O’Reilly Finally Unveils Enemies List»

After sites like Media Matters and ThinkProgress exposed his callous remarks about San Francisco, Bill O’Reilly said:

I’m glad the smear sites made a big deal out of it. Now we can all know who was with the anti-military internet crowd. We’ll post the names of all who support the smear merchants on billoreilly.com.

Here’s the list which debuted yesterday:

O’Reilly provides no information about what, specifically, these news organizations actually did to earn their spots. But O’Reilly never lets facts get in the way of his outrage.

    What an unbelievable tool.

  2. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

C’mon, O’Lielly! I practically begged you to put me on your Enemies List. What do I have to do? Wish you “Happy Holidays” to your face? What a pinhead!

  3. Zookeeper Says:

    Where’s my name?

  4. Average TV Viewer Says:

    His ratings must be terrible.

  5. Pessimist Says:

I want to be on the list. Please bill, you lying sack of dog shit, what do I have to do to get on your enemies list!

  6. Zookeeper Says:

I’m pretty sure MSNBC made the list because of Keith Olbermann’s hard work on Countdown. Oh, how I miss the clock ticking down to the BO story…

  7. John Henry Could Hammer Says:

    Spelling note: callous

  8. kindness Says:

What do I have to do to appear as an entity in my own right? I’m there…..

  9. Matthew J. Price Says:

Bill O’liely can take his list and shuve it up his cornhole.

  10. Joe Bua Says:

I’m sorry, but I can’t click on the O’Reilly link. My puke bucket is in the other room.

  11. Zookeeper Says:

#6 & #9 - Arianna Huffington had a thing where you could send her your name and she’d take the list to him personally, but I’m not finding it now.

  12. Anti Warhol Says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAH!

Ah, Bill O’Rielly, you’re just too much.

  13. tech@ydwa.org Says:

What the hell. Think Progress does not make the cut? Come on Bill!! Put down the Falafel!

  14. Andy Says:

I’m surprised Media Matters and Think Progress aren’t on the list.

  15. Marie Says:

I can’t view any more than three — is that all he’s got?

  16. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

If distributing “defamation and false information” is his criterion, where are The Cato Institute, The Heritage Foundation, The Hudson Institute, The Scaife Foundation, The Bradley Foundation, The Olin Foundation, The Weekly Standard (thank you Bill Kristol and your Iraq-invading buddies), Fox “News” Channel, and The New York Post? Oh, yeah. That last two are owned by his boss, Rupert Murdoch.

And why not name the “far left websites” to which he refers? Is he thinking of something other than Media Matters for America (www.mediamatters.org) and ThinkProgress (two outstanding websites)?

I hate to say it, but I think O’Lielly is too much of a coward to face his “enemies.”

Okay, I lied. I loved saying it. What a jerk.

  17. Chris in AZ Says:

Pot: (to Kettle) Wow, you are black.

    (no racial overtones meant)

  18. the Fly-man Says:

He reminds me of Christina Aguilara in her non stop attention getting episodes or is that Ann Coulter I’m thinking of? Can any body say THUG? I cant imagine what Nelson Poynter would think to have the St. Pete Times on a smear list. I guess Fox has to keep their sensationalism fair and balanced, Bill O is becoming another Michael Jackson dangle berry on the spyhincter of the great Fox orafice that so many people have to engorge themselves with. Homer Simpson has more credibility than Bill “at a medium pace” O.

  19. SpudgeBoy Says:

Are you kidding me, he only posted three places? Tat’s fvcking bullsh!t.

Hey Bill a lot more than three sites think you are full of sh!t.

I’m gonna go by the domain: http://www.billoriellyisfullofshit.com

  20. DS Says:

    I love this:

They are dishonest and not worth your time and money.

Couldn’t he put his own name on the list?

  21. Florida Liberal Says:

I wrote Bill and begged him to put me on the list. He ignored my pleas HOWEVER my hometown paper The St. Petersburg Times made the cut. I am SO PROUD. By the by he did’t list any of the blogs because obviously someone way smarter then him pointed out to Bill that that would give wonderful sites like Think Progress too much publicity. Better to smear the three he listed so that he didn’t have to deal with facts. Ha. Bravo St. Pete Times. Bravo.

  22. SpudgeBoy Says:

    “I love this:

They are dishonest and not worth your time and money.

Couldn’t he put his own name on the list?”

You’ll notice the first thing to come to Bill’s mind is money.

  23. Suzanne Says:

Wow have we all fallen. That this is even tolerated in our society says it all. 20 years ago this guy would have been seen as the nut he is. The situation t is far worse than just this guy. This is the water we’re swimmin in folks. America. It feels polluted to me…..does it to you?

I think the best thing that could happen now would be for everyone to ignore him. Then he’d have to deal with his “outrage” ( more like - his personal issues) all by his lonesome. Wouldn’t it be nice. Problem is, there is a whole kettle of little O Reillys trying to make their twisted reality everyone elses. Oh well. Luckily things seem to be shifting back toward sanity slowly as all the lies are exposed. Those loud Republicans that just “keep it up” ala things like this list, don’t care about the truth…it’s all about saving face now cause they are scared.

  24. the Fly-man Says:

Come on Bill not worth your money? The St.Pete has this great story in todays’ edition about mobile Strip clubs across from the Bucs stadium. I could get a hot chick to call him and read it to him or leave it on his voice mail FOR FREE!

  25. Suzanne Says:

yeah, Fly man. That’s the level we’re talkin bout. Good one. Total loser and a mass of inconsitencies he.

  26. afterthought Says:

    #25,

Maybe if you offered a falafel too?

Seriously, I really think all the big winger
screamers are just in it for the money
they get from their rube listeners.
They don’t really believe the crap
they spew. They can’t be that dumb.
I think they just laugh to the bank
    that people:
    1) Listen to them
    2) Believe a word they say.

  27. Punchy Says:

Wait a second!! Where the hell is Media Matters? Isn’t that the site that pisses him off the most? Oh yeah, he doesn’t want to plug it. Dumbass…

  28. Plum Says:

Interesting that MSNBC made the cut. Isn’t it Fox’s main competitor? Hmmm.

  29. joe cantwell Says:

    three? just three?!

billy you took an awful long time to do so little homework. if you were back in the sixth grade i’d say it’s time for a parent/teacher conference about what to do about our little billy.

  30. Jane E. Schneider Says:

You know, when I was reading the comments on the earlier BO’R thread, I thought, “What ever happened to his hit list?”, and presto, here it is! What a waste–I’m pretty sure all of us wrote begging to be on the list! And, as Wayne said, what about Media Matters, or even David Brock? What a wuss!

I think that it’s despicable that one has to pay to make comments on his website. Oh, well, there’s always oreilly@foxnews.com.

Boy, I feel totally let down. What a bastard!

  31. Ryan the Angry Midget Says:

He must of been really hung over and one of his cronies was like,
“Hey Bill! Remember after we did that entire 8-ball of coke two weeks ago, and you said you were going to publish an enemies list on your website?”

    And Bill was like,
“Damn it! Quick! Pick three media outlets with more credibility than me!”

    And his crony was like,
“Bill! There are tons! You want just three?”

And then Bill passed out from snorting coke off of a hooker’s ass.

  32. Liberal Smartass Says:

Keith Olberman is da bomb baby! O’Reilly needs to go implode somewhere by himself…he has turned into such a joke.

  33. the Fly-man Says:

I think he could be testing the waters to see if he could be prosecuted under the RICO act. Seriously, he has suggested a veiled boycott of three corporations and their advertisers. Is some one out there in blogdom familiar with this approach? I may be way out there but you all have been asking the obvious questions and money IS the issue.

  34. Labdad Says:

Ouch, I bet MSNBC and the rest are shaking in their boots.

  35. Pessimist Says:

Perhaps we can initiate a boycott of his shows and advertisers. I bet if we organized it correctly it would have a massive and immediate impact. Hmmm.

  36. Jane E. Schneider Says:

And what’s this ‘royal’ “we” crap? Bill and who else? The website is just billo’reilly.com, so, who’s “we”?

I think he’s going to be twisting in the wind all by his lonesome when those three corporations’ lawyers come a-knockin’.

  37. Innocent Bystander Says:

BO….check under your bed tonight….can’t tell where those enemies might be hiding. When you publish “enemies lists”, you’ve lost the argument, BOBO. It’s great to see that the implosion is underway…..

  38. tomz Says:

Wish someone would hack his site and put O’Reilly Factor on that list

  39. Jesus Christ God of WAR Says:

What? Isn’t that fool getting enough kinky sex? Or something?

I like the idea of hacking his site to add his own name to the list… :-)

  40. WORFEUS Says:

His list reminds me of the lists the Sturmabteilung (the SA the precursors to the Gestapo) circulated of German citizens and merchants who supported Jewish merchants and businesses.

Now, I’m not calling O’reilly a Nazi, (although he would look good in a red arm band), I just call him an asshole.

  41. the Fly-man Says:

Think he’s kinding try this link. He knows who his audience is.

  44. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

#42 That guy is a total crackpot. He tried to have shows like “NYPD Blue” banned before they even aired based on nothing more than rumors. (He never saw an episode before he began his boycott.)

That man has absolutely no credibility. In fact, whenever I hear that he doesn’t like something, I try very hard to check it out for myself because I figure that if he hates it, I’ll probably enjoy it.

I didn’t even know he was still around. It looks like he’s still a desperate attention-seeker. We should all boycott him.

  45. kevin Says:

hey! dont forget air america radio.

  46. vcthree Says:

There’s a little black list on the net today…
It’s the same bullshit as yesterday…

  47. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    #47
I have stood here before trying to rack my brain,
But the things Billy says are completely insane,
I guess I’m always hoping that they’ll end his reign,
But it’s my destiny to be a guy named Wayne.

    I apologize. I’ll stop now.

  48. the Fly-man Says:

Last one for tonight, try http://www. mediamatters.org. It appears NBC & MSNBC are trying to take on Fox news for who’s the most bloviant & scurrilous. I don’t discount Bill cause there is a lot of folks who can only hear his few spew points and that is why we have the leadership we have today because of the anti-secular, anti-gay, anti-liberal hate mongering fear riddled opportunists.

  49. AvengingAngel Says:

I’m not on O’Reilly’s list, but he’s on mine.

  50. Anti Warhol Says:

You know, I bet he had this whole list laid out, with hundreds of names and blogs and websites and news organizations and non-profits.

Then he sat down and got so angry about the posiibility that he would actually be giving them free publicity and/or mainstream credibility that he just started narrowing the list until he could only come up with three examples.

  51. Randy Says:

TP seems to spend too much time worrying about Bill O’Reilly and Fox News. Could it be that you guys are worried that the truth actually does get out? That could explain why their ratings are so much higher than MSNBC. Hurts not to have the media monopoly anymore doesn’t it?

  52. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

The truth? From Bill O’Reilly and Fox News??? You need to get out more, Randy. Those guys stay as far away from the truth as possible.

The whole canard about the media being liberal was started by the right decades ago (Pat Buchanan contributed to that lie in the early days) because they felt that their “message” wasn’t getting out in the mainstream media. What they failed to understand about journalism is that it’s supposed to be about “objectivity”, not “balance”. I seriously recommend that you read David Brock’s “The Republican Noise Machine”. You will definitely learn something.

Seriously, read a book! (And not one published by Regnery.)

  53. Jane E. Schneider Says:

Randy, even right-wing neocon Bill (PNAC) Kristol admitted recently that there never really was a left-wing media, so you can give up that old line. And, no, we’re not “worried that the truth actually does get out” via BOR and Fux “News”, because they have nothing to do with the truth OR news. Read “The Republican Noise Machine” by David Brock, then come back and admit that you’re wrong.

  54. Zookeeper Says:

Randy, TP and we commentors are not worrying about BO & Fox “News,” we’re laughing at them.

  55. Jane E. Schneider Says:

Damn it, Wayne, you type faster than I do! Well, Randy, I think that you get our point!

  56. Ryan Neat Says:

Kristol once told The New Yorker that “the liberal media were never that powerful, and the whole thing was often used as an excuse by conservatives for conservative failures,”

This tired old republican lie has been laid to rest by the NeoCons themselves, those who repeat it are just morons.

  57. Ryan Neat Says:

    Randy,

How’s your ex-wife. Still a lonely republican kook, or have you been drinking with your buddies to forget your failed and miserable life…

  58. Pessimist Says:

    Randy,

Please quote a “truth” that you feel that you feel that Fox/O’Reilly let out that the liberal media attempted to suppress. One example is all that I ask and should be no problem for you since your blanket claim implies that they are considerable in number.

  59. SpudgeBoy Says:

“TP seems to spend too much time worrying about Bill O’Reilly and Fox News.”

Actually, we find him quite funny. He could only come up with three sites. Shoot. I can think of ten off the top of my head.

“Could it be that you guys are worried that the truth actually does get out?”

Actually, we are scared it won’t get out.

“That could explain why their ratings are so much higher than MSNBC.”

Yes, but once again in perspective. 1.4 million people watch Fox News. 2.5 million people play World of Warcraft. So, more people would rather [;ay a video game than watch Fox News.

“Hurts not to have the media monopoly anymore doesn’t it?”

    We don’t have one.

Don’t you think it’s odd that you give a rats ass what the hell we think, post, say or do?

  60. Anti Warhol Says:

If the entire sphere of media is liberal except for Fox News, why would we be worried about competition from one network? CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN combined rating share is probably greater than Fox News and its affiliates.

It’s not a monopoly, but it’s pretty close.

  61. Pessimist Says:

Seems Randy did not want to respond. Too bad. I suspect that just typing the word “truth” probably caused his computer to freeze up and his head to implode.

    Just a theory.

  62. cynical ex-hippie Says:

Yeah Randy, why are we so afraid of Fox News? It’s not like they’re going to dupe the country into a foreign war of occupation, financed with borrowed money. Ummm… right?

  63. stefan Says:

I have a suggestion: get as many organizations as possible to *beg* to get onto the list. Treat it like a badge of honor and patriotism, rather than something to feel frustrated or angry about.

  64. actor212 Says:

I’m very disappointed that my smug-yet-snarky lefty blog didn’t make the list yet.

Ah, well….guess I’ll just post the Mackris transcripts over and over again…

  65. Ryan Neat Says:

    http://www.newshounds.us/ 2005/ 05/ 18/ fox_news_in_ratings_free_fall.php

“TV Newser cited a CNN press release which gave these totals for Fox’s primetime audience in the 25 to 54 age bracket: Oct. 04: 1,074,000; Nov. 04: 891,000; Dec. 04: 568,000; Jan. 05: 564,000; Feb. 05: 520,000; March 05: 498,000; April 05: 445,000. That amounts to a decline of 58 percent, with no sign of leveling off.”

I’m not sure where 1.4 million came from, faux news is looking about as popular as bush is. If they keep this up, the saudis will be able to take over newscorp with monopoly money!

And I bet at least half of those who still watch faux news, do so just record and debunk it’s daily spew of misinformation.

  66. Jane E. Schneider Says:

Wayne already emailed the St. Petersburg Times, letting them know that they’re on O’Lielly’s list, and asking them what they did to piss him off. He’s going to do the same to Keith Olberman (sp?). Maybe O’Lielly will make Keith’s “#1 Worst Person” tonight!

  67. im4mary Says:

#44 - Thanks. That’s really what we need to be doing is setting aside a bit of time to inform these advertisers we won’t be doing business with them until they stop doing business with FOX and deviant sons!

  68. SpudgeBoy Says:

    “445,000″

    Ryan,

Thanks for that link. That is even better. I can now say five times as many people want to play a video game instead of watching Fox News

  69. Gregor Samsa Says:

TP seems to spend too much time worrying about Bill O’Reilly and Fox News. Could it be that you guys are worried that the truth actually does get out? That could explain why their ratings are so much higher than MSNBC. Hurts not to have the media monopoly anymore doesn’t it?
    Comment by Randy — November 29, 2005 @ 6:41 pm

So now MSNBC is part of a vast “liberal conspiracy” to cover up the truth? Is that what it is?

MSNBC is co-owned by Microsoft and NBC, two corporate behemoths. It boggles the mind to think that these companies would have a “liberal” viewpoint.

What’s more, NBC is largely owned by General Electric, a very large defense contractor. GE liberal? Me thinks not.

We are definitely not worried that the truth will come out of MSNBC. It just so happens that FoxNews is the worst offender of them all.

  70. I-RIGHT-I Says:

What’s more, NBC is largely owned by General Electric, a very large defense contractor. GE liberal? Me thinks not.
    Comment by Gregor Samsa

Then you don’t know anything about big multinationals. Nothing at all. Don’t forget, Liberals started the Vietnam war and dropped the first atomic bomb. Liberals love to kill.

  71. Jane E. Schneider Says:

Ryan, your last point is correct. I know that Wayne and I only watch it to see what lies they’re telling.

  72. Leslie Says:

I thought Huffington was helping O’Reilly compile his list? But he only has three enemies!? So what does a blogger or think tank have to do to get on O’Reilly’s enemies list?

  73. Pessimist Says:

    Amen Gregor, amen.

  74. SpudgeBoy Says:

You see, he only listed three because if he was to post the vast list of sites that trash his lies, his viewers my catch on to the fact that he is full of shit.

  75. bluinsc Says:

What a nice gift. I want to make sure all of my media sources consider Bill to be nothing more than a tiny little irrelevant gossip columnist. This way, I don’t have to waste my time reading archives. It’s like having someone else make out my holiday shopping list for me. Thanks Billy!

  76. Pessimist Says:

    Ass Cheek-RIGHT-Ass Cheek,

Interesting assertions that you make about liberals loving to kill and the broad statements you made about Vietnam and the atomic bomb. However, can you provide some facts that back up your claims? The history and facts that I’m aware of do not support your assertions and, in fact, contradict them. I am interested in hearing the information that you have.

  77. Mary Says:

I’m thrilled that our little St. Pete Times made the list. That is an honor for a newspaper in a formerly red state, now blue - thank you very much.

  78. Ryan Neat Says:

“Then you don’t know anything about big multinationals. Nothing at all. Don’t forget, Liberals started the Vietnam war and dropped the first atomic bomb. Liberals love to kill.
    Comment by I-RIGHT-I ”

I know a lot about multinationals and american history, and I can say with all certainty that you’re retarded on both accounts.

  79. Gregor Samsa Says:

Then you don’t know anything about big multinationals. Nothing at all. Don’t forget, Liberals started the Vietnam war and dropped the first atomic bomb. Liberals love to kill.
    Comment by I-RIGHT-I — November 29, 2005 @ 7:17 pm

    This makes no sense whatsoever.

  80. Joseph Says:

This begs the leagal question: at which point does he become responsible for anothers actions against these sites?

  81. Ryan Neat Says:

    Pessimist,

The difference between democrats and republicans in wars, is that democrats win, and republicans lose.

  82. im4mary Says:

However, it was FOX and Duhbya’s cousin that first stated he won the 2000 election and now look at what we have! Better to know the enemy and not take it too lightly. Some ignorance is best to be ignored (IRI, WW, MA, etc) especially if they don’t have any significance to sustain them; others are best to keep on the radar screen (FOX, Rove, etc) because they can, and have done a hell of alot of damage.

  83. Jane E. Schneider Says:

Hey, maybe Randy went out to a bookstore to buy “The Republican Noise Machine”?

  84. SpudgeBoy Says:

    “This makes no sense whatsoever.”

I was gonna say the same thing Gregor.

  85. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    #77 Pessimist,
Much as I hate to admit when I-R-I comes even close to the truth, it was LBJ who escalated our involvement in Vietnam and Harry Truman did order the first (and only) two atomic bombs dropped. But after he did that, the world came to realize just how deadly and dangerous these weapons are to innocent people.

But as for his crap about “Liberals love to kill”, I would say that he’s way off the mark there. It’s conservatives who love to use the death penalty and who cried when it was stopped in the seventies, who hate to see any kind of weapon (like cop-killer bullets) banned, and who blindly support the illegal and unjustified war in Iraq.

Liberals hate to kill unnecessarily. Conservatives have no problem with it.

  86. Ryan Neat Says:

    Wayne,

In each of those cases the democrats were in new and uncharted territory. The difference between democrats and republicans, is that democrats are cerebral and actually LEARN from history. Republicans blame historians for the failure, instead of the failure itself. It’s a psychotic detachment from reality.

  87. Jane E. Schneider Says:

Gregor and SpudgeBoy: Not only does IRI not make sense in the context of this thread, but doesn’t he realize that the full epithet is “bleeding-heart liberals”? “Bleeding-heart” and killing don’t mix.

  88. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    Ryan,

    Well put, as usual.

Yes, liberals, who by their nature actually use their brains do learn from their past actions, even going so far as to admit when they were wrong (which is something I have yet to hear this president do about anything other than trading Sammy Sosa.)

They really do seem to be uncomfortable when dealing with reality, don’t they? They seem happiest when they are “cavorting” about in their own delusional universe. Speaking of which, where is NED these days? What did he do, pick up the wrong guy at a bar in NYC?

  89. Gregor Samsa Says:

Liberals hate to kill unnecessarily. Conservatives have no problem with it.
    Comment by Wayne A. Schneider — November 29, 2005 @ 7:33 pm

We have I-RIGHT-I, on the record, advocating mass killings and genocide. So, yeah, they have no problem at all…

  90. IraqVet Says:

    I RIGHT…

    ARE YOU STILL RUNNING AWAY…

I pulled your card and like a punk, you are hiding like a little P***y and you still refuse to step to the plate…

Let’s settle this!!! YOU support Bush…I have a friend that can be at your place tomorrow…

We need soldiers…What is your answer?

At least TWO liberals are serving in the service of their country? Why can’t you? Do Neo-Cons hide behind their mama’s dress or lame excuse of injury? Of is COWARD an accurate sentiment?

Still waiting for ya…and EVERYONE can see you are SCARED of meeting me man-to-man!

  91. God Says:

Never fear. I shall smite him. How dare he leave me off of this list??

  92. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    Gregor,

And let’s not forget the talentless Ann Coulter who said (of the terrorists after 9/11), “We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.”

Funny how they don’t seem to see the disconnect between claiming to be followers of Christ’s teachings and being devotees of mass murder at the same time. Was there another Jesus Christ of which I was previously unaware? Because the one I heard about would NEVER support the Republican/conservative agenda.

I seem to remember he said, “What you do to the least of you, you do to me.” (Or something to that effect.) He sure didn’t sound like a war-monger to me.

  93. Acksyn_JAcksyn Says:

  94. cynanne Says:

#92 - God , I need to tell you this , plain and simple . Here it is : O’Lielly THINKS he’s worshiping you , but he ACTUALLY prays to a vibrating fafelel every night ! You’d be SO proud of the altar , though - embroidered cloths draped just so , golden candles burning , the works !!! T’would bring a tear to your Almighty Eye , really , the SINcereity that ol’ Bill invests in his kneelin’ and squealin’ ! … ;)

  95. Pessimist Says:

A careful examination of both events that AC-R-AC carelessly blames on democrats shows that the characterization is both false and inappropriate because both events were not driven by the political agenda of either ot the current political parties of republicans or democrats. Therefore the claim itself is as irresponsible as it is ignorant. What next? Will we be arguing that republicans make better seamstresses than democrats because they know how to spin a yarn?

What AC-R-AC attempts to obscure by throwing out baseless and senseless claims are the cold hard facts of the truth in which we live. Consider that indictments are coming down all around washington, torture is being discussed in “technicalities” while totally missing the attrocity that it is even being discussed (and, defended), and we are in the midst of an illegal war based entirely on lies at the cost of precious lives and, to a lesser extent, enormous economic resources. These truths are horrendous and despicable and it is irrelevant and simplistic to argue them on the basis of political parties. I can guarantee that for myself, and I believe anyone of conscience, that I would be as opposed to these attrocities regardless of the “party” in power.

I didn’t see you publish your address? I’m not scared of any face to face but the fact is the Filthy Left has a history of doing things in the dark, on the sly and behind your back. What do you have in mind?

Oh, and I’m not enlisting. Hell, we’ve got you, right? You’ll be there to make sure some leftist national guardsman doesn’t frag an officer or toss a grenade into a tent full of his sleeping comrades, right?

  99. KillCon2006 Says:

TP seems to spend too much time worrying about Bill O’Reilly and Fox News. Could it be that you guys are worried that the truth actually does get out? That could explain why their ratings are so much higher than MSNBC. Hurts not to have the media monopoly anymore doesn’t it?

    Comment by Randy

Randy, you ignorant, backward boob, the cable news channels are the backwater of the media, like where you live, in the sticks, without flush toilets. Daily Kos alone is larger than the entire right wing blogosphere. Tliberal/progressive blogosphere surpassed cable back in June in the critical 20 to 45 demographic and has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since while clowns like you are just shrinking and slinking back under the rocks you crawled out from under.

It worked pretty good in Germany and Japan but of course we called it something else; war, I think.

  102. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

#96 Good point. I hadn’t thought of it that way. While the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution and the dropping of Fat Boy and Little Man (were those the right names?) had nothing to do with party ideology, the war in Iraq is about nothing BUT party ideology. And it would never have been supported had the truth been told from the beginning (the truth included the fact that the Vice President wanted that war before they made it into office.) Do any of the trolls believe that if President Bush and Vice President Cheney campaigned in 2000 saying, “And when we get into office, we’ll find some excuse to get rid of Saddam Hussein!” that they would have come close to winning? People would have rightfully responded, “Oh, yeah? And then who?”

  103. Pessimist Says:

    Ass Cheek-RIGHT-Ass Cheek,

Glad to see that you are back. Please quote some factual history to support your claim that the “Filthy Left has a history of doing things in the dark, on the sly and behind your back”.

By the way, are you implying that only liberals get abortions? Because that’s quite a leap into la-la land. If you guys get your way and abortions are outlawed completely, only rich Republicans will be able to afford to travel to another country to get one, like they used to do in the old days.

  107. Pessimist Says:

    Mr. Schneider,

Excellent point and a source of confusion to me. I would argue that the ideology that is behind much of what is happening is not really republican/conservative. However, the republican party has been tricked into adopting it, at least temporarily, with the promise of power and wealth.

What I cannot fathom is how so many people have not owned up to being duped and feel that it is their obligation to continue to support this administration even when in their heart of hearts that have to know that they’ve been deceived. It’s mind boggling.

  108. Pessimist Says:

And once again Ass Cheek-RIGHT-Ass Cheek runs away. I’m sorry sir but I have no other choice but to conclude that you are both an extreme idiot and a monumental coward.

  109. Nancy Says:

This really is pretty funny. I wouldn’t watch Faux News on a bet. The advertisers who may be trying to reach me, will never find me there. On the other hand, I am always at MSNBC! I did follow O’Reilly’s sex scandal a while back, and Fox totally lost their credibility by not dumping that sexual deviate. He makes my skin crawl just thinking about him.

  110. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    Mr. P.,

It is mind-boggling, isn’t it? Perhaps it’s the fear of realizing that everything they believe in (or most of it anyway) cannot be grounded in reality or supported by facts.

I use to have a friend who stopped talking to me about a year and a half ago. (He was a conservative.) I asked him to explain why anyone would vote for President Bush (as opposed to simply voting against John Kerry). In typical conservative fashion, he immediately started bringing up Bill Clinton. (I never mentioned him.) When I suggested that perhaps they were duped by the promise of tax cuts that primarily went to the top income earners, he ended our friendship.

He never did answer my question, either.

Lets face it, middle America is not as stupid as you all think we are. We have the majority and we intend to build on it in the next election. We are already correcting the mistakes of the past with recent Supreme Court appointments and its only going to get better. Suckers!

  116. Wayne A. Schneider Says:

    Mr. P.,

I would say that their actions are akin to that of a spoiled child despite the fact that the issues are so serious and the effects so appalling.

Look at the way the O’Lielly (remember him? we started talking about him) reacts when Media Matters points out his hypocrisies. November 28, 2005
Poll: Americans back abortion limits, oppose ban
    http://www.cnn.com/ 2005/ US/ 11/ 27/ abortion.poll/ index.html

“Thirty-nine percent of the respondents said that abortion should only be legal in a few circumstances, 26 percent believe it should be legal in all circumstances, and 16 percent favor legal abortion in most circumstances.

Another 16 percent said it should not be legal under any circumstances, the poll showed.”

For those keeping score at home, that’s:

    26% All Legal
    16% Most Legal
    39% Few Legal
    16% None Legal

So, 81% of the country thinks that at the very minimum a few abortions should be legal, 42% believe Most should be legal.

But ONLY 16% of Americans want to Ban abortion.

Do you believe Saddam was in charge because he was smarter?

Do you believe Osama is in charge of AlQaeda because he’s smarter?

Do you believe Kim Jung Il is in charge of North Korea because he’s smarter?

Sometimes people are in charge because they cheat, steal, lie, bully and kill. That doesn’t make them ’smarter’, but it often demostrates that they lack a moral or a social compass. Only a psychotic retard things might makes right, or that the strongest, meanest or sleaziest person is ’smarter’. But since you’ve clearly never succeeded in life because you are smart, perhaps those methods of ‘cheating’ are all you have to fall back on. It explains your association with the ever inept and incompetent republicans.

DENVER (AP) — A Washington-based group has asked the Internal Revenue Service to investigate whether Focus on the Family or its founder James Dobson violated IRS rules by electioneering.

James Bopp, an attorney for the Colorado Springs-based conservative Christian group, said the group has fully complied with IRS code.

The complaint, filed Monday by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, also asked the IRS to investigate whether the tax-exempt status of Focus on the Family should be revoked. Tax-exempt organizations cannot participate in campaigns for or against candidates for public office.
