Here in Florida we are just a little bit prouder today for having our major newspaper acknowledged on the O’Reilly “Enemies of the Nation” list.
The St. Pete Times, by the way, is run by the nonprofit Poynter Institute for Journalism, and that is an EXCELLENT model that more of America’s struggling newspapers should adopt. If more newspapers could be freed from the demands of Wall Street to churn out massive profits, they could devote resources to research, travel, and litigating to uncover the cover-ups. The Times does a great job downstate and up here in the state capital.

I’d like to remind everyone that this is supposed to be the “greatest country on earth”, the “United” States of America. After over a year, there are still (taxpaying) families in Florida (victims of hurricane Charlie) who are living in FEMA trailer parks because the Bushite junta (and its crooked, insurance company cronies) have not paid up and provided permanent housing for them. Months after Katrina, and Wilma the Gulf Coast region (and New Orleans especially) remain devastated, and its people scattered around the country because the lying sack-of-shiite prezidisapointment stood on national television in prime time amid floodlights in New Orleans and ….lied.

This is George W. Bush’s legacy, the loss of one of America’s largest metropolises (New Orleans) and the complete and utter devastation of the Gulf Coast region. They can’t be restored because the Bushites are borrowing $1 billion dollars a week (from Red China)to rebuild…Iraq!

Right wing Bushite supporters, tell us how your masters Bush-Cheney are going to turn this country around, and make us once again “the greatest nation on earth”- the “United” States of America?

Using white phosphorous on civilians (many in that village were poor civilians not unlike those in New Orleans who couldn’t afford to evacuate) is a war crime/crime against humanity. So too is using the airports of foreign countries as transfer points to transport human beings you plan to torture. The Bush junta has managed to break damn near every international law and break every treaty the U.S. is a signatory to. The one thing the right wing Bushites are “right” about is the ineffectiveness of the UN, because by law the U.S. should have economic sanctions, arms embargoes and every other kind of sanction placed on rogue regimes placed on this out of control regime in washington.

I can’t argue with your sentiments at all. But impeaching them for “war crimes/crimes against humanity” would prove difficult. What would be easier, however, is the easily provable impeachable offense of diverting funds that Congress authorized specifically for the War in Afghanistan to begin planning the invasion of Iraq months before it began through secret military incursions, which Gen Tommy Franks admitted to Sen Bob Graham (see Intelligence Matters by Sen Graham.)

I’m sure we can find something prosecuatble and provable against the Vice President, too. Is being generally slimy and weaselly an impeachable offense?

At this point, I really can’t blame Bush any more. The responsibility lies with the people. Where ever they travel, George W. Bush and L’il Dick Cheney’s motorcades should be met with egg throwers, blocked roads, and any and all other delaying protests and barricading techniques to show them the people’s displeasure. Until these bastards are impeached and they’re tried for war crimes/crimes against humanity their lives, (and their travel), should be made miserable!

Bush’s most stirring and inspiring phrase was, “This is a just war, we’re combating an enemy over there to keep Americans safe.”

There is ONLY one battallion on the base that has that address! So, he can hide behind that excuse “if” he wants to…

But what I have in mind? YOU (I_WRONG) and me ONE-on-ONE training for a week! YOU go through my (modified) BASIC training course and “if” you pass then YOU enlist! Hell, I’ll even spot you 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, and 2 miles and still outlast you!

I have no desire to be confrontational (altercation wise) with you, because that would be a mismatch…but PUT YOUR MONEY where YOUR MOUTH is!!! I can arrange that with my C.O. and I informed him that I would take ANYONE from the street and train them to show them how things are in Iraq!

Out of 83 people, only 2 have stayed! Out of that number, EVERY Republican parent has changed their views (not their party affiliation) when they were shown the REAL horrors and challenges that faced the risk of losing their child…

So, he (I-WRONG) wants me, I am fine with it. He challenged my integrity and credibility, so I have 6′2″, 235 lbs of “liquid hell” waiting for him…ANYTIME he is man enough to step up to the C.Q. and ask for me, I will GLADLY accept the challenge!

Hey IRI-

Make arrangements at Elite Martial Arts in West Houston or in Clear Lake for some mat time with IraqVet- I’m sure we’d find out who’s the coward around here pretty quick. You can probably hire an instructor as referee for the “meeting” so that you don’t get permanently damaged while defending the ‘Chickenhawk’s Code of Honor’. Be sure to specify that it’s a ‘friendly’, or they won’t sanction the sparring session. Then you guys can figure it out in the ring.

I’ll pitch in to help pay IraqVet’s travel expenses, as I’m sure others would too. If IraqVet can’t make the trip, I’m sure there’s more that a few of us (including myself) that would be happy to make arrangements – however, I think we’d all agree that calling out an veteran in any fashion I think deserves a more ‘direct response’. Somebody will need to film it, though…

Neutral location, all the arrangements above-board…Whaddya think?
