Just as Alito tries distance himself from his 1985 Justice Department application (where he wrote he “personally believed” that a woman’s right to choose is not protected in the Constitution), more evidence has emerged of his personal commitment to overturn Roe v. Wade. From the Boston Globe (11/16/05):
Albert Lauber, who served with Alito in the solicitor general’s office, said Alito had been instrumental in drafting arguments for why the court should uphold laws in Pennsylvania and Illinois, which imposed numerous restrictions on abortions.
Alito wasn’t just doing tasks asked of him by his boss. Alito wasn’t originally assigned to the case, but he still approached Lauber and asked to help argue for “overturning the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion [Roe v. Wade]“:
Sam said, ‘I know this is not in your area.’ He kind of volunteered to be helpful.
Alito wasn’t just an “advocate for the Reagan administration.” He sought out work that helped advance his personal agenda.
Bush playing to the religious right once again…welcome to the great American theocracy.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:35 amAnd as an aside, the Right should stop invoking Reagan’s name at every turn, if that’s the best we could muster, shame on us.
In a general way, I find it remarkable how so few letters to the editor there are from women who you would think would be white hot about their (and their daughters/grand daughters) reproductive freedom being completely taken away. Is the awareness and apathy in this country that bad?
November 16th, 2005 at 11:51 amThere are ways of finding out Alito’s views, unfortunately the only ones immoral enough to get the answers like what he is saying
November 16th, 2005 at 11:52 amJust what we need on the Supreme Court — a lying weasel. GWB’s legacy.
November 16th, 2005 at 12:01 pmSays volumes about his spouse. She must be the subserviant zombie at home like the rest of republican women. #2, about 1/3 of the population are sheeple, they cannot think for themselves or are affraid to try. So, they either don’t care, don’t want to be involved, or want someone else to tell them what to do.

November 16th, 2005 at 12:18 pmAbout 1/3 of the population are minors. The final 1/3 did vote in the last national election so they are trying to be involved but may be on the wrong side of the fence depending on your point-of-view.
I can’t believe Alito would actually step in and ASK FOR MORE WORK. Like he didn’t have enough to do already?
Seems he’ll go to any lengths to overturn Roe v. Wade.
How is he now going to back out and say these weren’t his personal views?
So obvious he’ll overturn Roe.

November 16th, 2005 at 12:24 pmThis proves nothing. He still hasn’t said he’ll overturn Roe.
November 16th, 2005 at 12:28 pm1 ¶ And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
November 16th, 2005 at 12:30 pm2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 ¶ And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
What is the goal here?
November 16th, 2005 at 12:34 pmNo abortions
Little or no social program support for the poor
No living wage
No Unions
Decreased access to quality healthcare for many
Corporate monopolies
Tough bankruptcy laws
Scaled back civil rights and privacy
Answer: a captive, kinder gentler slave labor
Even the Supremes weren’t sure exactly where the right was contained other than that the Constitution was broad enough that it could be found in it. They just didn’t know where.
Someone thinking Roe v. Wade was a lousy decision is hardly a novel thought. It was a lousy decision. But now it’s established and it will stay that way. Republicans don’t want it overturned because it would take away their rally cry. Democrats don’t want it overturned because it would take away their rally cry.
As for the Alito? Does it matter that he personally is against abortion? No, he’s a judge and his feelings (special though they might be) do not matter. But, for the sake of argument, what if he and the others voted to overturn? The issue would return to that states and nothing would change. In red state abortions are hard to come by anyway and the blue states would continue to allow the easier access.
November 16th, 2005 at 12:36 pmHelpful? He could be helpful and withdraw his nomination!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it should be overturned? Maybe women should not have the option of infanticide as a means of birth control? Maybe a life is more important that a lifestyle?
November 16th, 2005 at 12:37 pm#16 – Right. Because women are just having abortions to suit a “lifestyle.” Are you forgetting the, by now, well-known arguments about risk to mother’s health, rape, etc?

November 16th, 2005 at 12:50 pmIsn’t it interesting how the right keeps trying to insist that he won’t necessarily overturn Roe v. Wade? With Miers, they were upset that she wouldn’t overturn it. Therefore, they must KNOW that he will do it, but don’t want to admit it to the public, since a majority don’t want it to be overturned. They need him to get confirmed.

November 16th, 2005 at 12:57 pmThe interesting thing about pro-lifers is that they offer no alternative for babies that will be born but will be unable to be cared for due to various reasons. Yes, they detest abortions, but are they going to adopt, are their churches going to take responsibility, will they sponsor orphans. The social service system and foster homes are overwhelmed and underbudgeted in every state. Let the debate begin.

November 16th, 2005 at 2:57 pmYou do have to wonder what effect abortion has had on the number of democratic voters. If those babies, about 35 million or so had matured, most likely they would have turned into democrats. Maybe we should reconsider overturning Roe. Not!

Since most abortions are performed on the daughters of church leaders, we didn’t need those 35 million babies, they would just turn out to be more of the flock, aka sheeple.

Exactly where in the constitution do the founders say that you have the right to demand that I live my life according to your moral code?
Exactly where in the constitution do the founders say that government has the right to regulate abortion?
Wnd your point is….?????

November 16th, 2005 at 3:41 pm#16 – Right. Because women are just having abortions to suit a “lifestyle.†Are you forgetting the, by now, well-known arguments about risk to mother’s health, rape, etc?
Comment by Tonya
My personal opinion is the only reason an abortion should be considered by the woman or the doctor would be because the mother would die if the baby were not killed in the womb. I also believe that if a woman does choose her life over her unborn child’s life that it is an issue between her and God and left wing scum bags should not be allowed to make a political slogan out of it.
But, the fact remains that 99.9999% of abortions are done strictly for the convenience of the parents who don’t want to be parents and trashy girls too stupid to remember to use one of several methods of birth control.
You may not be old enough to understand or you may be too old and jaded to care but abortion is a horrible thing for all concerned. Roe vs. Wade was a horrible decision and the sooner it is thrown on the trash heap of ill-liberal history the better.

November 16th, 2005 at 4:09 pmwow NED outed today, and conveniently hasn’t posted a single dribble since everyone knows who is!!! November 16th, 2005 at 4:12 pm#49, as the recent poll issues indicate, not only are more people against your party and it’s stand on abortions than were during the roe v. wade controversy, but the republican party is currently about as popular as syphilis!
Oh, and 44% of republicans believe in Roe v. Wade, so you guys better be careful what you wish for!
November 16th, 2005 at 4:17 pmRyan,
You mean NED or . or IRI,
Agreed, but they came here and tried to spread lies, so regardless of their ignorance and delusions, they will be called out. Enough of a discussion gets through, on most threads despite the trolling, so I don’t mind questioning them when they do poke around. It seems there is some real truth in the theory that they come here because freedom of speech is unabated, whereas, with most of their right-wing posts, they can only read.

November 16th, 2005 at 4:19 pmChris,
NED just demonstrates why the republican party is the party of chickenhawks. He’s a coward, a fraud and a freak. Poor ugly little bastard. Talk about losing the genetic lottery! No wonder he’s against abortion, clearly rape and forced pregnancy is his only hope of reproduction! Something tells me that’s what drives all of these republican men into their extreme position!
November 16th, 2005 at 4:20 pmChris,
Exactly. How ironic that NED wasn’t permitted to post his hatred of Miers on most of his favorite republican websites, but he was permitted to do so here. You’d think that kind of reality check would wake up republicans, but no – they’re too retarded to let reality undermine their opinions, preconceptions and fantasies.

What you do does affect me and the notion that you can do anything you want as long as it doesn’t hurt me requires that I ask; “how do you know what hurts me and others when you don’t even know what hurts yourself?”

Abortion is in most cases cold blooded premeditated selfish murder. Murder is against the law. Women who kill their babies are scared for life as are the men who allow or help them to do it. Abortion makes your life and my life and the lives of our children worth less in the grand scheme of social things and therefore makes just going to the store for milk more dangerous.
By the way….Liberals are the greatest source of social manipulation in this country. You can’t do this, you can’t do that, go here or there, say this or say that….don’t give me this libertarian switcheroo nonsense. I can post your laws and regulations all day long that prove you people make life miserable for everybody.

“If we were a bunch of wandering chimps in the jungle I’d say you were right about what my neighbor does but we are not. You don’t really believe that anyway do you? Look up the word society and in the definition you’ll notice a certain interdependency that is suggested.
What you do does affect me and the notion that you can do anything you want as long as it doesn’t hurt me requires that I ask; “how do you know what hurts me and others when you don’t even know what hurts yourself?—
Okay, who made off with I-RIGHT-I. This is definitely a different person posting as I-R-I. We all know that I-R-I posts about being a homosexual a lot and I haven’t seen that in any of his latest posts, unless he has come out of the closet and realized how wrong he was.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:44 pm“Why? Because I don’t pull the kind of pranks and get as foul and vicious as you do. That’s why we win, that’s why we’re better than you.”MizzAlwaysWrongRepublicanLiar
1) you issued death threats, this means you lied in this statement – one of hundreds if not thousands of lies you’ve posted.
2) your party is the party of foul lies, smears and hate campaigns. there’s nothing more foul, immoral or evil in this country than a republican.
3) your party cheats, it doesn’t win. Cheating isn’t winning, it’s cheating. That makes YOU A LOSER.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:46 pmSpudge,
These aliases are all ‘plants’ from the free republican and their pentagon allies. They aren’t real people, or real americans. They’re just whacko retards with a hate filled political and economic agenda.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:47 pmOkay, who made off with I-RIGHT-I. This is definitely a different person posting as I-R-I. We all know that I-R-I posts about being a homosexual a lot and I haven’t seen that in any of his latest posts, unless he has come out of the closet and realized how wrong he was.

No, I post about you being Ryan’s AIDS infected lover.
….there, that better?
November 16th, 2005 at 4:49 pm#77
My point exactly. They need to have talking points for the people that are posting their talking points.
They need to have a list like this:
When posting as I-RIGHT-I, you must be a crazy as possible. Make threats against peoples lives.
When posting as Northeast Delima, use the words “Destroy”, “Crush” and “Burn” a lot.
When posting as mighty aphrodite, pretend that you have a husband.
Thes people need to get their sh!t straight if this campaign is going to work.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:51 pm#78
Just because you can read my post and figure out that the character known as I-RIGHT-I is supposed to talk about being gay, doesn’t make you him.

No skin off my nose. You’re not smart enough to understand most of what I write anyway. By the way…how do I know you are you?
November 16th, 2005 at 4:54 pmTo understand what MizzWrongY says, one would need hallucinogenics.
As for your fear of ‘aids’, well you know there are things called Condoms. If the fear of aids is all that’s keeping you from coming out of the closet and facing your OBVIOUS repressed homosexuality, go to the drugstore and buy some.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:57 pmSpudge,
This one isn’t very good is he? He seems kind of bored by his job today… They must have outsourced his job. Some poor schmoe in india is probably playing the role of I-RIGHT-I today…
November 16th, 2005 at 4:58 pmIRI would like to believe that he is needed here. Well, let me relieve you of your obligation.
You post here because you like to cause others stress and pain, if at all possible. You are too weak and cowardice to do this in person though. You are too scared to enlist so you try desperately to overcome that by being “pro-troop” to the point of obsession. You are very typical, very average, and painfully redundant. Your need to be in strangers’ business proves your lack of self worth.
You hate women. You want to control their bodies because you can’t control their minds. This might stem from not being very popular with girls in school. You obviously have a deep seated maternal issue. Most obsessions come from a dark place and I think you should explore. You are not a happy person. You hatred for women comes from you hatred of yourself but your ego won’t let you accept any blame for this. It’s all everyone else’s fault is your motto. This most likely started early in your youth. You had either an overbearing mother or conversely, an absentee mother. Either way, you were bound to be a religious zealot or a mass murderer.
The more you post, the more obvious your lack of self esteem. If I were you, and with my good parental figures that could never have happened, I would be ashamed of the what I have posted. Talking about young girls as if they are whores tells all of us what you are.
So, post away, but time is valuable these days and I wouldn’t waste it.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:59 pmRyan, I see his type all of the time. Fortunately for us all it is usually in jail from the other side of the glass.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:01 pmP&P,
Yeah, he’s really easy to see for everyone but himself. Poor pathetic soul…
November 16th, 2005 at 5:04 pmI wrote this on another thread, but it’s equally relevant here for our whacko schizophrenic.
Bibles are collections of fairy tales. They’re useful, just as grimm’s is useful to children. But they’re useful MYTHOLOGY. People who believe them literally are the same people who end up on an IV drip, being fed anti-psychotic medication while strapped down.
That would be you MizzWhacko!
November 16th, 2005 at 5:06 pmLike Wonder Woman’s jet – transparent. I’m sure he hates Dianna Prince too. That is just wrong. She was so cool. I hear her lifestyle allows her several yearly abortions. Those crazy actors.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:07 pmWow, get called in to one little meeting, and look what I miss, I have no idea where to begin…first off, Ryan & Spudge, thank you for entertaining this tool while I was away…now, IRI, some of your gems I missed:
“I can post your laws and regulations all day long that prove you people make life miserable for everybody.”
What has the Patriot Act done for us…we don’t know because it’s secret…WIC, Universal Healthcare, a respecitable Minimum Wage, these will make life HELL (for corporations, no the citizens that DEPEND on them)
“considering the age and IQ of most Leftists they have good reason. I on the other hand because of my wit and wisdom am welcomed everywhere ”
Considering the IQ of the president and his cronies…everyone with an IQ high enough to turn on a computer can be here, but in the WH, c’mon man…your wit & wisdom…now THAT is funny, you don’t bring wit, you bring hate and attacks to throw a tagent into an otherwise thoughtful, mostly-educated discussion
” I believe the answer is YOUR IDIOTS are more vicious than OUR IDIOTS and more numerous”
Acceptance is the first step…and you made a great stride by finally refering to “OUR IDIOTS” but they are by far more vicious, arn’t your idiots the same ones running this county into the ground and into a holy war for greed! how vicious is allowing and supporting torture (but finally tides are turning, and yes we are more numerous)
Oh yeah, another thing…about the chimps, doesn’t that go against your core belief of Idiotic Design
other than that, thanks again Ryan & Spudge

“No skin off my nose. You’re not smart enough to understand most of what I write anyway. By the way…how do I know you are you?”
I don’t think anybody here questions the fact that I am the one and only Spudge_Boy. You know why? My arguements and ideas don’t change with the wind the way you trolls do.
As far as the smart thing goes. You haven’t posted one thing that has even made me go “Hmmmmm.” You only post third grade talking points. You don’t even write your own stuff.
If you are going to try and pass yourself off as I-R-I, you need to put more racial slurs into your posts. The real I-R-I. Is a neo-nazi, KKK member. Get your character straight. You aren’t doing a good job.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:14 pmChristian Fascism in action;
“…These four women were locked in a room for three days by six men and two women. They were allegedly forced to pay a fine of 500 rupees each and forced to consume human excreta.
“They beat us with a bible and said we were lying and that we are practicing witchcraft. They also fined us for it and forced us to consume human excreta,†said Kapri, one of the victim.
According to police, the four women were tortured as they were accused of practicing sorcery and spreading disease in the village….”

November 16th, 2005 at 5:17 pmThe smartest people are the most humble. Remember Mr. I am smarter than anyone. You know that pride is sin? Didn’t you learn that in church? Jesus would never act like that and aren’t you supposed to pattern yourself after him?
November 16th, 2005 at 5:19 pmI suppose I might be considered guilty of quibbling but considering the power of words, I strongly object to referring to those who oppose abortion as “pro-life”.
These are the same people who support capital punishment and sending people to foreign countries to be slaughtered.
How can they possibly be called “pro-life” when they are obviously so willing to kill, even if they are delegating the actual murders.
A more exact term for these people would be “anti-life”.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:22 pmSo let me get this right. You think we’re stupid, but you go out of your way to come here and argue with us. That’s called a cognitive disonance.
See unlike you, I don’t want to post on whacko republican websites, nor do I even like to read or visit their mentally challenged sites or read their posts, because I don’t like keeping company with retarded fools. That’s why your presence here is so repulsive and offensive.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:22 pmJD,
The correct term is ‘pro police state’, because that’s what EVERY SINGLE republican policy is about.

Go back and read Ryan’s & Spudge’s previous posts, I am glad they are on my side (they are the ones who are probably more apprehensive seeing that I tend to fly off the handle from time to time and patience for either party, or any party is wanning) but to align yourself with NED and (pinhead) that is something you have to live with (probably, literally, either in the same bed with different pillows, or all of you live in the same demented, bruised, and disfigured head)
Progressive =/= Communist (hey IRI – that means not equal)
You blame public education, so what’s your excuse…you didn’t go to public school so you don’t know the realities that every day, blue collar american families face…my little brother only went to private school and my folks are kicking themselves in the ass for not giving him a real education
I am happy you do stop in, but not for your moral clarity, just to renew my vigor that what I am doing is right
November 16th, 2005 at 5:23 pmThis is an easy thing to see.
MizzWrong says she’s 35 (and single, any surprise?). That means that she was born before legalized abortion. My guess is that she fought with her mother, and realizes that if abortion HAD been legal, she would have been aborted. Most likely her mother was a ’slut’ and she doesn’t even know who her father is. This would explain the anxious masculinity, and the general hatred of women.
No wonder she hates the APA and psychiatrists, she’s a whacko who’s ALL MESSED UP!
November 16th, 2005 at 5:26 pmAs my folks would say,
Abortion should be legal to the age of 18
November 16th, 2005 at 5:29 pmChris,
I can understand how you might feel that way, but unfortunately back room abortions of teenagers used to be a leading cause of death among teenage girls before roe v wade. That’s a well intentioned, but misguided approach…

November 16th, 2005 at 5:45 pmIt is not up to men but, up to (us) women to decide the right to choose what will be done to our bodies and what will not. Pray we will get a liberal in the next few years on the court who will defend women’s rights.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:47 pmWhat’s your point MizzWrong?
I said it before, Condoms are a girl’s best friend, you should go buy some.
And certain viruses can be contracted from breathing, eating, kissing or any number of other sources. What’s your point again?
Eating beef causes cancer, mad cow disease, heart disease, etc., are you going to give that up?
You’re such a retarded and selective relative moralist moron. Face it, the reason you’re a virgin is that you’re butt ugly, and no one will have you. All of this hate sex thing is just there to cover up your pain for being a failed human being..

November 16th, 2005 at 5:56 pmGo get your own beer and stick it you know where.
MizzWrong,
Perhaps so, but I’d rather be a pie through than a turd thrower – which is what you are.
And besides, I always bring the thread back online eventually. We both know most people only read the beginning and ending of a thread, that’s why you lurk on old threads and post your crap…
But I see you little turd hurler. Like most of your pathological and psychotic friends, you’re beyond transparent, you’re really invisible. And that’s the part you hate the most.
The reason you and all republican men hate abortion, is that you feel a compulsive need to control women to overcome your own inadequacies as a man. It’s really an indictment of your own insecurities and failures, and nothing more.
It just shows you’re weak, stupid and a loser…
November 16th, 2005 at 6:00 pmIRI, you are playing games and trying to bait individuals here while our good men and women die in Iraq. You seem so hurt, tell momma what hurts.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:02 pmP&P,
He’s 35, is still single, and is either a closeted gay man, a pedophile (or perhaps a little of both). In otherwords, he’s a psychotic mess who’s one bad day away from a life of serial killing (assuming he hasn’t already killed).
He’s in houston, and I bet if someone looked, they’d find there were a lot dead hookers (probably young boys) over the last few years. It fits the ‘ripper’s profile.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:05 pmIRI: Republicans don’t RULE the world, Republicans RUIN the world. Surely, that’s what you meant to say. Back on the meds, dude. You’re frothing at the mouth again.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:11 pmRepublicans can’t even get a free trade for the americas. Republicans can’t disarm Iran or North Korea.
Republicans barely rule their oppressed wives publically (let alone privately).

November 16th, 2005 at 7:14 pmIRI: Please name one thing this administration has done for “our boys.” One thing. And then we’ll all shoot back with the truth about this administration doesn’t give a flying-f**k about “our boys.” How dare you defend Bush and his thugs who only use these young men and women as war fodder. Do yourself a little reading up on just how much Bush has done for “our boys” and our veterans. When you see how he has literally given “our boys” and veterans the finger, then you will retrace every word you’ve ever typed here. Know the truth and quit selling the lies that you have all too willingly swallowed whole.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:20 pmIRI: I am deeply offended how you right-wing a-holes always pull that crap about how you’re the only ones who support “our boys.” Oh really? Tell us how you personally have supported “our boys” other than typing your BS crap here? Have you donated for them to have the right gear to wear into combat? Have you sent them food-stuffs? Are you writing them in order to stave off the abject depression these young men and women fall into? What have YOU done short of put some BS bumpersticker on your car? I’ll bet you’ve done nothing for them. You’re nothing but a blowhard a-hole and you need to either do something personally for “our boys” or you need to shut your pie-hole now.

Everything out of its keyboard is one just stereotypical hate speech or another… Nothing about this whacko is original, just like every other republican retard…
And MizzWrong, looks like you picked the wrong religion again. Brain scans show that hindu/buddhist practices of meditation improves our brain density and makes us more ‘perceptive’ and smarter. Clearly something you could use a dose of!

November 16th, 2005 at 9:55 pmThe pieces are falling into place? Just like Iraq where 160k troops are supposed to subdue 26 million?
November 16th, 2005 at 10:01 pmBetter rework that math because there are many more decent people in America than you think, try 64% of the population. I’ll take those odds. Start something.
If men could get pregnant, the right to a safe and legal abortion would not only be written into the Constitution, the church would also have it as a sacrement.
Of course the Radical Right (which is neither) in the US is just as misogynistic as the Taliban (whom the Republicans formerly supported), so its no surprise that they want to force their (one true) religion upon everyone else.

November 17th, 2005 at 3:49 am“There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years. And that may happen sooner if he can obtain access to enriched uranium from foreign sources — something that is not that difficult in the current world. We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction.
When Saddam Hussein obtains nuclear capabilities, the constraints he feels will diminish dramatically, and the risk to America’s homeland, as well as to America’s allies, will increase even more dramatically. Our existing policies to contain or counter Saddam will become irrelevant.â€

Please defend how this administration has cut veterans’ benefits. You don’t answer these questions because this administration’s actions towards “our boys” and veterans are disgraceful. This administration does what every other administration does, use the military as it sees fit. Clinton for example used it as a social experiment putting fags and women in positions they were not wanted and would cause strife and harm. Cutting funding and their balls every chance he got. Whatever Bush has done he has earned the respect and love of our men at arms as you’d see if the assholes who run the media would interview them.
What difference does it make what I do as long as I’m not doing something that hurts their cause? ….like you…cocksucker. But lets put it this way, I support them in more ways than I’ll tell a loser like you. I love them and pay attention to them because I appreciate their service and sacrifice.
Leftist bastards like you only appreciate the body bags you try and trot out on the evening news. That’s why we call you the Filthy Left. That’s why we’re better than you and that’s why we win.
November 17th, 2005 at 4:53 pmIRI: No you do not support our troops. That little rant of yours proves it. And what’s with all the “fag” talk? Got a little secret, soldier? And, no, you’re not winning. I suspect that’s why all you can do is be a right-wing windbag, like your dear friend MA. Go blow smoke up someone else’s ass. You’re boring me.
November 17th, 2005 at 5:26 pmMA: I told you IRI wasn’t doing anything for “our boys.” There was no impatience involved in waiting for the answer I knew I’d get. Since you’re so pro-troops, you might want to reconsider your alliance with this dude, since he clearly doesn’t give a flying F about them.
November 17th, 2005 at 5:32 pmYou know what they think of the troops. I didn’t see their indignation about the slam the admin gave the vets on this last veteran’s day. If you love and listen to the troops, then you should be quite pissed that the veterans, for the first time in 55 years, during what the admin calls a “war”, were NOT allowed a voice in the government. Your repug government didn’t want to listen to the troops. And none of you trolls seemed to care about that one bit. There’s support for the troops for you.

November 18th, 2005 at 1:38 pm“Clearly they don’t care what happens after birth because they’re trying to dismantle every single social program out there (food stamps, WIC, etc.).”Love, Carol
*****Carol – new concept – I’ll type s-l-o-w-l-y – people should take care of their OWN children. If they can’t and no relatives are available – let willing and responsiblemarried couples adopt.
Bingo – You are an opportunistic user – you use people to secure rights and priveleges for you and you CONTRIBUTE NOTHING to the society – sit in the corner and wash your moth out – P>S. If you were brought up by a mom – tell her she did a lousy job- unless you completely rebelled after age 18 – we’ll give her a pass if she tried to teach you decent manners and you were just to slow to catch on.
November 18th, 2005 at 8:17 pmI admire bingo! Anyone who can type a whole sentence with his hand on my wallet is talented. (although bingo may want to stop using the “McGoverneque” rhetoric, it don’t go over too well then….)
