The bottom line in my mind is whether or not things are better off as a result of Saddam's removal? Plus, you forget that congress (Republican and Democrat) had plenty of information at their disposal and the ability to get more if they felt that they didn't have enough. Watch the videos of Democrat after Democrat reinforcing the administration' position. Look, a lot of mistakes were made. They are not categorized by simple party lines, no matter how simple you think this stuff is. The information was bad, no doubt, but I don't think that it altered our position on Iraq one iota. Plus, as all of you up to the minute and open minded liberals are aware, there is a "new" CIA scandal being uncovered. Apparently, there may be evidence that people within the CIA have been basically "making up" some of the intelligence that the Bush administration has relied upon in an attempt to screw him. Reading this series of web postings reinforces my belief that there really are people out there who would believe anything negative about Bush, and people who would fabricate said information. I can only hope that age will temper your hostilities, and realize that we are all one cohesive unit. Most Republicans aren't buck-toothed rednecks, and most Democrats aren't jobless pot-smokers.
