Low even by White House standards:

Ohioans give scandal-plagued Gov. Bob Taft (R) a favorable rating of just 6.5%.

Wow! That’s amazing, but I dunno, I am not
sure Ohio has really learned yet.
Mabye a Ney indictment might do the trick?

  2. SpudgeBoy says:

Wow, that is the lowest approval rating I have ever seen.

  3. Ryan Neat says:

Chalk another unpopular dictator up to diebold… Did they create these machines for africa and latin america, or was that just their eventual target for them? Keep up with the current bush economic policies, and americans will be trying to illegally immigrate into mexico!

    Off topic, maybe..,
Ryan, check this out, gonna have to google a bit, its kinda murky, but Coca-Cola MAY, MAY, MAY,IF IF IF, have given some bribes to the Judges of the first so called ‘Election’ to help Place junior in office.

Again this is RUMOR, RUMOR, RUMOR, at this point so I wont post anything further on it…..-Aj

    Banana Republic, I likes dat.
Angel all we gotta do now is find the Words to “The Nationale” that the Bushie-cons sing, and make that the Official song of the Banana Republic!-Aj

Those 6 points are because he’s such a HOTTIE.

  7. David B says:

That’s amazing. Moving from Ohio 10 years ago, the problem is that the democratic party is non-existent outside of the NE corner. I don’t think they’ve had a democratic govenor in about 30 years. I believe Dick Celeste was the last. Maybe Kucinich would be interested in running the state. Hell at 6.5% they could have the mascot run and they’d get the office.

again these things come too late to save an election…

Is Ken Mehlman a “Banana Republican” too?

  11. Average TV Viewer says:

There’s no hurry, Pete. There will Democratic crooks taking his place. There will always be good fights. Keep it up! When Bushco falls it’s just the beginning!

  13. Joe Sixpack says:

Go ahead and gloat, liberals. Many of you would say that Republican elected officials like DeLay, Frist, Cunningham, and Taft are sorry-assed pukes, crooked politicans, and are unethical beyond measure. Call them Bushie-cons and Banana Republicans. As a redneck conservative, I can tell you that I-RIGHT-I, NED, aphrodite and me can easily identify with those character terms. (Oh, yes, and wwallace, too, even though he is also one dumbassed dipstick).

Correct me if if I’m wrong, but still I have to notice that the entire Republican party is looking more and more like a smoldering stench of something bigger: a nasty, corrupt pile of green cow dung that is starting to stick to the bottom of George’s cowbow boots.

I mean, that stuff is being tracked right into the oval office, for Christ’s sakes.

  14. Joe Sixpack says:

Or is it that George is starting to stick to the bottoms of the Republican shoes? Whatever.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but some other rightwinger needs to step here and give me a hand sticking up for Taft and company. I mean, I don’t seem to be doing a very good job of it.

Can’t help wondering about this poll. Reason, wouldn’t swear there are 6.5 people in the whole state with a favorable opinion of Taft the Terrible.

    —“Go ahead and gloat, liberals.”—

Gloat? Hell, this is frightening. A governor with no support at all, still running th state for years. Everybody loses.

Even worse, it repeats at the Fed level.

Makes you wonder about them there votin’ machines.

Somebody get a net! I am not against anyone purchasing gifts, putting up decorations, or getting together with family —essential aspects of the holiday season. But, Christmass itself is rooted in various forms of paganism. O’Reilly should be embarressed to insist on the term “Christmass”. Apparently he accepts what has been told to him at “face value” and has not researched the true the pagan traditions that developed into “Christ-Mass”.

  19. Ryan Neat says:

So what this means is that 6.5 percent of ohio citizens are in a persistive vegetative state? Or maybe those are the few faithful that actually watch faux news for their political compass? ;)

I agree… I imagine his ‘family’ would make up a bigger percentage than that…

I REALLY wish we had a process like the more parlimentarian Canada… they can abolish an administration for ‘lack of confidence’… but we’re doomed to at least another 3 years of the Bushites unless we can force an impeachment thru the Republican controlled oversight committees. Unlikely, since they’ll probably steal the 2006 elections too.
