Last night, Bill O’Reilly referred to his comments approving of a terrorist attack on San Francisco as a “satirical riff.” We’re not sure President Bush would agree.
Recall the recently adopted UN Security Council Resolution 1624 — passed unanimously on Sept 14, 2005, with President Bush actually personally casting the vote for the United States. In his speech to fellow heads of state, Bush singled it out and said the United States “strongly supports the implementation of this resolution.”
Now re-read O’Reilly’s statement on November 8:
If you want to ban military recruiting [in public schools], fine. But I’m not going to give you another nickel of federal money. If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything about it. We’re going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead.
It sounds like O’Reilly has run afoul of at least the spirit of the UNSC resolution – and the wishes of his president. Here’s the specific text:
1. Calls upon all States to adopt such measures as may be necessary and appropriate and in accordance with their obligations under international law to:
(a) Prohibit by law incitement to commit a terrorist act or acts;
(b) Prevent such conduct;
(c) Deny safe haven to any persons with respect to whom there is credible and relevant information giving serious reasons for considering that they have been guilty of such conduct
WRITE FOX NEWS CHANNEL ADVERTISERS AND DEMAND THEY DISCONTINUE THEIR SUPPORT OF THIS ANTI-AMERICAN “NEWS†CHANNEL. A quick search for “Boycott Fox News Channel Advertisers†brings up several websites that contain contact information (email and snail mail) for these entities.
A sample letter below that I have used:
As you are no doubt aware, Bill O’Reilly of Fox News Channel recently called for a terrorist attack on the City of San Francisco because he did not agree with the voters’ decision to ban military recruiting on San Francisco high school campuses. Rather than be a gentleman and apologize for his remarks, Mr. O’Reilly instead decided to defend his anti-American speech and call for terrorism. Mr. O’Reilly has clearly developed amnesia regarding the affect September 11 had on our country and the American people. Your continued support of Fox News Channel equals support of Bill O’Reilly. As an American citizen of this great country, I ask that you withdraw your support from Fox News Channel. Show Americans that you care for us and our country by discontinuing advertising on Fox News Channel. There are hundreds of cable outlets in which to spend your advertising dollar. The American people deserve better. Advertise elsewhere, and NOT on Fox News Channel. Thank you for your anticipated support in this regard.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:24 pmBetter yet…call your cable company and tell them to block FNC for your residence. If enough people ask their cable companies to block it they will begin to question whether they want to pay to keep it part of their lineup.
As far as O’Really goes…I’ve long since gotten past any outrage at his comments. He’s just a buffoon.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:30 pmI’ll bet Muslims laugh at BO’s hysteria.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:31 pmWouldn’t this also apply to you-know-who and his infamous remark, “Bring ‘em on”?
November 15th, 2005 at 3:41 pmSo it’s time to deny safe haven for B.O. …
November 15th, 2005 at 3:42 pmWhile you’re at it, ask Fox why they employ terrorist arms dealer Ollie North.

I’d sure like to know why the Department of Homeland Security hasn’t arrested Bill. If those weren’t the words of a terrorist, I don’t know what are.
Unless, that is, the secret handshake covers only the Muslim Taliban Terrorists, and not the Amerikan Taliban Terrorists.
November 15th, 2005 at 3:55 pm#4 – Voldemort?
November 15th, 2005 at 4:01 pmA criminal republican? Shock – simply shock!
Remember the republicans CREATED ALQUEDA – they’re terrorists themselves in terms of international norms!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:02 pmLet’s play Who’s the Most Unstable rightwing blowhard?
Is it:
A. Bill “Fallafel’s and Dildo’s” O’Reilly
B. Rush “Where’s My Smack Fix” Limbaugh
C. Bill “Double Down” Bennett
D. George “Jaw-jumpin Coke Jones” Bush
E. Bill “I’ve Been Slapped I Tell Ya” Frist
F. Fill in your own
My oh my, the right is a bloody mess these days.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:02 pm#11 – I’ve got to go with Bill O’Reilly on this one. He might not be the nuttiest, but he is the most unstable.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:06 pmas long as this mofo gets good ratings they won’t pull him off…
November 15th, 2005 at 4:08 pm#11 – you left off your list of unstable ReichWingNutWackJobs:
- Scooter “Squeal’n Like A Pig” Libby
- Dick “Hung Like A Whale” Cheney
- Donald “I KNOW Where They Are” Rumsfeld
- Colin “I’m Look’n Like A Fool” Powell
- Condi “Don’t My Shoes Look Good” Rice
- Queen Karl Rove (and his 300 pound boyfriend)
- Tom “Squashed Like A Bug” DeLay
Anyone who supports these fools are as unstable as everyone on your (and my extended) list.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:11 pmMcClellan would say, well, not much:
“I can’t comment on an ongoing controversy.”
November 15th, 2005 at 4:16 pmHey Bill, the State of California is coming to get your sore ass!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:17 pmOh, don’t get all huffy without thinking about the long-term benefit of a ridiculous neocon spokesman. Publicize his rants and keep him around as a high-profile example of neocon folly. It’s kind of like, don’t impeach Bush because we need him around as exhibit A to bury the neocon dream. Deep.
And if El Qaeda does blow up the Coit tower, I’m sure we will invade somewhere and lose more civil liberties everywhere, even though OReilly might object.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:17 pmHay, Jesus, is that 300 pounder the big ugly one I saw walking behind Rove last week. They look a lot alike, both ugly, fat not much hair. Who is his buddy.? Wondered who that was, his wife maybe.?
November 15th, 2005 at 4:24 pm#13: Part of why B.O. is doing this stuff is that his ratings are sinking beneath the waves faster than New Orleans’ Ninth Ward.
The radio show is in the tank, getting blasted in most of the major markets. And he TV show lost about 40% of its viewers after the Andrea Mackris debacle, and is still down by half a point (2.2 versus 2.7) over where it was a year ago.
Like any bully, Bill figures that if the old tactics aren’t working anymore, you just need to do them bigger, faster, and harder, and they’ll probably work again. Shrill and obnoxious are his stock in trade. If the ratings are dropping, it’s an obvious sign that he’s not being shrill and obnoxious enough. Which means that the lower his ratings go, the more of this we can look forward to.
On the other hand, take comfort in the fact that fewer than three million Americans — about one percent of the population — listens to a damn thing this man has to say on any given day. To me, that’s a sign of hope.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:25 pmBoycott ALL foxs sponsers, and the scum will die. I guess we need a law for ‘Right wing milliant exstreameists’ now? what cha think billie????? As far as ‘anti-millitary’, he missed the point, it’s MILLIARY ABUSE…that is the point. GEE DUB, this is what YOU are guilty of.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:26 pmSorry, off topic. Sick of spending any time on this O’Lilie dribble, he’s been on more threads in the last month than our dreadful war. Not diserving any more of my time since I sent my note off to Fox to get rid of his ass and the rest of his kind.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:28 pm#19 – I’m not sure if that’s Karl’s Special Buddy or not.
But one thing is clear: If you read the Konservative Editorials in several places from last week, they are all up in arms about Queen Karl’s “after hours” activities. They explicitly state that it does NOT look good to have Queen Karl frequenting his favored gay bar with his boyfriend. I’m sure his boyfriend is 300 pounds, because that’s what one konservative editor wrote. :-)
November 15th, 2005 at 4:28 pm“Bill was only kidding,” Eric Rudulph.
“God hates fags and loves Bill O’reilly,” Rev. Ray Phelps.
November 15th, 2005 at 4:29 pmDoes anyone except for the usual wingnuts care about BO’s rants? He’s just Coulter in slacks – with a smaller member. But he will go like the rest of them…remember Dr. of Kenisiology Laura?
November 15th, 2005 at 4:30 pmRepublicanism = Sedition
November 15th, 2005 at 4:40 pmdeegahl,
Or is the other way around?
November 15th, 2005 at 4:41 pmdoes anyone know if his list has been published yet?
November 15th, 2005 at 4:52 pmWe’ve tried writing to our local cable provider to get rid of The 700 Club and Fox. No luck so far.
O’Lielly wouldn’t know a “satirical riff” if one came up to him and sh!t in his mouth. Look at what a jerk he was on Jon Stewart!
November 15th, 2005 at 4:58 pmYou may not be able to get rid of it for everybody, but I think they are required to put a block on it if you request it.
700 Club is not a station so that is a different animal
November 15th, 2005 at 5:01 pmif they are not going after chalabi(spelling), they will not go after o’riely…it’s a fringe benefit being part of the GOB (Good Ole Boys) Club…why do you thing the patriot act is being used to chase down tommy chong and child molestors (not that I favor child molestors, but I am partial to Chong) there is a double standard, has been for a while, and will continue until the people rise up as one and get the corporations and greed out of DC
November 15th, 2005 at 5:06 pm#11 and #16 – you left out Ann “Oh Sean, you’re so studly” Coulter.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:25 pmDear Dish TV, I wish to ‘pick and choose’ the programs I want. Since 90% you group together are just trying to SELL me something I DON’T WANT, let me choose. My reply was: I got a coupon for $1.00 off ’some’ movies. I bought the tv set, I pay electric,I pay for DISH, and they say..”This program is brought to you by…bullshit, it’s brought to me, by ME.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:27 pmNot to derail the conversation, but to update the Who’s the Most Unstable rightwing blowhard?, here’s where we’re at:
- George “Jaw-jumpin Coke Jones†Bush
- Bill “Fallafel’s and Dildo’s†O’Reilly
- Rush “Where’s My Smack Fix†Limbaugh
- Bill “Double Down†Bennett
- Bill “I’ve Been Slapped I Tell Ya†Frist
- Scooter “Squeal’n Like A Pig†Libby
- Dick “Hung Like A Whale†Cheney
- Donald “I KNOW Where They Are†Rumsfeld
- Colin “I’m Look’n Like A Fool†Powell
- Condi “Don’t My Shoes Look Good†Rice
- Queen Karl Rove (and his 300 pound boyfriend)
- Tom “Squashed Like A Bug†DeLay
- Ann “Oh Sean, you’re so studly†Coulter
- Jeff “Oh George! You’re un-cut!!!” Gannon
There must be more. For one, I don’t see Denny Hassert’s name on the list of unstable ReichWingNutWackJobs.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:33 pm#34 How about:
Paul “The War Can Pay For Itself” Wolfowitz
Sean “Studly” Hannity
Michael “Get Aids and Die” Savage
Just to add a few more for your consideration. I’m not even sure if Michael “My Real Last Name Is Weiner” Savage is even employed by anyone any more. I sure hope not, unless it involves scooping poop off the sidewalks (without any tools.)
November 15th, 2005 at 5:38 pmDoesn’t he look out of place? And the “stache” behind him. Oh and Bolton too. *giggle* Man do these three look GUILTY. They look like they just wandered in to the wrong party and brought beer while everyone else drinks Jouet. What a bunch of trailer trash.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:45 pmHow about Rep. Don “NO! I won’t give it back!” Young of Alaska?
November 15th, 2005 at 5:46 pm#37 Or even Ted “NO!” Stevens. Whew, talk about unhinged. I wish they kept it going on the Senate floor. If I were a Senator, i would have just kept goading him to see if he would keep jumping up and down screaming “NO!” and threatening to resign. It would have been funny.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:50 pmEmail Bill to join the enemies list today! Maybe he’ll even say your name on the Factor and plug your blog!
Come join the Bill O’reilly enemies list! Send Bill an email to join!
November 15th, 2005 at 5:50 pmOh boy, you losers sure are making much ado about nada. Is this all you’ve got? This kind of trash is going to make sure your people don’t get out of the gate come next election. Are you trying to lose?
November 15th, 2005 at 5:51 pmDid someone say something? No, okay good, move on.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:54 pmIRI you have already lost, you jusst don’t know it yet
November 15th, 2005 at 5:54 pm#40 Uh-oh. Smells like someone farted in here.
Is that all YOU’VE got? Clearly we haven’t done a good enough job of educating people like you. It’s very simple: Bill O’Reilly told San Francisco that if al Qaeda wanted to come blow up their memorial to the firefighters who saved their city during the fire of ‘06, that he wouldn’t do anything to stop them.
The President of the United States voted for a UN resolution that calls on all member states to make it a crime to say the kind of thing that O’Reilly said.
So we’re all wondering why it is that this Republican administration will do nothing to stop one of their own when he crosses the line and calls for mass killing of innocent Americans.
Was that such a difficult concept to follow? I’ll give you a moment to check your RNC handbook for a response. Or maybe I’ll just ignore you and go home.
November 15th, 2005 at 5:59 pmMizzIWrongY, you should ask your republican friends in Virginia and New Jersey that are sucking wind right now… Clearly you’re scared, as you should be – LOSER!
Only ohio and their ‘diebold magic’ that mysteriously ‘flipped’ the percentages of votes from polling data showed any republican victories. Without diebold, republicans would be the green party!
November 15th, 2005 at 5:59 pmWayne,
If that had been a liberal reporter or commentator, they’d have been putting an FBI investigation on his tail immediately. It’s just more republican hypocrisy, and criminal behaviors. The republican mob is just a nitwit band of petty crooks and sex offenders.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:00 pmIRI, are you trying to be an asswipe, or does it just come naturally?
Oops, sorry, Wayne got the right Alaskan–Ted Stevens was the “NO!” idiot.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:01 pm#45, Ryan (hey, it’s really you!),
If it had been a liberal reporter/commentator, I have no doubt that his conservative boss would have fired him. But because Rupert Murdoch loves O’Lielly (he makes money for Murdoch), RM won’t fire him for something he said on his radio show. It’s Westwood One that should be firing O’Lielly. Radio people have been fired for far less than this.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:09 pmThe “Who’s the Most Unstable rightwing blowhard?” Here’s where we’re at:
- George “Jaw-jumpin Coke Jones†Bush
- Bill “Fallafel’s and Dildo’s†O’Reilly
- Rush “Where’s My Smack Fix†Limbaugh
- Bill “Double Down†Bennett
- Bill “I’ve Been Slapped I Tell Ya†Frist
- Scooter “Squeal’n Like A Pig†Libby
- Dick “Hung Like A Whale†Cheney
- Donald “I KNOW Where They Are†Rumsfeld
- Colin “I’m Look’n Like A Fool†Powell
- Condi “Don’t My Shoes Look Good†Rice
- Queen Karl Rove (and his 300 pound boyfriend)
- Tom “Squashed Like A Bug†DeLay

- Rep. Don “NO! I won’t give it back!†Young
- Ted “NO!†Stevens
- Jack “Steals Indian Money” Abramhoff
- Barbara “I NEED Prince William!” Bush [the Twin]
The truth is hurting the ReichWingNutWackJobs.
Until Bill O is arrested for his remarks, until Bush and his horse judging cronies are driven from office, until the WackJobs on the MSM wake up and do something good, decent, and kind for humanity, We The People must keep the pressure on all fronts.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:09 pmDon’t forget John “Bleep the U.N.” Bolton, Rick “Bush Who?” Santorum, and Chuck “ES&S is what I do Best” Hagel.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:20 pm#49 I thought his official nickname was Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum. But yours is good, too.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:39 pmWayne,
Speaking of ‘man on dog’, here’s NED’s profile. If that isn’t an apt description for that poor sack of ugly crap, nothing is.
http://www.blogger.com/profile/6884770
Ewhhh – butt ugly doesn’t even begin to describe this poor little whacko.
November 15th, 2005 at 6:52 pmWhat would bush think of oreillys comments. He would love them.
November 15th, 2005 at 7:01 pm#51 I better not let Jane see that! I just won’t be able to keep her hands off of him!
So, he likes to “cavort”, eh? I’d say it’s probably more like “gallivanting” than “cavorting.”
November 15th, 2005 at 7:02 pm#48 It should be:
Sean “Why Do You Hate America” Hannity
Ann “Girls Can Have Adam’s Apples” Coulter
Also, add
Dennis “SNL the Unwatchable Years” Miller
November 15th, 2005 at 7:05 pmOkay, Wayne, Ryan, I saw that hard-drinking cavorter, and my hands are staying on the keyboard. I didn’t dare click on the “Full-Size” photo!
November 15th, 2005 at 7:16 pmTee hee! he broke international law that was supported by the chimp-in-chief! Think he will be hauled off to one of those “black” prisons in Europe, or maybe Gitmo, and be incommunicado in perpetuity? — his daring the terrorists to attack an American city is tantamount to support for their actions.
November 15th, 2005 at 7:57 pm#56 Exactly, Marie.
So how is it that WE’RE the ones supporting terrorists? I don’t understand these people. Do they think that we’re all stupid, that we can’t see through their ridiculous arguments?

LET FREEDOM KILL US. I dont care anymore.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:08 pmi just want out of …..n . america, is that too much to ask?
bla,
Would you stop with that ridiculous and incoherent spam. It’s really annoying.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:18 pm#51. So NED is a dude? I though it was some irrational right wing b!tch.
oh never mind, he is a b!itch.
November 15th, 2005 at 8:19 pmduhgop..
Yeah, seems that way. Although it is the internet, that might be her brother or ‘boyfriend’ – ewh. But you’re right, NED’s just a little bitchy huh?
November 15th, 2005 at 9:14 pm#40 …
So we’re all wondering why it is that this Republican administration will do nothing to stop one of their own when he crosses the line and calls for mass killing of innocent Americans.
Was that such a difficult concept to follow? I’ll give you a moment to check your RNC handbook for a response. Or maybe I’ll just ignore you and go home.
Comment by Wayne A. Schneide
——————————-
Uh, Wayne? Bill O. did not CALL for the mass killing of Americans. He said that IF the terrorists attack S.F., THEN the military should not help out. IF, THEN is an advanced concept; I know.
I agree. If S.F. boycotts the US military, then they are making their own bed.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:39 pmBush raps China over freedom, vows to promote democracy in Asia
By Ron Hutcheson
Knight Ridder Newspapers
KYOTO, Japan – President Bush brought his freedom agenda to Asia on Wednesday, taking a swipe at China while extolling Japan as an example of freedom’s power.
Setting the tone for a four-nation swing through the region, Bush told Asian leaders that freedom is on the march and cannot be stopped in their part of the world. He bluntly told Chinese leaders that economic freedom in China would inevitably break their hold on power.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:51 pmRJD,
When SF polticians call for the immediate withdrawal of every San Franciscan from the armed forces you can have your boycott, until then, keep those snakeoil selling recruiters away from our kids while we have a cowboy for a president. Capiche?
November 15th, 2005 at 9:53 pmI agree that “gallivanting” is probably the word. IIRC, “cavorting” requires felicitious company. It’s hard to cavort alone (unless, perhaps, the porn and the booze are both REALLY good).
And I can’t imagine any woman with two IQ points to rub together wanting to rub anything against NED, let alone engage in full-on cavorting — regardless of how good the porn and the booze are.
November 15th, 2005 at 9:59 pmOh, dear. That reminds me of a truly dreadful story, it seems that someone said that is is Wendies was is was using Worm, it was naturally high in protein of course.
And it tastes better than the mushy grey neck meat they didnt serve at Macdonalds.
The Kangaroo Tako from JAck in the Box is hard to beat after a long day FIb-ULatiNG thru the Sparkle box.
Having approached Mr. MehhlMann, Wendies has offered to set up donation boxes for Mr. O’Lielys Plexotomy Insertium.
Hey O’Really?

Transcript Iraq: The Way Forward, Session 3-A View from the Newsroom [Rush Transcript; Federal News Service, Inc.]
Speakers: George Packer
Author and staff writer, New Yorker
Rajiv Chandrasekaran
Public policy scholar, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars; author and former Baghdad bureau chief, Washington Post
Presider: Judy Woodruff
Broadcast journalist, former anchor, CNN
October 24, 2005
Council on Foreign Relations
Washington, DC
JUDY WOODRUFF: (In progress) — to be part of the conversation. I’m going to introduce them, and we are going to get right into our discussion.
I’m to tell — I’m to ask all of you — the council asked me to remind all of you to please turn off your cell phones, your BlackBerries or any other device that makes noise, before we get under way, because you will be ushered right out of the room if it goes off. Just kidding. Just kidding.
First of all, we are so pleased to have with us George Packer, who is well-known to all of us as a staff writer for The New Yorker magazine. He’s the author of two novels and three works of non-fiction, including, “Blood of the Liberals,” which won a Robert F. Kennedy Book Award. He is also the editor of the anthology, “The Fight Is For Democracy.” The reason he’s with us today is, of course, because of his book out this month, “The Assassins’ Gate.” It has been received with plaudits. I think Publishers Weekly called it THE Iraq book of the year, and maybe more than that.
So, George Packer, we’re delighted to have you with us.
GEORGE PACKER: Thank you.
WOODRUFF: Our other speaker is Rajiv Chandrasekaran, who is a Public Policy Scholar right now at the Woodrow Wilson International Center in Washington, a neighbor. Up until October of last year, up until exactly a year ago, he was The Washington Post’s bureau chief in Baghdad, where of course he was responsible for all of their coverage, and he oversaw a staff that included more than two dozen Iraqi staffers. He is currently on leave from the Post to write a book about the U.S. occupation of Iraq. The book is to be published next year. And he does plan to return to the Post at the end of the year. Before the war in Iraq, he was the Post’s Cairo bureau chief, and before that, he was their correspondent in Southeast Asia. And should know that leading up to the war in Iraq, he was in and out of Baghdad for the better part of a year, and in fact, spent most of the six months leading right up to the war in Baghdad covering the weapons inspection story, and others.
So I want to launch right into what we’re here to talk about, and start with you, George Packer. And that is, you know, we are — the focus of these discussions is to be the way forward. But I think we really can’t understand the way forward unless we have a much better hold — handle, if you will, on the decision-making that led up to Iraq.
You and I were just talking, before we walked in here, about the whole Valerie Plame investigation and how that is connected to the administration’s decision and the history of it. So I want to ask you, you know, you were one who has asked, how could the administration have ignored some of the advice it was getting. So talk about how you see that happening.
PACKER: You know, the deeper I dug into the history of the background of the war, as I was writing “The Assassins’ Gate,” the more I realized that the Iraq war was very much a part of our own domestic political wars. And if you sort of go back into the ’90s, in the aftermath of the Gulf War, and find that there was a small group of conservative policymakers, some of whom came out of the first Bush administration, others were not officials, they were intellectuals, they were writers, they kept alive an idea of American power at the end of the Cold War that became in a sense the Bush doctrine in 2002. It was 10 years in the making, in a way, with the fall of the Soviet empire.
And I go back to a document that came out of then-Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney’s department at the very end of the first Bush administration in which Paul Wolfowitz, Scooter Libby, Zalmay Khalilzad, Abram Shulsky, all of them deeply involved in the planning and the execution of the Iraq war, produced a document that said America should reign preeminent, should deter all rivals, and should pursue its interests and its values around the world as THE sole superpower. And it’s sort of a brief for unilateral and unapologetic exercise of American power, especially military power.
November 15th, 2005 at 10:48 pmRJD,
First of all SF didn’t ‘boycott the military’, they voted to keep the military out of schools. You’re such a whacko, clearly OLeilly and the other unpatriotic republican terrorists are your friends.
November 15th, 2005 at 11:17 pmIs it too late to add:
Arnold “Girlie Men” Schwarzenegger
Paul “No Ba’aths Allowed” Bremer
Harriet “Bush is the smartest person I know” Miers
Zell “Let’s Duel” Miller
Chris “It Makes Me Squirm” Matthews
Zell is a dem, ok, but I think he belongs….
November 15th, 2005 at 11:37 pmIf I were President and O’Reilly had said those things, I would have the Secret Service, FBI and CIA
agents surround Fox News and Rupert Murdoch’s hideout, put everyone on Fox’s payroll under arrest, close down the network and torture O’Reilly by sticking a hot scalding felafel up his butt and pour gallons of Southern Comfort down his throat. Also, put him in a cage with a couple of grizzly bears so they could do a Scooter Libby on him. Show no mercy toward the godless bastard.
Then, I’d appoint Cronkite as president of Fox News with Rather as VP. George Clooney and the Dixie Chicks would be the top stockholders in the company
November 15th, 2005 at 11:43 pmand the company would be open to us to buy the stocks.
As for the former Fox employees? Have you ever watched
the show called LOST?
You know, it’s not as if O’Reilly said something like..”Bring ‘em on!”. I mean, that would be really stupid, wouldn’t it?
November 16th, 2005 at 12:07 amScrew getting him fired, send him to The Hague! Haha
November 16th, 2005 at 1:23 amGet a sense of humor, like Al Gore!
http://www.algorelabs.com
November 16th, 2005 at 3:40 amhttp://www.algorelabs.com
Why do you liberals quote Jefferson on the so called seperation of “Church and State” and refuse to use his other opinions on how each school funded by the taxpayers were to include military classes so each generation would be ready to protect this country?!?
Your self serving, self centered, anti America agenda is clear to the average thinking human.
I sure hope we won’t have to count on you to protect us in time of need.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:14 amI gotta go with Bill O’Reilly’s larger point which is seemingly lost on the liberals who, in a fit of progressive “tolerance” and respect for free speech, are orchestrating a campaign to get a man fired for his voicing his personal opinion on his own show – that larger point being that it makes no sense for a city with a predominant majority of citizens who loathe the military and do not support the war on terror to expect help from the military if attacked by terrorists. This is a city who voted to ban military recruiting – I mean, if I voted to ban the police in my town, I sure as help wouldn’t expect them to show up if I were robbed.

No, that would show balls, fortitude, confidence and resolve – which, like intelligence and rational thought, are missing from most liberals…

REVELATION CHAPTER 18
——————————————————————————–
November 16th, 2005 at 12:04 pm1 ¶ And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 ¶ And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
DO SOMETHING – Deny Clear Channel’s license renewal!
Go to http://www.bethemedia.org to file an Informal Objection to Clear Channel’s radio station license renewal for KNEW-910AM – the station that broadcasts Michael Savage and Bill O’Reilly.
For convenience, I created some boilerplate ‘informal objections’ for people to send in to the FCC, specifically regarding Bill O’Reilly’s anti-American hate speech.
However, these need to be filed BEFORE DECEMBER 1, 2005.

November 16th, 2005 at 2:21 pmTo Sceptimus,
November 16th, 2005 at 5:35 pmYou know, this display of “balls” as you so quaintly put it, comes at no expense to this president. None of his friends are in Iraq. None of his children are there, either. However, there are lots and lots of people struggling for their lives. I think to taunt an enemy to “Bring ‘em on” does exactly that. They are BRINGING IT ON, and this war now seems endless and you’re proud of this bastard for saying it? Tell you what. Grab an rifle.. or better yet, don’t. Go to Iraq. Go to Fallujah and shout, “Bring ‘em on!” Show the world what balls you have. Me, I look for intelligence in a president. NOT cowboy bravura. I look for focus on REAL enemies, not oil-grabbing thievery. You’re a disgusting man, to think that there was anything admirable in a schoolyard taunt that could have cost thousands of lives. Please.. go to Iraq.. show the world your “balls”.
Jahan,
Thank GOD you’re not ever going to be in charge of winning a war, because you obviously don’t know a thing about it, you dishonest, despicable, nuvo-lib. You morons on the left seem to think the way to win a war against terrorists and terror states is to “reason” with them, and “talk” to them and try to “understand” their “feelings….” Meanwhile, those same terrorists are blowing up innocent civilian school teachers and students.
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Jahan, but you don’t win ANY war by being weaker and more emasculated than your enemy. You win wars by being the aggressor and you also win wars by psychologically demoralizing your enemy and emmboldening your own troops. The “taunts” as you put them was simply confidence on the part of the president that the united states and our military would ultimately prevail. Sorry your feelings got hurt when the president showed balls – I can understand you were probably confused, having just witnessed 8 years of Clinton’s ball-less administration.

November 18th, 2005 at 3:50 pmIs She Brain Dead?
December 7th, 2005 at 10:31 pmNovember 18, 2005
I just got through going over my Think Progress blog pipeline and found it clogged with Nancy Pelosi’s reaction over Bill O’Reilly’s “terrorist†statement of having San Francisco blown-up because the city refusal to allow army recuitment into the city’s schools. But sadly, I found Pelosi’s respond weak and stupid. On FOX’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto†Pelosi kept saying “This is — this is no joke. This is deadly serious. … Our city is a very patriotic city. In Northern California, we have more veterans per capita than any place in the country… I cannot even understand why somebody like you and others in your business are not disassociating yourself from this.†And she allowed that walking corpse, Cavuto, to debate with her?? Is Pelosi brain dead? THERE IS NO DEBATE WHEN SOME NUT CASE OUTTA FOX NEWS PUBLICLY CONDEMNS YOUR CITY INTO ASHES. O’Reilly demanded charred corpses to litter the streets of San Francisco and Pelosi is pleading for FOX and O’Reilly to “TAKE IT BACK?†Screw that to high heaven! Pelosi should have said: “FOX is a pro-terrorist network when it had sided with al-Qeada to have a city in America blown-up. FOX and it personnel should all be haul in and then transferred to Guantanamo Bay where their personally tailored orange jumpsuits are waiting for them.†Then Pelosi should have walk out of FOX studio. NO DEBATE!
