-subtle attempt to silence the New Media: talk radio, Christian radio, the Internet, etc. By forcing conservative media to give free air time or column space to liberals, a Democrat Congress can render those media unprofitable. And you can bet your house that the Fairness Doctrine will never be used to force The Nation to run editorials by David Limbaugh.
Where liberals already rule–on college campuses–”speech codes” have been used to intimidate and silence conservative students and faculty. This is liberalism in action.
2. Undermine Our Republican Form of Government, as Guaranteed to Us by Article IV, Sec. 4, of the Constitution. By packing the federal bench and the Supreme Court with left-wing ideologues, and by referring to the courts all questions of public policy, the Democrat agenda becomes election-proof. As long as the courts set policy, it won’t matter whom we elect to our legislatures, and referenda will be an exercise in futility. The judicial branch of government will become an absolute oligarchy, lording it over the executive and legislative branches, and the people.
3. Abolish the Family. The courts–as they have already done in Massachusetts–will rule unconstitutional all popular and legislative efforts to ban homosexual “marriage.” Polygamy and polyamory will be “legalized” by the courts, too.
Abortion on demand will be enshrined forever as a legal right. But long-established rights to private property, and parental control over what their children are to be taught about sexual morality, have already been dealt body-blows by the Supreme Court and the 9th Circuit Court.
4. Destroy the Influence of Christianity. The ACLU, Americans United, and People For the American Way (has anybody ever figured out what “American way” they’re thinking of?) file lawsuits to remove even the smallest, most innocuous public expressions of Christian belief. They don’t do this for the exercise. Their aim is to drive Christianity out of the public square altogether–because the Christian faith is all that stands between them and their dream of a state-supervised perpetual Saturnalia.
There you have it: the reason why Democrats must never be allowed to rule America. If you’re a Democrat and you don’t like it, you’d better start winning some primary elections.
November 17th, 2005 at 2:22 pmAfter O’Reilly invited al Qaeda to attack the US again he responded to criticism of his statement by saying that he stood by his words. Then on his show November 14 O’Reilly defended his remarks, but he left out the part where he gave al Qaeda the all clear, “If Al Qaeda comes in here [San Francisco] and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything about it.†and the part where he spoke directly to al Qaeda inviting them to attack us, “You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead.†Now (perhaps as a result of speaking to his or Fox’s attorney’s) he has changed his tune, and claims that his statement was satire. But he goes farther to say that he will post the names of anyone who was critical of his original call for al Qaeda to attack San Francisco and in those posts to his website he will claim that his critics are actually anti-military. So O’Reilly is going to defame as anti-US-military all Americans who were disgusted by his invitation to al Qaeda to attack our country again. If he does this, O’Reilly will be opening himself up to million dollar libel suits from any private citizen (non-public figures) whom O’Reilly defames on his site. No one is as supportive of the men and women serving our nation in uniform as I am despite my disagreements with Bush’s policy decisions. If O’Reilly includes my name or website in his defaming posts, I will certainly sue him for any damage done to my reputation as a result of his ridiculous attempts at vengeance against American’s opposed to inviting terrorism. O’Reilly first invites terrorists to attack the US, and now he threatens to unjustly defame anyone critical of his reckless actions. Unbelievable! If he follows through with this stupid and illegal idea, I hope he is sued into bankrupcy!
November 17th, 2005 at 3:42 pmJohn, you wrote, “It used to be, when words meant something, that terms like “hate†and “moron†were used in extreme cases, to say nothing of the profanity that is every other word of these posts. Guess what? Mainstream America doesn’t like this. And the fact that the White House, Congress, and the majority of the Governorships are under Republican control reflect that.” I agree with you that we should be able to debate without debasement, but I might remind you that it was Vice President Cheney who acting as President of the Senate on the Senate floor when a Senator mentioned his financial ties to Halliburton and their no-bid contracts responded, “Go F**** Yourself!” and he later said he was proud that he had said it, it made him feel better and he had no plans or desire to apologize for saying it. We’ve all seen the pictures of President Bush flipping the bird. I have read (but not posted) to a number of pro-Bush forums on the Internet and found them to be far far more filthy in their language and epithets hurled at anyone they disagreed with. I think you are looking at the Republican Party with rose-colored glasses, and fail to see just how much more rude many of them can be and how less willing they are to debate points that they disagree with.
Peace.
November 17th, 2005 at 3:53 pmJohn #384,
This isn’t “politics as usual”. The country is being bankrupted, America’s sons and daughters are being sacrificed for nefarious and diabolic reasons, and the backbone of this nation- the working middle class- is being systematically dismantled and the wealth transferred to the already wealthy! you can post your go along to get along crap all you want, but it’s time for a new American revolution. Maybe you’re all cozy and comfy with being ripped off by right wing scumbags, but i’m not. I’m an intelligent human being who happens to believe his lying eyes, don’t you go trying to make me feel i don’t have a right to BITCH loudly! i despise right wing Bushites, want to see them brought to justice and I don’t care that you’re offended at how I voice my opinion and channel my vitriol!
November 18th, 2005 at 9:28 amFace it; most of these people never supported him so their views are partisan in nature. You can try all day long to talk others into believing it’s more then that but it’s not. People continually spew lies and propaganda without presenting any evidence hoping they will stick. Have you heard of innocent until proven guilty or do you not believe in that?
A good example is the loonies trying to censor Bill because they don’t want him on the air. These people have been trying to do this for years. Don’t tell me there is some noble reason behind it. Both parties do the same thing and are no better then each other from what I’ve seen.
I’m not a fan of the administration either but until you guys have some evidence stop using unfounded rumors. Too many use the excuse to bash as dissent. These terms are not equivalent. There are the gutter crowd types that bash and others that use honest dissent. People can either get out of Junior High and act like adults or continue their mean spirited bashing and stay there. If they chose the later you will continue to stay in the loony category. It’s that simple.
November 18th, 2005 at 12:45 pmPulllleeeeeeze include my name you obnoxious blowhard.
Here’s something you ought to understand hairlip.
November 18th, 2005 at 1:27 pm“Ditto” to all the comments which came before mine.
I am progressive and proud of it, and I am so appalled at the way Bill O’Reilly just lets his mouth run with no stops! And I was really sickened that he would single out San Francisco, which is a very beautiful city despite my not ever having been there, for a terrorist attack!
Why hasn’t he been arrested for making a terrorist threat?! I think he should be! His attitude and his snide comments against those who dare to oppose his views are the very antithesis of America.
To the progressives, keep on keeping on! We are being heard, whether the Conservatives like it or not!
November 18th, 2005 at 5:00 pmDon’t be proud if that’s what it’s about. I would suggest you expand your horizons and break out of your “progressive” blog “news” sites once in while and see that they too may not always reporting the truth. If you or anyone else wishes to go through life with only one, often inaccurate side of the story then that’s your choice. But don’t expect others to respect that or take it seriously. Granted there is a dumb person born every minute to provide the support…and guess what, some of them are progressives too.
November 19th, 2005 at 12:06 pmBill is right, you guys take comments out of context and next thing you know the NY Times is running with your blog lies. Bill never encouraged terrorists to attack Frisco. Frisco will attract terrorists on its own, no need for Bill.
November 19th, 2005 at 7:22 pmIf you think that loving your country enough to want to change the direction of the downward spiral that we are currently in, then sign me up Bill. I am your enemy.
I have a feeling that you’re gonna take up a whole lot of bandwith on your site with all of YOUR enemies.
November 21st, 2005 at 12:36 amAttack advertisers? While his ratings slip? I hope his agent gave him a well deserved bitchslap.
Anyway, where is the list? Shopping will be so much easier this season if I can have a vendor list to work with…

1. “Virtural license” sounds like the Shoot First laws. The Fairness Doctrine was dumped by Reagan, creating the Limbaugh New Media.
2. Wait, this sounds familiar…
3. Put it to a nationwide vote. Solve a lot of issues by deciding what things like “family” and “life” are. How’s that sound? Polygamy in America? Like they do in those bad Muslim countries? Yes, and you’re “private property” really referneces “corporate property”, doesn’t it? C’mon, fess up…
4. Yes. None of that crap belongs anywhere near any decisions concerning citizens of this country. It’s a big deal. That’s why they knew even 200 years ago to put it in. F’ing duh.
The greatest tragedy in mankind’s entire history may be the hijacking of morality by religion. – Arthur C. Clarke
But not “may be”.
November 21st, 2005 at 10:40 pmOMG, I don’t believe it!
I went on billoreilly.com just to check it out. I decided to see what kind of drivel gets posted on the message board there and found out you have to be a “Premium Member” to post or view messages there!
Who the hell actually PAYS for that crap!
November 22nd, 2005 at 11:14 pmWell you can’t post at all on Moore’s site because no debate is allowed there. He doesn’t want paying customers to be exposed to a different viewpoint.
There are paid members of Media Matters and Daily KOS. I have to ask the same question.
Different strokes for different moro..folks I guess.
:)
November 23rd, 2005 at 8:47 pmWhy is this article a surprise to anyone? Isn’t O’Reilly McCarthy reincarnated anyway?
November 28th, 2005 at 2:16 pm[...] After sites like Media Matters and ThinkProgress exposed his callous remarks about San Francisco, Bill O’Reilly said: I’m glad the smear sites made a big deal out of it. Now we can all know who was with the anti-military internet crowd. We’ll post the names of all who support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com. [...]
November 29th, 2005 at 5:16 pmThe only things that Media Matters and simular sites spread are one-sided opinionated views that often misrepresent the truth. It’s nice to see that the “progressives†lost yet another attempt to censor whom they oppose after reasonable people were able to see the facts.

December 28th, 2005 at 9:07 amI think Bill is great! fox news is the only real news agency of TV, the others well, they’re just new magazines. I think an enemies list is a good idea, I know a few to add to the list, deport them, send them to Russia or Libia or how about Iran, that would be a great place for all these “unhappy” with their government people. I’m sick of liberals and I hope we sink them. These Yellow belly useless 20 and 30 year olds sit at home watching tv smoking or shooting up and think they know something, think they are critics on the subject of politics and war, they’re mostly uneducated, dull, ugly poorly dressed people as you can tell by seeing them on TV, the want to distroy our country and they should be sent to another land, a land well a land they might enjoy more, like the before mentioned vacation spots. Hoorah!! for Fox News, Long live the GOP>

May 13th, 2006 at 5:41 am[...] But as “dangerous†as these “weapons in the culture wars†may seem to some, online outlets such as Media Matters and Think Progress have called O’Reilly out on lies, poor interviewing tactics, poor taste, and misinformation nearly countless times. With the exception of Al Franken, who shook his finger at the Fox News Channel host for claiming to have earned a Pulitzer when he earned a Peabody, who in a conventional setting has held this raging ideologue to any standards? Indeed, who holds Fox New Channel to any standards? We all know that this horrendously slanted news network carries bias under its weak claim of “We Report, You Decideâ€, but only by inspecting it critically ourselves. Occasionally the Channel receives an obvious attack from the likes of Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, but in the mainstream news, silence. [...]

August 31st, 2006 at 1:15 pm[...] Adding to the ongoing debacle that is Bill O’Reilly, he appeared on his show “The O’Reilly Factor” and claimed that his comments were a “satirical riff” on the city. Once again, ThinkProgress has posted his words from his show in which he claimed that the “guttersnipes” [liberal blogs] “made a big deal out of it.” Crooks and Liars has the video. BILL O’REILLY: Some far left internet smear sites have launched a campaign to get me fired over my point of view. I believe they do this on a daily basis. This time the theme is O’Reilly is encouraging terrorist attacks. Unbelievably stupid. Not unusual with these gutter snipes… I’m glad the smear sites made a big deal out of it.
