More Americans want out of Iraq now
than wanted out of Vietnam in 1970. “A USA Today/CNN/Gallup survey last week found that the percentage (52) of Americans who want to get out of Iraq fast, in 12 months or less, is even larger than the percentage (48) that favored a quick withdrawal from Vietnam when that war’s casualty toll neared 54,000 in the apocalyptic year of 1970,†reports Frank Rich.

November 20th, 2005 at 7:53 amI know from my personal experience that pulling out requires greater courage than “staying the course”. Bottom line is most people know this war is wrong. Ending it has been a process of overcoming personal fear, much of which has been propagated by the White House. Maybe someday soon people will become concerned about the really disturbing aspects of this whole charade. Like who in the hell was mailing out anthrax? Where is Zawahiri or Zarqawi?

Most Americans are not as dumb as we often think. Through osmosis or just their “gut feelings” they usually see through the smoke sooner or later. While this is very much later, the deception by Bush & Co. is being felt by more people every day.

The Reps stunt on Murtha’s call for withdrawal was a colossal failure.
I see a lot of cracks in their armor, and they are desperate — now is the time to be very watchful of them.
TBS aired a show this evening called “Earth to America”.
I hope you all caught it. It was a great Bush Bash by the likes of Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Erik Idle, Robin Williams, Ray Romano, Will Farell, Cedric the Entertainer and many more.
