RightMarch.com, a conservative online advocacy group, has launched a campaign trying to get a right-wing musical duo, The Right Brothers, onto MTV.
Well grab your iPods and crank up your speakers, because ThinkProgress has a sneak preview of the Brothers’ new single, “Bush Was Right.” If any song was ever a virtual lock to top the TRL charts, it’s got to be this rockin’ tribute to all things Bush.
Some sample lyrics and an audio excerpt below (and no, this is not a parody):
Don’t you know that all this means…
Free elections in Iraq, Saddam Hussein locked up
Osama’s staying underground, Al Qaida now is finding out
America won’t turn and run once the fighting has begun
Bush was right! Bush was right!
[UPDATE: MSNBC's Keith Olbermann put together a music video for the song. Crooks & Liars has the video.]
RightMarch.com has big plans for The Right Brothers. Here’s a bit more from a recent email to their supporters (again, this is not a parody, we promise):
This is what the youth in America need. They’re already bombarded with songs on the radio and videos on MTV that trash our President, conservative beliefs, and traditional American values. From “Mosh” by Eminem, to “Idiot Son of an A**hole” by NOFX… all of these songs serve to fill young people’s minds with LIES. [...]
WILL YOU HELP US? We’re putting together a “kickin’” music video right now, and we’re preparing a HUGE grassroots campaign to get hundreds of thousands of people to request “Bush Was Right!” on MTV’s “Total Request Live” show… leading to our demands for it to be played in regular rotation!
If they DON’T – then we’ll hit the media in a BIG way, showing how MTV plays left-wing videos while CENSORING conservative videos!
Full text of the email (with song lyrics) here.
It sounded better with a German accent.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:18 pmSomehow I think Clint Black has a hand in this. Scumbag. I used to love Clint. What a freakin’ shame.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:18 pmIs this on the BS record label?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:18 pmI love the out of nowhere “Ted Kennedy, wrong! Cindy Sheehan, wrong!”.
I can actually see this finding an audience.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:20 pmWOW…this cannot be for real, I am never much for what is played on MTV but this bad even by there standards (hopefully AirAmerica keeps playing those GD & Phish bits)

November 16th, 2005 at 1:23 pmWow, sounds a lot like “We Didn’t Start The Fire” by Billy Joel. Like a modern sub-standard punk remake version of it. The way they sing “Freedom in Afghanistan, say goodbye Taliban, Free elections in Iraq, Saddam Hussein locked up” sound a lot like “Pope Paul, Malcolm X, British politician sex, JFK, blown away, what else do I have to say”.
Anyone else wanna back me up on this?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:24 pmIs this some bizzaro world sequel to Billy Joel’s “We didn’t start the fire”? – I’d say sue ‘em Billy but this thing has got to get wide play, it’ll destroy the gop’s chances with an entire generation.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:26 pm“Who’s the Most Unstable rightwing blowhard?†Here’s where we’re at. Seems we missed an important member to this list.

November 16th, 2005 at 1:30 pmFortunately those that watch that shit on MTV couldn’t find a polling place anywhere that didn’t have funny cigarette smoke pouring out the door. This is no surprise. Tbe Bushco has always appealed to those with IQ’s less than their shoe size. Why should we expect more?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:30 pmthese guys should team up with the Nazi Jailbait Twins for a tour… it’d be called the We REALLY Suck Tour…
November 16th, 2005 at 1:31 pmDo MTV viewers even know who Cindy Sheehan is? Or who Zell Miller is? Man, even is music form, Republicans can’t back up their arguements. Just saying they are “wrong” and Bush is “right” does’t help anything.
There isn’t that much freedom in Afghanistan, the Taliban is still alive and well, Free elections in Iraq have happened before except these latest ones were reportedly rigged, Saddam Hussein is lockeded up but it took forever for him to be put on tiral or have charges put against him, and his followers are still fighting for him, and Osama has probably been dead forever, but even if he IS underground – America never brought him back dead or alive as promised, and HIS followers are strong too.
Sooooo… anything else you have for us Right Brothers?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:32 pmYoung Pioneer songs were usually sung at various Young Pioneer meetings, in Young Pioneer camps and at schools. One of the earliest and the most popular song was the Young Pioneer March. It was written in 1922 by Aleksandr Zharov (music by Sergei Dyoshkin) and was sometimes called The Anthem of Young Pioneers. There were a great many of other songs, here are some very popular ones:
Song About The First Young Pioneer Detachment (music by A.Dolukhanian, lyrics by S.Runge)
Our Land (Dmitry Kabalevsky, A.Prishelets)
Gaidar Is Marching First (A.Pakhmutova, N.Dobronravov)
The Eaglet (V.Bely, Ya. Shvedov)
The Little Joyful Drummer (L.Shvarts, Bulat Okudzhava)
March Of Young Pioneer Groups (N.Gubar’kov, G. Khodosov)
May There Always Be Sunshine (A.Ostrovsky, L.Oshanin)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_Movement
Here are a few about the beloved leader.
“Long live Stalin, who leads us from one victory to another one…”
One more song spreading cult of Stalin
Stalin is my dear teacher and friend…”
This song was written for elections in 1938.
By Pyotr Kirichek
Heart is beating for Motherland and singing about Stalin…”
A good pre-WWII song about Stalin was written for elections in 1938
“The people sing a beautiful song about Stalin, wise and dear…”
Music by A. Alexandrov
“…we sing and Stalin will hear our song in the Kremlin Palace…”
This and other songs were used to teach soviet children
Official name: “Song about Stalin”
“Stalin is our glory, Stalin is a flight of our youth…”
A good song about “Father of the nations”
Music M.Blanter, text by A.Surkov, 1938.

November 16th, 2005 at 1:33 pm#20 – I didn’t know the Twins sucked. I suspected as much. But without video it’s rather difficult to tell just how slutty they can be.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:33 pmlook what Sean Combs (I can’t keep up with his latest name..P, Diddy, whatever) did with his vote or die
November 16th, 2005 at 1:33 pmHas any American group or artist devoted an album defending the president prior this? I’m just thinking… if they gotta roll up their sleeves and make some elbow room to join the vastly powerful, vastly overwhelming—unstoppable I tell you!—left-wing conspiracy to try to stop the left from influencing kids through music, it really shows how out of touch these people are.
I love the rationale behind the right’s knee-jerk reactions. When the polls showed Bush had a slight over Kerry, it demonstrated the American people know who’s the better man for the job. Now that polls show the American people don’t trust Bush, don’t support the conflict or the Republican-led Congress, we liberals are somehow brainwashing the American people. Too bad we couldn’t get it to work before election night, hey?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:33 pmThe Right Brothers? That’ll never fly.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:36 pmthe funny thing is, this song goes into complete detail, down to very core, of every GOP argument:
“ME RIGHT; YOU WRONG”
November 16th, 2005 at 1:37 pmBilly Joel, Warm up your lawyers.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:38 pmUmmm, is it me, or is the style about 15 to 20 years old.
THIS is going to appeal to a rap crowd, a punk crowd, a “new age” crowd? I don’t think so.
so, who are they trying to impress? The kids? Or the parents who remember this semi-1980’s, early MTV, style music with a vague Huey Lewis and the News style to it?
Here’s a good one to remember…..Bush lied, and the troops are still dying because of those lies.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:39 pmIf ever a story required a response of
“SEIG HEIL!”
This is it.
Repeat Refrain:
“Bush was right, SEIG HEIL!”
November 16th, 2005 at 1:41 pm“Bush was right, HEIL mein Fuhrer!”
“Bush was right, HEIL BUSH!”
Opium in Afghanistan, say hi American Taliban
Rigged elections in Iraq, Saddam Hussein’s lawyers dead
Osama’s hiding underground, and we cannot smoke him out
America won’t turn and run once the spinning has begun
North Korea makes some nukes, hurricanes are running loose
Syria tries to deceive, and the sheeple still believe
Bush was right?
Bush was right?
Bush was right?
Democracy is on the way, but not in our USA
All over New Orleans, in water up to their knees
Don’t know what they’re gonna do, their worst nightmare is coming true
Where’s the National Guard, you ask? Not enough to do the task
Bush was right!
Not a mite!
See the light!
WMDs – wrong!
9/11 link – wrong!
Abu Graib – WRONG!
Zell Miller – NUTS!
Economy is on the rise (up from its complete demise)
Angry workers can’t believe their jobs have gone to the Chinese
Education’s staying down, ’cause ID has come to town
Poverty is going up, can you say “Tax Cutsâ€
Bush was right!
Far to the right!
Out of sight!
Kerry was right, Edwards was right,
November 16th, 2005 at 1:42 pmFitzie was right, Wilson was right
You were right, We were right, “The left†was right
and Bush can’t fight!
The right bites!
Thanks… g’night!
Seems like a good time to remind everyone about the way, way cooler Music for America.

November 16th, 2005 at 1:44 pmPoppies in Afghanistan, hello Mr. Taliban

Neo-cons turn and run once the lyin’has begun
Don’t you know that all this means…
Bush was wrong! Bush was wrong!
Man, that was easy – think it’ll play on MTV?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:44 pmThe Truth is, the Song Sucks!
I just saw a segment on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, about this song, which purports to spread the “TRUTH About Iraq”. It is from RightMarch.com, where their tag line is “Patriotism in Action”
November 16th, 2005 at 1:45 pm“Hey there, Georgie girl
November 16th, 2005 at 1:45 pmSwinging down the street so fancy free
Nobody you meet could ever see
The lonliness there inside of you”
#11 – It does sound like billy joel, when i first saw it i thought it was sarcasm, a joke, but it’s not. Now it makes me kinda queasy thinking about the people that will actually like this song.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:45 pmSo Bush was wrong about WMDs. Now 2000+ are dead, $200 billion is spent, 15,000+ wounded and maimed, with no end in sight. Pretty expensive mistake. Don’t we pay the president to get it right? Isn’t this mistake alone enough to condemn him? Other people and countries — including the oft-maligned French — were telling him he was wrong. He ignored them all. He was determined to go to war, no matter what the real threats were. He did not use war as a last resort, as he said he would. I think that ignoring the truth, along with sending men into battle with faulty intelligence ought to be a punishable offense.
I know that if I cost our country 2000 lives and $200 billion I would be in big trouble. The president should be in big trouble. Getting it wrong ought to matter and it ought to have consequences. Getting it wrong certainly has had consequences for the 2000+ dead and the 15,000+ wounded and maimed. It certainly has consequences for all our citizens and for our economy. President Bush seems to be trying to pass the buck. Where does the buck stop? Don’t we need to get people in there who don’t make the kinds of mistakes that George W. Bush makes? Hmmm?
They got it wrong on pre-war intelligence, wrong on Katrina, wrong on tax cuts for the rich, wrong on cuts in benefits for the poor, wrong on burgeoning deficits. How much else are they wrong about? How long are we going to take it? George W. Bush and the Republicans are just Wrong for America.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:45 pm#34 – Great rewrite!
November 16th, 2005 at 1:46 pmThat should be “no great threat” -sorry.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:47 pmI think MTV just censors out the crap, and not right or left. What is it with conservatives and their extreme paranoia about the “left wing” media?
November 16th, 2005 at 1:47 pmHahaha. Billy Joel is soooooo going to sue these guys.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:48 pmKinda like the Monkees or the Archies- an astroturf pop band?
Geez, this whole schtick went out way long ago.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:48 pmAmerica, F**K YEAH!
November 16th, 2005 at 1:49 pmI got two words for these losers: Green Day…
“American Idiot” sums up how the reality-based community feels. If Carson ever plays this dreck on TRL, he’ll be laughed outa Times Square…
I wonder if they’ll donate all their proceeds to the USO or VFW or some other veterans’ cause? Nahh…they’ll just pocket it and laugh all the way to the bank, like the rest of the ultra-right wingnut fascists…
November 16th, 2005 at 1:50 pmI like the sort of weird references that don’t really help…
“Democracy is on the way, hitting like a tidal wave”
Democracy is going to cause a huge amount of destruction and kill tons of people? This might be a more apt simile had we not recently witnessed a tidal wave.
“They fear the domino effect”
November 16th, 2005 at 1:50 pmSure you want to invoke the Vietnam era, guys? And that’s not even what that means — the domino effect was the risk of “one bad apple spoiling the bunch,” not of some neocon wet dream invasion of country after country.
The Witch, I like your version a lot better.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:51 pm#44 – This reminds me, I thought Team America was a documentary. It was soooo real.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:51 pmI liked Olbermann pointing out on Countdown last night that for the song to find a significant mainstream audience it would kinda need to NOT SUCK first
November 16th, 2005 at 1:51 pmIf you click on the ‘tour’ link on their site, you’ll find that they have two gigs (copied and pasted, scout’s honor):
11/29 Franklin, TN Williamson Ag Expo Operation Welcome Home featuring Lee Greenwood
01/28 Washington, DC Georgetown University Take Back Georgetown Day
November 16th, 2005 at 1:52 pmclose tag
November 16th, 2005 at 1:52 pmKeith Olbermann did his own “video” of this thing last night on Countdown. Too funny! The brothers say the song is going to be a hit on MTV, and if it’s not, it’s because the lefties are keeping them down. Riiiight.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:53 pmSo, “RightMarch” seems to me to be obviously a front group for some GOP or right-wing lobbying group. But what group? Can someone with more tech-savvy than myself figure that out? My guess with be the Young Republicans, but I have no evidence of that, just a hunch.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:53 pmAwesome! We have better songwriters here on TP, even if they are parodies of that crap-assed attempt of a song. I can’t wait to hear Jello Biafra ro Steve Earle’s take on that earache-in-the-making.
November 16th, 2005 at 1:56 pmPut your purple finger in the air
November 16th, 2005 at 1:58 pmn’ point it like you don’t care.
I envision them as a jack-booted Smothers Brothers in reverse (but with less talent). And how do you tell which one is the “stupid brother”? Looks like a tie to me.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:00 pmGreat, we can have a “Battle of the Bands”, just like in high school, except they’ll be using disinformation, chemical weapons and torture, and then blame us for not saying it was a stupid idea to start with.
Sympathy for the War
Don’t pull your hair wondering
who it was that bombed Baghdad
way back in 2003.
Sorry for not writing earlier
I was in Congo and in Darfur
praying with Bush43.
Can’t yet year the bombs coming?
And don’t wait too long, don’t be sad
Georgie’s doing it with me.
The war is on, and I always win
and afterwards I’ll see you all,
see you all in Hell.
Clinton saw it coming and tried his best
just used Whitewater and a ho
put him in his place.
Seems to be some confusion here
y’all want a nuclear war
what you bitch’n fo?
Don’t you know my face?
November 16th, 2005 at 2:02 pmCan’t you guess my name?
I personally find this song absolutely hilarious – it really is a parody and is just laughable. These wingnuts can’t even get talented artists to push their line of BS. I have 3 teenagers and I think they’ll all be ROFL when they hear this piece of garbage. I’m not too worried that MTV will pick this up …
How pathetic these people are!
November 16th, 2005 at 2:04 pmthat’s the first time i’ve ever heard “NOFX” and “TRL” used in the same breath.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:04 pmRight-Wingers Want Right-Wing Rockers on MTV?
From the Shit-You-Not files,
RightMarch.com a right-wing hate site, is pushing to get a song by the, I kid you know, “Right Brother” onto MTV and radio stations. I first want to say this shows how out of touch they are, MTV does not play music! Al…

Song: Spirit in the Sky Lyrics
When I die–
and they lay me to rest!
Gonna go to the place–
that’s the best!
When I lay me–
down to die!
Goin’ up–
to the spirit in the sky!
Goin’ up–
to the spirit in the sky!
That’s where I’m gonna go when I die
When I die–
and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place–
that’s the best!
Prepare yourself
you know it’s a must
Gotta have a friend in Us!
So you know that when you die
He’s gonna recommend you
To the spirit in the sky
Gonna recommend you
To the spirit in the sky
That’s where you’re gonna go when you die
When you die
and they lay you to rest
You’re gonna go
to the place that’s the best!
Never been a sinner
I never sinned
I got a friend in Jesus
So you know that when I die
He’s gonna set me up with
The spirit in the sky
Oh set me up
with the spirit in the sky
That’s where I’m gonna go when I die
When I die
and they lay me to rest!
I’m gonna go

Go to the place

Bush songs lyrics are even a ripoff…cant remember name of group tho’..=)
You guys read the rest of their lyrics on the site? There is some plain, downright offensive shit on there. Try “The Illegals” or this one:
You Can’t Racial Profile
Written by: Aaron Sain
Lead vocals: Aaron Sain
Well, I ain’t never seen a grandma
Strap dynamite around her waist
Or put explosives in her slip-ons
And try to blow a plane to outerspace
As a matter of fact every terrorist act
That’s taken place in the friendly sky
You must understand has been by an olived skinned man
Between 18 and 35
Chorus
You can’t racial profile
We’ve got laws against that insensitive attack
And meanwhile, they can pull every granny out of line
You can poke ‘em and prod ‘em if they’re yellow, black or white
But if they’re Middle Eastern well you’d better treat ‘em right
‘Cause being politically correct is more important than saving lives
Ermm, olive skinned man? This is a joke, right?
November 16th, 2005 at 2:09 pm#11–the pertinent lyric from that song is “Ayatollahs in Iran, Russians in Afghanistan”. One of the reasons we’re having so much trouble “democratizing” over there now–they keep shooting us with weapons we gave them in the 80’s.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:10 pmThey’d make a terriffic coaster….
November 16th, 2005 at 2:11 pmMan, what a piece of crap. Even for pop-punk this is just a big stinky pile of utter rat crap. Total schlock. Olby is right, it needs to not suck first. But the scary part is if they get the word out, the mindless drones of the right will all fall into line.
If they go on tour, they should be giving out “brownshirts” at the door.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:11 pm#53
There seems to be so many reasons and organizations behind William Greene, mastermind of RightMarch, to single them out.
Just check it out:

November 16th, 2005 at 2:21 pmfind out where they’re playing and bottle them off the stage.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:22 pmIs this a joke? I think Billy Joel is going to sue.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:22 pmCondi can play a classical version then the twins can have a rave then Scott McClellan can do a Solid Gold dance interpretation a hit on all social levels!
November 16th, 2005 at 2:23 pmIt’s true. There really is a such a fine line between stupid and clever.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:24 pmSounds a little like a Billy Joel rip off of “We Didn’t Start The Fire…
November 16th, 2005 at 2:24 pmWho are the Right Brothers that are singing this? Are they really going to put this on TV or Radio?
I like what #31 Witch made up.

November 16th, 2005 at 2:29 pmI guess we can all email MTV begging them not to play this peice of propogandist crap – or I hope they will play it and DIS it mad!
November 16th, 2005 at 2:30 pmAnd hopefully a bunch of counter-protesters will show at their Georgetown U gig. Run these lame-ass geeks out of town on a rail, if only for bad songwriting!
The Prefab Two, “Putting together a kickin’ music video”?
November 16th, 2005 at 2:30 pmThat is frigging hilarious. If it wasn’t for that STAR SPANGLED chorus Billy Joel could’ve sued them for ripping off “We Didn’t Star the Fire” (ironically the song Dwight the Fascist ripped off on NBC’s “The Office”).
November 16th, 2005 at 2:31 pmOMFG!
My ears are bleeding, but I just had to listen to it.
Jeebus, that sh!t sucks big time. That sounds just like a n ’80s poser heavy metal band. You know the guys that didn’t know how to play guitar or sing, but looked good in makeup.
Baaaaaarrrrrrrrrfffffffff.
MTV WILL NOT PLAY THIS!
Not to mention it costs money to get your video played on MTV. They don’t just play something because people want them to. Get a grip you retards.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:31 pm#20–45 comments later, and I’m STILL laughing at “Nazi Jailbait Twins”….that’s going on my top ten list of funniest things ever seen on a blog…
As for MTV…y’all can calm down. not a CHANCE this gets any play. The young generation is wickedly liberal, and there’s NO audience for this garbage. And I love how they already have excuses for their inevitable MTV rejection–”liberal bias”. Ha ha!!! It’s not bias–it’s that you music sounds like a shit.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:33 pmSounds a lot like “Christian Rock”–music that sucks but that a gullible captive audience has to listen to. Lotsa luck on MTV, guys. Maybe if you could get Eminem to sing it…
November 16th, 2005 at 2:33 pmLike a steely blade in the silken sheath we don’t see what they’re made of
They shout about love but when push comes to shove, they live for the things their afraid of
And the knowledge that they fear, is a weapon to be used against them
Neil Peart
November 16th, 2005 at 2:34 pm[...] And you’ve gotta love these kick ass chuckleheads (listen to that MP3- you will cry). I laughed so hard I cried. Trust me on this, you will too. [...]
November 16th, 2005 at 2:35 pmLeave it to sleazy used car salesman republicans to come up with this propaganda shit. The difference between the songs with a right twist and this crap is that “Mosh†by Eminem, “Idiot Son of an A**hole†by NOFX, “American Idiot” by Greenday, etc., is that those were written by artists expressing their personal views and weren’t blatantly pushed on liberal-based websites. This is such an obvious conservative plant, and such a weak attempt at brainwashing youth, I almost feel sorry for them.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:36 pmWow. Sounds like a weddding band.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:39 pmSorry Right Brothers but creativity and calculation don’t work well together.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:40 pmHEY!! Can anyone get some tour date information? I’d pay money to attend this concert, just for the absurdity (and surefire heckling) I’d be witnessing.
Somebody find out if they plan to tour (outside of OK and Utah, that is)
November 16th, 2005 at 2:40 pmJust another piece of cheap, and cheesie right-wing propaganda. Full of lies, deceit and adolescent theatrics. It smells of cheap booze and cocaine, just like Bush’s breath!

November 16th, 2005 at 2:40 pmFrom Arron Sain’s website, producer, writer and drummer for this crap.
“Monday, February 21
THE RIGHT BROTHERS second album “II” is now out and available at http://www.therightbrothers.com. They debuted it last week at CPAC in Washington D.C. and are in the process of booking shows for ‘05.
In less than six months THE RIGHT BROTHERS first album, “For My Country”, has sold to all 50 states and two foreign countries!
Aaron has finished his time with Curb Music and wishes to thank everyone there for their support over the past three years. Aaron is the owner of 367 Music and is currently talking with some publishers about a co-venture.”
So, we haven’t updated our website for oh 9 months.
Their second album is called “II”. How original. It debuted at CPAC ‘05.
CPAC ‘06 will have some of our favorite performers. Here’s the list:
Vice President Dick Cheney
Speaker Dennis Hastert
Senator George Allen
Senator Mitch McConnell
Ann Coulter
Ken Mehlman
Wayne LaPierre
Bob Novak
Grover Norquist
and many more!
It goes on to say that in less than six months, they have sold “II” in 50 states and 2 forieng countries. So, from this, I can guess that they have sold 52 copies.
Then it goes on to say that Aaron owns 367 Music, of which I can’t find a website.
Want some more fun? Go check out the lyrics for the songs on the album “II”
http://www.therightbrothers.com/lyrics/two.php
You will notice that their web master used “two” and not “II”. Funny sh!t.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:42 pmThis is a new frontier.
The line “olive-skinned man” reminded me of a band called “Prussian Blue” from California:
http://www.prussianblue.net/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_Blue_(American_duo)
These 12yo girls are a white supremacy pop music duo.
The Reichwingers seem to have a never ending supply of “artists” who are more than happy to spew hate, and advocate racism as a way of life.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:44 pmThis tune is bound to get a few laughs.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:45 pmI’m just wondering, is it meant to be funny?
CEA,
You’re absolutely right — it fits right in with the “Christian Rock” genre. This is going to get mega-play on Christian Rock stations (a major market in some areas).
November 16th, 2005 at 2:46 pmAny chance Arron could rename the band N’Sain?
November 16th, 2005 at 2:46 pmThis screams desperation so loudly we should all be deaf by now. It will be forgotten by tomorrow. Kind of like the people who came out with “documentaries” that “debunked” Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11.” People talked about them on the release date, but they were forgotten a day later, while “Fahrenheit 9/11″ is still being talked about. Lies, BS and gossip are only interested as long as it takes to tell them. They have the shelf-life of a carton of milk. The truth lasts forever.
November 16th, 2005 at 2:48 pmKudos in advance to whoever sets that dreck to footage of Iraqi casualties, Hurricane Katrina victims, etc…
November 16th, 2005 at 2:50 pmRIP OFF. Billy Joel should sue.

November 16th, 2005 at 2:52 pmWithout saying anything other than “listen to this”, I played this for a 19 year old here in my office and his first words were “Eww, that sounds kinda gay… what the hell?”.
Maybe lefty should ban gay songs too.

November 16th, 2005 at 3:03 pmmaybe we can get them chipmunk critters to sing it!
November 16th, 2005 at 3:05 pmYee Haw!
This makes me angry. Now I can’t listen to REM’s “End of the World (As We Know It)” without thinking of this song. Or that Billy Joel tune.
Favorite part: “French … WROOOONGGG! … Zell Miller…. Riiiiigggghhhht!!!”
Maybe we can make our own sequel with a chorus that says, “BUSH WAS RIGHT! But he said, throughout his re-election campaign, he would have invaded Iraq even if he was wrrrrrrooooonnnnnggggg!”
November 16th, 2005 at 3:05 pmWow, well I’m convinced. This song and video TOTALLY changed my mind. After seeing this video, I think I’ll become a Republican. What a joke! This is their intellectual capacity? I say MTV should play it, hopefully the kids will realize how stupid it is. Unless they read “O’Reilly For Kids”.

So, “.” shows his true colors. STFU.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:07 pmEver seen a Christian rock concert? They all have an arm in the air and sway back and forth with their eyes closed. The same audience is just one small upward wrist movement away from the fascist Nazi salute.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:08 pmOrville & Willpower – The “Right Brothers”
Joe E. Brown once said that he wanted to lose some weight, and so he gave up heavy eating and heavy drinking, and he found at the end of two weeks he had lost 14 days.
That is the way it goes with many weight loss attempts. Weight is lost, and then it is gained back. That means that the only thing really lost is time.
What I really would like to talk about today is “will power.†Have you ever used the phrase, “I just don’t have enough willpower?†Certainly you have heard others use the phrase. The saddest thing about that phrase is that it is completely untrue, and still people believe it. You have willpower, plenty of if. How many times have you gone to work, faced a boss or coworker that was obnoxious, stupid, and rude and not punched him the nose, or even acted in an uncivilized manner? How many times have you been cutoff on the freeway by some unthinking moron, and not slammed your car into his, as he was begging you to do? How about the last time that clerk at the counter made some rude comment to you, and you did not reach over the counter and rosy up her cheeks for her as she so richly deserved? How did you remain civilized in the face of uncivilized behavior? You used your will power! And it took more will power to control your actions in those circumstances than the vast majority of a weight loss journey will take. Does that sound crazy? Let me explain.
Think of willpower as jet fuel. Jet fuel supplies the power for flying aircraft all around the world. No one would suggest that jet fuel is an ineffective source of power for air travel. However, if you try to use it directly, you will fail to achieve safe air travel. If you take the amount of jet fuel, necessary to fly from here to a destination 1,000 miles from here, and you put it into a large tank, crawl up on top of the tank, and then light a match…. BOOM! You just blew yourself up. It was not because you did not have enough power in your tank, but it was because you used it incorrectly, that you failed.

I seem to remember a recent campaign to get MTV to show DEVO’s old “Whip It” video once again. That didn’t work, so I suspect this won’t either.
I’d much rather see “Whip It” than this shit. It makes much more sense.

What does a right wing site have to do with who is talking about 9/11.
Truth: I literally just had a co-worker come up to me on Monday, yes this Monday and tell me he just watched 9/11. His quote: “How the fvck did Bush get relected.
So, people are still talking about it. Your firends and family may not be, because you are republican zombies, bu the rest of the world is.

I don’t mean you and your loser liberal circle of friends. The movie is over. Nobody with a life continues to talk about the previous summer’s movies as if they were current events, but you and the left have no life. Also, did you catch where Michael owned shares of Halliburton? What a hypocrite! That alone would piss me off from being a liberal forever. Also, how many minorities does he employee? Michael is in business for Michael. The sooner you guys understand that the better.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:26 pm[...] Update: found it (@ TP). Apparently the “silent majority” is a majority if 35% is now defined as more than half. Which it is… in Kansas. [...]
November 16th, 2005 at 3:26 pmBoy, even a rightwing jerk like me has to bite down real hard on this one. I can tell you right now that the guys down at the bar won’t be playing the “Bush was Right” tune any time soon. Even those hillbillies know bullshit when they hear it. I’m thinking the Right Brothers are a just a couple of turds trying to cash in on the rightwing of the Republican party.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but in checking out their site, only two localized appearances are lined up and no one seems to be knocking down their door to book them on a show. If it wasn’t for the RightMarch site, they would still be writing songs for REAL singers. I mean, maybe Frank and Aaron should stick to song writing as their obscure sorry-assed recordings are not even getting a review on the country western stations.

November 16th, 2005 at 3:34 pmJoe Sixpack — it’s obvious that they aren’t trying to get a hit on country radio and/or jukeboxes. This is rock and roll! And the kids and adults into the rock aren’t about to rock out to it.

November 16th, 2005 at 3:38 pmThing is, if these idiots were simply giving the song away, they could claim it as a parody. But since they’re charging $25 a pop for it, they’re setting themselves up to be sued by Sony and/or Billy Joel.
Way to go, morons!
November 16th, 2005 at 3:43 pmIt’s much more than a movie.

These guys are lame.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:46 pmThat is frigging hilarious. If it wasn’t for that STAR SPANGLED chorus Billy Joel could’ve sued them for ripping off “We Didn’t Star the Fire†(ironically the song Dwight the Fascist ripped off on NBC’s “The Officeâ€).
Oh, he can still sue. If half of the people here automatically realized the morons were ripping off Billy Joel AND SELLING IT, Billy Joel has a case. And since they aren’t giving it away, but actually trying to sell it, he has even more of a case.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:48 pmJust remember, repubs are so deperate now, they have to put propaganda out for the kids. They are scraping the bottom here folks. It’s like you can almost smell the rotting flesh. And repubs will buy anything. Judging from our budget deficit, they aren’t very frugal.
November 16th, 2005 at 3:49 pmHey #113, I checked out the state.com site. The liberals would think that it sure does suck, huh? All that slanted, rightwing crap that slate puts out even chokes up into my throat for God’s sake, and I’m a conservative! But with the tag “.”? I mean, “.” reminds me of that lame-assed Bill O’Reilly’s constant “pinhead” characterizations.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but as long as we are attacking Michael Moore, whats your take on him traveling to Iraq 7 times to entertain the troops, who always give him a BIG welcome? I mean, don’t it just frost your ass the way the military troops in Iraq like him? Makes you wonder why O’Reilly and Hannity can’t get off their $$$tours long enough to go there themselves, especially since they like war so much.
I think you need a new handle before everyone starts calling you “pinhead”, pinhead.

November 16th, 2005 at 4:04 pmHey Right Brothers:
Good luck trying to get that dreck played on MTV, even though, MTV rarely plays music videos nowadays and shows mostly reality shows with has been celebrites and pretty people who have nothing in common with blue collar or middle class folks like us.
Kevin NYC,
Unfortunately, Bobby Hatfield died last year of a cocaine related heart failure, so I do agree that Bill Medley and Billy Joel should get their lawyers as well
as a few Mafia guys to settle this matter once and for all.
I heard that piece of dreck on Countdown, too. Keith tells it like it is. I hope he destroys Al’Reilly in the ratings.

and MTV doesn’t “censor” anything; they play the music which will get them the most advertising revenue. surely the self-described “greedy capitalist” right brothers can appreciate that. and while it’s most usually crap, it’s not crap that will make 12-year olds think they’re watching the news.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:13 pmMan, that is some skeevily horrible lite rock music they got there.
My favorite is how they couldn’t come up with a second verse!!! So they just repeat the first verse!! Har har.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:23 pmWhen those doomed black men in the early 50’s invented rock’n'roll, I wonder if they ever thought their creation would be abused this way. Whoever the “right” brother are, my hope is that they contract painful, inoperable cancers. I mean that with all due respect.

sorry kids: they call you bush leaguers for two reasons.
November 16th, 2005 at 4:42 pmThere’s a bigger issue here than simply the Right Brothers. Is it just me, or do most artists/songs that support the president really really suck? And not just “not fun to listen to” but “irrevelant”? Think about it. On the Vote For Change, there were young, popular, rising bands like Bright Eyes and Death Cab for Cutie. There were legendary rock acts like Bruce Springsteen, John Mellecamp, and REM. On the right, who’s comperable? Charlie Daniels? Does he have another song beside “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”? Toby Keith? Do people my age (20s) even listen to Toby Keith? Anyone else important or relevant like the President’s policies?
November 16th, 2005 at 4:47 pmWow, it sucks and blows at the same time!

For My Country
Written by: Aaron Sain/Frank Highland
Lead vocals: Frank Highland
I’ve never served in the military
Or put my life on the line
I’ve never made a sacrifice for my country
But I know of those who have
Lost it all in the fight
And of the ones they left behind for my country
Chorus
Makes me wanna sing, sing out loud
With a voice that’s free and proud
For those who fell on blood-stained ground for my country
Wanna let the world know where I stand
That I believe in the heart of this great land
And that I pray God’s guiding hand for my country
Turned on the news first thing this morning
And saw where two more soldiers died
So I could sleep in peace last night in my country
Repeat Chorus 2X

Yeah, Osama’s underground but I’d rather he be dead or in custody, like Bush promised. And yeah, the Taliban is still out of power but I’d rather they be dead or in custody, too, instead of circling Afghanistan’s borders like a pack of hungry jackals. And yeah, al Qaeda’s now finding out that we won’t cut and run because we were too stupid to send enough troops in the beginning to do the job properly so now we have to fight them in Iraq so we don’t have to fight them anywhere else (hint- they’re everywhere else).
Oops, I guess Bush wasn’t right about everything.

Best of all, we know Dear Cheerleader kin play a mean git-tar.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:24 pmThe Right is finally fighting back and getting the message out: Bush was right! This along with the new commercial that shows how flip-floppers like Bill Clinton, Howard Dean, and Ted Kennedy supported the idea that Iraq had WMD long before Bush said they did. If Bush lied, than Clinton lied, Howard Dean lied, and Ted Kennedy lied!
If I could vote for Bush for a third time I would because George W Bush is saving America. He’s saving America from itself. From the cowards and the traitors. The flip-floppers and the appeasers. The liberals who would throw up a white flag and hand America over to the terrorists on a silver platter. George W Bush is saving our freedom.
Bush is like a freedom evangelist. He’s bringing freedom to the world weather they like it or not!
Saddam’s locked up, Iraq is liberated, Afghanistan has freedom. Mission Accomplished Mr President.

November 16th, 2005 at 5:29 pmTrue Am. you’re a parody, right? Nothing has been accomplished. American soldiers are still dying and Iraq isn’t any safer than two years ago.

November 16th, 2005 at 5:42 pmso, the republican strategy is when your policies fail to just ignore reality and claim sucess – ‘if we just pretend it’s true no one will notice’ – i guess that’s the new strategy. on second thought, ‘new’ doesnt correctly describe it.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:42 pmwhat kills me is when those who seek to defend power and privilege cast themselves as the underdogs (up against some all-powerful liberal hegemony i guess)
Those guys played on the National Mall at the little pro-war rally they held September 25, the day after the big anti-war march.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:43 pmThat would be the liberal media and liberal hollywood. We need a man like Joseph McCarthy again.
November 16th, 2005 at 5:49 pmThose guys played on the National Mall at the little pro-war rally they held September 25, the day after the big anti-war march.
Oh did they play at the little pro-war rally? Gosh that was one of the puniest, weakest rallies Ive ever seen. It looked more like badly advertised flea market than a rally. I believe that male prostitute Jeff Guckert was there. Wondered if he went “backstage” to “meet” with the band?
November 16th, 2005 at 5:56 pmDamn. If only Clinton had followed through on his promise to invade Iraq. If Clinton had got us stuck there, thousands of soldiers dead, hundreds of billions of dollars spent, Republicans would be singing his praises.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:00 pmYou just don’t understand, this is about protecting our freedom by any means necessary. Anyone who threatens our freedom whoever they are need to either be put down or sent to Club Gitmo for an indefinite amout of time till we coerce what we want to know from them. Then they can be put down.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:07 pmBush was right about Katrina too!
November 16th, 2005 at 6:11 pmIf Clinton had got us stuck there, thousands of soldiers dead, hundreds of billions of dollars spent, Republicans would be singing his praises.
No. Clinton could have given each Republikan a $100K each and they would still blame him for their hemorrhoids, bad sex lives, etc. Modern-day Republikans are brainwashed via hate radio to do what they are told and not to question their superiors, ever. They are mindless unquestioning sycophants, quite different from you and me.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:11 pmDamn right we’re different! Republicans can actually think for ourselves instead of listening to our emotions like some candy ass liberal. We’re not plugged into the liberal hive mind called Hollywood and the liberal media. We know the truth when we hear it.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:23 pmRepublicans think for themselves, ha ha, that’s a good one. Their only strength is they march in ideological lock-step.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:33 pmI challenge any Republican to put this on the top of their party playlist. Cruise the town blasting this dreck at top volume. Play it at your favorite dance club. Let us know how you do.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:36 pmWMD. Righ…oh wait, WRONG!
Funny, they don’t mention that.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:38 pm“We’re not plugged into the liberal hive mind called Hollywood and the liberal media. We know the truth when we hear it.”
Right, when the so called “truth” comes from Fox news and right wing radio??? Ah I see! So in your world, Hollywood is one big political smear machine and journalism is a tool of the “liberal elite”.
Oh wait…but question, does profit have anything to do with it?? Does the left make a profit? Does Leo DeCaprio make a profit when hes speaking for the enviroment? Does Angelina Jolie make a profit being a ambassador of a third world country for the poor?? Do journalists make millions of dollars from reporting the news?
Nope…but right wing pundits do. Yep, they make millions from their jobs. Who really is looking out for you??? Those who make millions from their jobs protecting corporate and gov’t images or those who become social and enviromental activists. Hmmmmm. I’ll let you figure that out.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:43 pmI saw this awful video last night on Olbermann’s show. The sad part is that it will appeal to the under-informed youth who neither understand nor care what is going on in the world.
November 16th, 2005 at 6:48 pm#187 “instead of listening to our emotions”? What about Bush “I looked into his (Putin’s) heart and I know that he is a good man.”
You know that if you keep ignoring your emotions, your head will explode, don’t you?
November 16th, 2005 at 6:50 pm#178
“Of course soldiers are dying this is war not a videogame! Sacrifices must be made for the greater good. But their sacrifice won’t be forgotten.”
Tell that to the veterans of previous wars who were snubbed by the Bush Administartion, the day before Veterans Day. You need to pull your head out of you a$$ and wake up to what is really going on.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:00 pm#187
“Damn right we’re different! Republicans can actually think for ourselves instead of listening to our emotions like some candy ass liberal. We’re not plugged into the liberal hive mind called Hollywood and the liberal media. We know the truth when we hear it.”
Oh my god, I almost ruptured my spleen laughing so hard. See, you think republicans are like this, when is actuallity it is the left who thinks for themselves and doesn’t spout talking points in every post. You my friend are a closet liberal.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:04 pm#187
And as for the liberal Hollywood, let’s take a look at the present and past.
Arnold “I just got shut the fvck down” Schwasenegger (sp)
REPUBLICAN
Ronald “I don’t recall selling those weapons to Osama” Reagan
REPUBLICAN
November 16th, 2005 at 7:06 pmAnd don’t forget Bruce “too cowardly to enlist when I was of draft age, but now that I’m too old I can talk tough, and pretend to be a soldier in movies” Willis!
November 16th, 2005 at 7:15 pmBruce Willis is a washed-up a–hole.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:16 pm“Bruce Willis is a washed-up a–hole.”
Bruce “bidet” Willis – I like that.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:18 pmSee you can laugh all you want but I get the last laugh because the first time I was old enough to vote was in 2000. I voted for George W Bush. The liberal media tried to sway the vote by making it look like Gore was going to win but in the end the truth prevailed, we won. That was a night to celebrate. Then the sore loser Gore tried to steal Bush’s victory from him but Katherine Harris and the Supreme Court wouldn’t let him. Then in 2004 I voted for Bush again and again we won. Of course the dishonest liberals were up to their old tricks again talking about voter fraud and not letting black people vote but we wouldn’t hear any of it. Bush won no matter what lies they tried to spread. So you see of the two times I’ve voted I got my way while you all get 8 years of misery because you just can’t accept that George W Bush is the rightful heir to the Presidency.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:35 pmBush lost by a half million votes you thieving moron. He also lost in the recount, plus the dishonest republicans had put 10s of THOUSANDS of innocent democrats on a do not vote list.
And by the way, it was BUSH who sued, not Gore, you lying retarded AHole.
You are a thief, he won nothing, he STOLE it, like you and your fellow thieves steal everything. You aren’t ‘winners’, you’re ‘crooks’ and ‘thieves’ and ‘mobsters’, nothing more.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:47 pmYou’re only 23? That explains why you act like you 6 years old.
November 16th, 2005 at 7:47 pmNo matter how you recount the florida 2000 vote, gore won. And that doesn’t even count all of the republican voter fraud!
November 16th, 2005 at 7:50 pmGo educate yourself you stupid child.

November 16th, 2005 at 7:51 pmIs this dynamic duo going to tour with those twin Aryan folk singers everyone was so upset over a couple of weeks ago?
November 16th, 2005 at 7:55 pmWow – #200: Your meds are calling…unless of course this is major sarcasm in which case, you probably should have another hefty drink or three…
November 16th, 2005 at 7:55 pm#202 – you just insulted 6 year olds all over the nation…
November 16th, 2005 at 7:57 pm#207,
Perhaps I did :) I know I was being generous, maybe I should have said 6 month old. It’s more appropriate to the stage of tantrum and irrationality demostrated isn’t it?
November 16th, 2005 at 8:01 pmYou just can’t accept the fact that you’re two time losers. Yeah getting out the vote sure helped you a lot. LOL It doesn’t matter how many of you hippies vote we still win! And your protests sure did change America didn’t they! LOL Keep living in your sheltered little dream world where anything you say and do actually matters to real Americans. Keep pretending you have any chance at all of affecting anything. We’re gonna win the same exact way in 2008 that we won in 2000 and 2004!
Maybe… http://www.rice2008.com/
November 16th, 2005 at 8:01 pmHeirs are for aristocrats, dictatorships and other non-democratic countries. The fact you even use that word just shows how unamerican you are… THIEF, LIAR, FOOL, CHILD. They all fit you perfectly.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:04 pm#207 – I think you were overly genreous on that 6 month old assumption – zygotes are more mature… although perhaps a slug is on par with true A–hole. Poor slugs…
November 16th, 2005 at 8:05 pm#200
“So you see of the two times I’ve voted I got my way while you all get 8 years of misery because you just can’t accept that George W Bush is the rightful heir to the Presidency.”
Righful Heir? Are you kidding me. Do you think you voted for a king? If he is the rightful heir, then why did we bother to vote? You are a moron. Welcome to trollandia.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:05 pmYou just can’t accept the fact that you live in a dictatorship where Torture, WMDs, Secret prisons and Terrorism are the acts of your goverment. In otherwords, you’re a delusional little stupid whacko. You deserve a republican fool as your leader, the rest of us don’t.
So why don’t you move to Iran, and take the rest of your fascist taliban with you.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:05 pmg-e-n-e-r-o-u-s… oops
November 16th, 2005 at 8:06 pm#204 Like I’m going to trust anything from a page called democrats.com. Of course democrats are going to say Bush stole the election, democrats are dishonest and immoral.
The democrats just keep repeating that lie over and over again hoping people will believe it. But only college hippies and stupid poor people believe it. The people that matter know the truth.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:08 pmWho sold WMDs to Iraq: Republicans
Who sold Plutonium Nuclear Reactors to Iran: Republicans
Who created, trained and funded AlQueda: Republicans
Who propped up Iraq with advanced conventional weapons: Republicans
Who tried to illegally ship WMDs into Iraq to frame Saddam, but was caught by the CIA: Republicans
REPUBLICANISM = TERRORISM
November 16th, 2005 at 8:09 pmTrueFascistRetard,
That site links the ORIGINAL SOURCE MATERIAL – something you’ll never see done on one of your propaganda turd hole republican sites. Go read the numbers yourself. My guess is that you’re too retarded, lazy and incapable of doing this. That sort of intellectual laziness is the common thread of all of you retarded republicans.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:10 pmTrueTerrorist,
Your strategy of repeating a lie over and over again is exactly what republicans do. The lie of a ‘liberal media’, or the lie of WMDs in Iraq, or the lie of you winning the 2000 election. You lost by 500,000 votes man, YOU LOST. Only a delusional whacko would still believe it’s the democrats who are lying – but obviously your delusion has you wrapped up like a ‘christmas’ package… You’re such a pathetic and sad creature.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:13 pm“You just can’t accept the fact that you live in a dictatorship where Torture, WMDs, Secret prisons and Terrorism are the acts of your goverment.”
I sleep better at night knowing the terrorists are locked up in some secret prison far from America and far from my family rather than running around free. And as for “torture” well if it means saving American lives than I can live with that.
Oh and Bush never lied about WMDs.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:15 pm“The people that matter know the truth.”TrueFascist
This is a classic freudian slip. To fascists, the class that ‘matters’ is all that’s relevant, and no one else counts. In otherwords, they believe they are ‘better’ than everyone, while claiming the other side is ‘elitist’. This is where the ‘college professor’ snipe comes in. Because this retard feels undereducated, he swipes at those who obviously have made him feel stupid in the past. While his slap at poor people shows his deep seeded need to feel better than someone, a clear sign of his insecurity and lack of self esteem.
You retards are so easily seen…
November 16th, 2005 at 8:15 pmTrueFascist,
Bahaha, of course he lied about the WMDs, have you been asleep this week! Of course you have. RETARD.
As for the secret prisons, you forget REPUBLICANS CREATED TERRORISM. And Terrorist activity has INCREASED under republicans. In otherwords, if you think those prisons are helping, you’re beyond whacko, you’re braindead!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:16 pmDoes anyone remember how the networks somehow forgot that Florida has two time zones and called the state for Gore before the polls closed in the panhandle, which is heavily Republican. How many votes did Bush lose due to this stupidity? Or was it stupidity. You could say it was a conspiracy and I think you could easily count another 5 to 10 thousand votes for Bush, not making it even close. In addition, there have been numerous groups that have done the recounts since the election. They all determined that using the legal guidelines of counting the ballots, Bush still won. So shut up and forget about 2000. The longer you hold on this anger, the more you will lose.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:17 pmDID ANYONE SEE THESE GUYS PROMO VIDEO?!?
IT’S UN-FRIGGIN-BELIEVABLE!!
SEE THE VIDEO HERE
THEY SING….
“(Tolerate this!) I believe in marriage (tolerate this!) between a woman and a man. (Tolerate this!) I believe in drivin’ (Tolerate this!) the biggest car I can.
I don’t believe in seperation (tolerate this!) of the Church and state (Tolerate this!) You’re preaching tolerance to me while you’re standing there shaking your fist.”
Read the full lyrics to “Tolerate This” here.
…Right Brothers… you don’t have the MTV look, you certainly do not have the MTV sound. Even if your “Bush Was Right” song isn’t as country sounding as your other tunes, it’s not MTV friendly.
The reason Green Day gets an anit-Bush video on the air is because for YEARS they’ve been bringing MTV buisness. They’ve been famous for quite some time now. That’s why MTV does business with them.
And the majority of people who make music that MTV kids will listen to are anti-Bush. Just about every band you see in Rolling Stone magazine is anti-Bush. And let’s not forget Rolling Stone itself is anti Bush.
The anti-Bush crowd has the musicians on their side. The pro-Bush people have the country music players on their side.
MTV doesn’t care about your political affiliation, they care about what will sell. And your music will not sell in the quantities that MTV needs.
Plus, Green Day sings anti-Bush songs as a way to preach their wish for peace. Your music is just hateful.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:18 pm#215
“But only college hippies and stupid poor people believe it. The people that matter know the truth.”
Let’s see, went to college, am not a hippie and I am definitely not poor. I am well educated and work in the technology industry. You know, where smart people work. Your stereotype is amazingly wrong. But, what would you expect from a 23 year know nothing. You need to grow up, get a job, pay some taxes and get off your momma tit. loser.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:18 pm“.”, it was FAUX REPUBLICAN news who called the election, and ironically then used that as a fake and false excuse.
And you are absolutely WRONG about the conclusion. The ‘numerous groups’ all found that Gore won – you’re a liar and a fool. Follow the links, and re-educate yourself. Your ‘limbaugh lies’ are just that – lies.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:18 pm“You lost by 500,000 votes man, YOU LOST.”
Keep spouting your lies. It doesn’t matter just answer me this question: Who’s sleeping in the White House tonight?
November 16th, 2005 at 8:19 pmTrueFascist,
Wow, you truly are retarded
Bush 50,460,110
Gore 51,003,926
That’s OVER 500,000 more votes for Gore than Bush.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:21 pm” Who’s sleeping in the White House tonight?
Comment by True RepublicanFool”
A Traitor, A Thief, A WarCriminal and A Dictator!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:22 pmAny Republikan who is of miltary age, yet has not joined the war he/she “supports”, is simply a coward, too fearful to face death. These miltary-age Republikans don’t truly support this war. They are contemtipble cowards.
They know it. We know it.
At the very least, a Repulikan who joins up, goes over to Iraq, is walking the walk. Even tho he/she is a sucker.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:23 pmIf Saddam was not hiding any WMDs why did he not
November 16th, 2005 at 8:25 pmlet the UN weapons inspectors into his country after ‘98? Let me remind you, those were UN weapon inspectors, not U.S. Why did he not comply with any of the U.N. resolutions? If he was innocent, why on earth would he risk an invasion by the U.S.? Saddam was many things, stupid he was not. Why did Clinton bomb Iraq in ‘98 for 40 days? Surely, Bill must have had a good reason. The American people are not as stupid as you liberals think. They will see right through your lies and deception. We are making progress in Iraq and Middle East. There most likely will be a withdrawal of troops next year not because of anything you idiots or the democratic party did, but because the time was right. The dems are not going to pick up any seats next year and my guess after all of this blows up in their face, will lose some seats. My only wish is that Bush could run again for a third term.
You can keep shouting OVER 500,000 as long as you want it won’t make a damn bit of difference because that’s not how we count the votes. All that matters is the electoral college not total votes.
A great injustice was averted in 2000. We didn’t let Gore steal the election like John F Kennedy stole the election in 1960. Never again will we let a democrat steal the Presidency!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:26 pmDotDufus,
Your strawman arguments have been answered ON THIS SITE dozens of times. Grow up you retarded nitwit. Just because you’re too mentally challenged to comprehend your debunked crap, that’s your problem.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:28 pm#230
“If Saddam was not hiding any WMDs why did he not
let the UN weapons inspectors into his country after ‘98?”
He did you fvcking retard. Stop listening to the lies. The IAEA cleared Saddam and said he had nothing, but we attacked anyways.
You just keep repeating the same lies. They are lies, making you a liar or a tool for the right. Stop being a zombie.
Saddam didn’t have goddamn WMDs you fvcking moron.
“My only wish is that Bush could run again for a third term.”
That is why they instituted the 22nd ammendment was to keep fvcking assholes like Bush from staying in office too long. We don’t live in a heirarchy you imbecile.
Grow up, then come back.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:29 pmSo in otherwords your comfortable that a president was elected ‘undemocratically’ and without the majority of american’s approval? Would you have felt the same way if Gore had lost the popular vote, but won the electoral? Of course you wouldn’t. See, that’s why you’re a republican, a hypocrite, a fool, and a supporter of a tyrant.
And the way we are SUPPOSED to count votes, Gore won as well. It was the supreme court who ‘appointed him’, based on the actions of republican thieves who subverted a fair vote.
You are fools, thieves, liars and fascist terrorists.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:30 pmHurry up and go find some more talking points to post, so we can debunk them.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:32 pmSo I proved you wrong about the 500k vote in favor of Gore. I proved you wrong with MULTIPLE RESOURCES on Bush stealing florida. And countless people have proven you wrong on the WMDs and every other lunatic thing you’ve said.
So your continued belief in the lies that are discredited merely proves you’re a delusional, whacko thief and zealot…
Thanks for playing, and get the hell out of MY country!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:32 pmAnd TrueFascist, I DO NOT approve of what happened with Kennedy, because I’m an AMERICAN – something you clearly are not. You however defend voter fraud, thieves and tyrants – making you ONE OF THEM!
You are a FOOL and you are EVIL based on your actions. Grow up and learn to be a fvcking man you stupid little boy!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:38 pmYou haven’t debunked anything you’ve only spouted the democrat party line. You can’t think for yourselves all you can do is whine about how “Bush lied” and “Bush stole the election” when neither are true. Unplug yourselves from the Matrix, open your eyes for the first time and see the truth:
Fact: Bush won legitimately in 2000
November 16th, 2005 at 8:41 pmFact: Bush won legitimately in 2004
Fact: Bush never lied about WMD
Fact: Bush is saving America from those who would destroy it from both without and within.
“Why did he not comply with any of the U.N. resolutions? If he was innocent, why on earth would he risk an invasion by the U.S.?”
And we found no WMD’s, so you are wrong. We sent the inspectors in, they found nothing…the U.S told them to get out and watch the u.s “shock and awe” Iraq.
BOOM, democracy in a bomb!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:44 pm“Thanks for playing, and get the hell out of MY country!” This country belongs to good moral, hardworking people i.e. the Right. Not traitorous blame America first Marxists. If you don’t like the way this country is headed there’s always Canada. LOL
November 16th, 2005 at 8:46 pmThen you should leave, it’s clear you aren’t good or moral.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:47 pmBahaha, that’s SO not true. By american election laws bush lost 2000, only the supreme court performed a coup d’etat for him.
As for 2004, diebold is responsible for that coup.
And finally bush DID lie and coerce intelligence about WMDs, just like he tried to smuggle in weapons (Plame and the CIA caught and stopped the action) to frame saddam.
YOU are the enemy within, you and the rest of your fascist anti american retards.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:49 pm“And we found no WMD’s, so you are wrong. We sent the inspectors in, they found nothing…”
Doesn’t mean they weren’t ever there. The WMD could have been moved out of the country. We took too long before making our move.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:49 pmMarxists? Bahaha, what an IDIOT you are. Someone surely weined you on a crack pipe! I’m a BIG old SUCCESSFUL capitalist thank you. Not only have I benefitted generously from bush’s tax cuts, but unlike you I don’t believe that warrants me selling out my country and making a slave labor caste.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:50 pmBy the logic of TrueFascist, we can now invade and take over Japan, because they were once a threat…
IDIOT!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:50 pmTrueRetard,
Saddam is an ego maniac. If he HAD WMDs, he would have used them on us in order to stop us. Your ‘argument’ is infantile, irrational and INSANE!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:51 pm#240
What if I was to tell you that we have proof Saddam moved the weapons to Syria? Of course, we weren’t going to find them, they were already gone. Here is a scenario: What if Bush did nothing (like Clinton) and we were attacked by Iraq with a dirty bomb? The bottom line is that Bush did what he had to do, what many democrats may I remind you wanted to do, what Clinton should have done in ‘98 but didn’t have the guts. This is why there will not be a democratic president until after the war on terror is over. Your party just can not be trusted with our national security. No way!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:51 pm“The WMD could have been moved out of the country. We took too long before making our move.”
Keep dreaming. The fact is whatever WMD capability that existed was destroyed by Clinton in 1998. Remember Operation Desert Fox? You don’t have a very good memory do you?
November 16th, 2005 at 8:52 pm#241 – nor is it very intelligent… along with the pesky 36% who are unable to use their grey matter…
November 16th, 2005 at 8:52 pm“.”, see above, you are EQUALLY as retarded.
Republicans always recraft the ‘evidence’ to fit an ever wrong and ever shifting hypothesis. Not only is critical thought the enemy of republicanism, it NEVER seems to even cross into their miserable consciousness.
IDIOTS ONE AND ALL!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:53 pmI’m just proud to have helped in my small way in ushering in Bush’s America. A new era for a new millenium.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:53 pmSpoken like a true brownshirt – you know what that is don’t you child?
November 16th, 2005 at 8:54 pmOnly problem is that no evidence exists to support your claim, so its wishful thinking on your part. Keey dreaming Sean Hannity.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:54 pmI agree with True, Ryan get the hell out of this country. Move to Canada or France so you can have your pacificism and social healthcare and leave solving the world’s problems to us, the truly intelligent ones.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:55 pmJeremy,
There’s NEVER evidence that proves republican beliefs. I posted copious evidence that disproves the entire delusion that bush one, and what does the little fascist do? He says he’s HAPPY that the election was stolen.
What a LOSER MORON republicans all seem to be.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:55 pmWait until Joe Wilson has to testify during the Libby trial. The sh*t is going to hit the fan. He is going to wish he had never started this whole mess.
November 16th, 2005 at 8:57 pm“.”, you should be in Iran, that’s where religious fundamentalism and a rightwing political rule dominates. November 16th, 2005 at 8:58 pmFor the last time, I am not NED. You are such a retard!
November 16th, 2005 at 8:58 pmSo boys/girls, whatever you are, you approve of the US Torturing and using WMDs, and murdering prisoners in their sleeping bags? How again does that make us different than the terrorists? You do realize that being a christian terrorist is still being a terrorist don’t you child?
November 16th, 2005 at 8:59 pmYou sound just like the idiot – sorry but you all read from the same talking points so much that you’re interchangeable.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:00 pmIt’s always hard to tell since they spew the same talking points from the far right media.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:00 pmAs for a ‘retard’, you’re the one who still delusionally believes that a madman would ship his WMDs out of the country instead of using them to defend himself.
Hehehe RETARD is definitely the right word, but it clearly fits YOU!
IDIOT! HEHEHEHE!!!!
November 16th, 2005 at 9:01 pmAnd they’re always so easy to debunk, yet even when debunked the whackos continue to repeat them. It’s SO SAD. I mean, Wilson was a REPUBLICAN, his uncle was the REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR of California. Heck Wilson donated the GW’s presidential campaign!
Talk about delusional whackos! Republicans are just nuts!
November 16th, 2005 at 9:02 pmAmurikkka? You just can’t contain your hate of America can you? You just won’t be happy till the U.N. is in charge of everything and America is a totalitarian state where the government controls your money, your life, and your mind.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:04 pmIf Bush lied, than Clinton lied, Howard Dean lied, and Ted Kennedy lied!

I believe that male prostitute Jeff Guckert was there. Wondered if he went “backstage†to “meet†with the band?

Translation: I have a very short attention span, and I do not recall how Guckert came to be known.
Anyone who threatens our freedom whoever they are need to either be put down or sent to Club Gitmo for an indefinite amout of time till we coerce what we want to know from them.

Translation: The hell with elections and democracy.
The democrats just keep repeating that lie over and over again hoping people will believe it. But only college hippies and stupid poor people believe it. The people that matter know the truth.

Translation: I only trust Republicans when they repeat the WMDs meme, over and over again –I know it is true ’cause I am smart. I am one of the people who matter.
Never again will we let a democrat steal the Presidency!

November 16th, 2005 at 9:06 pmThat’s your vision of amerikkka, not mine. Rascists like you always want to turn the america I love, into an amerikkka unworthy of our history. You and your fascist brethren/sisters are no different from osama. Just as evil. Just as stupid. And just as hateful.
As for a ‘totalitarian’ state, that’s what fascism (rightwing) methodology does. That’s why I’m against it. You’re the one who’s happy that a minority of americans stole the election, and enforce rabid single party rule, not me. That makes YOU a totalitarianist.
See you shouldn’t really try to use words you don’t understand – it just makes you look stupid.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:06 pmAs for your ‘UN’ Rant, that’s just religious whacko talk…
November 16th, 2005 at 9:07 pmGregor,
Well done. These retards don’t deserve such fine efforts, but I sure do enjoy them!
November 16th, 2005 at 9:07 pm“You just won’t be happy till the U.N. is in charge of everything and America is a totalitarian state where the government controls your money, your life, and your mind.”
It’s already here, we have the Bush administration in power, remember? Ex. Patriot act, Homeland security, and more power for corporations. That’s fascism for you.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:09 pmAnd RepublikkkanFascist,
You rant about giving up control of the country to the UN, but last time I checked, didn’t Bush ask Saddam do do exactly that? Why is the UN ‘good’ when other countries must submit to it, but ‘bad’ when we must again? Don’t you think this makes bush a hypocrite and a flip flopper?
You guys are so consistently foolish and inconsistent on EVERY SINGLE POINT you supposedly believe! Republicanism = Retardism
November 16th, 2005 at 9:10 pmRyan,
If you were truly intelligent, you would not respond any comment that did not agree with your point of view. You obviously have doubts and are insecure with yourself. If we are ignored, we would just go away. Its as simple as that. Of course, you are such a retard that can’t think for himself, which is why you can’t figure that out.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:12 pmIn Bush’s new america the government can spy on you without warrants. It can kidnap you to secret prisons – even if you’re a CITIZEN, without any recourse to prove yourself innocent. It can hold you without trial. It controls all branches of government. It increasingly calls for infringements of civil liberties.
Your complaint of what some whacko republican talk show nitwitty says ‘might’ happen under communism is EXACTLY what’s happening under this administration.
As for government control of assets, we since the government has largely fallen under the control of big business, that pays less and less taxes, while collecting more and more money, and paying less and less salaries – america gets poorer and the very event you describe is happening.
Funny how everything a republican ’says’ they fear, is EXACTLY what they create. You are some psychotic mofos!
November 16th, 2005 at 9:13 pmThen what’s your excuse “.”? Obviously you feel insecure about your OWN intelligence if you have to come all of the way to a liberal site to disagree with it. If you don’t feel this way, then you’re posting lies. If you do feel this way, then you incriminate your own actions and describe your motivations. This is what psychiatry calls a ‘projection’.
Republicans are always so stupid in their quest to appear smart – that’s the one thing that can be counted on…
November 16th, 2005 at 9:16 pmThey can’t help it they’re still crying over 2000! :D I can’t wait to see what they do when a republican wins in 2008.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:16 pm#230, Saddam was also creating a facade for his own people. In order to continue the power hold he had in Iraq, he could not let on that he was mostly bluster. Remember, the Gulf War? His army ran away. The weapons Rumsfeld sold him in 1988-89 had greatly deteriorated over the years. We had unmanned flights all over Iraq for years and we would have detected anything coming and going. As for manufacturing WMD, they can’t be made in someone’s basement — they are too sophisticated — we had the detectors which would have found any illegal activity. There were sanctions.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:16 pmHe had regular weapons like all countries. He had a weak army, no air force.
Clinton knew he was a potential threat and he did bomb a suspected factory in the late 1990’s, which the Republican Congress promptly labeled as a wag the dog operation.
Have you also forgotten that Bush #1 and Cheney both said on record that starting a full scale war in Iraq would be foolhardy for various military and strategic reasons.
Bush went in to Iraq on fabricated evidence for the purposes of controlling the oil fields in a portion of the Middle East. Iraq is an easy target because his weaknesses were known. Recall how quickly his government crumbled. Bush & Co. took Iraq, but what they failed to plan on was the spirit and fervor of people whose country has been taken over by a foreign army.
The many changing reasons for invading Iraq are seen as simply lame excuses in an attempt to put lipstick on the pig.
Do you recall the American patriots who defended the nascent America from the British “invaders?” Some would call them insurgents.
This war is Bush’s folly; and will be his infamous legacy. It has created worldwide unrest, global terrorism, and fostered Islamic fanaticism. His war was not well thought out, not well planned and not necessary. It was selfish, wrong, immoral and punishable in the world’s eyes.
“Your complaint of what some whacko republican talk show nitwitty says ‘might’ happen under communism is EXACTLY what’s happening under this administration.”
Might happen under communism? You just gave yourself away as a communist or in the very least a communist sympathizer.
And Bush’s America is a SAFER America for everyone, even those that don’t deserve it such as yourself.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:20 pmOh and to those who say this is a war for oil; I don’t believe this is a war for oil but even if it were you greatly underestimate the importance of oil. It is the lifeblood of America. People would DIE without it. If we can secure a supply of oil for ourselves it would be a GOOD thing. We can’t touch our own oil because it might hurt “mother nature”.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:25 pmthis true American dope is a microcephalic idiot, NO?
November 16th, 2005 at 9:26 pm“And Bush’s America is a SAFER America for everyone, even those that don’t deserve it such as yourself.”
And yet, our borders are still pourous, cargo coming into this country is checked 10% of the time and our chemical and nuclear facilities remain insecure.
Not to mention that terrorism is at a all time high around the world.

Yea, a safer america….sure buddy, keep dreaming.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:27 pm#280, yes.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:27 pmBlessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:28 pm21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Hey, grandpa! That was absolutely uncalled for!
What have microcephalics done to you?
November 16th, 2005 at 9:28 pm#279: So its fine to cause wars for oil but do nothing about curbing our use of fossil fuels?? Think about it when you see someone bragging about their gas guzzling SUV.
Thats upside down logic.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:29 pm37 ¶ Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
November 16th, 2005 at 9:30 pm#279, Oil is finite. It’s well past time to research alternative fuels, renewable and less polluting. It should no longer be the so called “lifeblood” of the supposedly most advanced country in the world. Your thoughts exemplify how shortsightedness and stupidity, selfishness and greed.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:31 pm“Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?”
Exactly, you understand that Bush with his blind faith spreading democracy with a bomb is leading the sheeple with their blind faith in Bush.

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Five U.S. Marines were killed in fighting with al-Qaida-led insurgents near the Syrian border and an Army soldier died of wounds suffered in Baghdad, making Wednesday the second-deadliest day for American forces in Iraq this month.
Eleven other Marines were wounded Wednesday in Obeidi, 185 miles northwest of Baghdad, according to a New York Times reporter traveling with U.S. forces.
5 U.S. Marines, one U.S. soldier killed in Iraq
November 16th, 2005 at 9:32 pm51 Americans have already died this month; Marines continue offensive
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:37 pm6 ¶ And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

November 16th, 2005 at 9:41 pmThe guy quoting scripture isn’t me but I can’t say I disagree with anything he’s posted!
November 16th, 2005 at 9:43 pmIt’s obvious…The Right Brothers are looking out for their own agenda:
November 16th, 2005 at 9:44 pmselling more airplanes to the military.
It’s funny that the Right accuses the media of being Liberal, and the Left accuses the media of being agents of corporate mind control. I feel if the media was truly liberal we would get much more real news, instead of all the shit they feed us.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:49 pmGovernment mind control has happened again and again all throughout history, is this the only exception, or is it the same old, same old?
November 16th, 2005 at 9:50 pmOh and of course we need the poor. Somebody has to work in the factories and clean the toilets. But the poor need the rich just as much. Somebody has to build those factories and create those toilets. :)
November 16th, 2005 at 9:51 pm#296
Thats why illegal immigration is out of control, someone has to clean the shitters.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:52 pm19 ¶ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
November 16th, 2005 at 9:53 pm20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
“I feel if the media was truly liberal we would get much more real news, instead of all the shit they feed us.” How so? 50% of what comes out of a liberal’s mouth is lies and the other 50% is stuff they believe to be true but isn’t. :)
November 16th, 2005 at 9:54 pmAnd thou shall not kill.
We beleive in the sanctity of life, now get me more ammo here.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:55 pm“Thats why illegal immigration is out of control, someone has to clean the shitters.” Yes but those jobs should go to poor Americans not Mexicans. There are lots of poor people in the urban areas who could be cleaning those “shitters”.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:56 pmThe “Liberal Media” tiptoes around and avoids real news, like what happened at the Woolworth building? What the hell hit the Pentagon?
November 16th, 2005 at 9:56 pm301
I don’t advocate it, I call it like I see it.
November 16th, 2005 at 9:57 pmThe rich folk, which happen to be mostly Republicans, like the cheap labor, the corporations like the cheap labor, wouldn’t you?
November 16th, 2005 at 9:58 pmPoor inner city folk are above cleaning shitters, they just want their welfare checks, and are not interested in going to work. The immagrants want to work hard. I live in AZ, worked as a counselor in the inner city of Phx, I call it like I see it. These “poor folk” have a sense of entitlement, not a sense of having a work ethic.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:00 pmThe “Liberal Media” never asked or covered the Bush family ties to the Bin Laden familly.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:01 pmReal American,
Did you move on to another thread, or are you preparing a long comment?
November 16th, 2005 at 10:04 pmI’m up for an intellegent debate, I respect other views. All the bashing is undesirable.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:05 pm19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:11 pm20 ¶ And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
24 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.
25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.
26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
27 ¶ Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
32 Last of all the woman died also.
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
39 ¶ Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.
40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son?
42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

This is typical of trolls. He had to leave, because he doesn’t have an intellegent debate in him. He started posting here like a liberal, then changed his tune, when he started to let his NeoCon show. Don’t waste your time tryin gto get him to have an intellegent debate.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:13 pmI like your idea of an intelligent debate.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:14 pmI did not post 309. It’s cool and stuff, but not me. Is that guy resorting to weirdness ?
November 16th, 2005 at 10:15 pmIt’s not a waste of time to get the response to the invitation to the intelligent debate. The response, or lack of says it all.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:16 pmRepublicans should be executed. What do you think For Truth?
November 16th, 2005 at 10:19 pmSo could I interpret the response in 309 as some form of denial? My mother in law is a conservative, she tends to short circuit when I engage in an intelligent debate with her. So I guess you just go into quoting scripture when faced with tough questions that one cannot answer?
November 16th, 2005 at 10:19 pmI would be a hypocrite if I thought Republicans should be executed. I’m trying to avoid the big hate thing. I enjoy asking the tough questions and seeing the responses, or lack of. Mostly lack of.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:20 pmThe right wingers are Nazi Fascist pigs. How do you see it For Truth?
November 16th, 2005 at 10:21 pmIt was interesting that Real American thought poor Americans actually wanted to work, he obviously is out of touch with the reality of it. But that seems to be one of the main weaknesses of conservatives, out of touch, like this song they think young people would like.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:23 pmWell, unfortuanately unchecked power has that effect on people, it’s human nature. LBJ was a democrat and just as bad. So it is easy to label the ones in power now as being Nazi’s, but it applies to anyone who in in absolute power.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:25 pm21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:29 pm23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
Sorry I lack the emotional excitement of bashing and verbally abusing the Repubs. Most people do become disinterested. The big bashing posts get all the responses, it presses people’s buttons. I am very good at that, but I would like to set an example, not fall into the bashing game.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:29 pmReal American keeps using my name to post scripture stuff. The material is up to interpretation anyway.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:31 pm22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:33 pm23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Real American,
If your so into the Religous thing, how about some of the basic fundamentals of Christianity, thou shall not kill, all life is sacred. The Bible is full of contradictions, metaphors which should not be taken literally. Anyone can find a peice which fits their views, that’s why sticking to the basics is unrefutable.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:34 pmReal American
I think we are having a somewhat intelligent debate, at least as intelligent as you are willing/able to get. Your attempts to press my buttons are not working
November 16th, 2005 at 10:36 pm#319.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:43 pmBut, isn,t God? but it applies to anyone who in in absolute power.
Anyone who is into real music will laugh this one off.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:44 pmI don’t think God is one, God is all.

November 16th, 2005 at 10:47 pmHere come a long winded cut and paste from that handy Bible CD.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:49 pmI am officially changing my name from the Real Truth to Your Real Dad. I think it’s funny. We are getting too serious here. Never take yourself too seriously.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:53 pmI’m getting the typical response to my questions, no response.
November 16th, 2005 at 10:54 pmSo, am I shutting people down with intelligent, appropriate blogging, free of verbal abuse and bashing?
Another one of my questions.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:02 pmDarn, I am starved for attention and am not getting it here, anyone want to give me some attention?
November 16th, 2005 at 11:03 pmI gotta say things aren’t perfect. The main problem with the Republican party is they’re not hardcore enough for me. Like when I’m out Christmas shopping before I can even get in the Walmart some dirty homeless person is begging me for change. I make sure not to make eye contact and hurriedly walk past but it still bothers me. It bothers me that these people are able to roam the streets freely. The republicans need to do something about them. Maybe we could make begging for money a crime or create some kind of facility to house these people so they don’t bother us while we’re trying to shop.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:13 pm31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
November 16th, 2005 at 11:20 pm32 Remember Lot’s wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
1 ¶ And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

True American,
You must be a facist racist bastard because Kennedy, later in his term, accepted the battle for Civil Rights and made the White House a far more respectable place than your personal God being a drinking momma’s boy like Dubya.
Kennedy knew more about civil rights than Dubya who still refuses to attend a NAACP convention like a real President should. Hell, his daddy even attended one.
I guess you ain’t a True American. Instead, you are a autocratic fool.

That is true: Neither JFK, nor GWB has created, funded, armed, and overall nurtured a terrorist organisation that will, in about… umm… 20 years, carry out one of the deadliest attacks on US soil.
I have to agree that that is no small feat.

November 17th, 2005 at 1:06 am“professional songwriters for the past twelve years”? No, really this band was created by the writers of The Onion? Right? If that’s the case, hilarious.
I’m sure you’ll fit right in with the rest of the coward traitors that ran to Canada during Vietnam. Just be ready to be spit on if you come back.
November 17th, 2005 at 1:11 am“Keep lying to yourself, and you’ll eventually wake up in a pool of your own blood, as some republican Gestopo says you aren’t “pure enough†to fit their requirements…”
Hahaha keep trying to brand the Republican party as racist. It’s funny because it’s the democrats that are the true bigots. Senator “Sheets” Byrd ring a bell? Or how the democrats keep black people down by keeping them on welfare. You wouldn’t want them to get a job and support themselves, they wouldn’t need the nanny state anymore! And remember it was a republican that freed the slaves while the democrats tried to keep them in slavery!
November 17th, 2005 at 1:19 am“Republicans however have always hated poor people, and been happy to have a starving poor immigrant and minority class to clean houses and work slave labor.”
Tell me if not them than who would clean those mansions and do other menial tasks?

November 17th, 2005 at 1:53 amLike we can believe anything his teachers say. Most likely ex-hippy commies.
November 17th, 2005 at 2:14 amLike I said you presume too much. You don’t know anything you only think you do and I’m not going to go into it with you.
November 17th, 2005 at 2:18 amUhoh, let’s hope the uber-reich head of Clear Channel, Lowery Mays, doesn’t hear about this. He’ll order all of the radio stations he con-trolls to play this song over and over and over and over again.
Just as a year ago, he changed the format of all his CC stations to a contemporary/old school format from classic rock so he could sneak in his contemporary Christian rock crap. In addition, he culled the oldies rock lyrics for ?Christian? references, which means these songs get played over and over and over again, while a large chunk of classic rock doesn’t get air-time anymore. This is why I call the people at CC sneaky. And devious. And doomed. Like all the right-wingers.
In fact, I do believe CC doesn’t stand for Clear Channel, it actually stands for Christian Coalition. Another trick of the devil’s right-wing minions.

4.) Supremacy of the Military
5.) Rampant Sexism
6.) Controlled Mass Media

And I did my senior thesis on this very subject – how to turn the U.S. into a presidential dictatorship by manufacturing a bogus Pearl Harbor event. So, technically this has been in the planning at least 35 years”

True American,
It appears you are unable to respond with any of your own thoughts when For Truth or Real Dad asks you questions. You seem a bit young and immature. You lack credibility.
November 17th, 2005 at 11:52 amTrue American,
Odds are you are young, due to your knowledge of Java Script. I am glad you will still be alive when I am dead. You will suffer the inevitable consequenses of where you want this country to go. When the crap hits the fan for you, remember what I said to you.
November 17th, 2005 at 11:56 amIRI knows all about red China – she LOVES the fact that America is now in debt to red China for LOTS of money(anyone have the actual and astronomical number?). Thats why she loves to mention red China. That’s why she loves that America is starting to look like it.

True American and copier of my names.
The issue for young people is that all the the World’s viable oil feilds have been discovered, and the capacity of the oil fields have been estimated. Our country’s main objective from now on is to secure the last of the World’s oil fields in order to maintain our status as having the “best way of life” and the most powerful military. Many speculate that our efforts to secure the last of the World’s oil supply will spread our military too thin, not having any real military here at home, and become vulnerable to invasion. It is thought the Chinese will invade and overpower us. Which could easily happen in your lifetime. My advice is for you to learn the Chinese language.
November 17th, 2005 at 12:14 pmThe ANWR has an estimated 300 million barrels of oil, we consume 9 million per day. So when that area is finally torn up, the supply would last 33.3 days.
I expect to be ignored, as this is too real, too scary, and has nothing to do with partisan squabbling.
November 17th, 2005 at 12:24 pmThis is brilliant. Wish I had thought of it. Built in record sales. No matter how bad the music is the right wing parrots will buy this crap. What a great scam.
November 17th, 2005 at 1:01 pmI heard a clip from this song earlier this morning.
I think Billy Joel and Blink-182 need to sue the pants off these people.
It sounds like a hybrid of “We Didn’t Start the Fire” and “All the Small Things.”
So not only are the right wing nutcases unable to provide a fresh set of talking points; they can’t write their own music, either.
Pathetic Crap, just like everything else that comes from the BushPigs.
November 17th, 2005 at 1:07 pmBy the by – that’s not cheap 70’s music… it’s cheap 70’s SITCOM music. And Billy Joel better sue these hacks. That one part IS “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, but without any talent. Hell, they should be sued just for not having any creative talent. Hmmmmm…. that seems to be a trend: conservatives, on the average, tend to not be able to be very creative. What subliminal messaging is under that crap?

November 17th, 2005 at 3:12 pm[...] RightMarch.com, a conservative online advocacy group, has launched a campaign trying to get a right-wing musical duo, The Right Brothers, onto MTV, reports Think Progress. Here’s some sample lyrics (and no, this is not a parody): Freedom in Afghanistan, say goodbye Taliban Free elections in Iraq, Saddam Hussein locked up Osama’s staying underground, Al Qaida now is finding out America won’t turn and run once the fighting has begun Don’t you know that all this means… Bush was right! Bush was right! [...]
November 17th, 2005 at 3:39 pmInteresting. Bad lirics AND a viewpoint most here disagree with must = NAZI. Got it.
November 17th, 2005 at 3:41 pmWe’ve lowered our standards for government . We may as well lower our standards for music . Hell , let’s just lowere all the standards !!
November 17th, 2005 at 7:17 pmThose lyrics didn’t even rhyme.
November 17th, 2005 at 10:04 pmRemember: by the time the Nazis called up the Hitler Youth, it was all but over.
November 18th, 2005 at 9:13 amHilarious. I do hope this gets played on MTV…you’d have people voting for democrats in droves.
November 18th, 2005 at 12:06 pmHey True(dumb azz)American inbred,
There are more white people on welfare. Not only are you racist, but you’re misinformed. I hope you don’t possess any firearms within close proximity to your person because when the truth- about how your parents are related, and how the Bush-Cheney mob have intellectually and economically molested you- finally dawns on your Al-Cracka azz you’re gonna probably blow… (well since ya’ got no brains)…’er the top of your sloping forehead off. But, maybe that’s a good thing!
November 18th, 2005 at 12:59 pmPersonally I think these Right(inbreds) would do us a favor with their sicko video on MTV. Propaganda 101 for the kiddies could be a good thing if handled properly. Besides that, I love every opportunity the right wing Al-Cracka Bushites take to humiliate themselves, and if that there song ain’t humiliatin’, by George (pun intended) I don’t know what humiliatin’ is!
November 18th, 2005 at 1:03 pmSadly, I actually know one of the two Right Brothers… small world.
November 18th, 2005 at 4:47 pmAnd, this isn’t an isolated case. Here is another band the right wing is using to get out the “message” the Hitler Youth…
http://www.campusprogress.org/features/650/right-wing-rock
November 18th, 2005 at 5:41 pmNot only is a crappy attempt to propaganda, but they’re also stealing Billy Joel’s tune “We didn’t start the fire”. Scum bags!
Most people who vote for the right are like chickens voting for El Pollo Loco. Don’t they see they’re the one most affected by their corruption?
November 18th, 2005 at 5:48 pmwow this is what my tax dollars are going to(that guy hangs himself)
November 18th, 2005 at 5:55 pmLunatic double-speak. I feel as if I live in Soviet Russia. Bush was right? Bush? George W? The creep who endorses torture, poison gas, assassination, murder–a list only a nazi could admire.
November 18th, 2005 at 6:23 pmRight wing creatives have no left brain ability. Nice try on the song, whether I agree with the lyrics or not…it sucks! Sorry righties leave the creative artistry to the lefties because we are more interested in art and truth rather than rhetoric and fascist lies. Bush is wrong and arrogant to boot. Eat humble pie and own the bullsh@# that Chimpy Mcflightsuit and Professor Evil have peddled. What is right about torture, failed policies, lies, bad intelligence, jingoistic bullying and religous zealotry?
November 18th, 2005 at 6:58 pmI’m reminded of when South Park’s Cartman played Christian Rock because he knew there would be an instant and mindless audience.
I think we have another future Ebay winner on our hands!
bok bok Chicken Hawks
November 18th, 2005 at 6:59 pmI heard the song and it really sucks. Billy Joel should sue for plagerism. If these boys are anywhere south of 50 they should be over in Iraq right now for the ‘nobel cause’ instead of flapping their gums at home like a well know five deferment vice president we all know.
November 18th, 2005 at 11:32 pmI think they left alot of lyrics out by mistake…
“Tax cuts to the rich, funding cuts to the poor”
“build a new school in Iraq that we destroyed”
“oh too bad your school in America is decaying away”
” you’re on your own New Orleans till the american people turn against me”
“Oh hey anything you want New Orleans, you fun party place”
November 19th, 2005 at 11:13 amI think billy joel should sue correct me if im wrong but is that not we didn’t start the fire?
November 19th, 2005 at 12:23 pm[...] Some sample lyrics and an audio excerpt below (and no, this is not a parody): [...]
November 19th, 2005 at 1:02 pmTo all Right Wing Robots who post on liberal blogs
Don’t you think that you should be doing something useful, like going to Iraq, instead of arguing with a bunch of people who won’t agree with you anyway?
And if you die, well, I’m sure you wouldn’t mind sacrificing for your country.

November 19th, 2005 at 5:41 pmI heard about this song a week ago and unfortunatley I have heard it more than I care too, which would be more than once.

November 27th, 2005 at 8:20 pmDevastated cities. Dead innocent kids. Dead innocent women. Dead innocent men. Ruined economy. Murder. Lying. Cheating. Torture. Forgery…
And being “smug” about it, too.
Maybe I’m a little old school, but I believe Americans, True Americans, do what is right for truth and justic. What Is Right.
Not because they want to be in “Power.” Not because Daddy is Rich and Powerful, or that fact that “I’m never gonna have to carry a gun in a mean old war because I’m too important / smart / Upper Class for that!”
Let’s write a song about that.
Semper Fi.
November 28th, 2005 at 4:33 pmOh, and just FYI. I _did_ just finish “serving” my country. It’s a real “piece of cake.”
People living in the streets or being pushed out or homes, “death” squads running around kidnapping folks and “disappearing” them, and having to “rebuild” entire city blocks of civilian sectors that have been wasted.
Yeah. “Democracy” … Demockracy… in action.
Do something patroitic. Take Back Your Country.
I’m neither Right, or Left. I’m Marine.

December 1st, 2005 at 5:09 am438, Chimpy McFlightsuit… love it! Impeach the son of a Bush!
December 1st, 2005 at 6:17 amWell…………..duh!
December 1st, 2005 at 12:21 pmBush WAS right….we all know that much already! ;-)
I love this song.
December 1st, 2005 at 10:05 pmAs a 19 year old Puerto Rican college kid from the Bronx, I just want to say that I have heard this song and it rocks! I know I’ve gotten pretty sick of the media bashing the President like he’s Hilter incarnate. You don’t like him, fine. I’m glad there’s at least 1 song in this country that doesn’t go on an anti-Bush tirade! The fact that it sounds like Billy Joel just makes all the more cooler! Next stop! The CD store! Good work Right Brothers!
December 2nd, 2005 at 1:00 amThis song sucks, and not just cuz of the lyrics.
December 2nd, 2005 at 9:44 pmHey, I’m half Puerto Rican, and grew up in upstate New York, and Arielle, you do shame to Puerto Ricans AND New Yorkers.
Maybe you don’t realize that a man of Puerto Rican descent and an American citizen was held, in jail, for 2 years, as an “enemy combatant”. This means that the Bush administration denied him his right to due process under the Constitution until just before the Supreme Court was to hear his case. Makes ya proud, don’t it?
Plus, your taste in music sucks….play this on your car stereo in the South Bronx or Washington Heights, and see how fast you get your ass kicked.
Typical poorly educated liberal….I don’t like this, I don’t like you, I’ma bust a cap in your ass….But when it comes to fighting for freedom, innocent people’s lives, and making the world a better place…you run and hide like a little school girl…Grow some balls buddy.
December 3rd, 2005 at 3:05 amJust who are you talking about, Derek?
December 3rd, 2005 at 8:50 amIf you are talking about me, you are waaaaaay off the mark.
December 3rd, 2005 at 9:03 amFirst of all, Arielle’s taste in music DOES suck. Doesn’t mean I want to shoot him. Never said that I wanted to do that, anyway. Re-read the post.
Second of all, “poorly educated”? I’m currently attending college…and working full time to boot, thankyouverymuch…
Third of all, “grow some balls, buddy”? It’s kind of hard to do, especially when I’m a woman. But nice try.
Fourth of all, just because I disagree with someone, doesn’t mean I don’t like them. It just means we disagree. Unlike persons such as yourself, I believe a little discourse is healthy.
Fifth of all, you talk about fighting for freedom…so, you must know from experience, right? You must have served in the military and know what it’s about. Because I know I do. I served my country, and I went to Iraq as a soldier. So, Derek, unless you have served, I guess I DO have more “balls” than you. Then again, I guess I have more “balls” than most guys I know. Sad, since I’m a woman.
Again, way to give it the old college try.
Hah….Hah…HAH..
FIRST of all, thank you for drawing out your points and numbering them, it made it really easy to follow..It really proved that you were in college, because you now 2nd comes after 1st, 3rd comes after 2nd…and so on. The balls statement, was a figure of speech. Im sorry if you thought I was referring to you as a man and were offended. But I figured we might have a little intelligence, even though I already stated and believe you are poorly educated. Im glad you were over in Iraq, I mean, i’m really proud of you. Im sure it was really tough since you could not of possibly been involved with the infantry. In your defense though, we do need people over there to do other things, but don’t come crying to me about how brave you are. If you are pissed about having to serve your country. Why the hell did you join? Because you needed money? Did you think it was just free money? Or did you not read the tiny disclaimer that said “you might have to earn your pay”? No, you are right, you have one up on me. I am not in the military. Will be someday, but they would not take me the way I am now. For a little more insight, I do too attend a University. I play Defensive Tackle for our team…standing at 6′5 290. Does the army take people like this?…Out of highschool, I figured what the hell, I’m 18 years old and athletic. I can recieve a large scholarship for doing something I love. When I am done with school, if I am still enthused to join the military, I will…But don’t try to act like you’re better than me because you served. You hated the fact you served. Your comment about getting beat up in bronx is idiotic, and so are you. Your statement about not liking someone being false contradicted yourself…You already stated it disgraced your people. You like people who discrace your kind? So yes, you, a “woman” has more balls than me, a lowly 6′5 290 DT college kid….
now get off your podium..I’m off mine..I need to go to bed…we’ll continue this later
December 4th, 2005 at 2:12 amI do HAVE more “balls” than you Derek….what, do you think that playing football is more scary than being shot at, blown up, and attacked? Or that your size automatically makes you a bad ass? You know the saying, “The bigger they are, the harder they fall”. And OF COURSE I didn’t serve in the infantry, DUH…but it was difficult for EVERYONE over there. It just goes to show your ignornace on the subject, because it’s not just guys who die over there, women have died, too, and in some pretty horrible ways. EVERYWHERE is the front line. I just hate it when people who are “so pro-war” want to criticise people who have gone served their country, and want to call it like they see it. So, yeah, I think I am “better” than you in that sense, because I sacrificed five years of MY life for a reason bigger than myself (but it should have been a LEGIT reason like Afghanistan, not Iraq). What have YOU done, Derek, for society? 1% of the population of this country serve in the military right now, while the rest of you don’t have to sacrifice a thing. What happened to the “real” men out there? After Pearl Harbor, how many men enlisted? After they started the draft, how many men refused to go? If there was a draft today, SOOOOOO many so called “men” would be whining about how they don’t want to go-even after their country was attacked- what a bunch of pampered little babies. Would you be one of those whiners, Derek? Or would you sacrifice everything you had and go, like Pat Tillman and his brother? That’s the question I ask YOU.
December 4th, 2005 at 10:30 amAnd as for whether I earned my paycheck, you better believe it. I knew it wasn’t gonna be “free money”. But unlike you “scholarship” athletes, who get top of the line gear, money for clothes to make the school look good, (and don’t tell me you don’t, because I used to work in a NCAA Division I athletic office, so I know) and get preference in class scheduling, I, a soldier of this country, doing a way more honorable thing than just playing a sport (I love sports, by the way), got gear that’s been used since the first Gulf War, got a clothing allowance that didn’t COME CLOSE to covering the cost of uniforms, and didn’t get a preference of any kind for any thing. AND I earned MY free schooling in a much more honorable way than you are earning yours right now. Who do you think is more impressive?
As for the comment that I can count…yes, BECAUSE I AM EDUCATED. Unlike some college football players who “graduate” without knowing how to read, or with some of the lowest SAT and ACT scores and lowest GPAs allowed by the school. And don’t tell me I’m off the mark, Derek, because you know I’m not.
The Bronx comment is true, not idiotic. LET ME REITERATE SINCE YOU AREN’T GETTING IT- I didn’t say that I “wished” he would get beat up, I SAID that if he played that stupid song on his car, he’d probably get his ass kicked by somebody. It’s true…oh wait, you are sooooo right, New York is a traditional haven of Republicans and Bush supporters. Yeah, right….
Now go join the military, but before you do, you might wanna lose some weight, fat ass….if you had to take a physical fitness test, you’d probably die of a heart attack on the 2 mile run. STFU.
You are nothing but a big, fat, pampered baby.
December 4th, 2005 at 10:32 amHah…looks like somebody stirred up the pot…The comment about some athletes graduating even though they’re stupid as hell is true. Your right, I admit it. I do not admit however to being one of them. To get into college, I got a 24 on my ACT, it’s not great I know, but it’s better than an 18. To stay in college, I have a 3.0 GPA, once again, not great, but im not completely retarded…Now your gonna say, “well your just a dumb athlete, the teachers probably give you the grade…” wrong again, I go to a small NERD school. I don’t think our teachers believe in athletics or anything that doesn’t have to do with a computer. Than you make the comment about working in NCCA office…First of all, man (or woman, seing how pissed you got the first time), you have done it all haven’t you..I love people like you who have stories for everything and think your soo much better. Even the case, you working in an NCCA office does not pertain to me..Second of all, I believe your comment about their students being babied with the nicest equipment and what not, but once again…because me, and my school, are not involved with the NCCA…So your comment about how hard you had it not having the nicest equipment, also pertains to me. I think our over all budget on the football programs was somewhere in the ball park of 90,000. Not rich. We play because we love the game and want to get an education. So don’t get all high and mighty on me that I’m a spoiled baby. You know what I did before I got to college? I was raised and worked on a farm. Last time I checked, farmers in a place where it damn near never rains, are not loaded. Now your saying, well I should probably be a democrat with all the subsidies farmers like these recieve. NOT!!!!I am never for the government giving out free money. Like you want them to do with the medicare, and like the Native Americans already recieve. I get the impression from the comment about you earning your paycheck that your implying I don’t work hard to get my scholarship? Mam, do you know what it takes, the time, the hard work, the dedication to be involved in intercollegiate sports? Im not gonna toot mine and other athletes horn, but it is not easy, and I for some reason doubt you could do it. Rather because you are not athletic enough or cannot take the phsyical strain.I also get the impression that you would like to beat me up, or that you think you could do it easily.I highly doubt you or your fellow bible burning commpanions could beat me up. It’s not even a thought first of all, I wouldn’t fight. Your a girl, I would do the decent thing, the REPUBLICAN thing, and walk away. Call me old fashioned, but if were to come acrossed a male beating on a woman…I would beat the living tar out of him…Even if the female victim was you. So don’t try and tell me how tough you are, I could care less. You really shocked me with the name calling. I mean, I have never been called fat. I don’t think any defensive or offensive lineman has ever been called fat. Lady, we call each other fat. But you enjoy sports, so I would think you understand that. I dunno, I just got a really big kick out of you resorting to dirty tactics with the name calling. Please continue on if you wish. It’s rather humourous
December 4th, 2005 at 2:52 pm#469 really kicked your ass, Derek. Incidentally, the REPUBLICAN thing to do is to lie, cheat and steal. The REPUBLICAN thing to do is promote racism, incompetence and profit from war – preferably while not being in danger yourself. The REPUBLICAN thing to do is to bomb women and children. That´s the REPUBLICAN thing to do.
Now you´re young and obviously have a lot of maturing still to do. If you consider yourself an honorable man and a “compassionate conservative” then your beef should be with what scum like the Bush clan have done to your party. They don´t give a rat´s ass about people who work hard, except in as much as how they can further exploit them and restrict their freedoms. Furthermore, they have dragged America´s name through the mud for all to see. I suggest you open your mind a litle bit and see what´s going on. I do firmly believe that, unlike “True American”, you are capable of doing so. The truth is rarely palatable, but it´s still the truth.

Bush knocked down the towers
December 7th, 2005 at 2:19 pmBush knocked down the towers
Intelligent post from the left again Dan…Bitch bitch bitch. Im suprised you spelled “knocked” right. I really am. Now on to other topics, you say I need to see the truth. Here’s what I see: We’re over in Iraq, killing terrorists everyday. Yes there has been some casualities. Some of our boys, some of their civillians. Hell, just the other day, two guys from around me were killed by a roadside bomb. You know what, it sucks, it really does. I don’t like to see innocent people die. But on the other hand, they died for a great cause, to rid the world of phsyco terrorists. A very very honorable and noble death. A hell of a lot more honorable than I could ever hope for not being over there. Now some might say, we’re not killing terrorists, we’re just killing people fighting for their way. Their way is strapping dynamite to their back, running into a crowd, and killing as much people as they can. I’m sorry, if you believe in something so much, that you will strap explosives to yourself and kill a bunch of people…many who are innocent, you are crazy and need help. Here is some help, we’ll put a bullet in your head and save lives. Yes, the casualites suck, and I feel terrible for the families. But it something we need to do. You say there is no reason to be over there? A ruthless leader slaughtering thousands, supporting terrorists, and working on ways to get his insanse posse to move up in the world by taking over other territories and lives, that my friend is plenty of reason. EVERYONE here knows he was gonna do something stupid and drastic before his life comes to end. Well my friends, we stopped it. We are now encouraging other countries in the middle east for democracy. Hell, I bet if we dropped a box of guns in Iran and Syria, their people would create a democracy. Granted, we could not do that for obvious events in the past such as Osama and North Korea. Which I would like to add that your savior Clinton helped them develop nukes, because he thought they would just use the technology and information for “good” use. The point is, we created a storm in the middle east. People want to live free. If they are being oppressed, they saw what happened in Iraq. They are not afraid to do the same. I really can’t see anything about the Iraq war, besides our casualites. We’ve lost 2000+. Saved many more. While we’re over there, they aren’t here. So we can rest easy tonight, we know we’re safe. I’m sorry you hate me for disagreeing with you, but that is a price I’m willing to pay to stand up for what I believe.
December 7th, 2005 at 2:56 pmInteresting arguements. I hate the fact of our boys getting killed in Iraq but I believe it is better that we do it now then after the fact. Let me give you guys a quick reminder in history; World War II. “Lets just ignore Hitler and may be he’ll go away.” Hell, even Britain signed a peace treaty with Hitler. Hitler invades Poland, “Oh, were just taking back whats ours.” Rest of world – “Oh, thats fine, but don’t do anything else” Countries would rather ignore a problem and hope it goes away rather than to address it. Saddam was not meeting the requirements set up by the U.N. (whos leader is involved in recieving MILLIONS in an oil for food scandal) After he blantently ignored these resolutions, corrupt U.N. does NOTHING, then we’re the bad guys for policing them? Saddam HATES western culture. He would do anything to destroy it. His heart isn’t secretely full of butterflies and candy, hes a brutal, torturous dictator. Some people would rather ignore this and it would take a DIRECT ATTACK FROM SADDAM HIMSELF to wake these people up. Saddam was executing hundeds of thousands of people, but since it isn’t you, obviously you would rather turn the other way. Pretty selfish in my opinion. I agree with the war, and I support my troops.
December 9th, 2005 at 11:07 amYou stone heads need to start listening more to Senator Lieberman and less to the America hating left. We are the good guys! But, you pabulum fed, self haters will never be convinced of that until the bad guys actually get their hands on you! I can’t wait to hear you whine then………

March 8th, 2006 at 10:14 pmNOFX has way more talent even if the Right Brothers do have their politics straight. Wouldn’t have been too bad if it wasn’t such a blatant rip on billy joel. Oh well, they wont’ be the last group to rip a song from the previous generation. This song was still awesome for content, especially if you are a crazy conservative like me. Too bad there aren’t talented musicians that have a clue what is going on in this world.
By the way, this is what I would say if I were a liberal:
Bush was wrong!! This song is so PHONY!! Bush is also DUMB!! He didn’t find WMD, he was WRONG!! Tax cuts were only for the rich! rabble rabble rabble abu graib blah blah Harriet myers bluh bluh
April 3rd, 2006 at 6:49 pmMy goodness if I wasn’t a bleeding heart hate America liberal AND a lesbian I would be all over the Right Brothers.
April 4th, 2006 at 1:09 pmThe instant their song began, it immediately reminded me of white supremacist “music” that I once heard when looking into extremists. Clearly someone is spending a lot of money on this low-rent below-bar band group to make them sound cleaner and professional. Even with the production, their sound is tinny and thin.
April 4th, 2006 at 11:56 pmMan, all these “tolerant” Libs sure aren’t tolerate when someone has an opposing view. How ironic.
April 5th, 2006 at 11:23 pmI love it. Of course, the so-called “unbiased” mainstream media will ignore it as they do other points of truth they disagree with.
April 8th, 2006 at 2:26 pmThe Right Brothers Take On the Mexicans…
There are two new songs available by the Right Brothers, the same geniuses who brought you “Bush Was Right.” (Remember that?) The new songs are “The Illegals” (mp3, lyrics) and “What Happened to the Pot” (mp3, lyrics)…….
April 21st, 2006 at 3:59 pmBush IS Wrong
May 5th, 2006 at 11:23 pmDoes any find that these people are ignant
May 20th, 2006 at 6:29 pmI find so sad that there are so many people who believe what they have been taught either in our (failed) public school system, or by Airhead America, “moveon” etc. The 50/50 mentioned about the Texas schools is better than 90% of the rest in the country. I won’t go into detai about every moron.
I wish I had seen this page back when ex-president Pantload was in office. So many here know so little about history, music, or the history of both parties. Unfortunately, the schools haven’t “failed”. they’ve accompkished what they started out, and continue, to do. Reagan warned us, and he was correct.
July 7th, 2006 at 3:16 pmThis song is awesome. That’s pretty much all I have to say. There are so many idiots in the world now. That’s including some of the people that have commented here.
July 12th, 2006 at 1:44 amThe comments from the left wing truly indicate how ignorant and hateful the left is. It scares me to think these people are allowed to drive & vote.
July 12th, 2006 at 1:53 pmEveryones posts are negative, I guess thats the liberal way though. Did anyone listen to the song and lyrics???? War isnt easy or pretty but atleast Bush is doing something and making progress in giving people freedom. What would another president do, throw a couple dozen cruise missiles? He is doing what he believes is right and that is why we elected him, not to worry about what everyone else thinks is politically correct.
What were your feeling the day after 9/11? Probably “GO GET EM!!!” But now its be nice, WAR IS DIRTY!!!
What is the Democrat plan?? Its been 5 years and still havent heard a plan from them.
If you have a plan for the Middle East please write your congress rep and maybe (doubtful) they can come up with something. Something is better than nothing though.
August 15th, 2006 at 8:40 ambright eyes lyrics…
I Googled for something completely different, but found your page…and have to say thanks. nice read….
November 10th, 2006 at 4:01 amWow! Its funny that free speech is cool when the Dixie Chicks say they don’t like the President but when the Right Brothers come out with conservative songs liberals say they should be sued/stoped/shutup/etc. Got to love how free speech only applies to liberals.
November 10th, 2006 at 3:26 pm[...] RightMarch.com, a conservative online advocacy group—has launched a campaign trying to get a right-wing musical duo, The Right Brothers—read on [...]
November 21st, 2006 at 11:58 pmThanksgiving Day will be exactly 1300 days since President Bush declared “Mission Accomplished” in Iraq. We all know how “right” he was about that.
November 22nd, 2006 at 12:27 pmLiberals? Buh-huh.
Hi. How long are you idiots going to keep your head up your asses?
The war isn’t Wrong or “Bad” until you’re living in it.
I have an idea. Listen to the Lyrics of this idiotic song, and tell me how much of it is actually “Right” and not the inain banter of a pair of Idiots who have No Idea what is actually happening in the world.
Tell me these guys actually have looked over all the report, talked to 80% of the active duty troops in Combat,
LOOKED at everything OBJECTIVE,
Dropped the Name Calling,
And can still come out with some half-assed rip-off of “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” but only with a little taunting “Nah-nah-nah” intro.
This is the most childish and imbecile song I’ve ever heard. It’s bad taste, and it’s Bad Music Writing.
This is an INSULT not only to the logical and rational thought, but Real Artists.
Get A Life.
November 28th, 2006 at 6:33 pmThat’s the gayest thing I’ve ever seen. Right Brothers. Their getting desperate arent they? Let them vanish while there NOT on top.
November 30th, 2006 at 4:51 pmI’d say some of you folks need to grow up. They’re musicians – you may not like what they’re saying, but under the First Amendment (You remember that amendment, don’t you, boys and girls?), they have the right to say what they want, when they want.
You really do disgust me. It’s acceptable for you for the ‘Chicks to open their mouths, but dear G-d forbid someone conservative does it! It’s an immediate attack – you’re busy name-calling and attacking like a stray chuauah, or a five-year old throwing a tantrum.
Got an idea for you, boys and girls. Something you should do. GROW UP.
Have you ever considered that MAYBE if you start acting like the adults you CLAIM to be, that you MIGHT not sound like such a bunch of idiots?
All you’re doing here is attacking people’s right to believe as they want. If you’re going to attack someone’s music, do it for the RIGHT reasons – you don’t like something about the music, NOT about what it says.
To put it more simply… G-D FORBID a Conservative were to do something like attack one of your beloveds, like P. Diddy! You’d be throwing a fit so violent people would think you were seizing up! Learn to make your arguements without sounding like such a bunch of children.
Until you manage that, do us all a favor… SIT DOWN and SHUT UP.
But, when I really think about it… i know what your reply to that statement will be. You’ll say that you have the right to believe what you want, and to state those beliefs as you choose.
Hmm… I wonder when that became so one-sided?
But to conclude… we have as much right to believe as we want as you do, folks, and as much right to express it under the First Amendment as you do. Stop being such a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites and go see a proctologist. I’d say you have your heads rammed someplace vital for you to be so one-sided and ignorant. I’m sure the proctologist can help… but maybe not.
December 12th, 2006 at 4:15 pmDude. This song is a BLATENT RIP off, and probably grouds for Law Suit.
If you want to Preach Freedoms and “respect” for one another?
El-Supreme just “Null and Voided” the US Consituation with his Signing Statements.
It’s hard to “Talk” about freedoms that No Long Apply To You, or So Long As The President Doesn’t Want You Disappeared To One Of His “Hidden Torture” Camps.
You have to have Freedom before you can Talk About It.
If anything? We have a Limited Ability to express out Opinions — so long as it doesn’t Bother Anyone Else, or Step On Toes.
HOWEVER, fiddle-dee-dee, according to Logic, Truth doesn’t have Anything to do with your Feelings, Emotions, or “Freedoms” that are apparently garunteed to us “because a piece of paper says so.”
Do you think the President has any respect for the Consituation? Do you think ANYTHING he has done is LEGAL?
The man has SUCCESSFULLY crippled our military and destroyed our capacity to respond to anything else that Might Happen in the world.
Hello? Hi. THIS IS REALITY. YOU CAN’T DEBATE THIS, BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT’S HAPPENED.
No taunting, No Name Calling, -WHATEVER-
This man has RUINED America and its military forces! Check the Statistics and reports! If anything, he has GARUNTEED another Terrorist attack and the disasterous No-Win situation in Iraq.
We can LOSE, or we can LOSE VERY BAD–
All thanks to this IDIOT and his Staff who has already “assumed all responsibility” for EVERYTHING that has happened.
December 13th, 2006 at 10:41 pmThis is such a fun song! XD People need this sort of thing, it’s so novel, original.
January 17th, 2007 at 4:05 amTo set the “record” straight…I really hate plagarism.
Boy that Billy Joel should be ashamed of himself for plagarizing, The Right Brothers’ masterpiece. So what if he published the song “We Didn’t Start the Fire” years before this fine, honest group of men decided to release their recording. Don’t you understand?
Those commie pinkos run MTV and the record companies…they just reviewed The Right Brothers’ riffs and rejected publishing what these fine musicians created because they didn’t support the propaganda that the commies were spewing to subvert our good American values.
Then the record companies gave those riffs to ol’ Billy Joel because he is not at all creative…We Didn’t Light the Fire, just like Piano Man, was just written for him to perform…that’s all.
Now I am not spinning this at all. Bill O’Reilly supports my view on his “No-Spin Zone”
Now if you really believe the cr*p I just wrote…I am sorry that I have to be so sarcastic. That music was the garbage that I expect from this facsist regime…the Bushcos.
TRUTHFULLY I HATE PLAGARISM.
Let me set you straight…though.
First and foremost I am a Christian.
I hate war.
I hate lying.
I hate sin.
I do not support this immoral administration whom slander my Lord’s good Name. There are many, many Christians in this country whom have been silenced and are opposed to the immorality of our current government.
I would like to ask that you not be so judgemental of my Lord and His TRUE followers. Many people will come in my Teacher’s name and deceive the masses because they are TRULY not of the Body with Him as the Head. They slander His name for their own agenda and profits because they truly do not believe Him and His words. In the afterlife they will be condemned.
To those of you who believe in God and are not deceived…pray for our leaders (Now you know why, don’t you? Heaps of hot brimstone will rain down upon their heads and hopefully not ours in the process.).
To those of you who are decieved by this administration…Put your faith in God…READ YOUR BIBLE. Read about the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-25. Read about the acts of the sinful nature in Galatians 5:19-21. Read Timothy (Yes the whole book…) Ask the Lord in sincere prayer for the gift of wisdom and discernment. It is obvious if you are not blind. The President is an admitted alcoholic (In remission??? I don’t buy it.). He is so full of hatred, envy, and strife. That’s not exactly the fruits of the Spirit, now isn’t it? Read your Bible for Heaven’s sake!!! Then REPENT and pray for forgiveness.
To those of you whom do not believe in God…please don’t base your judgement about His existence on this wicked administration’s behavior. I can prove the existence of God mathematically. It is mathematically defined as absurd not to recognize His existence. Please don’t attack misguided and misdirected youth because of their attendance at Christian concerts. Most of them hate unrighteousness (like you do…you don’t like the war, right? Be honest with yourself.) and are as ignorant of the truth as you are (since you don’t believe). Ignorance does not mean stupidity. Ignorance means that one does not know better.
So keep your minds open and learn as much as you can. Don’t blindly accept statements but eagerly seek out the truth because the truth shall set you free.
May the Heavenly Father bless you all abundantly…yes ALL of you. Even those that do not agree with me or my view on these important life altering policies. May He bless those whom blatantly used plagarism to promote lies and propaganda.
Remember what Frank Zappa said about drugs…Every time that someone uses drugs there is a bureaucrat sitting in an office somewhere in Washington D.C. rubbing his hands together, grinning and thinking, “Good! It’s working!!!” Drugs destroy free thought and make the masses easier to control. May God bless him also.
Tom
