Who said the Reps. won’t be reelected…the wide spread voter fraud and trickery in the last two elections show that THEY WILL BE IN OFFICE AGAIN.

Votes are manipulated to reflect the result they want.

But then again, maybe he will just suspend the Constitution and STAY in office.

We’re not going to leave Iraq for at least 15-20 years. There is an oil industry that is incredibly lucrative, and has been neglected for decades.

Besides, it is better to fight the terrorists “over there”, than here in the good ole US of A, right? Nevermind that the terrorism did not exist in Iraq until we invaded and occupied it. But what the hell, imperialism is messy sometimes….

Why is it okay for the Iraqi’s to tell the U.S. to withdraw, but when the American public wants the same thing, Bush calls it “cut and run”? Shouldn’t the president follow the will of his own citizens and not that of foreign governments?

Companies waiting in the wings for Iraqi riches… this is also inetersting reading explaining why all major news groups are withholding the story of Iraq asking the US to set a timetable for withdrawing troops …..After next month’s elections, when a new Iraqi government takes over and contracts are signed it will become clearer how much oil was part of London and Washington’s pre-war plans.

I have a comment. Why do the Iraqi’s have to ask Bsuh anything? It’s a sovereign nation, right? Did anyone hear Bush ask the Iraqi people if it would be ok to remove evil Saddam from power? Wouldn’t the world be better off had it been evil Bush who was removed from power? Does Bush ask anyone anything before he does his busy-ness? He didn’t even ask his own people if they were ok with him ‘winning’ (read as stealing) the 2000 election? Were his religious friends ok with him starting a cold war for all the wrong reasons instead of turning the other cheek on 9/11? Nobody is ok with Bush not asking questions for all the missteps he does. But for all the ones in despair I have something to keep you warm at night: “It’s less bad to have some injustice done to you, than it is to be and live injust.”

I am directly commenting on the first sentence of of SLant Truth’s posting.

I went to his site and that is the same exact first sentence of his blog posting.

That first sentence is incorrect.

Sounds like Bush finally has an exit strategy. How ingenous and well thought out. I’m so proud to have such a deep thinking Republican in office.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but what if Chalibi tells him “no way, Jose!” I mean, would the Iraqi politico’s be willing to the end of the millions of dollars in graft and corruption payoffs they are getting from the US?

As a rightwinger, I’m with Halliburton on this and say we need to “stay the course” until the gravy train dries completely up.
