This report is a summary of the Iraq on the Record database.

Findings;
Number of Misleading Statements. The Iraq on the Record database contains 237 misleading statements about the threat posed by Iraq that were made by President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Secretary Rumsfeld, Secretary Powell, and National Security Advisor Rice.
These statements were made in 125 separate appearances, consisting of 40 speeches, 26 press conferences and briefings, 53 interviews, 4 written statements, and 2 congressional testimonies.
Most of the statements in the database were misleading because they expressed certainty where none existed or failed to acknowledge the doubts of intelligence officials.
Ten of the statements were simply false.
Statements by President Bush. Between September 12, 2002, and July 17,2003, President Bush made 55 misleading statements about the threat posed by Iraq in 27 separate public appearances. On October 7, 2002, three days before the congressional votes on the Iraqi war resolution, President Bush gave a speech in Cincinnati, Ohio, with 11 misleading statements, the most by any of the five officials in a single appearance.

This is what former Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi said during an interview with The Observer:
“‘We are hearing about secret police, secret bunkers where people are being interrogated,’ he added. ‘A lot of Iraqis are being tortured or killed in the course of interrogations. We are even witnessing Sharia courts based on Islamic law that are trying people and executing them.’ ”
Another excerpt:
“Responding to the former prime minister’s comments, Sir Menzies Campbell, the Lib Dem foreign affairs spokesman, said: ‘It is inconceivable in the higher reaches of the command of the multinational forces that there was not an awareness of what is being done by some Iraqis to their own countrymen.’ ”

Remember after 9/11 President Bush told the nation to go shopping. It is important in these troubled times that we do not question the president.
We should stampede to the stores, push aside the old, weak and infirm, trampling on them if we must.
Shop and buy and spend and charge.
That is the only way to defeat terrorists.
Remember what Jesus said: “Who has time for the poor when their is a blue light special at Bloomingdales”.

Remember how angry the Republicans were that the Germans and French wanted to continue the UN investigation into WMD’s? Freedom Fries and all that garbage? They turned out to be right and nobody has done anything to say,”Ooops our bad.. you were right.. no WMD’s.. We will eat French Fries again.”
Average Joe Sixpack doesn’t give a rip about England, or France or whoever. They only care about themselves. Gas prices mean a hell of a lot more than any investigation about intellegence.

Some Republicans, including at least one conservative in a safe district, have even said that they don’t want to appear with President Bush on the campaign trail.
Dont confuse the Neo-Cons with Mainstream Democrats or Conservatives. The IDEA was to split the Neo-Cons, and the Senate to put the power into the hands of the People. Elections still loom large in the Senate Mindset as well as public pressure. As you can see above the Neo-Cons are getting it from all sides.

apologies for the late reply, I’ve been away on business. TP has been busy the last few days – there’s been loads for me to catch up and enjoy.
It was none other than Mr. Wilson (no ‘cake’ from Niger) who intoned Blair may have been double-crossed but I think this cannot be true because why would poodle continue to support Bush if this were so?
This inquiry has been postulated for some time now as practically everyone in this country knows full well we have been lied to from the beginning, the polls reflect this with only 25% of my entire country believing Blair can be trusted – this shows that 25% of my country is comprised of trolls and such a high figure is a national disgrace.
I wonder what political machinations are at work to control this inquiry – most of our inquiries are whitewashes. The list is long but an example of one of the worst contrived ‘inquiries’ regarded the untimely death of Princess Diana. I am not a conspiracy theorist, I have better things to do with my time – the last inquiry from the Met Chief concluded foul play may have been present. Consider the reality: a British Princess having sex with an Asian and a short trip in a French ambulance that took longer than a flight from London to Scotland.
Blair is a warmonger – this means a murderer by proxy. A murderer by proxy is still a murderer. Also, the majority of Brits are not bloody stupid – we know Bliar was not alone and these people are also coming under pressure. The article suggests Straw will ‘come up smelling like roses’ because he opposed the war at the 11th hour, I will remind anyone reading this that we Brits are not on the whole stupid, we know a backwatcher when we see one and we know Straw was active in this up to his neck.
